Artemis had nodded approvingly at the slight paranoid move of trapping the drain with that bowl. She had no idea what the chances were that another pokemon like the little bubble spider would enter through those pipes, or where the pipes lead for that matter, but she didn't want to risk it either. She also felt a small feeling of warmth forming in her chest as Lizzy silently grabbed the extra blankets and graciously gave up the bed for the floor. She was fast asleep within minutes and Artemis found herself smilling at the sight of the fearful girl now cuddled with a pokemon that had pretty much claimed her as its human.
But she found herself unable to sleep just yet. Out of respect for her now sleeping roommate, she was quick to unfurl and set up the sleeping bag on the bed, so she could make as little sound as possible when she would finally go to sleep. She allowed only the small lantern that was handy to shine for her and in a way that would shed as little light on Lizzy's eyes as possible, before picking up the book and taking a look at its contents. It now had the entries for the weird Exeguttor they had encountered, the little spider pokemon and the small dog pokemon that had helped her out and had disappeared somewhere to lick its wounds. She would have to keep a close look on that book. It updated much like a pokedex but she didn't even have to scan the pokemon or fight it like in the anime or the games.
Reading all of the information the book was able to provide her with, which wasn't very much considering it said nothing of the pokemons' abilities, personality tendencies for the most part, her eyes began to close. She limped over to the bed and wrapped herself in the sleeping bag as quietly as possible. She slept like a log after waking up by her ankle killing her from the pain of being squished awkwardly as she turned. But after figuring she just had to carefully turn or not move at all, she was able to get a decent sleep.
She was the first one to wake up that morning. The sun was already out, but it wasn't high enough to be too late in the morning. Her watch was pretty much useless in the sense that she had missed sunrise and couldn't possibly know if the 8AM it indicated was accurate or not. She took a brief look at Lizzy before sitting on the bed and testing her ankle a little. A small hiss escaped her. Yup. She was definitely going to need that crutch of hers today for sure. Sighing, she allowed herself to plop back on the bed. She was not ready to get out and face their crazy reality just yet.
So she just laid there, planning their next move. They would still have to climb back up and see if they could discover their location on the Region Map. It was really important. They still had some berries for breakfast and a lot of dried food according to Lizzy. A vehicle that needed checking and, now that it was morning and had plenty of daylight ahead of them, it would be a good time for looking for potential roads for said vehicle. If they could find a road they could find a boat, or a small haven for a boat that could've transported that vehicle there. She really hoped it wasn't dropped there by helicopter.
With her foot like that, Artemis knew she could go too far away from the cabin. She would have to do 'chores' but she also didn't trust Lizzy going out there on her own, what with her whole fear of animals and pokemons. She wouldn't forgive herself if the girl had a panic attack all alone and got hurt or worse. Of course they would have to discuss the whole thing together, but Artemis had a pretty good idea about what the girl's opinion would be.
She didn't know how much time she spend listening to the sounds of the island waking up and staring at the ceiling until finally, the little spider began to rustle in the blanket fort.
