A picture is worth a thousand words, as is often quoted.

How does the picture below speak to you? Perhaps as a poem? Perhaps a roleplay idea? Maybe a story?

Whatever comes to your mind, write those words down! All is well and welcome, whether a couple of sentences or more!

OH MY GOODNESS! this is soo cute!...ahem...anyway))

Archer Adaren had been given the 'privilege' of escorting the daughter of King Nikos during his diplomatic stay in Ketterfield. He hadn't been asked, and hadn't offered knowing her reputation, but still here he was attempting to show the princess the highlights of their ever growing city. The problem with such an endeavor was that the woman had the attention span of a flea at a dog race. He had not finished one description of any wonder in their city before she was rushing off to see the next thing. He was exasperated, on edge and frankly about to tire her to a chair to keep her in one place for five seconds together.

Jedari could tell this man was not enjoying her company and it bothered her. She was over- analyzing herself again and unable to keep still. Finally unable to think of anything else to do she just strolled right up to him and bit him on the nose.

Archer blinked, completely dumbfounded and confused. "Ow..."

Jedari leaned back and looked at him. "Did I do something before that to make you mad?"

"What?" he asked as he rubbed his nose, "Of course not."

"Then why are you angry?"

"I'm not."

"Oh YES...you are."

He started to say he wasn't but he closed his mouth and looked at her. "Fine. I am. I did not want to be the one to escort you around town. But since I am, I will say it annoys me greatly that you will not listen to anything I am saying..."

Her hands moved from being folded behind her back to being fisted on her hips in indignation. "Why?"

"Why would I want you to listen to what I am saying? maybe because you would gain some appreciation for the city and the culture here."

"No." She said glaring at him now, "Why did you not want to show me the city in the first place. And if you did not wish to do so, why would you care if I listened to you wax eloquent about it?"

She had a good point there, he admitted to himself reluctantly. She was very attractive at the moment being all indignant and affronted and he smiled in spite of himself.

"Oh...Now I'm funny?"

He chuckled then and a soft purring sound was heard through it, "Not at all. You make excellent points. I was smiling at how cute you look trying to be angry. It does not suit you."

Her brow raised and her hands flew up in the air. "For the love of Father Felix..."

He was now entirely engaged in the conversation, "To answer your question, Princess Jedari...Forgive me, but you have something of a reputation for causing problems for those who escort you. I have been fighting my way through hip deep political dung to get where I am, and I did not want to risk losing the hard fought ground I have gained." He watched her for her reaction, and figured he had nothing to lose by being honest.

Jedari blinked, "I have a reputaion? For what?" her mind raced about trying to discover what he meant.

Seeing her confusion he lifted a brow, "You are not aware that every man who has escorted you in the last three cities you've visited has ended in jail? Having been accused of assaulting you, or insulting you, or stealing from you respectively."

Her eyes grew wide, "No one has done any of those things. In fact they were the most boring days of my life until today."

He winced, "I deserved that."

"You did."

They both laughed as he motioned for them to continue walking, "May we begin again?" he asked.

"Please let's...I was about to have a nervous breakdown."

"Oh NO!! Please don't do that...will food help? My favorite restaurant is just there across the square."

She smiled and leaned close enough to bite his nose again but did not, "It will possibly...possibly keep me from biting you again."
