Genres
I'm open to a wide range of genres. Obscenely wide. It's harder for me to list all I do like than all I don't like.

My favorite settings are fantasy combined with something else, multiverse, post-apoc, historical (mixed with something else), and futuristic. I'm not limited to those, but it's a good start.

My favorite genres include mystery, adventure, action, drama, tragedy (must be mixed with something else and kept balanced), romance (again must be mixed, and more.

I'm happy to include elements of slice-of-life and romance, but doing them on their own doesn't hold my interest indefinitely.
Everyone loves plotting! Plotting is a fabulous way to find new ideas, breathe new life into old ones, and otherwise just have a really good time.

I'm going to throw three basic plot ideas (in various formats) a week, and users are welcome to post their takes, their interpretations, and what they'd do with any given plot. Participants can use the inspiration and prompts however they wish!

This is primarily an exercise in how to make use of inspiration even when you maybe aren't 'feeling it'.

(I'm not sure how to do this so I'll just tell a premise that includes all that you've said ^-^; )

It's year 1250. A lower-cast mage known as Melkior hears of the rumors of an occurrence of old. Some madmen in the street talking about 2000 years ago demons rose from the ground and destroyed the city of Galundriel, which is currently in ruins. Melkior is interested in this, and decides to go and investigate the ruins. But in his path something is stolen from him. When he catches the thief and recovers his item, the thief, which introduces herself as Velaz decides to follow the mage in hopes of finding an adventure, and loot.

When they reach Galundriel, they see something written on the walls. Something that was not cataloged. "An over-indulgence of anything, even something as pure as water, can intoxicate." And are then taken back 2,001 years.

Don't worry about sticking too closely to what's in the first post. This is just an exercise meant to get people thinking about plots, and maybe help jump-start their minds into discovering new plots lurking inside them. ♥

I'm glad you posted, and I think your premise is awesome! I also really like just how you incorporated everything!
