Such a bright yellow sun today Axel thought. The Doublade promised himself that the next time the sun shined across the skies of this odd world, he would set out on his journey. A week before this the sky was out, but it wasn't sunny enough to his liking. Now it seemed that this was it, and that today was the day he would go to the nearest guild and get situated.
Running across the tree branches of the very thick forest that was located north of Crystalline, the heart of Tourmaline, the name of this land Axel had traveled to in search of his next big adventure. How far he had to travel to get there, but he kept hearing so much about the place, and once he heard that the queen of the land was murdered by some devious pokemon, he figured that things got exciting enough for him to finally leave his home. With the amount of arrogance he had filling his veins, the first thing he would probably say to this menance is 'I understand that you have caused quite a distress to this land, but I could still probably beat you down with just one of my blades,' and with his luck, that might be true. Axel was known in his previous land for the rash and ridiculous claims he made against his enemies, but most of the time they ended up being true. It was like a guessing game to him, with a 50% chance success rate.
"So, this is the place," Axel said after it took a while to get across that forest, as well as across even more areas between his starting point and the guild. A week ago he came to this land, and today would finally be his time to tell a tale of his daring misadventures. The guild building looked big from the outside, but the Doublade soon felt his smile diminish once his eyes processed the inside, which was much smaller than he thought it would be from looking at it's outer-appearance. It only took him a few seconds to see the ladder that led him down to the next floor, which was much bigger than the first and seemed like a hub for all of the other pokemon to meet and discuss their latest missions. After not being able to find the guildmaster, the man went down another ladder, and spotted the man he was looking for as soon as he looked around the room. He was busy however, talking to a group of three pokemon. They left once Axel began walking towards the guildmaster however, going towards what seemed to be the area that held all of the rooms for the rescue teams to sleep in.
"A Meowth, Haunter and Sylveon huh? What an odd group. Perhaps since they have accepted each other despite the weird type mixing, maybe I have a chance," Axel said to himself. He then went towards the Feraligatr, asking for a rescue pack.
"But wait, you need a team to get one," the water-type replied.
"Uh, I am with those guys," Axel pointed in the direction of the three, who just turned the corner. The Feraligatr was quite doubtful of this claim, but the Doublade didn't give him anymore time to ponder it, as he snatched a bag from the counter that he was behind, saying that he would still be in the building if he really was calling him a liar and wanted to stop him, then dashed towards the three pokemon. As he ran their way he strapped on his backpack to his back, which also had his two swords strapped, the weapons he used to back up his arrogance. They were already in a room when he caught up to them, but fortunately the door was open.
"I think this would be a good time to explain our motives. Or maybe just say a bit about ourselves and where we come from." Axel heard the Meowth say as he laid his back against the door frame, his feet pressed against the frame opposite the one he was leaning on.
"Well, if you must know, I am the great Axel Rover, hailing from Symphonia, the land of the brave!" Axel shouted his answer, making sure that everyone in the room could hear him from the door. "By the way, I hope you guys don't mind an extra member to the team, heh," he gave a devious smile. Then again, with the pair of teeth he had, every one of his smiles looked devious. He really did want to fit in with this group, so he hoped that his odd yet friendly approach wouldn't scare them off.
OOC: Sorry for the long post. All of my intros are this long, or well, most of them. Anyway, I hope you liked the way I tried to fit in. If you don't then hey, blame the character not me! lol.
