PLOT CHALLENGE

Plot challenges are designed to help you think quick and be inspired. We often play this game in the cbox, shouting out random words or phrases and see what ideas first pop in to people's heads.

To Participate: THINK FAST. Don't waste any time. The first idea(s) that comes to mind, write it down and post it!

NOTE: If you decide to borrow someone's concept for a roleplay, make sure you give credit.

Challenge Phrase:
Experimentally Yours

A desperate loner wishes for a girlfriend, but is unable to get one. At the end of his rope, he decides to construct his own robotic girlfriend, who proceeds to become so attached to him that it starts destroying anything that comes between it and him. This is complicated by the presence of a girl who likes this poor loser, and wants to be his girlfriend as well.

For the sake of social sciences, 3 male and 3 female scientists go on a shared wedding trip with people they've never met, things turn sour as the ship they were on strands and they are some of the few survivors. On a deserted island, things get awkward fast, will the experiment be a success or failures?

Mine if anything would just be about the morality of robot girls, perhaps as one develops her own personality-which will be overwritten if she has sex. And that is a manga plot and the only thing I can think of.

I imagine this as a yaoi, but it could be used any way you choose.

The two smartest kids in class usually square off when it comes to the school's annual science fair and every year it would end in disaster. One or the other would always go just a little too far with his/her experiment. So this year, it's been made clear that they are to work together on a project. The vice principal was so sure that this solution would be safer for everyone at the fair! But two mad scientists are worse than one! Together, they decided on a particularly advanced experiment that would allow the human being to find their soulmate; their one true love! "This potion, when taken, will generate a ghost-like chain leading from you to your soulmate." Well...that was how it was supposed to work. The chain connecting the two was actually solid AND visible! But only to them. Not to mention it wasn't a very long chain either. Things get even more crazy when one of the 'mad scientists' tests the potion and the 'love chain' ends up attached to his/her partner!

And that's Dawn's dumb idea for the day 8D

A blind date, set up by friends of both participants had gone so well, that the friends decided to play matchmaker for a bigger scale in their city, a website by the name of Experimentallyyours.com will do what it can to set you up with a perfect blind date with someone you might have never picked. These friends profit for now, but what happens when a lawsuit is filed?

One day, Amelia was on a stroll through the Forests of Kokira. Suddenly, she's attacked and kidnapped by a horrid creature forged with flesh and blood. When she awakens, she is on a lab table, completely at the will of a mad scientist. The mad scientist, Andrew Belle, performs several experiments on her while she is there. He finds himself falling in love with her strength and determination. Never does she give in to the reality of her situation, her inevitable demise. He lets his guard down, granting her a bit of freedom. His heart is beating for her, and aching because of what he has done. Now she is partly cybernetic, and her strength will grant her an easy escape. However, when Andrew simply opens the door and allows her to leave, will she take the chance?

Or has she fallen in love with the mad scientist that has scarred her existence as well?

A mother willingly gives up herself and her child to a scientist to experiment on (the father wasn't connected to the family and left). The scientist happens to fall in love with the mother and year-old child, and he regrets some of his experimental actions. He tries to reverse some effects of his test, but only makes matters worse, until the child dies. The mother is outraged and tells the scientist that she hates him. He is heartbroken and lets her go off to do what she wishes.
However, some unexpected side effects of an experiment (one that enhances the body) are dangerous, and now her normal life is threatened. The scientist tracks her down, still with affectionate feelings toward her, and finds her with another man.
He tries to heal her. It works. But now this lady is split between two men.
The scientist pleads that his murder (which was kept secret, just like the experiments themselves) and experiments were during the ignorance and stupidity of his younger days, and that he's different now.
The new man says that she shouldn't trust the scientist, and that he's better.
Either choice will leave someone heartbroken and most likely plotting revenge.
