Skin Texture
Sonar – The ability to create & manipulate sound and sound waves. Holly can create and modify sound waves to mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well as the warp, strengthen, echo, speed up, and slow down the sound. She can affect music as well as produce it. Create and modify the loudness, pitch, and tone of sounds, even to destructive levels:

Limitations
§ Everything that affects normal sound effects this ability as well; this might be overcome with enough training, but she's not there yet. Vacuum or anything that stops sound prevents this power. Plus, due to her little pet, her ears are so overly sensitive to sound, that overusing her own abilities causes seriously debilitating migraines that can knock her out for hours and leave her ears ringing profusely. With training, this can be eliminated.

Skills: Well, besides the ability to breathe water, scream at high frequencies (under and above water), and communicating & understanding of aquatic creatures...

Xenolinquist – Mutated tongue; forked and shaped like an hour-glass. It gives her the insane ability to speak any language like a native or mimic any sound she hears. She doesn't have the ability to mentally help others understand what language she speaks if one is unfamiliar with it; but with the assistance of a Mentalist, she can clearly be understood. Unfortunately, due to her little pet, she'll have tendencies to just blurt out anything that pops into her head - in a different language.

Her continuously developing mutation has also created a very deadly situation for her. Growing ever so slowly around her spinal cord at the base of her skull is a special little pet. More like a tumor actually, but she's not going to claim it as anything unfortunate. It enhances her mental recognition of what she hears, giving her abilities to literally mimic noises, people's speech patterns, and accents, animal sounds, perfectly; as well as understand what she says and their response. It's like enhancing her Voice Manipulation and Xenolinquist abilities at the same time.

Unfortunately, this darling little bugger is a demanding creature though, causing her severe headaches at times if it's not fed. She has to maintain a proper diet and remain hydrated at all times to avoid the headaches, drinking high concentrations of electrolytes and other vitamins in order to keep the feisty tumor from eating at her grey matter and sipping on her spinal fluid. Unfortunately, there's another little delicacy it prefers to feast off of, which she hates entirely but has overcome by adding chocolate or eating it with ice cream.



Her pet can be removed, but the fear of such a procedure scares her to no end… She's unsure if the removal of the tumor will snatch away her abilities, which she's quite fond of and would hate to lose, let alone turning her into a veggie. It's either living with it or dying from it – no middle ground for her. One thing is for sure, the more it grows – the stronger she gets - the quicker it'll kill her. Therefore, she's damned all around. (There's probably a way to kill the tumor, but she had no clue as to how.)

History:
Helaine (Holly) was born in Nea Makri, near Marathon, Greece. She's the youngest of three, an older sister, Elahnie, and middle brother, Josef. Her father, Anthimo, is a marketing analyst for a major medical manufacturing company, and her mother, Olivia, is an online college instructor of music and art history.

Growing up was a fun task for her, for she and her siblings took everything in life like it was a tale from a beautiful storybook. They made even the dullest task more like a fantasy story of adventure and magic. It's easy to do that growing up with an ocean for a backyard. Even to this day, she swears she had swum with a mermaid around the shallow underwater ruins within the Mediterranean beaches around her home. This, she and her sister believe, is when she's obtained her abilities. They believe she was blessed by a real mermaid.

    Been competing in fencing collegially for six years. Her psychiatrist recommended the sport to her to help her fight against her fear of knives - becoming a threat with one in her control, rather than being a victim under its tip.

    Brief History:
    Born in Southway Hold, Providence; Port Au Prince, Haiti. She lived with her mother, Seganna, who was the village Rada Mambo. Her estranged father, a rather disagreeable Petro Houngan, did not leave the province on good terms during his short stay there. Lithy hoped to avoid that negative legacy for the better.

    One thing she was thrilled about leaving Haiti; she'd be safer somewhere else. Suffers from PTSD, after a number of kidnappings throughout her childhood, she had lived in constant fear for her life. In Haiti, Albinos are considered either good luck charms or living demons. Therefore, she almost lost fingers, an arm, an ear for someone's good luck, and she was almost murdered several times - to extinguish the supposed demons within. Many of these close-calls were due to her father's influence over a certain group of people.

    Because of those close-calls, Lithy will go into full defense mode if spooked. She's slowly recovering from this since she's lived away from the island for so long, and was able to receive mental and medical attention. But time will tell if she'll ever break completely out of her paranoia.

    Living in America had given her the freedom to live away from her fearful life. But now, the sudden feeling of loss, as if missing a vital limb, and the constant pulling and shifting that had caused her to lose focus on what's before her; she's started to believe something else was wrong with her. But... she's always felt like this, even as a young girl in Haiti. Just, not as harsh as it feels now. It was when her friend, Jasper, helped her connected to a club she's been a part of, The Soul Coalition, that she learned that she was missing her better part all this time... Unfortunately, she's unsure of who that might be.

    Meric stands at being around five feet ten inches, with an elegant body structure; narrow waist, long torso, lengthy legs and lean, yet proportioned, muscles. He could be described as sleek or even dainty in appearance. These days he's allowed it to grow out for him to sport a gentleman's ponytail.

    Usually, his attire consists of denim, straight-legged jeans, sweaters, button-up shirts or polos and turtle-neck. Very European, vintage at times, and clean. And, if you're lucky, you might spot him wearing a pair of reading glasses.

    Marks/Tattoos/Piercings: He also carries a history of scars upon his torso, back and one under his left eye - reminders from an old frienemy that there is no such thing as an existence where love is real. He's utilized Vitamin E and Aloe Vera to breakdown the scar tissue, so they are practically invisible. When he's bare-chested on stage, he has to use stage makeup to cover a few of them that are still visible enough to be seen.

    Personality: Fun-loving, trickster, flirty at times, cautious, defensive of his friends. Charming; yet, detached and clever; he had to be to avoid being hurt. His intelligence surpasses common sense, which can either make him seem far too innocent, or just downright absentminded. Neither one is correct – he's just far too book-smart for his own good. Getting out more, making friends with a bone rather than metal, keeping his head out of the gears of robots and into the trends that fuel human nature and interaction – that's what his parents hope will happen to him; fearing he's turning into the lifeless robots he creates.

    Strengths: A definite strength would be that he has an uncanny ability to remember things; numbers, maps, people, faces, names, entire books, anything. Not just short term memory, everything seems to lodge itself straight into his long-term, working memory. And he remembers right down to each and every small detail; very intelligent.

    And he's a Tinker, a MacGyver of sorts. Meric can take common household items, a few metal pieces, and some crazy glue and fix a laptop or build a radar detector. Hell, you know what I mean! But, that's not so farfetched for him.

    Weaknesses: Being smart in so many ways doesn't help when it comes to understanding people's emotions, and culture. Meric's not very street-smart, and his fear of getting hurt again keeps him somewhat emotionally isolated from others to the point where he's become ignorant of understanding people in general. He'll flirt from time to time, and can be super social. But if he feels more of a connection begin, for some reason, he instantly throws a wall between everyone and becomes anti-everybody.

    Likes: Besides his love of dance, music, and magic, Meric loves soccer, swimming, and diving. He enjoys watercolors (but he's a horrible painter), and he likes to cook but he's no chef. Golf, illusions, reading countless books, playing trivia games, robotics.

    A sudden feeling of devastating loss, as if missing a vital limb, and the constant pulling and shifting that causes him to lose focus on what's before him. This pull can physically make him sick, cause headaches, vertigo, and have put him in the hospital a few times due to some of his symptoms were consistent with having a heart attack or stroke. This unknown issue started recently and he's unsure exactly when or why, but it's starting to cause problems for his dance career and slowing all other progress down.

    Brief History:
    Meric was born in Stavanger, Norway. His father Sir. Goran Donovan, is a fairly known Scandinavian ballet dancer, and his mother, Jasna Covehaven-Donovan, a German Chemist and a classical harp player. So, Meric was born with science and art in his blood. His parents' talents eventually moved them to America when Meric was at the age of 11. They've lived in Boston ever since.

    High school in America was socially difficult for him, but he did make friends with Malcolm, who was on the school's varsity swim and soccer teams. Because of him, Meric became a trainer for the soccer teams (because he loves the sport but sucks at it). He did, however, sign up to the swim team as a diver, and made a major name for himself. All of that, along with his European charm, and being in Student Council and National Honors Society, didn't help his popularity vote at all, but it paid for all his college classes with a butt-load of scholarships.

    He was constantly bullied for his love of dance, but Malcolm took care of all of that, becoming his bodyguard and taking him to every cool event - until Juvi took him away. Senior year, before Meric went to college, Malcolm was released from Juvi in hopes to start his new life right. But the idea of Meric moving on to college scared him, for he loved his best friend more than life itself. He wanted to reveal his heart to Meric, hoping he would throw away his ideas of going away for college to finally be with him for good.

    Malcolm planned a crazy going-away party, which ended up sending them to a few more wild parties around town, and lots of drinking. Now Meric's not a drinker, but since it was his last night hanging with his best friend, he just let loose. With Meric totally wasted, Malcolm took the opportunity to express how he felt. When Meric refused him, he claimed Meric for himself regardless. Threatened, fearful, Meric fell into somewhat of a Stockholm situation - believing that, in his mixed-up way, Malcolm actually loved him and this was how he showed it.

    But Meric knew better than that. This love was toxic. Confused with all the twisted lies, pains, and emotions that surrounded him, the loss of his scholarships and direction drove him somewhat mad. He didn't know where to go or what he should do with himself. To stay with Malcolm was, for a lighter word, dangerous! But, conflicted by how his friend made him feel constantly sent him back to square one over and over again.

    An unfortunate accident took Malcolm's life and freed Meric from his shackles. Now, with the stress of that relationship gone, he's been able to focus on getting his life back together. He returned to school and work – and nothing else.

    Presently, he's been working at the University's BioMechanical department as an intern for his Professor, Dr. Tommaso Ranzani. A break-through project dealing with Robotic IndoSkeletal Prosthetics has now taken on a new hope after their third successful trial test. The team is preparing to travel to New York for a Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Mobility Aids Convention to discuss and showcase their new findings, fishing for more funding, and interested future buyers. That's what's been on his mind - the project.


    Extra:
    * Performs magic tricks late nights at Sunlocks, his favorite small Bohemian café and club in downtown Boston, and plays the piano for small events.

They will receive more equipment and opportunities for trial testing and possibly their first human operation. At first, Meric chose to stay in Boston, but after his trip to New York, he'll have a sudden urge to stay. Meric will end up heading to this new engineering team in NYC. The team will reside in a 6- bedroom town-home furnished by their sponsor. He'll still travel between states to continue his training with the Boston Ballet, but eventually, he realizes that he'll have to change his plans. So, he decided to look into transfer to either Parsons Dance or New York Dance Company. He'll have to audition for a position, so his mindset returns to dance in order to prepare. He's stay in New York becomes intended - for obvious reasons.

    To keep introductions to new friends to short and sweet, she just uses her mother's surname of Rosewood, rather than her father's family name of Dulviar or his grandmother's maiden name of Kiepersol. It's a bit confusing, but due to the connection of family wineries these names are historically attached to, it's best for Marietta to hold them all – since, being the only child of this generation, they will one day belong to her.

    Marrose's personality is one that is of extremes: When she is feeling like herself, and everything is going her way, she has an extremely sweet and silly disposition; very kind and friendly. However, when her asthma drains her into a poor state of mind, Marietta is best described as insensitive, distant, dejected, and suicidal. Her strong asthmatic and panic attacks frustrate her, making a very athletic and determined young lady slow and flustered at herself. She is a work-o-holic and a fierce businesswoman who is used to having her way. She doesn't like pity or soft-hearted people treating her like an infant due to her health issues.

    She can be rather stubborn at times, hard-headed, and strong-willed to keep things her way if the other way seems far too uncomfortable or just downright uncalled for. Due to how she's had to manage her life without a proper set of parents, Marrose has drilled herself to be effectively and efficiently independent. Keeping her life in control is not necessary, but it makes her feel secure in her belief that she will not mature into the woman her mother had become – lacking self-sufficiency; always needing an ungrateful man in her life. She's seen two 'step-fathers' grind her mother to hamburger meat, and that's after her millionaire dead-beat father left her rather than working things out. Deep down, regardless of where Marrose's life takes her or what her unknown father does for her, she will never forgive him for abandoning her.

    Hobby: She enjoys photography and hopes to become a photojournalist. Besides photography, she is an excellent swimmer and still loves hiking, but not as much due to her aesthesia. She does love the outdoors, mostly through the lens of her camera. She's also has a fondness for dance. She wanted to train professionally, but due to her handicap, she was told that it will be impossible for her to do so. Such negatives are what drive Marrose to prove other's wrong. But oftentimes it can also drive her to spiral despair.

    History:
    Marietta had missed out on experiencing a stable family life, as far as she knows. Her father, Kaspesin Dulviar-Kiepersol, is the CEO of Dulviar-Kiepersol Wineries. The Kiepersol Wineries of the US, a company of his making, is located originally in Tyler, Texas. Now they span clear across the United States. He's the son of Horacio & Locendia Dulviar, owners of the famous Dulviar Chianti wines of Tuscany, Italy. They still reside in the historical "Abbey of the Good Harvest" (Badia a Coltibuono) in Tuscany.

    Marietta's mother, Marnella Rosewood, is a former dancer at the Boston Ballet. Her career ended suddenly due to a very serious injury that forced her to leave dancing for life. She struggled to try to find a new career because dance was all she knew. Eventually, through good friends, she obtained a job as a secretary for Sweeney Designs, the advertising, and marketing firm that happens to work for Kiepersol Wineries. Marnella slowly worked her way through college as an executive assistant, learning about marketing while on the job. Soon, she was able to work as an entry-level ad designer, and her first project was assisting the design team for Kiepersol Wineries. That's where she met Kaspesin. After five years working there, she was offered the Art Director position, leading a team to reconstruct Kiepersol's visual plans. Her powerhouse marketing concepts help push Kiepersol Wineries towards world-wide potential – right alongside Kaspesin's historical family heritage.

    Kaspesin and Marnella's marriage was not favored by his parents, for regardless of Marnella's family background, they saw her lack of success and poverty in her present life now to be a damaging entity in their son's if he chooses to marry her. They felt she would become an anchor against their son's rising future. Marnella's parents' were thrilled she had found a stable husband – meaning, if she wasn't in it for the money, they were.

    Regardless of the troubles, the two married without their blessings and expanded the Kiepersol Wineries into Kiepersol-Rosewood, but far too soon they felt they were not compatible and separated after Marietta was born. Marietta has never met her father; only heard of his name and seen older pictures of him on the internet. Her mother and family friends have been her only family. She notes them for all of her achievements, not the man who only gave her life – but was never there to teach her about it.

    In her early years, Marietta was constantly in the hospital due to her ill health. Premature at birth with poor lungs, Marrose always struggled to stay afloat, to keep her head above water just to take her next breath. It didn't make simplicity easy for her. School, friends, hanging out always became a life or death situation if something triggered a serious attack, and sometimes her inhaler just wasn't enough. Due to back luck hitting her, a medication mix-up, and depression, she attempted to end her life when she was 13, but her friend Marcello saved her. Regardless of this mistake, she sees it as a second chance and decided not to allow anything to stop her from living her way, trying new things, and succeeding in a few of them.

    She's been living in Italy for about 10 yrs now, learning and running the winery along with finishing high school and starting college.     Personal History:
    Ichika seems very quiet, well-mannered woman, calm and collected; observant, sly, and mischievous. However, the very air around her can quickly turn chaotic if the right trigger is hit. The insane calculations running through her head explains this. She could be sitting down, enjoying a nice cup of coffee; but in actuality, she's planning how to blow up the coffee shop with the appliances inside while sneaking out the backdoor with the cash from the safe, and the owner who owes her boss more than just their earnings from a year of serving java.

    Ichika was born in Nagano, Japan with a somewhat normal household. She lived a preferably boring and quiet life, learning about her world through analytical eyes. She knew she didn't want to become like her mother, a handmaid for a man who only respects her when he felt she deserves it… She didn't want to become a weak woman in the standard of the old traditions they lived. She wanted to become whomever she chose to become – and that could only happen if she left Japan for good.

    So, at fourteen, Ichika entered an exchange program and traveled around the world. After a year of school in France and a year in England, she eventually traveled to an American high school in south-eastern Nevada to finish. While there, she'd learned that her parents had died when Typhoon Hagibis destroyed Japan. With no family members alive to claim her, (if there were any alive they would believe her dead as well), her host-family adopted her. She changed her name to Jenasica, and took on her host-family's last name of Sands, and embraced her new life. She gained new friends and began working on the life she wanted while finished high school early.

    She started college, but in her very first year, she was kidnapped by a random gang who ran a sex trafficking ring with college-age youth. They sold her among a bunch of youth to a drug lord of the Mexican mafia, Los Zetas, where she was forced to live and work. They dressed her up as a Geisha with a Yakuza tattoo down her back, calling her The Untouchable Thousand Flowers. They placed her with a high price on her head – like a Geisha, only the wealthiest could touch her. For half a year that kept her fairly safe from unwanted touch, for there weren't a lot of people out there who could afford her. So, she was safe and utilized her time to taking online classes, teaching herself how to fight, and sneaking around the campus they lived to plan a way out.

    Fortunately, the Zetas were overthrown and killed off by a female mafia group from New Delhi under the gangsta queen, Phoolan Devi. The Devis took the youth in an attempted to help them find a new way of life or a way back home. Since Jena believed, after what she'd been through, her adopted family wouldn't want her, Phoolan's gang accepted her as one of their own. They found out that she had quite an impressive skill set than just her beauty and sex appeal. They began to train her in the art of seduction, spying, illusion, and assassination; knowing that such a combination with her looks could get her into their enemy's territories to aid in their business endeavors.

    Soon, she became a priceless commodity for their leader and secured her place among high-management within the mafia. Unfortunately, that died out quickly when a trip to Italy, and a large boss fight, separated her and a few others from the group. Good thing for Jena, her reputation preceded her – and saved her life. The new gang who now secured her was a smaller hive of a larger Korean mafia known as The Moons, who happened to be collecting their assets in Italy at the time The Devis were there. The Moons offered her a place among them, and she – reluctantly accepted.

    At first, she figured she could secure her safety and then get out as soon as she could to reconnect with The Devis. After all, she's Japanese, not Korean. Even though the old ways of thinking are no longer present in the world, but that unfortunate tattoo on her back easily targets her as a member of an older, once deadly group - one with backward thinking and present enemies. Good thing The Moons understood that was just a persona she was forced to portray. So, instead of running, Jena learned more about how well-organized and established The Moons were and decided to make her mark with them, hoping to regain the respected and feared status she once held among The Devis.     Max was born, in Jaipur, India as Qarin Onkar Nehru-Gandhi, within one of the most powerful political families known. Max naturally absorbed political principles, but later, just as naturally, grew repulsed by the patterns of that arena. His father became frustrated by his only son's hardheadedness and lack of loyalty in refusing to follow the well-planned paths he'd plotted for him. Max received daily beatings, hoping such raw discipline would break him out of falling short of perfection.

    Max obeyed, followed along to avoid the attacks – soon, avoiding being touched by anyone; isolating himself to his personal studies and drugs; anything to hide from his father and the pains of seeing his mother's disappointment. At the age of 13, as soon as he graduated from school and packed up to start his studies and training in the military academy, Max went awol. He joined a bunch of other young boys who were forced to join the academy, and they found their way to Delhi to find jobs and create a life of their own.

    One of his new brothers found a club looking for workers. They were all hired there, which gave them a place to work, and the owners allowed them to live in the apartments upstairs. One night, after cleaning up, Max decided to play with one of the guitars – and the others joined in, picking up random instruments they knew how to play. Not knowing one of the owners was close by they began to play several songs. Max and one of his older play-brother, Nitesh, began to sing. That is how Khoj Arth was born.

    They started to perform in the club asKhoj Arth (Find Meaning) with Max and Nitesh as lead and backup vocals. Eventually, they landed a record deal and began tours. It was a dream-come-true for them all until their fame gave their location away and their parents found them. Luckily, five years had passed and they were all of-age with similar stories of parental abuse. So, to avoid any issues, they were able to live their lives without their abusive parents causing them problems – all except for Max's father. With his political reputation now tarnished with Max's stories of abuse, his father was determined to erase his disrespectful son's lies by any means necessary. His father's desperate need to eliminate his son caused the band to break up after seven years. Death threats towards their families forced this. So, knowing he was the cause, Max chose to leave the band much to his play-brothers' disbelief and frustration. Nitesh left with him, for he didn't want his little brother to hide alone.

    Together, they made their way to England to live with Nitesh's English girlfriend's family until they were able to make their way. Max changed his name and began college, graduating quickly with music and production degrees, and Nitesh studied business management and Cyber Security. Soon, since KA fans still wished for the group's return, Nitesh talked Max into traveling to America with him and his girlfriend, Melissa, knowing he could bring back the return on KA – this time, with an updated sound. Nitesh's plans returned the rest of the band – most of the members were already living in America. They reconnected and began Above Beyond, touring for a while until other personal issues caused the band to separate once more. Friendships still remain.

    Max, Nitesh and Melissa (now married), and two other members of the original band worked together to help promote Max as a solo artist, but Max preferred just to produce and write music for other artists. Therefore, the members worked together on a new project – coffee houses. They created Above Beyond Coffee Houses which brews and sells an assortment of American, English, and Indian brewed beverages – alcohol and non-alcoholic.

One night, after cleaning up, Max decided to play with one of the guitars – and the others joined in, picking up random instruments they knew how to play. Not knowing one of the owners was close by they began to play several songs. Max and one of his older play-brother, Nitesh, began to sing. That is how Khoj Arth was born.

    They started to perform in the club asKhoj Arth (Find Meaning) with Max and Nitesh as lead and backup vocals. Eventually, they landed a record deal and began tours. It was a dream-come-true for them all until their fame gave their location away and their parents found them. Luckily, five years had passed and they were all of-age with similar stories of parental abuse. So, to avoid any issues, they were able to live their lives without their abusive parents causing them problems – all except for Max's father. With his political reputation now tarnished with Max's stories of abuse, his father was determined to erase his disrespectful son's lies by any means necessary. His father's desperate need to eliminate his son caused the band to break up after seven years. Death threats towards their families forced this. So, knowing he was the cause, Max chose to leave the band much to his play-brothers' disbelief and frustration. Nitesh left with him, for he didn't want his little brother to hide alone.

    Together, they made their way to England to live with Nitesh's English girlfriend's family until they were able to make their way. Max changed his name and began college, graduating quickly with music and production degrees, and Nitesh studied business management and Cyber Security. Soon, since KA fans still wished for the group's return, Nitesh talked Max into traveling to America with him and his girlfriend, Melissa, knowing he could bring back the return on KA – this time, with an updated sound. Nitesh's plans returned the rest of the band – most of the members were already living in America. They reconnected and began Above Beyond, touring for a while until other personal issues caused the band to separate once more. Friendships still remain.

    Max, Nitesh and Melissa (now married), and two other members of the original band worked together to help promote Max as a solo artist, but Max preferred just to produce and write music for other artists. Therefore, the members worked together on a new project – coffee houses. They created Above Beyond Coffee Houses which brews and sells an assortment of American, English, and Indian brewed beverages – alcohol and non-alcoholic.

    Personal History:
    Ichika seems very quiet, well-mannered woman, calm and collected; observant, sly, and mischievous. However, the very air around her can quickly turn chaotic if the right trigger is hit. The insane calculations running through her head explains this. She could be sitting down, enjoying a nice cup of coffee; but in actuality, she's planning how to blow up the coffee shop with the appliances inside while sneaking out the backdoor with the cash from the safe, and the owner who owes her boss more than just their earnings from a year of serving java.
    Ichika was born in Nagano, Japan with a somewhat normal household. She lived a preferably boring and quiet life, learning about her world through analytical eyes. She knew she didn't want to become like her mother, a handmaid for a man who only respects her when he felt she deserves it… She didn't want to become a weak woman in the standard of the old traditions they lived. She wanted to become whomever she chose to become – and that could only happen if she left Japan for good.

    So, at fourteen, Ichika entered an exchange program and traveled around the world. After a year of school in France and a year in England, she eventually traveled to an American high school in south-eastern Nevada to finish. While there, she'd learned that her parents had died when Typhoon Hagibis destroyed Japan. With no family members alive to claim her, (if there were any alive they would believe her dead as well), her host-family adopted her. She changed her name to Jenasica, and took on her host-family's last name of Sands, and embraced her new life. She gained new friends and began working on the life she wanted while finished high school early.

    She started college, but in her very first year, she was kidnapped by a random gang who ran a sex trafficking ring with college-age youth. They sold her among a bunch of youth to a drug lord of the Mexican mafia, Los Zetas, where she was forced to live and work. They dressed her up as a Geisha with a Yakuza tattoo down her back, calling her The Untouchable Thousand Flowers. They placed her with a high price on her head – like a Geisha, only the wealthiest could touch her. For half a year that kept her fairly safe from unwanted touch, for there weren't a lot of people out there who could afford her. So, she was safe and utilized her time to taking online classes, teaching herself how to fight, and sneaking around the campus they lived to plan a way out.

    Fortunately, the Zetas were overthrown and killed off by a female mafia group from New Delhi under the gangsta queen, Phoolan Devi. The Devis took the youth in an attempted to help them find a new way of life or a way back home. Since Jena believed, after what she'd been through, her adopted family wouldn't want her, Phoolan's gang accepted her as one of their own. They found out that she had quite an impressive skill set than just her beauty and sex appeal. They began to train her in the art of seduction, spying, illusion, and assassination; knowing that such a combination with her looks could get her into their enemy's territories to aid in their business endeavors.

    Soon, she became a priceless commodity for their leader and secured her place among high-management within the mafia. Unfortunately, that died out quickly when a trip to Italy, and a large boss fight, separated her and a few others from the group. Good thing for Jena, her reputation preceded her – and saved her life. The new gang who now secured her was a smaller hive of a larger Korean mafia known as The Moons, who happened to be collecting their assets in Italy at the time The Devis were there. The Moons offered her a place among them, and she – reluctantly accepted.
    At first, she figured she could secure her safety and then get out as soon as she could to reconnect with The Devis. After all, she's Japanese, not Korean. Even though the old ways of thinking are no longer present in the world, but that unfortunate tattoo on her back easily targets her as a member of an older, once deadly group - one with backward thinking and present enemies. Good thing The Moons understood that was just a persona she was forced to portray. So, instead of running, Jena learned more about how well-organized and established The Moons were and decided to make her mark with them, hoping to regain the respected and feared status she once held among The Devis. She recalled in her travels with the Gandhis that he was their fourth great-grandson from their second son. She even recalled a time or two, meeting the man as a child, then a young teen. Feeling a connection with him then and now, she decided to befriend him and eventually explain a few things to him about who she is, and what she wants him to become. Of course, he didn't believe her, but deep down... he knew she wasn't lying. Those eyes - no one was dumb enough to forget those gems, right? Eventually, he trusted her enough to learn more about her. And soon, a friendship - and a contract - was created.

    Bianka stuck with the guys after college. Since they had dibs on a local nightclub, she was in pure paradise - the nightly excitement generated there was her daily dose of pure energy. And when they began to perform there, Bianka knew she had a goldmine waiting for her to excavate. So, her proposal - she assists the guys with various promotions, marketing, accounting, legal, and any other business needs - as their manager. And all she wanted was to stay close to Qarin. With her aid, she helped Khoj Arth grow into one of the hottest nightclub alternate rock bands in India.

    She's stayed with the group through their ups and downs. When they eventually moved to America, they landed in Florida, of all places. It wasn't ideal for Bianka, but it was the group's choice. Besides, if they didn't move there, she would never have met her new group of friends.

    One of his new brothers found a club looking for workers. They were all hired there, which gave them a place to work, and the owners allowed them to live in the apartments upstairs. They lived and worked there for several years, making enough to start secondary school with financial aid. All of them soon started college around the ages of 18 – 20.

    During Max's 2nd​ year in college, he met a young woman, Bianka Alling, who seemed to know more about him and his family than he did. Her mysteriously striking features and knowing presence were familiar, like an old dream, and took control of him. He couldn't figure out why. Max was hooked but realized that Bianka was far out of his league. She was wise beyond her years, intelligent about topics he had no clue about, and just carried herself three steps above him. Deformity- A hunk of a man-altered to look like a minotaur. He'll be the Ringmaster's pet/bodyguard of sorts. He doesn't speak with words, but through the mind; he's not that bright except on topics dealing with fighting, protecting, destroying, and following orders. He has no magic, but is able to rage when he deems necessary, and he only trusts Killian.

Information- Deutsch was Killian's first attempt to alter a human with his demonic powers to create his apprentice, but he turned out far too dense to control the power and not leadership material. Killian wanted an apprentice who has the strength to stand up against anything that comes their way and the intelligence and charm to run the greatest show on earth. Since the minotaur didn't work, he turned him into his mindless bodyguard and began creating Meric.

Avris was known as The Daredevil in The King's Throne Circus (his family's circus and Killian's biggest competition). He would attempt daring feats that showed how fearless and indestructible he was. Killian decided to enhance his ability by giving him a stronger core, natural armor, horns, and hooves... and named him Deutsch; he's a Taurus after all.

Deutsch is rarely seen in public unless Killian feels his act will be well accepted in the town they're visiting at the time. Instead, Deutsch keeps a close eye on the circus grounds and hides in the shadows watching Meric and the others. Killian trusts Meric - well enough - but knows that trust can only go so far. Deutsch is trained to follow Killian's orders alone - unless he specifies otherwise. He's also trained to manage Meric when he's not quite - himself. And, if by chance, Meric breaks protocol or steps out of line, Deutsch is the one who punishes him.

Relationships:
Deutsch loves Morticia because she feeds him chocolate-covered fingers and pickled toes from time to time.
He's not sure about The Twins; he can't tell if they're two people, or one person carrying a mirror with them.

Biography: In many ways, Koven's life has been very ordinary. In others, most strange. Koven was born in Oliphey, a large city situated by the southeast facing of the Barocula Mountains. He was born to a large family of high-ranking amongst society.

He eventually became a warden, and he excelled at this occupation for many, many years. He was married during this time. During the day he cared for his wife; during the night he watched over the city.

He first came to her in a dream when she was the human equivalent age of 14. In the midst of storms and hellfire, she heard an eerie chorus of harmonizing growls. Before she could block it out of memory, she saw the eyes of this Soul Lynx, and a voice speaking without words expressed for her to call to him whenever needed.

She never gained a name.

When she had become a Warmage at the equivalent human age of 18, she suffered heavy wounds during the battle for Argyris Lahti. Celesta called a name, one she felt she's heard before; she felt her life slipping away. Koven appeared before her eyes, granting her renewed life, strength, and protection. And they've been inseparable since.

Koven is a shifter, one who can alter his animal form to that of a human. In his human form, he acts as the Guardian of the Fahlsings' household; tutoring, monitoring, and basically maintaining the sibling's responsibilities, duties, and household staff during the day. But regardless of what form he's in, he still behaves normally like any lynx would, except sometimes he acts calculating and slick, especially when he hunts. He is a great Guardian, a sassy one at that, and is a natural soothsayer. No one knows how or why this Guardian chooses Celesta, but with his aid, she has become a powerhouse of a leader, and with his guidance, has taught Nahra how to harness her strength without knowing it's even there.

Rather artistic and logical – a perfect combination for an engineer. He's thorough in everything he does and tends to educate himself about the facts first before starting something new. Just like his mother, he's gained a knack for organization and survival, and he prefers to keep his life structured to maintain balance. Changes in his life right now are difficult to handle, but he's getting better in coping.

Occasionally, Tanis snaps when he gets stressed, tense or emotionally worn out. This nasty temper was given to him by his dad; a trait he's ashamed of. When he gets overloaded, he'll fall into a mental block - unknown to him - that can be very dangerous in certain situations. Once he snaps out of his personal shadows, Tanis will work and fight like a demon to protect and serve. History
His childhood ended when his parents divorced and his older brother and his mother left without him. Tanis would never see them again - he can't even recall their names or faces anymore. All he had was a tyrant father, Artrum, nature, and animals. His father quickly remarried to a wonderful woman, Dalarris, whom Tanis truly saw as his true mom. He clung to her to avoid Artrum at all costs. With her help, he started to pull from being his father's twin to pursue his own interest around the age of 10. Anything that kept Tanis far away from his father's wishes was wonderful. Regardless, Artrum still forced his hand, personally beginning Tanis' training for the cadet defense squad within the settlement of Yellows, to guide him in following his footsteps.

At 13, when the settlement's barn burned down, even though Tanis saved his friend, Clase, and the animals in the barn; and suffered serious burns due to his heroic act, his father still punished him for being there in the first place when he was supposed to be at the fighting ring to train for the squad.

When his stepmother died due to illness, Tanis was 15. He pulled away from his father further to avoid his hostility; for some reason, Artrum seemed to blame Tanis for her death, as well as his previous divorce. Due to Artrum's strange hatred towards him, Tanis grew closer to The Seongs, claiming that Dr. Seong treated him more like his son, than Artrum ever did. Even though Tanis still followed in his father's footsteps, as all children did in the Settlement, and became a cadet within the Yellow's defense squad, he was always rebellious and secretly studied under Dr. Seong (his adopted father) as well.

When Tanis passed his trials and became an officer at 18 years old, he stepped away with the knowledge and began to fully study veterinarian medicine with Dr. Seong, just to piss his father off. Artrum attempted to beat his son into the "right frame-of-mind", but now Tanis was strong enough in body and soul to stand up against him. Before the entire Settlement, the truth was revealed about Artrum's abusiveness towards his son. Since Tanis was of age, he was allowed to leave Artrum's home and make his way. Dr. Seong took him in, and he and Clase continued their studies in animal care - hoping to pass well enough to be chosen to travel with the group to the new settlement location - Daylight. Once the boys passed their trials, The Seong family packed up and moved to Daylight to build their new vetenarian hospital.

Hair: Long, dark brown that falls to her mid-back. She tends to keep it tied back whenever she can, but her bangs always fall over her eyes - it's better that way.

Eyes: Dark brown eyes, but her left eye is slightly clouded; partial blindness due to the damage she sustained after fighting against one of the bosses at The Chess Club. He busted her eyelid open with a beer bottle, leaving a shard of glass in her eye that she could not remove. It has attached itself to the nerve and causes her vision to fluctuate. Soon, its presence slowly cut away her sight in that eye. Surgery could save it, but really...?
Personality
Harper has a warped sense of good and bad. What she knows that's good for her, is normally bad for anyone else. Pain is an accepted course in her life and love is just another type of pain she must endure. There's nothing better - not in this world anyway. She tends to draw towards danger and dangerous people - a magnet for bad situations and bad decisions. The only reason for this she can figure is because the worse it is, the better it makes her feel. It's a security blanket - the discomfort of a dangerous, deadly life. If everything returned to what normal use to be when she was younger, she'll probably lose her mind and hide in a corner.

Harper's no's are really yes's, her battles are never really won because she favors defeating more. This causes her problems within The Chess Club because her actions make her look as if she's being defiant or insubordinate when in all actuality she's doing the best she can at the only thing she knows. To do good, she must be bad...

Tendencies/Habits: Has a mental picture of a person in her mind whom her subconscious exploits. This person is the one who comforts her when she's in her worse, a sort of conscious that helps her feel right when she's being wrong or when wrong is being done to her. This entity is also the person she attacks when she's angry at herself. In the Chess Club, it's not wise to fight or argue. But, when she's infuriated about a situation, she lets it out on this mental image (friend/enemy).

Her attacks are in her mind, but every now and then they become real - and Harper will find herself scared and bleeding from her personal fight. This opened up the wonderful world of hematophilia - her blood or others, she doesn't care. She just likes the feel of it; another security blanket...

Harper also suffers from agoraphobia - the fear of being trapped in an inescapable place or situation; yet, she continues to place herself in such situations... out of comfort or her form of punishment; who knows why she does this. This causes her to go through a major hyperarousal panic attack, in which she comforts herself through bleeding.
History
History: Informant and Scavenger for The Chess Club. Sex Slave to Maxwell "Domino" Pike, the former club manager for Boss Rage.

Harper was a payment for services for Maxwell "Domino" Pike, a loan shark who manages The Chess Club in The Yellows for Boss Rage. At first, she was just a typical sex slave, but it was clear that the girl had moxie - a bit too much of it at times. So, Domino decided to put her to better use as his Side-Girl and Informant - a toy for others to exploit in order for him to gain their secrets without none the wiser. Unfortunately for him, Harper learned enough secrets to out-do him, as well as passed enough of his secrets out for others to undo him as well.

After six years, a man named Cain entered the Club. A Mutated Bounty Hunter, one who was looking for Maxwell Pike for a few overdue vendettas, heard her secretive calls for aid. He wiped the Club clean of any human life, allowing for the lucky slaves to escape unharmed. Then, for his payment, he followed Harper until he was able to quietly eliminate all the other survivors, claiming her for himself. Unknowing that Cain was the true reason for her friends' sudden disappearances, Harper remained with Cain for three years, learning all she could from him. Eventually though, through his constant dream chatters from a sickness she never knew he had, she learned of the lies he told her about her friends. He was the one who killed them, sold them into slavery, or dropped them off in the middle of nowhere to die alone. Overcome with anger and disgust, she killed the huge brute in his sleep and took everything he owned, selling most of it to manage for gasoline, water, ammo, and paying for her safety.

Now, she is a Scavenger, making weapons out of anything she can get her hands on in order to sell to people for gas, food, or water. She teaches people how to use them, and where to safely go for the best materials in order to make good weapons of their own.

Other:
Skilled in welding and knows how to piece together a decent set of metal armor and padding; skills she'd learned from Cain. Can make weapons out of almost anything.

Knows some heavy field medical skills, of course from Cain, and was able to confiscate a lot of the medical equipment he happened to have scavenged from various hospital and med clinics throughout his travels.

Not very strong in long-range shooting, due to her eye, but Cain had taught her how to aim well enough for her needs and trained her in grappling, defensive, and other close-melee fighting and weapon techniques. Mean with a knife.

Oh, almost forgot. Harper has a built immunity for snake bites. Her show at The Chess Club was the erotically entertaining Snake Charmer, one where she'd been bitten enough times to build this immunity. Her limit - 14 bites; she'll seize into a coma.

Try is a scraping young man with long features that match his 5'8" height. Lean muscles to boot and building daily; never gaining weight due to his extremely active metabolism that keeps him running through the woods like a jackrabbit. He's not as stout as most males in the village, but he's gained their respect with his cunning stealth and frisky ways in scouting, tracking, and fighting.

Mysterious hazel eyes with flakes of blue, dark brown hair that grows thick and long. When preparing for battle, Try will either braid it up and around his neck, or cut it shoulder-length, to keep it out of his way when sneaking or scouting. It doesn't matter to him because it grows at a rapid rate. However, not a blade will touch his maturing beard. Has a half arm tattoo of bands and various runes of protection around his left forearm, and rune tattoos from the nape of his neck down to the crack of his ass. Protection and runes of stealth, cunning, and intuition place upon him before he was old enough to speak the words.

temperament: Open-Minded, Straightforward, Guarded, Absentminded, Instinct, Hardworking, Protective, Selfless, Trustworthy, Focus and Serious, but he is not without his moments of silliness; he is quite fond of being a prankster. He can be incredibly deceptive at times, but only when the situation calls for it.


Try has a habit of self-loathing and brood when under an emotional crisis. Overwhelmed, either he'll explode in unyielding rage, or walk away to avoid such, rather calming down and dealing with the problem. His hot-blooded nature is a true sign that he's of Viking blood, even though he doesn't quite look the part just yet. At times, he keeps his emotions to himself, the only person he ever trusted for a long time being his sister. But he does open up towards those who earn his trust and his love. He easily opens up whenever he's alone within nature or with the animals he manages.

temperament: Eerika is a very quiet, well-mannered young woman, calm and collected; observant, sly, and mischievous. However, the very air around her can quickly turn chaotic if the right trigger is hit. Meticulous, Diligent, Intelligent, and Analytical. She can, however, show her immaturity at times with certain topics that a young woman should know. She was mostly raised by her brother; therefore, missed a few milestones that he was not capable of aiding her learning. She's learned most from the women of the village, but still... all she knows is the seas, sword, and coin.


Oh, but don't attempt to oversell her - she'll wind up with your entire collection, along with your coin pouch, all for free and with no complaint. She's learned all about buying and selling from her merchant parents, knowing just how to weasel her way into a good deal - and gaining more than what was offered with the seller none the wiser. And if you attempt to undo her, you'll soon learn that she's just as adept as a shieldmaiden as she is a saleswoman.

All in all, she's a happy sort but holds a sadness that eggs her into a fight rather than crying in the dark. Unlike her brother, Rika prefers to desensitize herself from her emotions, a feeling that builds her into a strong, stoic woman - like her mother once was.

Tide Glider named Runa

abilities: Very graceful Sea Dragon. Her saliva has healing qualities. She shoots balls of poisonous acid out from the water. If it doesn't reach you to burn you, the smoke it creates will poison you instead. Runa is a very skittish dragon, preferring to hide in the water, even though she is capable of flying in the air.

When it comes to her eggs, they look like a bubble, translucent blue in the middle with specks of white.
She's very quick and flexible, which is an advantage when used for escape or Dragon Racing! When in air or water, she looks as if she's dancing.
Within Sjöberg history, their ancestors were the ones within two famous folk stories: The Master Theif, and the Thunderstone. It is said that their 5th Gen Grandfather, Jørgen Sjöberg, a retired seaman who became a poor cottager, had three sons. His youngest, Try's namesake, was the famed Master Thief who proved his skills to the king's head squire for his daughter's hand in marriage. With abilities proven and happily married, he soon was hired by the king as his Royal Merchant, and he and his wife traveled around the world at the king's liking - acquiring many treasures at other's expense. Within his travels, Trygve acquired the very rare Thunderstone - a myth among men, it is a Prehistoric stone that is found in areas where lightning strikes. It is said to behold untold healing and protection properties. It can be used to create unbreakable weapons that loyally protect the wielder, and used for sigil jewelry to protect the wearer.

Now Trygve and Eerika never truly considered these old family stories to be true due to the folklore tag now associated with them. But Try's older daggers and Rika's older axes, given to them by their great grandfather and mother before their passing, proved the story otherwise. Both are created with Thunderstone. They have never chipped, stained, cracked, molded, or weakened in all their years; and both weapons seem to be attuned to each of them in a sense that they don't have to think about them at all in order for them to claim their hands. For some odd reason, whenever they are in dire danger, those particular weapons just find their places within their palms. Strange, yes - but because of their significance and success whenever they use them, these items are their most sacred family treasures.

They both are children of a generational curse that has followed them all their lives. The Master Thief stories are slight truth and false, which holds significance with those who believe in such old tales. Therefore, seeing Try as a roguish being, and Rika as a merchant, strangers who know the Sjöberg legends instantly assume they're too untrustworthy for business. They've gone through most of their young lives proving otherwise. Only those who have watched these two grow through their summers know they are as true to their hearts as they are to their words. However, for those who don't believe in the honesty of thieves and wish for them to prove themselves through blade and blood - they prove themselves just fine.

Avoiding such personal battles these days keeps Rika landbound and Try hidden away. Rika's taken up learning herbology for healing and learning more about caring for dragons at the hatchery. Try keeps himself in the woods, learning about the abundance they offer their horde and mapping the lands around their village. He also tends to the husbandry of the various herds in the village, and aids in protection from outsiders through various traps tucked away - marked by runes only the horde knows how to decipher.

The recent attack on their village took the lives of their parents. Rika moves on without mourning but seems to hate the world around her unless she's near the sea or focusing on her studies to veil those dark memories. Try blames himself for the entire attack - being one of the village's sharpest points - he failed to notice the oncoming attack, and even though his traps stopped plenty from entering the village by foot, the air attacks... Not many could see their coming - except for his keen eyes... But still, he missed those too. So, he's hiding in the woods or keeping busy in the stables and barns to keep his demons at bay.

She is the tiniest of creatures, short in stature and slight in frame. Creamy brown skin, bleached in splotches partially due to her profession, and a head full of dual-colored waves of brunette and silver that fall to the middle of her back. At times, she would braid or twist them up for special occasions, but for workdays, she wears her hair loose or tied into a messy bun - easier to wash the ash out later.
Stubborn/Rebellious - Audrai is a creature living under her own terms. She was that one kid who would do what she was told - but never agree. Once Rai has made up her mind there was nothing in this world that can make her change it. However, maturity has taught her to harness this, especially when the good of All is at stake. But it's a very difficult process for her at times when she's concerned about the outcome of other choices made.

Intuitive / Nosey - Understanding or figuring things out has always come naturally to Rai. She is insightful, intelligent, and can usually catch things that other people miss. Mostly, she's just flat-out nosey and wants to figure things out on her own accord.

Adventurous - It may be incredibly inconvenient for others, but she absolutely loves to wander off on one of her "mini-adventures", searching through the unknown to find something interesting... mostly leading to trouble... not often... just a few times in the past, but nothing she couldn't handle!

Optimistic / Charismatic - If a smile can't be found on Audrai's face, then be ready for everything to end because there is something absolutely wrong with the entire world, its planet, and the universe. Audrai is always positive and always smiling because that is how she is, even if she doesn't have a reason to smile. A Peacekeeper and Shoulder to Lean On, Audrai has been known to calm storms and forgive the unforgiving. Her personality is contagious; it isn't hard for her to make friends. If there are anything negative or secret fears hiding under her chipper persona, none would be the wiser.

Fearless – "Can you imagine what it would be like to live your life without fear? This to me has become my idea of freedom, which equates to happiness." She doesn't mind being the first to do something unknown and potentially dangerous. If it helps gain results that benefit the whole and breaks her fear of it, then to be the first to attempt is an honor. However, she is intelligent enough to recognize an inevitable negative outcome - in which case, it's more honorable to change plans.

Ability to see and communicate with the dead by connecting to their spirit physically (Possession - becoming their living vessel), or through touching an object or being in close contact of an object or area connected to the departed. She tends to be able to use the psychometry skill with objects touched by the living as well, learning about the person through the small remnant they left behind. But since she's more connected to the afterlife she tends to be weak in this area.

Invisibility/Living Ghost - Due to her albino nature, she is truly a Living Ghost. She can become transparent, turning herself or things she touches invisible. She's also able to cast larger invisibility shields to protect or hide a group of people, but this skill is still new to her and difficult to do.

Audrai has no recollection of having a childhood or family. All she knows is what she was told by her uncle, Amous, who had become her adopted father. How did that come to past, you say? Well, as the story goes, her family was traveling through the vast lands of Ethos, searching for new land to settle on. Her father, Olvr, recalled his younger brother lived in a province close to Cinidum, and so he attempted to take his young family there. He was unaware of the Ashlands and unfortunately found its edge.

To put a long story short, surrounded by gruesome forms of ash and death and overcome by the onslaught of thick ashen air clogging their lungs, Olvr, a skilled carpenter, took arms and attempted to protect his wife and family. However, his wife, Pheobri, who was an amazing leather smith in her own right, ignored his warnings and did the same, calling to her son to take young Audrai and run towards the lively trees away from the sulled cursed grounds. Fighting to breathe, Archet, of twelve summers, lifted little Audrai (who was at 4 summers) and ran with all his might - he never turned back. Unfortunately, over her brother's shoulder, Audrai watched as her parents fell.

Varon blessedly watched and guided the youth towards an unknown village near Lordhan. There, the residents tended to the two - Archet overcome with fatigue and ashlung, while Audrai was weary and sickly but unscaved. Through Archet, they learned about their uncle's location and sent a messenger; surprising Amous and his wife, Lithiuna for they did not receive Olvr's letter of their pending visit. By the time Amous and his wife arrived to retrieve the two, they arrived to find only one. Archet did not survive the ashlung - his tiny form suffocated in his sleep.

Alive and safe, little Audrai was, and what a blessing, for Amous did not know his brother had a second child. With their unfortunate luck in having children, this was a chance for them to still have a happy family after all. But Audrai was not a happy child - still sickly due to ashlung, her skin quickly faded oddly for a long while until her health favored better. But haunted by what she'd unknowingly witnessed so early in life, Rai lost consciousness of what little past she had with her origin family. Nightmares filled her memories with her parents' last stand and her brother's final sufferings - baffling, and frightful to watch on repeat in her mind. Rest did not come easy for her for most of her years, and she feared leaving her home for any reason - especially when the ground rumbled and the air thickened. Rai grew a fear of dark, inescapable places, preferring large spaces of peace and light.

Amous and Pheobri helped Rai regain her love for life by teaching her from home about everything she was missing beyond the closed door. Soon, Audrai wanted to follow them to market, to work, to visit anywhere she was allowed, so she could experience for herself everything they've taught her. Before they knew it, she was slipping off to various locations around town by herself for 'adventures', returning grimy with joy and stories to tell about all the interesting neighbors and their hush-hush tales. Pheobri had to put a stop to that quickly. When Audrai was of age and showing interest in more than just exploring the village, her parents decided to enroll in Elementary.

Years passed, and the more she learned about the Ashlands, the more she wanted to destroy it; to break her confusing fears, so she could get on with her life. Amous never revealed what happened to her original family, fearing the young lady would break in learning that her nightmare was real. Instead, he watched as she grew to become a strong young woman who stood against fear. As all generations before, she applied to the Ash Collector Academy and studied hard. Many believed, due to her appearance, that she'd already been through the harsh lands more than once. All she could express, with disbelief responses soon after, "I've never seen the Ashlands before in my life!"

- "Akin" - Name means "The Brave One"

Amber Dragons are stocky creatures, their wings built more to help them dig through the vast sea of sand than to fly. Their sandy-colored skin and deep amber scales are the perfect armor against the heat of the desert. Thick red spines grow from their elbows and the ends of their wings, and a crown of vivid red horns stretch from the back of the males' heads. They are shorter than most dragons, built more like an alligator with tails meant to propel them forward and heads mean to cut through whatever they happen to be swimming through.

While the females show a line of course of hair down their backs, the males dawn a beard under their chin of various colors, and some have tufts of hair on their shoulders and slightly down their necks, also for means of keeping cool in desert heats. Their talons are sharp and hard, able to cut and dig through stone, and there is a thick web of skin between each toe to help them swim through sand like water.
Trickster / Big Tease: Though they are not evil by nature, they do enjoy their games, sometimes a little too much. Akin is no exception, especially when it comes to getting Rai's goat – when time allows for such antics. Moments like this are rare, for Akin is like a stuffy librarian or a hard-nosed businessman most of the time.

Obsessive / Over-Protective: The bond between Akin and Audrai is as strong as any other, but Akin's overly concerned interest in Rai's wellbeing tends to get out of hand. A brotherly instinct or a deep fear of losing her tends to steer Rai away from fulfilling her quota and completing her job. Akin is all business until a threat arrives - then it's time for him to protect Rai at all cost. Eventually, he'll learn to trust her instincts and skill... but that's easier said than done.

Risky – but Cautious: Especially with a group, and more so when he's with Rai. Crazy as it sounds, Akin is more responsible than Rai is when they're out and about. She might learn a thing or two from him if she would listen. Maybe, in time…

Impatient / All Business: Akin can't stand to wait around all day for anyone, not even his charge. If there's a job to do, and time is of the essence, then Akin will assure Rai makes her rounds On Time! No excuses, no delays, No Squirrel chasing! When it's time to work, Akin works like a madman.

Observant: Always with a keen eye, Akin watches everyone with sharp interest. Learning each person associated with Rai, understanding everything about the new world around him and how it affects Rai and her companions, and being watchful of any dangers (internal or external) can threaten the lot. Akin tends to learn better this way. Remaining silent and vigilant; can be a deadly combination in other circumstances. It's always the quiet ones you should watch out for; they're most certainly watching you.
Amber Dragons are bold and risky fighters, and it's said that their screams are loud enough to cause earthquakes. Their talons are sharp, and their tails are thick and meaty, providing the perfect club. Despite their naturally thick structure, they are surprisingly quick on their feet. However, an Amber Dragon is unable to pull its wings fully against its body, giving an opening to slice through its thick skin and damage them.

Their breath weapon, however, is the reason for their name, being a thick blast of sap-like liquid that hardens like a stone after only moments, trapping any caught within. This stone is mostly transparent and amber in color, granting the name for the dragon.

Strengths:
Best grappler you have ever seen! Due to Akin's low mass and wide stance, it'll take more than a dragon twice his side to put him down (unless they sat on him), and even then he would bury himself out of that squeeze to surprise his enemies by taking them along with him. Not many creatures can breathe under the sand - Akin can.

Weaknesses:
His deep connection to Rai seems to be turning into an even deeper obsession that might damage more than just their bond.

Akin's not a flyer, which makes him the slower dragon of the group. Therefore, travel takes more time than normal, especially when doing so against unaccommodating terrains. And don't dare as Akin to request a lift from the other dragons! That hurts his pride in uncomfortable ways.

Marrose's personality is one that is of extremes: When she is feeling like herself, and everything is going her way, she has an extremely sweet and silly disposition; kind and friendly, but all business when required. However, when her asthma drains her into a poor state of mind, Marietta is best described as insensitive, distant, dejected, and suicidal. Her strong asthmatic and panic attacks frustrate her, making a very athletic and determined young lady slow and flustered at herself. She is a work-o-holic and a fierce businesswoman who is used to having her way. She doesn't like pity or soft-hearted people treating her like an infant due to her health issues.

She can be rather stubborn at times, hard-headed, and strong-willed to keep things her way if the other way seems far too uncomfortable or just downright uncalled for. Due to how she's had to manage her life without a proper set of parents, Marrose has drilled herself to be effectively and efficiently independent. Keeping her life in control is not necessary, but it makes her feel secure in her belief that she will not mature into the woman her mother had become – lacking self-sufficiency; always needing an ungrateful man in her life. She's seen two 'step-fathers' grind her mother to hamburger meat, and that's after her millionaire dead-beat father left her rather than working things out. Marrose loves him like an overbearing big brother or an irritating distant cousin. Marietta had missed out on experiencing stable family life, as far as she knows. Her father, Kaspesin Dulviar-Kiepersol, is the CEO of the Dulviar-Kiepersol Wineries in South Korea. The Kiepersol Wineries of the US, a company of his making, is located originally in Tyler, Texas. Now they span clear across the United States. He's the son of Horacio & Locendia Dulviar, owners of the famous Dulviar Chianti wines of Tuscany, Italy. They still reside in the historical "Abbey of the Good Harvest" (Badia a Coltibuono) in Tuscany where the Vallombrosan monk, Bro. Emanuelo Esposito, entered the monastery in the 11th century and took over the care of the holy wines.

Marietta's mother, Marinella Rosewood, is a former dancer at the Boston Ballet. Her career ended suddenly due to a very serious injury that forced her to leave the dance for life. She struggled to try to find a new career because dance was all she knew. Eventually, through good friends, she obtained a job as a secretary for Sweeney Designs in Chicago, IL; an advertising and marketing firm that happens to work for the Kiepersol Wineries. Marinella slowly worked her way through college as an executive assistant, learning about marketing while on the job. Soon, she was able to work as an entry-level ad designer, and her first project was assisting the design team for Kiepersol Wineries. That's where she met Kaspesin. Eventually, they became a thing... and quickly that thing turned into an amazing turn of events.

With her bold marketing collaboration and elaborate hidden knowledge of Ontology (the science of winemaking), his company eventually turned into The Kiepersol-Rosewood Wineries at their unannounced marriage, turning heads as they soared higher in the American Winery markets.

Kaspesin and Marinella's marriage was not favored by his parents, for regardless of Marinella's family background, they saw her lack of success and poverty in her past life to be a damaging entity in their son's life now. They felt she would become an anchor against his rising future. Marinella's parents, two Spanish American/Italian descents, were thrilled that she had found a stable husband – meaning if she wasn't in it for the money, they were. Regardless of the troubles, the two went through a second marriage ceremony in Italy - with his parents' unwilling blessings. However, far too soon they felt they were not compatible and separated after Marietta was born.


Marietta has never met her father; only heard of his name and seen older pictures of him on the internet. Her mother and family friends have been her only family. She notes them for all of her achievements, not the man who only gave her life and was never there to teach her about it. Because of her birth, her grandparents made amends with Marinella for she is now the mother of their only grandchild - the new heir to their historical and ancient family company. Marietta grew up between the U.S. and Italy, holding dual citizenship. This is all for her grandfather's quest in teaching his grandchild everything about the company before his passing. His son had not become the man he'd hoped he would. Therefore, to avoid watching all his lifelong hard work fall to greed and stupidity, he's molding Marietta and keeping her safe. Her grandmother, however, disagrees with her husband about utilizing the girl, for she's too young and a liability.

Recently, Marinella has been acting strange, questioning her if she's received any strange calls from her father, and talking about her visiting her grandparents and heading overseas for college. Marrose had already set her sights at Pratt University in New York, one of the most prestigious fine arts universities in the US, riding on several scholarships in photography, and savings that her mother had set up for her for years. She was also hoping to room with her best friend, a dance student who was also heading to Pratt. For her mother to suddenly bring up her absent father, of all people, right at the edge of graduating high school, was crazy; even more so when she partially explained why…

Eventually, she made her mother talk. Her grandparents wanted her to live with them in Italy for the rest of the year, before starting college, in order to teach her more about the winery - for Horatio has only a few months left to live. After his death, Marietta returned to America with an entire global company in her pocket and a new project to christen her status as CEO - the opening of a new refinery in America. This all before starting college in America.

Notes:
Asthmatic. In her early years, Marietta was constantly in the hospital due to her ill health. Premature at birth with poor lungs, Marrose always struggled to stay afloat, to keep her head above water just to take her next breath. It didn't make simplicity easy for her. School, friends, hanging out, dance, hiking, fencing, swimming... all of her joys became a life or death situation if something triggered a serious attack; sometimes her inhaler just wasn't enough. This did not stop her from trying new things and succeeding in a few of them, but it made the basic challenge difficult. At 13, due to back luck hitting her all at once - a medication mix-up, and depression, she attempted to end her life, but her Italian childhood friend, Marcello Esposito, saved her. Regardless of her choice, she sees her salvation as a second chance and decided not to allow anything to stop her from living her way, trying new things, and succeeding in a few of them.

She always carries an inhaler, but she has learned to control her breathing to a point with Tai Chi breathing techniques. Still, if she becomes too nervous and falls into a panic, her attacks will be harder to control and cause her to go so far as passing out. Afterward, these forms of serious attacks can leave her lethargic, with a migraine, or unconscious for hours. Usually, for seriously long travels, her mother and grandmother insisted that she carries a small oxygen pack, extra inhalers, smelling salts, and emergency injectors filled with high dosages of her medication that rapidly opens her passageways.

The Book of Wynn Series


Act I: The Protegio Institute



On the planet Wynn, seven Top Students from the most elite magical school in Arnestra Sera, The Protegio Institute, are about to complete their last year as Laymagi, preparing for their Finals. If they pass, they graduate as Acolytes and gain access to the magical underground world of Arnestra Sepa and their new home - the Protegio's Six Towers. Also above and beneath the surface of this planet are the Arch Protegas - the sacred Gateway to the 888 Plaines of Existence and the center of magic throughout the universe.



Under the watchful eyes of the Master Sufi (Sufu/Sufa), these Acolytes will embark on their amazing magical journey through each step of their training (Acolyte to Journeymagi to Apprentice) - until they've harnessed their inner Xim - their true magical connection to the pure source of all magic within the 888 Plains of Existence, becoming Sufi. But, other eyes are secretly watching these students, much more carefully than the Master Sufi.



As if these new Acolytes didn't have enough to worry about, word spreads among the student body of an old practice never used in over 200 years. Well, there has been no need for it - until now. The Grandmasters of the Six Towers, known as the Master Avats, have sensed an abnormality; one they haven't felt in a long time. Among the new Acolytes, there's a Taun - a student who holds a pure connection to all six forms of magic.



Six years of their life to solitude is the standard training for a Taun, allowing them to strengthen their powers within each tower of magic individually. Such a life is unimaginable to these new students - all wish to avoid such a fate; losing their freedom for unfathomable power; no connection to family, friends, relationships. They'll even have to disconnect from their dragons during the time! That's unheard of but necessary for this training. Being this strongly connected in all forms of magic and pure Xim is a phenomenon and a dangerous one at that. Many who have such skills are usually easily broken down in mind, body, and spirit. The power and weight of such are fatal. This is why the training is so extensive - and harsh.

It is known that Tauns are the only students qualified to become Avats, sacrificing their lives to protect Wynn and the Arch Protega from below, while the Legionnaires and their Avat Legionnaires, Master Dragonriders, protect them from above, and the Twelve Elders of the Citadel protects all of Wynn.



Meanwhile, as the new Acolytes begin their new lives with the start of their three-month summer break, another strange phenomenon occurs - The Gatesway opens for the first time in two hundred years as well, to a dying planet called - Earth. An Earthling was pulled through the portal and slipped past the protectors of Wynn. But...something worse trailed behind.

Can these students manage to keep up with their studies, and protect their freedom, with these issues looming over them?

(So basically, as our dear students will go through the trials of graduation, meeting their dragon bonds, and the fears of possibly losing their freedom. Then, suddenly, they'll be thrown into a wild gamble when they discover an Earthling and accidentally brings them to Wynn. Instead of the friends turning the Earthling into the Citadel, they decided to keep the Earthling's presence a secret. Their choice becomes the catalyst that sparks several issues that reveals an unknown danger that's been working to ruin Wynn and the magic it creates.

About Wynn


Wynn is the center of the world among the 888 Plains of Existence. Because of this, they are the central source of ancient magic for the entire universe. Connected to other universes, Wynn's abundance of magic helps to maintain the 888. The strength of the other worlds, once they have grown in magic and peace, returns the favor by contributing to the universal storehouse of magic, keeping the universe vibrant. However, some worlds fall into darkness, losing their spark. If so, to keep the magic pure, the dying planet must be severed from the web of Wynn to keep the 888 safe.

About Dragons


Dragon Types
Agylapu (Ice)
- The rarest breed on Wynn. Agylapuses are a crossbreed of a Water and Spirit dragon, and they only produce one egg every hundred years. For an egg to survive, it must stay within below-freezing temperatures. Most Agylapu do not survive high temperatures during adolescence due to insufficient harvesting temperatures.

Hyperion (Water) - Very few Hyperion dragons are above ground. They prefer to be near or underwater more than anything. They only produce their eggs underwater, where they must remain until hatching. They are cliff dwellers, living near the beaches or large lakes near their Familiar cities.

Dulsorian (Spirit) - With the abilities of summoning and telepathy, Spirit dragons are loyal and protective of their Familiars. They are, in essence, a breed of all elements, for they live off the spirits of all living around them - especially their Familiars. They are the second-rarest breed on Wynn.

Gengha (Fire) - The most dangerous breed to obtain and train. Genghas possess violent, raging tempers that can take weeks to subside and are extremely wary of trusting others. However, they'll go above and beyond for them once they gain a Familiar's trust. Known to attack their Familiars and Riders if they're upset at them - they hold long-standing grudges that can become deadly if there's any note of distrust.

Balatian (Earth) - The most common breed of dragons, Balatians are very docile and aware of their surroundings. With natural camouflage, they can blend into their environment easily. A very loving breed - they're like giant teddy bears.

Luxis (Lightening) - Like their cousins, Gengha, Luxises are the second most dangerous breed of dragons due to their extremely hot-headedness (ability to rage, but hard to subside), unpredictability, and difficulty to handle. But, compared to Gengha, they're easier to train and tend to build upon their trust quicker. However, they are known to ditch their Familiars/Riders if they're upset at them. Luxises are also the fastest flyers amongst the other breeds.

Bolduris (Stone) - The second most common breed of dragons, Bolduris also have camouflage abilities. They are, however, very cumbersome, accident-prone, and a very heavy breed. They are considered the tanks in an aerial fight and have the ability to rage.
Lyna (Light) -

Echor (Ether) - The black Echor dragons are an unknown type seen thousands of years ago. They are listed because they are a part of Wynn and Dragonrider's history. Echors are the ancestors of all dragons.​
