  • In the late 15th century, a dangerous magic brewed within the most secluded parts of Abia. It was a sacred magic that had been once used to try and bring back lost relatives in the hopes to give the grieving more time with their loved one, but ended in bloodshed. A necromancer uncovered the dark magic and casted it for power purposes. One resurrected soldier slaughtered a home, building the army to 4, then they slaughtered another home turning it to 9, and they continued their onslaught until the army turned to 100. The necromancer, however, did not survive long as a commander because the resurrected turned on them and mauled them to death. Unfortunately, one effect of the spell was that the caster would not return.

The Resurrected soldiers, known as simply “the Resurrected”, ran rampant around the country. Blades, arrows, axes, everything didn’t appear to work. They were seemingly unkillable, and in the end, it forced the remaining survivors to fall back and hide within an abandoned Duergar village underground. With only a handful left alive, mainly royalty and strong warriors, the survivors scrambled to figure out how they could survive against an army of that caliber and rebuild to what they had once been. Many had lost hope, others tries to remain positive. But, as the days drew on, the remaining individuals were beginning to starve.

Akiel, a Light elf Sorcerer and one of the legendary heroes, has an idea. He decides that to try and fix this devastating end, he will have to send two people back to kill the necromancer before this happened. Within Ilum, his sacred tome, was a spell that could rewind time to a random time within the year of the recipient’s choosing. How far the duo went back, no one knew.

Before the group could discuss who should be sent back, the doors to the underground village were torn down by the Resurrected. Leaving them with little time to decide, Akiel readied his children for the spell.

Akiel was shot with an arrow during the spell, but with his dying breath, finished it.

With the two now sent back in time, Akiel’s children work to try and build an army, locate the necromancer, and stop the ruined future from happening.

    Basic Country Information

Abia: A small country that values serenity over bloodshed. It is a peaceful territory that mainly keeps to itself but is welcoming to friendly travelers. Humans and Skinwalkers make up a huge portion of the demographic. While Abia is small, it is famous for raising the best warriors in the continent. Recently, the country has gone quiet. The current ruler is ?????

(For plot reasons, anyone from Abia will have to be out of the country on travels or something.)

Bludhaven: Past the high mountains lies a large country rumored to have been named by a blood Vampyre who had had a little too much to drink. Secluded from the other territories save for a few paths, Bludhaven is a land of safety for Vampyres, Dragons, and Beasts. Humans, Dwarves, and Elves are arrested on sight unless they have an escort with them. This is because slaves from Caeldra escape to this country and the citizens refuse to help slaveowners take back what never belonged to them. Sworn enemies of Caeldra and allies with Telahra. The current King is ((Claimed Role)).

Caeldra: A country where only the wealthiest hold power; a nobleman/woman’s dream. Only the rich will survive in this nation and at worst get away with a slap on the wrist by the nonexistent judgment system. Dragonkin, Vampyres, Beasts, and Skinwalkers kidnapped from their homes are usually brought to Caeldra’s islands to be sold as slaves or pets to the nobles. Bloodthirsty nobles may live their disgusting fantasies on slaves for purchase or on the poor. The current ruler is ?????

Crestcove: Performing arts and painters flourish in this nation. Those with dreams of being talented musicians, artists, or who just want to see the most striking shows in the continent come to Crestcove for entertainment. Skinwalkers mainly reside from here since this is where their abilities are most adored. Unfortunately, Crestcove citizens are incredibly hateful and prejudice against Beasts; believing them to be responsible for a mass genocide that occurred 30 years ago that the country is still recovering from. The current ruler is ?????

Eruna: The original birthing grounds of Dwarves and mainly dominated by this race. This land is full of plentiful stone resources and Eruna’s current ruler makes quite a fortune trading and selling with the other countries. Rivals Caeldra wealth-wise. The current ruler is ?????

Rosayea: A beautiful nation surrounded by many acres of trees known as the Celadon Forest. Elves make up this demographic and care for the plants and wildlife more than they care for their own children. They believe that their God, Voron, was the original creator of the lustrous forest and all life on the planet. They do not push their religion on others but only ask that their beliefs be respected. The current ruler is ?????

Telahra: A battle hungry territory awaiting their next challenger. This nation values strength and combat, seeing it as the most respectable part of a person. They hold competitions year-round to find the strongest warrior that can rule their country until the next contest, where a new ruler is crowned or the current’s reign continues. This country worships Dominarus, the Dragon God of Strength and believes that he is the ancestor to all the Dragonkin, whether fledgling or True Blood. They are the sworn enemies of Caeldra, since they help free slaves before they are sent to the islands. The current ruler is ?????

Vaea: A country that raises the best magic users. This nation is split between two religions; the individuals that follow their Goddess Asura, and the others that follow their Goddess Thyrsila. The country has been at civil war for these beliefs for 200 years. Intelligence is the most valuable trait for them. The current ruler is ??????

  • Barbarian: Strength based warrior of primitive background that loves a good fight. They prefer light or medium armor, shields, and can use any sharp or blunt object as a weapon.

Bard: A musician whose songs and talent inspires those around them. They play their preferred instrument, sing, or dance and may wield rapiers and/or bows for weapons.

Cleric: A divine healer who learned and uses magic in service to their God or just to help others. They prefer light armor, tomes, and staves.

Rogue: A thief who uses stealth and manipulation to get past various enemies and obstacles. Their skills are usually obtained due to poor backgrounds. Prefer light armor, daggers, and light swords.

Paladin: A strength based warrior who rides on horseback or on foot. They can use any armor and tends to prefer blades or clubs as their weapons.

Hunter: A speedy fighter that specializes in tracking animals, beasts, and humans. They prefer light armor, daggers, and bows.

Sorcerer: A fighter who uses magic against their foes. Their affinity towards which specific magic they specialize in varies heavily on race. They prefer light or medium armor, tomes, and light weapons

    .
Dragon: Dragonkin special class. A dragon form special to the person appearance, strength, and weakness-wise. Their preferred methods of attack are biting and their claws.

Beast: Beast special class. A form special to the person depending on their species. Their preferred methods of attack varies.

Custom: If you have a class in mind that I did not list, you can put it on your sheet with a description (can be long or short).

  • Human:

“In the reckonings of most worlds, humans are the youngest of the common races, late to arrive on the world scene and short-lived in comparison to dwarves, elves, and dragons. Perhaps it is because of their shorter lives that they strive to achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Or maybe they feel they have something to prove to the elder races, and that’s why they build their mighty empires on the foundation of conquest and trade. Whatever drives them, humans are the innovators, the achievers, and the pioneers of the worlds.”

Whether a human is born Pure or Marked is completely up to fate at birth.

~Pure – A normal human being that tends to be a wild card in regards to personality and talents. They are usually balanced and can learn any skill except Dark and Light magic. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

~Marked - A human with a symbol birthmark that resembles a dragon on any part of their body. These people are prophesized to be extremely dangerous since their magical potential could be devastating in the future. Those Marked are captured or killed upon sight; many either cut off or hide the mark somehow. They are naturally stronger and have a special talent in magic that makes wielding tomes dangerous. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

    Elves:

“Elves are people of otherworldly grace and ethereal beauty. They thrive on the recorded history of the world, literature, and hold a natural talent for magic. Elves love nature and magic, art and artistry, music and poetry, and the good things of the world.”

The types of elves birthed from parents do not need to be born from a Light or Dark Elf to be one. Neutral Elf parents can conceive a Dark Elf while a Dark and Light couple can birth a Neutral.

~Neutral – Neutral elves are only able to use Anima magic much like the rest of the world. They are light on their feet, which make them amazing at stealth and hunting, but hold no other special traits. They can live their lives as they please.

~Dark – Dark elves are able to use not just Anima magic, but hold a natural affinity for the Dark arts. They have access to the more dangerous spells at half the risk, but the user must hold a strong psyche to handle this type of magic. Overusage can result in insanity, bloodlust, and loss of health. Elves of Darkness also have a very slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

~Light – Light elves, like their counterpart, are able to use Anima magic but instead can use Light magic. They too have access to dangerous spells and may cast them at half the risk, but their magic drains them of their energy significantly more than normal magic. Overusage can result in fatigue, loss of health, or can even put the user in a coma if they are not careful. Elves of Light have a slim chance of obtaining a secret magical ability.

    Dwarves:

“Bold and hardy, dwarves are known as skilled warriors, miners, and workers of stone and metal. Though they stand well under 5 feet tall, dwarves are so broad and compact that they can weigh as much as a human standing nearly two feet taller. Their courage and endurance are also well known among the other races. Both male and female dwarves can grow beards and value them, often taking great care and grooming them carefully.”

~Surfacer: Surfacer dwarves are dwarves that live above ground. They are tanner, healthier in appearance, and far more outgoing than their Duergar counterparts. Though they are skilled in mining, Duergar’s skill surpasses them completely. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

~Duergar: Duergar dwarves dwell in their underground, rarely leaving their homes save for food or to sell their bountiful resources. They excel in mining, resource gathering of any kind, and tend to have a large fortune to their name or their family. However, they are pale in color and appear sickly due to their lack of sun. They are adjusted for darker environments, which is why they tend to appear very early morning or in the evening. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

    Beasts:

“Strong and usually feral, Beasts are humans with the ability to transform into their animal counterparts. They usually vary in animalistic features, but they will never be anthropomorphic. They hold tough skin and can withstand attacks well. Their strength and durability is only rivaled by their (usually) lack of magical talent.”

~Megafauna – Megafauna, like the True Breed Dragonkin, are a larger, stronger version of their animal counterpart. Their forms are more taxing on their bodies and they are worth a lot more than regular Fauna as pelts and slaves in Caeldra. Megafauna are rare within the Beasts due to poachers hunting them down. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

~Fauna – Fauna are normal Beasts that only grow as large and strong as their animal counterpart. Their forms are not as taxing as Megafauna, but they are not as powerful. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

    Skinwalkers:

“Skinwalkers are naturals at stealth and may or may not hold the same appearance they did at birth. They appear human but have grayish brown skin. Skinwalkers are able to take the form of anything organic, but they do not gain that form’s abilities as the real one would have. A Skinwalker who takes the form of a lion will not have the strength and speed of a lion.”

~Skinwalkers do not have subraces. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

    Vampyres:

“Beings of the night that feed on other people, which is why they are called parasites by anyone who despises them. They are magically gifted in water Anima magic and are naturally strong physically. A lot of vampyres become healers or Sorcerers because of their magical talent. Members with a hair color other than a crimson/deep red are nonexistent.”

~Blood – Blood vampyres simply rely on blood to be at their full potential. They require at least 10 ounces of another being’s blood a day to function properly. If they do not receive their necessary amount, they suffer from dehydration. If the vampyre does not receive their blood in 2 weeks, they will die. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

~Psychic: They work like blood vampyres, except they rely on psychic energy. This means the vampyres feed off a person’s emotions, spirituality, mental illnesses, and any type of thought. Solitude is a death sentence for this vampyre, If they are alone for a week, they will die. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

    Dragonkin:

~Fledgling: Fledgling are normal dragonkin that only grow as large and strong as a wyvern. Their forms are not as taxing as True Breeds, but they are not as powerful. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

~True Breed: True Breeds, like the Megafauna, are a larger, stronger version of their Fledgling counterpart. Their forms are more taxing on their bodies and they are worth a lot more than Megafauna, as decorations and slaves in Caeldra. True Breeds are the rarest within the Dragonkin due to how many hunters and poachers want their everything. They have a slim chance of obtaining a special ability.

    Half-Breeds:

~ Half-breeds are a mix of two races. They are born with one race’s abilities/talents and cannot have two abilities at the same time.

  • It will be possible to romance and marry another player’s character or an NPC of your choice (though I will roll for the NPC’s willingness to be in a relationship). Romantic opportunities will appear at times that can become a sexual rendezvous or an embarrassing time for both parties depending on the situation.

It is possible to instantly marry someone you just met. In this world, while dating is a thing, a lot of individuals don’t really see it as “necessary”; especially the older generation. Many of the older folks married simply because they confused their crushes for love and stayed married despite their feelings dwindling over the years. The younger generation has taken dating more seriously and many refuse to marry simply because.

It is also possible to get any character pregnant in the future due to a sacred spell that is used for gay/lesbian royalty and nobility couples to have an heir, but for right now only male/female couples can have children.
