Personality: Jacob is free spirited and a bit selfish, but not usually with his Pokemon. He doesn't like to be bothered with conflict and he lets others fight their own fights. He can be brief in social interactions and he has a pretty selective attention. Jaykee hates his nickname, but has learned to cope from the relentless amount of times he's been called it.
He isn't needy nor does he like the entitled authority older kids seem to think they have. However he has a child-like curiosity especially of grass type Pokemon and he plans to build a marvelous garden one day filled with them. Jacob is a glutton for punishment, yet he most often finds himself getting into sticky situations rather than purposefully causing them. He sometimes can get too obsessive which others may find annoying, but it's just in his nature.
Bio: Jacob was born and raised in Keukelo to a mother he never knew and his father a former member of the Elite Four of another region. He and his sister were always close and he helps take care of her when he can after she became ill. His sister is too sick to leave the house, so Jacob would bring her different flowers and gifts from the outside everyday. As his older sister, she practically helped raise Jacob, before she became sick, as a mother figure since they're mother was missing. With his hands full of duties at home, Jacob didn't have time to play or make friends so he kept himself entertained.
While taking a walk around the city to find more gifts for his sister, Jacob is made aware of the noisy attention coming from the daycare, and goes there to investigate. He discovers the trainees and learns of their assignment which he finds interest in. Once meeting the other trainees and one that shares his interest with grass types, Jacob soon decides that he will sign up as a gym initiate.

Leolunan Butterfree "Enora"
Enora was caught as a Leolunan Caterpie in the Ichi forest of Keukelo located on a high cliff. As his very first catch, Jacob spent all of his time and attention training only her in order to evolve her faster. Despite his future epiphany to become a grass trainee, Enora is his one exception to his team as he uses her as a pollinator to attract grass types.
Bulbasaur "Bulby"
Bulby will be discovered at Happy Eggs daycare as a newborn Bulbasaur. Jacob was always attached to his father's Bulbasaur that later on evolved all the way to its final form for his father's team. Jacob vowed to catch his very own bulbasaur and will be ecstatic to see that he will be getting one way sooner than he was expecting.
