Personality:
Being young, there isn't much that's known about Akira's personality. The bit that is known about her is that she is very loyal, a bit gullible, quiet, thoughtful, and cautious. Despite being a pup, she had experienced a lot that had snuffed out her puppy tendencies, such as being energetic and playful. However, even though she is more hesitant than most, Akira can easily warm up to others, as she's still young and gullible.
Not seeing other dogs save for her litter mates, Akira is on the more cautious side when it comes to other dogs that may pose as a threat. Because of this, she may seem off-putting or aloof when in actuality, she is reading the situation and gauging the new dog's actions. This characteristic is relatively new after the disappearance of the humans since she still has no idea what's been happening, but knows that it's not good.
Akira is also very loyal, and though she is young, she knows that with those she cares about, she would do anything to protect them. This also means fighting if she needs to, and becoming a barrier to protect others from attacks. Though it's never happened before, Akira's loyalty has no bounds. Being a more quiet pup, the tendency to suddenly act out is out of the question; she is thoughtful and self aware, often becoming a silent threat to others who may be dangerous.
Notable Strengths/Skills: Being loyal and extremely observant, Akira can easily be used to her full potential in a pack once she grows older. However, despite only being 7 months old, she has a relatively firm grasp on these strengths and would be easy to train. Also being a German Shepherd, she has the genetics to run very fast, although that will be noticed more at an older age.
Weaknesses: Gullible (will change once she's older), lack of knowledge about the outside, distrusting of new people
History:
Ever since she was born, Akira was around the presence of humans. Her human owners were Native American and were part of a cultural group in the city. Akira was born in the home, her mother a beautiful black color with the kindest eyes. Growing up, she ran around with three other pups, all of which were supposed to be sent to other homes eventually. Akira was to be kept where she was, as she was a beautiful blue color. Her owners were in love at first sight, at least, that's what she had learned the more she heard them talk.
However, the happy times she had been surrounded with for the past four months suddenly disappeared. Akira remembered the day clearly, like it happened only days ago. Her owners had placed new collars around her and her siblings' necks, stating to them that they'd be back soon. Not quite sure what it was about, Akira turned to her mother who clarified that she was going to the vet for a check-up. Then, they were gone. Akira and her siblings waited. And waited. There was still no sign of their family, and soon, the pups began to get worried.
Soon enough, two months passed. It was a sad and achingly painful two months, as her brothers and sisters began to grow sick one by one, until there was only Akira left. With no way to leave the apartment, her only company is her deceased siblings, to which she refuses to look at. With her hope growing thinner and thinner, Akira now lays in the far corner of her owner's room, hoping that their scent never disappears. It was the only way she could keep the strength to keep waiting. Surely... there would be a way for her to leave one day.
