    Theralune has long been a nation of relative peace. Civil war, rebellion, and crime plague its past, as for any nation, but no great calamities have tarnished its history. However, rumors have been spreading of curious experiments taking place on the northern island of Komiir, home of the ever-tinkering gnomes. They say they've been experimenting with genetic mutations in pokemon, working to create a powerful force to aid in the advancement of Theralune. Unfortunately, the gnomes were not prepared to control what they created and now, word spreads of a mighty beasts ravaging the lands, growing, feeding, and reproducing. It is not yet known what this creature is, but the king of the gnomes has summoned the greatest heroes from across the lands to combine their efforts into tracking it down, and defeating it. There's loot in it for all, but more than that, the threat, if left unmanaged, could mean destruction for all.

    In an adventure of pokemon, high fantasy, and table-top feels, you and your team will work together to stop this mutated beast from overrunning the lands. Play as an elf, a dwarf, a human, or a gnome, and venture out into a world filled with pokemon to track down the mutant and talk some sense into the pesky, meddling royal gnome tinkerers. This isn't a gym-based story, nor is it a classic ten-year-old-on-a-journey tale. No, this is a grand, fantasic adventure. Our story begins, in a tavern, as all the best do.

    Combat is based on a simple level system explained below:
    • Common pokemon can level up to level 10.
    • Rare pokemon can level up to level 15
    • Legendaries can level up to level 20
    • Type advantages add +2 levels to any pokemon, for that battle
    • Type disadvantages remove -2 levels from any pokemon for that battle
    Any pokemon can enter into a battle with a pokemon up to 1 level above it, once all calculations have been done. There are three tiers of battle: easy, medium, and hard. This will be explained using a lvl 5 fire type.
    • Easy: Pokemon BELOW your pokemon's level (ex: =/<4, with advantage, =/<6)
    • Medium: Pokemon at an EQUAL level to your pokemon's (ex: =5, with advantage =7)
    • Hard: Pokemon ONE LEVEL ABOVE your pokemon's. (ex: =/>6, with advantage, =/>8)
    In each battle, the difficulty will indicate which roll you need to be successful. Required rolls are as follows:
    • Easy: =/>5 on d20
    • Medium: =/> 10 on d20
    • Hard: =/>15 on d20
    To go after pokemon of higher levels, such as legendaries, you will need to utilize a teamwork method called "Stacking." This means you utilize numerous pokemon of the same level to gain additional levels for each. For example:
    • Facing a level 15 Legendary with a level 10, no advantage.
      • For each additional level 10, each pokemon gains 1 extra level
      • 1 x lvl 10 + 3 x lvl 10 = +3 levels to each = 4 x lvl 14 pokemon (DOABLE!)
    If numerous players take part in a battle, a loot roll will determine who the pokemon decides to trust. The loot roll will only be preformed by GM's.

    At the beginning of the roleplay, each player may bring with them up to two pokemon. All additional pokemon will be kept at home and may be transferred whenever they so choose, but these transferred pokemon are subject to travel time, leaving the player with a one pokemon deficit for the time of the exchange. As they advance as rangers, players maximum party size will increase.

    Pokemon have up to three evolutions. Those with only two are considered "common pokemon" and evolve at level 5. Pokemon with three evolutions are considered rare pokemon and they evolve at levels 5 and 10. Legendary pokemon do not evolve.
    Common: Max lvl: 10, evolves at lvl 5
    Rare: Max lvl: 15, evolves at lvl 5 and lvl 10
    Legendary: Max lvl: 20, does not evolve


    RANGER ABILITY
    Ranger ability determines the capability of each player as a companion to the pokemon. A ranger with a low ability level won't be trusted or seen as worthy by higher level pokemon. Ranger ability is increased throughout the roleplay via "Ranger Ability Events" which allow the potential of the ranger to increase. If a ranger has a pokemon companion trying to level, the level will be held dormant until the ranger can increase his or her ability. This means that if you cannot increase your ranger ability, you will not lose pokemon levels.

    Each pokemon will begin with FOUR moves in their moveset. At level 5, they gain an additional move, and continue to do so until their peak level, with the exception of gaining two moves at levels 10, 15, and 20.

    SKILLS
    There are three tiers of skills. Rangers start with 5 spendable perk points and may purchase a either a skill or a skill tier with each. Tier one success rolls are =/<15. Tier two success rolls are =/<10. Tier three success rolls are =/<5.
    • Acrobatics: Used for defending against obstacles, avoiding things, doing tricks for gold, etc.
    • Appraise: Used for making judgement calls in haggling situations or when looting.
    • Bluff: Used for lying, whenever you may feel the need. (GM's may ask for a different roll than the basic tier roll based on the NPC situation.)
    • Climb: Used for climbing trees, walls, etc.
    • Craft: Used for creating anything from poke poffins to leather working. Please specify one of the following: Tailoring, cooking, carpentry, smithing, potion making, other.
    • Diplomacy: When lying doesn't work, you can use your diplomatic skills to navigate tricky situations.
    • Pokediplomacy: Because sometimes you have to convince a pokemon, instead of a person.
    • Disable Device: Used for disabling traps.
    • Disguise: Visual lying, can also be used to disguise one's pokemon.
    • Escape Artist: Used for slipping out of ropes, chains, cages, or holds.
    • Fly: Used for flying on a pokemon.
    • Heal: Used for applying healing processes on oneself or others. Note: Tier one is basic, flesh wounds. Tier two is muscle and bone. Tier three is nervous tissue + rapid healing boost to the first two tiers.
    • Intimidate: When lying and talking your way out of things doesn't work, result to bullying to get what you need.

    Rare Pokemon Incense [150G]: If you light this incense, its scent will lure rare type pokemon to the area. Be prepared for an encounter! Some are stronger than others.
    Glittering Pendant [800G]: The luck instilled in this pendant by a specific legendary, wish-maker pokemon, grants the wearer +2 on any skill check roll. It lasts about 15 rolls.​

Kira stands short at a singular inch above three foot with a petite build. The soft flesh that spreads across her build is a light, but warm natural ivory. She has short pale golden strands of hair that falls in gentle waves, cut in A-line. Her eyes are big and blue and seem to have a constant sparkle to them that almost defines the concept behind the term "puppy eyes."

Kira has always been the type that someone can depend on. She always tries her best and always takes responsibility for her mistakes and faults. Sometimes, she even takes responsibility for mistakes that are not her own.

Caring/Sweet
The gnome hates to see anyone hurt and has a big heart that opens up to almost anyone. She hates to see other's hurt. Kira always goes the extra mile and seems to take kindness almost too far. She pays attention to little details and always does her best to cheer those around her up.

Friendly
While not the most talkative perhaps, she has an easy time communicating with those around her. The blonde isn't shy and has an easy time inviting others in on the fun. She never judges a book by its cover and always believes the best of someone until they prove her wrong.

Helpful
The blonde dosen't like to idle for long and loves to be helpful. She loves being a part of the big picture and making everyone's lives easier.

Temperamental
Don't cal her short. Or step on her. Or bully her friends. For all the sweetness she emits, she's a firecracker with a short fuse.


BRIEF HISTORY:
Kira is the niece to one of the gnomes responsible for the current fiasco, she was also her uncles part time lab assistant (or one of them anyways). Although her uncle, and many of the other tinkerer's cant seem to tear themselves away from their labs, Kira feels obliged to at least try and contain the mutated creatures.

Kira was born in Varadell, on the south west coast of Komiir. She had two sisters and two brothers. The oldest of the five was name Karina and the youngest was Kylie. The two boys were on each side of Kira in age, the older being Liam, and the younger being Logan. They grew up in a small town, her parents were the resident doctor and pokenurse. Kira grew up bouncing between the two clinics and picking up how to be an assistant as well as basic first aid. She attended the public school with the rest of children her age and seemed to excel in academics.

When she was 14, her uncle offered to let her move in with him after their little house began to get too small for the five children. Kira, who seemed to have a natural talent for absorbing and information, leapt at the offer and moved to the big city of Tartyri.

While in Tartyri, Kira finished her basic schooling. However, because of her academic talent she was able to begin advanced education while she went through high school. During the year she turned 17, her uncle began paying her to be an assistant at the lab he and his colleagues worked at, where she picked up just as much knowledge as she did during her classes.

Kira is little, and petite. A human could probably kick her a good distance if they could bring themselves to do it. She's also short, sometimes she just needs a boost to get anything done.

Although intelligent, Kira can be a little naive when it comes to others intentions, she always believes the best in everyone. However not everyone is good.

HOMETOWN:Lives on the border of Feldren in Conotru. The town has a small fight over weither the town should be primarily electric or fire Pokemon small outbursts can be
heard kinda commonly but unable to decide over it the town leaders decide that it will remain welcome to all and and every type of Pokemon type. The town people
still fight over which side is better to this day.

BRIEF HISTORY: Born and raised in the town of Conotru he never really cared about the feud going on between towns people he decided to remain neutral and take one of each one Electric and one Fire type to keep people out of his hair. He received his Electric Pokemon when he went out on a trip to gather some more firewood for the upcoming winter. The Elekid was trapped underneath a large fallen log, once he realized the log had caused severe injury to the Pokemon he rushed him to his mother for assistance. It took long months before Zaptor was fully in a healthy stat. But he did not want to leave due to the bond they both had formed for each other and so he stayed and became zek's first Pokemon.
His Fire Pokemon that he captured with the help of Zaptor, was a growlithe. He named it Rusher for his rough playfulness. late in one of the summer afternoons when zek and zaptor were off on a run for there mother. They had to travel to one of the gardens a little south out of town to gather certain flowers to help made a potion. On there way returning from the gardens, they heard a sound of painful yelling out for help. When they finally made it to the source of the noise they found rusher. Swarmed on by a group of-
His mother was the healer of the village. Loved by all, helps care for all of the inhabitants of the medium sized village Pokemon and People. Has practiced and learned medicine since she was the age of about 13. She has gained these skills from her mother who was the original medic of the village. Being the only child of his family his mother felt it was needed that he carry on the tradition of the "healing touch" as it has been passed on as.

WEAKNESSES: When confronted with questions he usually tries to keep his opinions out of it and stays straight forward with the truth. He can tell left from right but when it comes to directions and remembering where to go, he has very little clue on how to navigate the land. Mainly due to his lack of travels out of his village.

That image needs to be resized. Wayyyy to big.

And I'm going to have to ask for you to go through and edit your own writing. There are too many instances of missing punctuation, improper formatting, and misspelled words. Not sure if this is because of an issue on your keyboard/the system you're using to post? But you need to make sure you are using spaces where they are necessary, periods and commas, etc. You also need to be able to correct the majority of your spelling mistakes. I expect no more than 2-3 misspelled words in a post and there are about, Basic grammar and punctuation is a requirement for any roleplay of mine. I'm sure mowkie will agree.

I also need you to develop his background a bit more because it has zero mention of how he learned healing? Over all I would appreciate a little more effort into the CS :) Just take your time, fill in more details about how he grew up, how he learned his skills, and try and develop his strengths and weaknesses section a little more, or at least be able to elaborate on what, in his past, led to the different traits you've listed. PM me or Mowkie if you need any help with this! Very interesting town concept, it reminds me of a pokemon episode :P
