Rikusen, an average city, is renowned for its wide array of culture and acceptance. Though it seems all is being corrupted with hate. Under the surface more is going on as opposing groups begin to fight. A distortion in the area creating the warzone and shadows begin to form. These rivalries are kept hidden as devious plans form to be the best and to ruin the competitor. The only way to solve this and close the distortion is to change the hearts of the citizens. Though rumors will our heroes prevail or will the city succumb to hate. This is your story and it is up to you to save it.

Like any other day for the city little was going on. It was busy with traffic as the spring break was nearing it's end. Students would be back in school the following week and 1st year students would be going to the Opening Ceremony on the 6th. Ryuhami high was a well sought out school. It was not the best by any means but it was a school that could help students find themselves. The clubs and activities could cater to many individuals and academically it was higher on the list of schools.

Yukio was a 3rd year student and as the student council president he would need to attend the Opening Ceremony the following day. The tall male found himself looking for a nice shirt and slacks to wear for the occasion. It wasn't like he lacked the outfit at home with what he already had but he wanted something fresh and new. Finding himself in a small clothing district he went from shop to shop. Some held higher quality clothes while other's had affordable but equal elegance in the look. He was not poor but at times he never liked to spend more than needed.

Looking up at the sky with bags in hand he felt a cool breeze blow through the street. The day was nice and he wondered if he should find a place to relax and enjoy the small time he had left before he was back in school. Taking his clothes home, Yukio looked about as he didn't see Haru anywhere. Where did the little brat go off to? Leaving the home once more he made his way to a small park that was close by. The park was mostly for children but there were a few trees and benches he could take and relax. Maybe he would find his younger brother here.

Walking to the small pond off to the side he sat down, shaded by a tree and watched the fish swim. When he was younger he spent many days here feeding the fish and watching them when he could. Though he kept himself busy since an early age and as he grew older he had less time to visit his slippery friends. It was a relaxing place to be and he needed to make more time to come here again. Meanwhile Haru was at the library.

The young boy often loved reading so when he could he would go to the local library to find a nice book to dive into. His eye's scanned the shelves and he pulled a book off laying it on the small stack he had. Satisfied with the books he had Haru walked to a table and sat down. Opening the first one which was something about planets he flipped through the pages to find a fact he did not know. Which was a bit hard these days since he spent most of his time learning something. He may have been 10 but he could easily be a 1st year in high school.

Keifu was in the store covering her shift. Even over the break she still went to work. The job wasn't hard but at times it was annoying when no one complimented her on her appearance. She lived for the attention and when a cute guy came in and talked about her outfit she would giggle and flirt. The owner at first was unsure about her but seeing how many people came in just to see her, he gave her more hours as profits boomed. Guys would just come in to buy one thing to get the chance to talk to her.

Playing with her hair and giggling as a young guy talked to her she looked over. Despite loving the attention some days she liked going home and relaxing or going into to town so she could actually flirt and be a normal teen. The clock said 3:46 and she internally groaned. Three more hours before she could go and spend her money on more cute things. Maybe another plush or maybe some new earrings. "Probably the plush Mr. Narrator." Keifu said as the guy looked at her confused.

"Huh oh that will be 4.76.." She said as she rang up the item and looked at the customer with a smile. Thanking him for his compliments he scurried out flushing red as Keifu called him handsome. Playing with her hair she stood there and watched people come in, it looked like a couple and she pouted. The guy was hot and when there was a female attached she never got attention from the men. "Bet she is a bitch..." The teen grumbled.

Tachibana Rei

As other Students enjoyed the remainder of their last week of fresh air before school started, Rei spent her day lying in bed without a care in the world. Covered in a soft pink down comforter, she peeked through her phone, deleting "unnecessary" notifications without bothering to check them. Unless it was from her close friends or her father, there was no point. She wasn't up for wasting her time on strangers. Looking through her contacts, she spotted Yukio's name pop up. "I could bother him.." She started mumbling to herself as she sat up, prepared to text him. "Ah, he's the president. He's busy." Demotivated, she plopped back down and looked at the next contact, her father, before passing him and giving up altogether. "Who will feed me now?" Her stomach grumbled in complaint, prompting her to stop lazing about and prepare her own food.

Instead of sitting up again, she rolled off the bed instead and laid there for a moment before slowly getting up to her feet and groggily made her way to the bathroom to get ready to go out for lunch. Within moments she exited dressed in a pink dress with her hair held back into a lazy low ponytail. Before heading out the door, she grabbed her phone, bag and keys. Locking the door behind her upon her departure, Rei paused for a moment before casually striding to the nearest cafe, a local crepe cafe. It seemed her luck wasn't good today, the line was long and full of other sweet toothed maniacs. But at the same time it wasn't as if she had anywhere to go. Perhaps she would go to the park after to enjoy the sight of the cherry blossoms before they could bloom and attract annoying crowds? As she pondered over where to eat the crepe, she looked through the displays, thinking of a good flavor to try.

Akiya "Aki" Tsukino

Hidden away in the deepest corner of the bookstore was a petite figure, hunched over the most recent selection of manga chuckling away like a maniac. The mask on their face combined with the laughter, made the surrounding customers feel pretty uncomfortable. Unable to stand the awkward atmosphere, one by one the remaining customers left the store acting as if they left their stove on at home.

"Akkun why do you always do this?" The bookstore owner, Chifuyu, cried out. Although her tone was a little severe, the mirth in her eyes could not be missed as the crows feet under her lively blue eyes became more prominent. Slowly, the elder got up from her stool and limped over, the cane in her hand tapping away at an unsteady rhythm on the tile flooring. It was clear that she was very much familiar with the hunched up figure.

Startled by the sound of an all too familiar voice, the hunched figure promptly got to their feet and bowed to the owner. "Hahaue! Ay, my apologies. I just get too excited. Please don't strain yourself!" After putting the manga in their hands carefully into their bag, they got up and held onto the owner's arm, leading her back to her stool. "You're not as young as you used to be. If you cross the river now, who will give me discounts?" Seeing that the coast was clear of all outsiders, the masked figure dropped their mask, revealing none other than Akiya. As she took out the book from her bag, she also handed over the appropriate amount of money with it. The elder before her had always treated her like her own child. Although the age difference was big enough for Akiya to be the woman's grandchild, the lady acted quite younger than her peers and gave off more of a motherly feel than a grandmother feel.

"Silly child. What am I going to do with you?" Chifuyu feigned and aggrieved look and pinched the girl's small nose hard enough to make Akiya's eyes tear from the sharp pain. "If you do something like this again, don't think that I won't chase you out!" The owner playfully threatened her as she moved onward to processing the payment. Seeing another customer on their way in, Chifuyu playfully chased Akiya out of the store, waving her cane about as if to hit her. Seeing the cue to scram, Akiya blew Chifuyu a kiss and waved goodbye, "See ya~!"

Now standing outside of the store, Akiya carefully put away her mask and the manga she had purchased before beginning to make her way home. On the way, she came across an alley where she heard soft peeps calling out to her pitifully. Curious, she took a turn into the alley and spotted a box holding two little chicks. Stunned by the sight, Aki froze for a moment. She had seen boxes of cats and puppies but never birds. What kind of psycho would do such a thing? Where would they even get the birds from?! What was she supposed to do about this predicament?

"Oh, I can call for help. Maybe? That'd be bothersome. A text should do. If she doesn't come, I'll just take you guys home, okay?" Speaking to the peeping chicks in a box to calm herself, Akiya proceeded to look through her phone for the right person. The only one who came to mind was a close friend whose eyes occasionally seemed drawn to the clouds. The person in question was none other than Jessica Willows. Akiya sent the message, hoping she wasn't interrupting anything important.

[fieldbox="Aki~no, #ffd700, Dotted"]Oooi, Jessie, Are you free? I've got a little problem over here in the alley by the bookstore. If you can come over, that'd be great! (つ . •́ _ʖ •̀ .)つ

[/fieldbox]
After pressing send, she took a peep into the box and took a picture of the two chicks, sending it to Jessica as well as she tried to shush them before they could attract any cats. "Hey, shhh. This is why cats eat you. Everything's going to be okay." Akiya sat beside the box and began to talk about nothing in particular to waste time. At the same time, she held back the temptation to poke the little birds.

A Protagonist Appears! - Ryo Murakami

Ryo stuck her tongue out as she began to mash the buttons on her controller. Hopping up from her bed, in only a black oversized shirt and blacks shorts. Her hair looked unkempt and she herself seemed almost sickly. No one would know that she was a young heiress from her looks right now, but she obviously didn't care about that. "Fuck! Fuck! Lose damit!" She yelled at the screen. It was one of Ryo's favorite games and she had been stuck on. "Dead again! This is why I don't buy these! Your games are too hard!" Ryo shouted throwing her controller on her bed. The words, You Died in deep red letters began to fade in. She dove face first into her bed once again. "I hate games!" She shouted into her pillow before turning over to look at her ceiling. She could feel it coming, the feeling that had began to well up inside her since the day of the incident.

It was this overwhelming feeling that started in her chest and seemed to grow and grow until it felt like it would burst through her chest and every time when she thought she could no longer take it, tears would roll down her eyes. Each one feeling painful and burning her cheeks as they rolled down her face. This time was no different, it had been some weeks since she came back home, since her best friend had died and Ryo was having a rough time coping. Any time she would sleep her dreams would be about that moment and she'd wake up with her pillow soaking wet from her tears. Even now she was living as a hermit, hiding inside her room and only coming out when she needed to use the bathroom. Ryo was content on putting everything on hold and living the rest of her days as a neet.

"Li Xiaolu, I miss you."She whispered to herself as tears ran down her face. She knew her father and her brother would never allow her neet lifestyle continue much longer. Soon she'll have to go back to school and she needed to get use to that. She dried her eyes and cheek and sniffled, quite a bit. It was time for her to move forward with her life. If she stayed locked into place she would only drag those around her down. Ryo steeled her newly found resolve. She would finally leave the house if only for a ride around town. So, she stood up and went out her bed room door like for her brother. " Ni-san?! Tada-ni?!" She shouted, her voice somewhat weaker than before when she was yelling at her tv, but still loud enough to carry out through the house.

The 'crazy' one - Kiro Millard

Kiro's eyes would slowly open, the deep dark circles around his eyes showing how much sleep he got that week, he looked around his bedroom, slightly bits of light would occasionally enter his room through the dark curtain, with a yawn, he kept looking around without even moving, he was too tired for that... Suddenly the alarm on his cell phone would start ringing... Showing it was the fifth time in 2 hours that it had rung... Quickly going to the bathroom, he cursed his reflection on the mirror as the damned cell phone alarm clock hasn't woken him up at the time he wanted... After doing his daily and morning routine on the bathroom, he went straight to the kitchen, made some quick but healthy food form him to eat and sighed as he finished it while daydreaming about his perfect day of fighting along with getting known by the gang he so much wanted to participate... His enthusiasm was big enough to psyche him up to get things done even quicker.

Cleaning the dishes and quickly getting back to his room, he got some random clothing which would be enough to keep him light and ready for a small fight in a random alley... Well, if he would find some gang members somewhere... But still, even that thought didn't stop his enthusiasm. Still being quick, he got everything he needed to leave his house and go search for his next foes... He laughed at himself as he remembered he should have saved up more money for bandages and other medical things... Well, at least he remembered he still had half the things of a medkit in his bathroom... So he wouldn't need to go straight to the hospital or Otome Clinic just because of a busted lip or bleeding knuckles... With a sigh and shaking his head from those thoughts, he started thinking he was just going to fight a little today and the next day on the opening ceremony, he would try finding some new guys to fight against... Probably there would even be a girl this time for him to fight with? Well, only time would tell.

Once he was fully ready, he didn't even open the windows so he just needed to get the key to the outside and leave which he obviously did once he checked if everything on his house was fine... Once outside, he let out a joy-filled sigh, the daylight was perfect and the sun was already up so he should hurry and find some 'fighting spots' on some alleys first, then he should go straight to somewhere to eat... Probably try finding someone to talk and spend some time with... What about Yukio-Sensei? Nah... He would be busy with other things... So what about Rei-chan? N-No... She would be better if there would be music... Also, he doesn't know her that much to actually have her cell phone number... Well, what about Tadashi-Sensei? Probably a big no... Kiro doesn't even remember where he lives... Ugh, it was going to be boring to eat alone... Well, there was one he hadn't thought about yet... But the 'weird' Keifu would still be at her work... But still, it could get him some free food if he gives her a fox related something? Well... He could try but first, it was better to actually buy something and then check if she is in the store which made him go straight to Shokunin accessories just to find 'something fox related'.
