My request for this challenge is a nonet styled poem about a waterfall. Waterfalls are magnificent cascades that fall from unimaginable heights. One of the most beautiful sights in nature! We're all familiar with that, though, I'm sure. What you're probably wondering is, "What in the world is a nonent?!" Well, I am here to tell you:

A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line
seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with one syllable. It can be on any subject and
rhyming is optional.

line 1 - 9 syllables
line 2 - 8 syllables
line 3 - 7 syllables
line 4 - 6 syllables
line 5 - 5 syllables
line 6 - 4 syllables
line 7 - 3 syllables
line 8 - 2 syllables
line 9 - 1 syllable

The above information is from Shadow Poetry. And, I encourage you to make the poem(s) look pretty with bbcodes. Don't hesitate to ask any questions!

We Live, Water Falls

Delicate ripples cascade down as

Rounded rocks roll round and around.
Silver fish swim swift up stream
Through grass grown ever green.
A man on a log
Spies a lone frog
As water
Flows and
Falls.

Water Falls

A ribbon of crystal blue cascades
Along the rocky mountain side
Crashing in a gentle mist
Of cool lingering white
Crystal clear water
A sweet whisper
Soft and hush
Water
Falls.

The crashing waters spill over rocks,
And they dash onto their sharp edge.
Cold mist rises from the ground,
Coating the grass with dew.
The sound is deafening,
As it rushes.
I rejoice,
Then I,
Breathe.

Thundering sounds of rushing water
Drowning out the songs of the birds
Billowing mist rises up
Where falling water meets
Tranquil waters deep
Rainbows shining
In the mist
Splendor
