Genres
I'm open to a wide range of genres. Obscenely wide. It's harder for me to list all I do like than all I don't like.

My favorite settings are fantasy combined with something else, multiverse, post-apoc, historical (mixed with something else), and futuristic. I'm not limited to those, but it's a good start.

My favorite genres include mystery, adventure, action, drama, tragedy (must be mixed with something else and kept balanced), romance (again must be mixed, and more.

I'm happy to include elements of slice-of-life and romance, but doing them on their own doesn't hold my interest indefinitely.
Everyone loves plotting! Plotting is a fabulous way to find new ideas, breathe new life into old ones, and otherwise just have a really good time.

I'm going to throw three basic plots (in various formats) a week, and users are welcome to post their takes and what they'd do with any given plot.

  1. Punk x Librarian
  2. Mistaken for Pregnant
  3. A plot that explores the difference between young lust and mature romance.

  1. Punk x Librarian
[spoili]A librarian wakes up to find a stranger with green hair on her bed. He's there until noon, and then wakes up and starts to raid her fridge while she just watches in shock for a few moments before asking where he came from. He stares, then grins and says he'll pay her back for what he eats, he just got kicked out of his boyfriend's place and drunkenly crawled there or something. He later runs into her again at the library, and both end up accidentally causing a scene in shock, and accidentally cause the misunderstanding that they're dating.

They decide eventually to try it, since he's a regular to the library lately...[/spoili]
  2. Mistaken for Pregnant
[spoili]After sleeping with a girl from the local sorority, a frat boy starts hearing about how she's recently been getting sick every morning and gaining weight. He immediately starts to diet, work out, and quit drinking. What happens when he approaches her to tell her he's going to take responsibility?[/spoili]
  3. A plot that explores the difference between young lust and mature romance.
[spoili]When she's young, she's attracted to buff and attractive guys. As she grows older, she starts feeling a strange fondness for a man who's shorter than she is, walks with a limp, and lives in pain, but still holds the door for her at the grocery store.[/spoili]
