Paint It Crimson

Logan saluted the commander as he relaxed in the back seat. Green eyes stared out the window in thought. He fiddled some with one of his toys. He had rigged bouncy ball grenades. Three bounces then boom. The one he was fiddling with was green it hit in his palm perfectly. He had a bunch of them in one of his pockets of vrying sizes. He liked to toy around with his explosives.

"What files are we lookin' for he asked?" His gaze didn't move from where it was focused.

"Supposedly, the Sargent Major is in a convoy to transport blueprints for a Quark Bomb. Acts much like a Nuclear bomb, but more stable, more damaging to immediate area, no residual radiation that slowly kills the surrounding fauna. We are to intercept the plans take out the one man who has the security clearance to look at them, steal the files, his ID, and get back to base. If we do it right, the blame will fall to the Comachi troops. The Borcheviks will take on the Italian Bastards in war, and we will have the ultimate weapon to wipe them out at the precise moment. Only thing is, the suitcase had a fail safe that destroyed the documents as soon as they got too far outside the Convoy zone. Am I understood as to why General Ginko did not get his hands on the plans for the Quark Bomb when we came home from the mission?" He was hinting that they were going to fake the destruction of the documents, and not let the General get them, and he hoped his team was smart enough to catch on to that. If not, he could just lay it flat on the table.

she smriked "smart idea" she looked over at him with eyes that said she knew what he was talking about. "so what happens when we get the documents but ther the fake if they have one and the general finds out we run for are live and hope he dose not kil us?" she was hoping her hint was telling him that what happenedif the General finds out a bout his little plan. know the Genersl he would kill tham before they even got the chance to.

Logan hm's in response, catching on to the commanders plans. His green eyes still strayed out the window.
"If comes after us, we turn around and kill anyone who's dumb enough to try and take us out." He answered Reaper. an amused smile glittered over his face for a few seconds. He had confidance that they could handle any team on team kind of combat, even if the team was bigger.

Ajax looked back for a second or two at his team. "Exactly."

An hour later, they arrived at the clearing in the jungle, where he parked the Jeep so as not to be seen. He pulled up Dalia and Fel. "Dalia, where's that Bird's eye? Fel, Status report. How tight are patrols in the area?"

She had set up on a ridge, she had her goggles zoomed in as she took in the complex. She brought her goggles back into 1x and began to make her way down. "Twelve Patrols of two men. Four patrols on the perimeter. Four around the main complex. Two patrols around the Armory, one patrol near some unmarked tents, and one patrol by the hangers. There are four guards at the main entrance, two in sniper nests, one manning a concrete booth and the last is on a HMG behind some sand bags. There are two twenty man barracks set up on site. Only twenty-eight soldiers are accounted for. Officer count is unknown, no sign of target. Currently moving in to get a closer look." As she stopped talking she reached the bottom and silently moved through some trees. She wasn't far from the chain link fence, but well out of sight with the thick jungle foliage. She was silent as she attempted to see what was in the unmarked tents, but they were on the other side of the complex and had no clear view. She sat down in the brush keeping an eye on the workings in the base and ready to report on any change in the climate, though her eyes kept glancing upward hoping to see Dalia's drone in the sky. For now she would wait for additional orders.

Dalia watched Fel go silently, sending with her a non spoken good luck wish. Then once everyone was out of her room she pulled off her sun glasses, clicked the off, and set them on the desk close to her. Darkness enveloped her vision but, she did need sight to know what her eyes looked like. One day she had made the mistake of using the camera on her glasses to see what she looked like, what she had seem shocked her. She remembered that the doctor had told her that there would be some scarring from whatever chemical took her sight but, she had never expected that it would look like what it did. Scars zig zagged over her eyes, as though someone had layered a thick white spider web over her eyes. The effect was startling as the white tendrils snaked this was and that over her dark brown pupils.
But, there was no time to thick of that now as Dalia leaned back in her seat, carefully resting her head against the head rest before pulling the little semicircular strip of metal over. As it got close to her skull she could feel it grab at the magnets, that were implanted under her skin, pulling the thing tight against her.
"System feed transfer to chair." She said clearly. She could her the computer give a soft beep of consent before everything flashed into life. For a few moments it was like having her brain dirrectly plugged into the computer screens flashed in front of her eyes reading off everything from the amount of fuel in the drone to the weather patterns outside. Then i all switched to the drones onboard camera.
"Engines are hot and we are a go." She called out into the communicator as she steered the great wwar machine outside. The nice thing about these modern aircraft was that they required almost no runway and after letting a few moments for the engines to reach to appropiate speed she pushed it into the sky. It was a bit like playing a video game, although in this one the rounds were live and there was no save and to restart button. It did not take long for her to reach the base once she reached a good cruising height.
"Sending you a postcard." Dalia said over the com, her fingers twitching signallingthe computer to link the rest of the group into what she was seeing. Sending a postcard was a silly little saying she had come up with a while ago when someone asked what it looked like up there, her reply had been that it was the best view in the world and one of the group had asked "Like a postcard?" and so now every time she linked the group in she called it sending a postcard. Hearing what Fel had said she replied "Hold on I am switching to thermals now, should be able to get agood view." The screen immediatly switched from full color to mostly darker shades of blue, a few bright red figures clearing showing up where Fel had said the would be.

Ajax thought for a moment before replying. "Alright, do a perimeter sweep, find out what's in those tents. Give us the green light when you find out where the Sargent Major is, if at all. And remember, you are a ghost. If anyone sees you, thinks they see you, or gets too suspicious, take 'em out quietly and hide the body. On this particular mission, the less action we see, the better."

The video feed link popped up on the teams COMs and sent them the view from the drone. "There it is! Ah, what a view. Thanks, Dalia." He turned to Logan and Reaper. "Alright, as soon as Fel says go, we move in and get done what we came here for."

she noddes and gets her gun ready and takes out a gum to chew on she was scared as hell that she was going to do this they dont know that evil basterd as she did. one day she will ripe that mother f***ers head offbut not dotody or the day after that she was going to beon the run after but its not like its her first time anyways. she cant wait

Ajax could see the fire in Reapers eyes. It hinted at a past deeper than he could have imagined. "Personal vendetta against Sargent Major Gorvan?" he asked almost not wanting to hear the story, but so interested he had to. Sometimes, he hated being curious.

She was silent a moment, Ajax had called her a ghost. Though clearly he was simply telling her to be unseen, she still whispered lightly into her com. "I am Fel." With no more direction she was moving, the chain link fence had barbed wire on top, which proved to be easily surmountable by clever use of her fatigue shirt. Quickly she removed it throwing it on the top she had made previously sure that the coast was clear so she quickly vaulted up before quickly removing her shirt from the fence, placing it back on her person. Quickly and quietly she began to move through the complex.

She approached the barracks first, being as it was on the way to the un-marked tents, hell if she was lucky the target would be in there giving a speech. She peered in quickly, but the barracks was devoid of life. After taking a few minutes to wait for the patrols to pass she continued on. Both barracks were empty, which didn't leave Fel with a very good feeling. She reached the corner before looking across. There was a wide area she'd have to cross she had to bide her time. Once the coast was clear she bolted across the road. She made her way around and looked into the tents. There was two men standing guard. One looking each way. She was silent a few moments listening to the two of them talking. What ever was in the tents wasn't visible, all she could see were metal crate like objects.

They seemed reminiscent of the casings that would be used to transport warheads. She began to get the feeling she knew what was in there. But she kept quiet for a few moments as she decided on the approach. She heard light foot steps coming her way, she knew it was one of the patrols. She backed up, placing herself just around a crate waiting for the two to approach. As they passed the crate she was silent, just on the other side of the tent tarp she knew one of the soldiers stood. She had an idea, she withdrew her sword, held it in-front of her and tapped lightly on the tarp. Quickly she switched to heat vision in her goggles on. The two on the inside had taken notice. The two bickered quickly about who would check it out, before long the man closer to her began to walk toward her six. She had to move quickly. She switched off the heat vision and quickly maneuvered to the other side of the tent. The one was just watching the other pass around the corner of the tent. But Fel moved up quickly behind him, placing a sword in his throat. He attempted to let out some sort of gurgling but her hand covered his mouth promptly.

She let the body down slow, stashing it in between two of the metal crates. The soldier was returning, opposite the way he exited, he looked up to notice his partner wasn't their. He looked out the way toward the main complex and when he did she took her chance, quickly she ran up, placing her hand over his mouth allowing her to quickly place a hard jab into his temple. She dragged the body laying it over top of the other one. She removed her sword again and put it through the unconscious one's eye and into his brain. Quietly she moved over to where she had stabbed the first one, using her hand to stir up the dirt and cover the blood that had been left, before promptly switching the video feed in her goggles on. She carefully opened one of the cases scanning over it. It looked like a bomb, in fact she had a feeling it was a prototype of the weapon they were attempting to steal the blueprints of. "Dalia... What do you think?" Fel knew that Dalia would probably already be patching the feed to Ajax, if she hadn't already.

she smirks "something like that but i dont want to bored you with the story" she hated telling it and hoped she saw this aholes face ether. "i hate all sargents Ganrels and ect not sholders or comanders your the reson why sir. i use to hare everyone but hey help me out" she smirks at the first day

she tried to kil him on her first day she was pissed of at something she forgets. but he showd her that not everyones evil

"hey sir do you remaber why i tryed to kill you on my first day?" she looks over to him and blowsa bubble then pops it.

Ajax stared off into space for a minute. "Something about being a controlling, hateful bastard who sent his troops to die or some shit." He shook his head and laughed a bit. "Craziest fuckin' day I had that year."

He looked down at his communicator. "Fell, find out what's in the tents yet?"

she laughed wih him "i was pretty mes up in the begaing still am tho" she smirks at her atmeped of humer. "i would what they think right now about" she said to herself hoping no one noitce her she closed her eyesand soon ell asleep

she was smiling with her brother playingin the feilds behind her vilage she alwaysbplayed there ther where flowers and her favrote tree she alway climbs then the seane change and her vilage was distoryed and her home too 'NOOO'

she wakes up yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOO"

Ajax looks over at Reaper. "Soldier, calm down. We are here to kill and steal, not take a nap that makes us yell and give away our position! Get it together!" He looks back down at his COM. "C'mon Fel, I need that green light."

Fel had sent the footage of the armaments to Dalia but by the sound of Ajax on the com indicated she need to get a move on, she decided she would relay what information she knew. She was sneaking toward the main complex now. "The tents contain some sort of device, I'm not sure what it is. Dalia has the feed." She continued pressing against the wall looking into the main structure. She wouldn't be going in the front way, she immediately began around the building, she'd need to go in an alternate way. "The barracks are all completely empty, the only places the soldiers could be are the hangers on the east side or the main structure unless they're out on assignment. Do I have five?" She had asked in such a manner before, she was referring to minutes. Even if she didn't she couldn't in confidence give the green light just yet.

Logan let the people around them do their jobs. He was still zoning out in the back of the jeep. However, Reapers yell did make him twitch as he repressed the urge to jump a bit. He gave her a light glare while wondering how much chaos he could cause with a water gun at that moment. Gazing back out his window he listened to Ajax talk on the com device. His fingers still fiddled with his bouncy grenade ball. His senses where starting to sharpen as he waited for the green light, his mind running back over what he had with him and their stats. His fingers on his right hand twitched and he glanced up at the commander, almost willing the minutes to pass by faster. Excitement, that's what was building up. He turned his head again to observe the surrounding jungle. His fingers twitched again before he put the bouncy grenade up so he didn't set it up accidently in the jeep. His hands went to stroke the metal of the two desert eagles at his side, yea, they may be a little old school, but he adored them anyways. They and he, well there was history between the two.

"Hold on let me take a look." Dalia said as Fel sent her the tape of what she had found. Gently tapping with her index finger and tracing out a half circle she engaged the drones auto pilot before pulling up the feed. For a second she just fiddled with the picture getting it as clear as humanly possible before she nearly jumped out of her seat.
"Jesus! There is enough fire power in this tent to flatten the base." She a bit of panic entering her voice. The fact that they were prototypes did not make her feel any better, prototypes had a long notorious history of being very unstable. She was about to call the whole mission off when she noticed something stamped on the side of the box. Each box was marked for easy identification the mark usually consisting of a bar code, the weapons status, and model number. The box that she could see was marked with an uppercase E, an uppercase P, and the number 008.
"Phew, false alarm, these are just the shells. Looks like this is the last stop before they send them to be armed." Although she was relieved that these were harmless (the enemy could still chuck them at you but, the worse you would get is a bruise), she was concerned with the amount of empty shells, and the fact that they were already starting to manufacture them. Her one consolation was that the barcode on the boxes was very low, indicating that this was the fist real batch.

Fel was glad to hear that the devices weren't primed for use. She would have guessed that the shells were going to get sent to get armed before being tested. Though this seemed like a few more than necessary just for tests. But she didn't really have time to theorize as to what they would be doing with them. At the moment she had to focus on getting into the building. Around back she found a door, but she needed an ID card to access it. She smiled to herself, she'd just pull one off one of the men on patrol. She prepped herself around a corner, knowing that her time was limited, Ajax wanted things to get underway and the bodies she left hidden in between the crates wouldn't stay that way for ever. She reached into her coat, fiddling with her belt for a second before pulling out a small tazer, it wasn't very powerful but it would get what she needed done. She held the tazer in her right hand and her sword in her left. As she saw the boots of the first soldier she spun around the corner, implanting her sword in the eye of the first as her right hand reached around and passed him and put a shock on the other. She quickly removed her sword from the mans eye socket before placing a hard foot down and cutting the other. There was a little blood on the grass. She knelt over, quickly procuring the key cards from the retractable cables they were attached to. She put her sword in its sheath before reaching down and grabbing the drag handles on each of their vests. She had no place to hide them out here so she'd need to bring them in and find somewhere to put them. She placed the card up to the scanner, which promptly accepted allowing her to open the door. She peeked in, no one was in the immediate area. It appeared to be the officers quarters. She smiled at herself as she quickly stashed the bodies under two of the beds. She had a feeling she'd find what she needed around here. Taking quick looks in bags and drawers brought the results she needed. A letter had been dispatched to all officers, there was to be a meeting. According to the time labeled in the letter they would just be getting seated and getting started. She turned on her Com opening the frequency to Ajax. "The Target is on the third floor, conference C, No visual." She stated to let him know this wasn't a first hand account. Of course the note said nothing about the intel. "She's all green." Fel had a feeling she would be requested to search for the intel while the rest of the team took out the target. Which was fine with her, in fact she sort have preferred it like that.
