Standing at 6'1, Eric can be considered tall for his age. He has dashing, ice-blue eyes with short, ash brown hair. He is surprisingly toned for someone in his profession. Eric's arms, legs, and midsection are all very lean and muscular.

Eric is pretty down to earth, but hides this under his serious exterior when working. He is very charming, kind, intelligent and loyal to his friends; however, most people can't see this due to the fact that he hides it under a sarcastic, witty, and narcissistic persona. In reality, he is a good man at heart, and will show this when it really matters.

As a young boy, Eric was often picked on and bullied by his peers. He had no friends growing up, which caused him to become introverted and independent. His mom was always busy with her career, and he lost his father and younger sister, years earlier, in a car accident. When the gods were toppled, he lost contact with his mother in all the chaos. To this day, Eric has no knowledge on the whereabouts of his mother.

Her mother died giving birth to Rose's brother, who died the following year from influenza. Her father moved from their trailer in Arizona to NYC where he opened a bar. It was from him the Rose learned most of her values and "tricks." He mysteriously disappeared one day when she was 12, and she was raised by a family friend who also took over the bar until she was 18, when she left the bar to find herself. To this day all she knows about the gods and ancestors are the stories her father used to tell her at night, which she believes to be fiction (except that she is 3/4 Anasazi)
