Alright everyone! The Character Sheets, Trope Rolls, and the Character Sheets for my Characters have all been completed. You are now free to work on your character sheets to your leisure. The hope is to start the In Character by the end of this weekend on November 11th to have the RP ambitiously Conclude on December 2nd.

This CS may be a bit of a doosy, so (since everyone is already on that discord) be sure to use the discord if you have any issues - as well as to set up your relationship shenanigans.

How does Signups Work?
The signups for Owari are Simple! Probably.

Step 1: Make your Initial Roll!
Post your Pre-Signup and make your rolls in the Interest Check.

Step 2: Post your Character Sheet as a Draft or Completed!
Post your character sheet in the Interest Thread as well (keep it separate from your original interest roll)! filling out as many relationships as you can. After your character sheet is posted/drafted be sure to Tag Ehb. You will be sent an invite link into the Discord via Iwaku PM to simplify communication. Note that not all character relationships need to be completed at that time.

-> Be Sure to collaborate with others in the Discord on your characters' relationships with one another, and leave a rating on CS's you feel satisfied with.
-> Also Roll a [ three sided die ] x [ one time ]. A second accidental roll CAN HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE RESULT! This will decide your Summoner Character's Support Skill.

  • Roll a 1 - Damage Taker Decreaser : When your great spirit takes damage, roll a [ two sided die ] x [ once ]. If you roll a 2. Divide damage taken in half (rounding up). If you roll 1, take double the damage. Your Spirit cannot attack the post you use this support.
  • Roll a 2 - Damage Transfer to Party : When your great spirit has damage, roll a [ # players sided die ] x [ once ]. If you roll on a non-incapacitated player, you can then roll a [ one die ] x [ current damage to spirit ]. Based on the [ result ] decrease your damage by that amount, then increase the damage of the non-incapacitated player by the same [ result ]. If you roll on a player whose remaining damage is less than or equal to the damage you took, you take double damage. Your spirit cannot attack the post you use this support.
  • Roll a 3 - Damage Infliction Increaser : When your spirit attacks and inflicts damage, roll a [ two sided die ] x [ once ]. If you roll a 2, double the damage you inflict on your target foe. If you roll a 1, damage dealt becomes 0%.
  • Roll doubles ( two of the same ) - Damage Transfer To Enemy : When your great spirit has damage, you can then roll a [ one die ] x [ current damage to spirit ]. Based on the [ result ] decrease your damage by that amount, then increase the damage a foe of your choice by [ result ]. Your spirit cannot attack the post you use this support.
  • Fail to roll doubles ( Roll twice but they're different ) - Short Circuit Sacrifice : Roll [ One die ] x [ current Manifestation Amount of Enemy ]. Inflict damage to the enemy by [ Result ]. Then, your Summoner is knocked out.

Step 3: Ehb Reviews... and Awaits Completion of all Sheets and Relationships
Character sheets are reviewed. Ehb will be looking for completion of all of the sections, and your inputs into things your pair 'did' in the story to build this 'endgame' narrative as best as they can.

Step 4: After all sheets and relationships are done...
Ehb Posts the RP, and it has a hard one month end date. Additionally, points for "Pair Combat Attributes" will be rewarded based upon the average quality of relationship details.

Blank Character Sheet

This is the Character sheet for Owari no Sekai. The aim is to have enough detail for your characters available to allow the others space to imagine that they too have been on an adventure with them for an entire story. As you will find, your character's strength will be based upon the growth they experienced with the others on this journey, and the depth of their relationships.

In the following post, the completed sheet for Nozomi Yuri and Tsubaha Mori is availible to look at as an example.

[Section 1 - General Information]

Character Type: Summoner OR Spirit
Character Name:
(First Name, Last Name Format this Time)
Character Color Code: (The Color Code you Reserved in the Interest Thread)
Appearance: (Picture - ideally Anime - of Appearance)

Race: (If your character was a particular fantasy race just put the name here and be sure to mention details about it in parts of your bio.)
Gender: (Self Explanatory)
Age: (Their age Before Arrival to Limbo, disregarding the time they may have been stuck in Limbo)
Roleplay of Origin: (RP your character came from. Ideally linking their character sheet in their original RP. Again, do be sure to mention if it's an old or now buggy website as courtesy to the others)

(Extra Optional)
Character Voice: If you happened to have a voice actor in mind. Consider linking a youtube clip here.

[Section 2 - Character Details (One for BOTH Summoner and Spirit)]

Personality Summary:
(The character's personality summarized. Their development within the setting as well as the Dynamics of their Summoner - Great Spirit relationship can be mentioned in summary, here.)

Likes: (at least 3)
Dislikes: (at least 3)
Proud of: (at least 2)
Ashamed of: (at least 2)
Fears: (at least 2 - Nothing is Still Invalid)

Bio (Original Setting): (A description of the character up until they arrived in limbo. Giving hints at their original RP, how they may have progressed since then, as well as how their world might've been destroyed.)

Bio (In Limbo): (This is the section of their bio that describes the character 'story' of Owaru no Sekai up to this point. Describing how they met and joined the party, and things that they've contributed to the party in terms of story. Is is here where you'd be sticking in the 'Tropes Exercise' parts.)

[Section 3a - Abilities (Summoners Only)]

Bond to Party:
(Imported from the Interest Check, use as a guide)
Performance Rank: (*Ditto)

Ideology: (I know it's a bit odd here - the Ideology of your summoner is the ideology your spirit will follow by default)

Skills + Equipment: (Mostly for Flavor, what things are they good at that helps them in Limbo? What belongings do they lug around maybe?)

Support Skill: (Your Character's Support Skill, based upon the roll you made.)

[Section 3b - Abilities (Great Spirits Only)]

Weapon:
(Your Character's Primary Weapon(s) they use in battle)

Skills + Equipment: (At this stage mostly for flavor, describes traits of their combat style, their talents, and equipment they use in battle)

[Section 4 - Relationships (For Both Characters)]

This section includes your characters' relationships to the others in the story. Describing the thoughts and feelings as well as sort of summarizing the sorts of things they've gone through up until this point. Note that the relationship section applies to both characters in order to not force you to write relationship lists for both your summoner and spirit. But it also makes sense as the two of them are always together anyway.

It is worth noting that the quality of your Relationship Entries will have an effect on the amount of points that you can spend on upgrading your character's attributes. Of course, the attributes have no real effect in the RP's battle mechanics, and are just merely there for bragging rights!

Note that while not all of your relationships needs to be completed in order to have a character pair accepted, relationships DO need to be completed for everyone in order to start the RP's IC Thread.

Relationship to another Pair: Blah Blah
Relationship to another Pair: Blah Blah Blug
Relationship to another Pair: Blah^2
....*

Tropes Exercise (Optional): (If you did the tropes exercise, list the tropes in here and explain quickly how you squeezed them in. This is mostly as your own personal check, and to help out Ehb who has to find out how to turn them into titles for your characters!)

[Section 5 - Pair Combat Attributes (For Both Characters)]

DO NOT COMPLETE UNTIL AFTER EHB OK'S THE REST OF YOUR PROFILE, AND YOU'VE ALLOWED THE OTHERS TO LOOK THROUGH YOURS TO WRITE RELATIONSHIPS!

This section describes the apparent attributes of your pair. The strength of a summoner and spirit is greater than the sum of their parts. As such this section does not solely describe the spirits' individual strength, but rather the effectiveness of how your pair work as a team.

All your skills start at the lowest F ranking. But only require a single point in order to upgrade to the next rank. Going from F->D->C->B->A->SP it takes a total of 5 Points to fully upgrade an attribute.

Note that due to the time restrictions of the RP these stats exist solely for flavor. However their use for game-play purposes in what would've been a full version of this RP remain!

Attributes:
Manifestation -
The amount of damage your spirit can take before they are automatically de-summoned for safety. Analagous to HP.
Power - The apparent strength of your character pair which is a combination of their magic and physical ability. When you roll a die against an opponent this decides the maximum amount of damage you can inflict.
Intuition - The intelligence of your character pair in coming up with ideas on the fly. Points can be used in this section for special rolls and situations for unorthodoxy plays!
Agility - The speed of your character pair. Agility can be spent in order to perform actions such as attacking before a foe can react!

(Extra Optional)
Team Battle Theme
- The Battle Theme of Your Characters in Combat for extra spicy flavor.

I am definitely not as (or ever was) format wizard-y as I used be so you can reformat to your liking if you want it to look prettier.

[Yuri Nozomi : Character Details]

Personality

Proper and polite, Yuri has always been thought of as an upstanding student.

She always seems so willing to lend out a hand to the best of her abilility, especially when it comes to listening to and working with them on their personal problems. For that reason, the common consensus about her is that she carries herself immaculately - and the truth is that she is indeed quite good at it. However, as the party found out, this facade she put up around herself left her feeling isolated. To add on to that, she has her own personal troubles and haunting pasts that she only keeps at bay by working herself fully in other tasks to keep her mind off of.

At one point in the story, she did break. After being defeated in battle, and having her past as a murderer revealed to everyone by the Clairvoyant Summoner Kuuyari, she broke down. She retreated all the way back to her home patchwork and locked herself away. Seeming to break down completely. It was only thanks to her party coming to find her and talk her through it that she was able to come back. At this point in the story, she wants to repay everyone's kindness and defeat Fatuita in order to move forward!

Likes:

  • Nice Weather - While weather in Limbo works in mysterious ways, there are locations where days seem to be always sunny and pleasant. Yuri's been known to be hesitant on going to worlds where weather is known to be muggy, and has been known to drag her feet a little when leaving more pleasant destinations. One of her first comments in a new world tends to always involve how the weather is.
  • Her Friends - Originally, Yuri had been expecting to work mostly alone as a summoner. However, her journey with her friends has made her very invested in their well being. She's happy she's been able to open up to people more than she she had been able to before.
  • Fantasy Settings - If it has castles, old timey farms, and people in armor walking around with swords and in armor, Yuri feels like she's living out the anime she used watch in home. She uses her Great Spirit Tsubaha to project her role-playing fantasies, much to the latter's chargin.

Dislikes:

  • Rainy Weather - One time, the party arrived from a world that was literally full of volcanoes and lava. Yuri started to voice out complaints that the current one they arrived in was raining - much to everyone's dismay.
  • 'Flashy' Clothing - Some fantasy settings require characters to show more skin due to things such as magical tattoos needing to be exposed or to allow for better moment, or simply due to the environment. Such outfits (or lack thereof) makes Yuri very uncomfortable.
  • Inter-Party Strife - Not everyone in the party always got along with each other. She can't quite stomach hearing them argue over things so she's more often than not ended up butting in to try resolving it with varying levels of success.

Proud of:

  • Employee of the Week - Yuri once infiltrated an office of the Restoration Ideology wearing one of their uniforms in order to help the others retrieve a Key Fragment. She was no help as the party found their own way in. However, at the rendezvous point Yuri apologized but gleefully presented her employee of the week receipt that allowed for a free menu item at the cafeteria. Tsubaha says Yuri had it framed later.
  • Cooking Skill - She's done a big share of the cooking during the trip. Nowadays, thanks to experience and a stash of spices she carries, she can make pretty much anything taste good.

Ashamed of:

  • Her Chunnibyou - 7th Grade Syndrome, or Nerding Out. While normally reserved and polite there are times when Yuri's interest in a topic such as interesting outfits or cool fantasy tech and magic causes her to lose all formality and revert to her babbling, nerdy, theater club middle school self. She still wants to pretend that her Chunnibyou is kept under lock and key but everyone already knows. The fact that her physical appearance always seems to stay as her middle school self only adds to the shame for her.
  • Letting Herself Get Dragged into Things - While she's always convinced herself that she is very inconvenienced by helping other people all the time, the simple truth is that she can't help herself to say no or ignore them. She can't seem to understand why she always likes to mentally complain about it when she's always willingly subjecting herself to it. It's been even worse lately as her party has certainly gotten dragged in along with her into one side-story on more than one occasion.

Fears:

  • Platforming and Obstacles: Yuri is not the most physical of the party. Because Tsubaha is actually smaller than her, even her great spirit has trouble carrying her around when they need to make jumps between bamboo polls or run through corridors with moving saw-blades. Each experience has been borderline traumatizing.
  • Rainy Day Trigger: As the party discovered, Yuri isn't as perfect or kind as her facade puts up. There was a time when a part of her was capable of taking other people's lives, leading this dark second life as she lived her days trying to be an upstanding student. For a long time, she'd struggled between the upstanding person she wanted to be, and the dark person she seemed so naturally inclined to be.

Bio (Original Setting):

Yuri was previously from a more peaceful version of Earth. As a student, she was a part of the 'Social Morals Committee', a nationwide mandate that used upstanding students in order to assist their fellow students in times of trouble and to assist growing everyone into productive members of society.

Nozomi herself was once a rambunctious character in middle school who was obsessed with nothing but anime and acting out her flamboyant fantasies with others. However, at the suggestion of a fellow Social Morals member in that school, she decided to straighten up her life. In time - she even became embarrassed of the person she used to be. She was haunted by a trauma that occurred to her before she entered middle school, however, she did her very best in order to hide it.

She has a hard time remembering exactly what went wrong on her version of Earth. All she can remember from those last years is attending High School like normal. Helping people as a part of the Social Morals Clubs, and the few notable incidents she had to help resolve between students. She remembers people wanting to help her, but her being too cold and formal to be able to accept it.

Bio (In Limbo):

The arrival to Limbo was confusing, then ultimately horrifying. Their world Patchwork, Earth Hotel-India was soley composed of the Hisakawa School campus and the immediate shopping area, dorms, and apartments around it. The world was surrounded by this large mist, and anyone who entered that mist reported horrors on the other side, or never returned at all. Yuri carried out her duties as Social Morals Officer trying to hold down students' emotional breakdowns and hysteria. After first contact with the Ideologies, Yuri also helped form the world's governing board in an attempt to restore order, and help everyone make sense of their new situation. Eventually, some individuals began to discover their ability to Summon, and were thusly allowed passage to another world in order to be trained in that skill. Yuri herself found herself to be a Summoner when she in her sleep, she dreamed of having an encounter with her Great Spirit, Tsubaha Mori. Forming the bond.

Yuri trained hard to be a competent Sumonner. Egged on by the commands of the 'Little Empress' and also in order to keep her mind off of being sent into Limbo. She Graduated as top 13 in her class of some 500 individuals. Those top thirteen had the fortune (or misfortune) of being more aggressively recruited into one of the ideologies (whereas most of the rest were sent back to safeguard their own worlds or go independent). Yuri ultimately chose to follow the Unification Ideology, which would give her a chance to see the all the worlds of Limbo and even find new ones as one of the Ideology's Scouts.

Her story in Limbo truly began when she followed a rumor that a Key Fragment was in one of the worlds. Partaking in the scramble to get there, she fought against several Summoners whom were also seeking to take the Key Fragment for their own Ideologies. However, it was her fateful encounter with the Summoner Fatuita and the discovery of the MIZUNOHARA Unit that lead her onto the journey that has taken them this far.

Together with her friends, she's trying to stop Fatuita's Machinations of attempting to implement the Paradox Method again to prevent another catastrophic world destruction from occurring again.

[Abilities : Yuri Nozomi]

Ideology:
Unification
Bond to Party: Like Family
Performance Rank: Eager to prove

Skills + Equipment:
  • Fantastic Formality - Yuri's polite and formal demanor has helped her and the party go a long way in things that couldn't be solved with brute force.
  • Her Smartphone and Charger - She's uses it to record information. Though an outlet is not always available and there's no signal outside of some rare Worlds so she only uses it sparingly to review or record information.
  • Spices and Basic Cookware - She originally started out the journey with just enough cooking gear for herself. The party collectively carries everything that's allowed them to camp and eat in more feral patchwork worlds.
  • Collapsible Umbrella - She uses it to keep herself dry when it rains.
  • Bag of Bloons - Yuri happens to be in charge of the party's finances.

Support Skill: Rolled a [3]
Damage Infliction Increaser : When your spirit attacks and inflicts damage, roll a [ two sided die ] x [ once ]. If you roll a 2, double the damage you inflict on your target foe. If you roll a 1, damage dealt becomes 0%.

[Character Details - Tsubaha Moriya]

Personality

Impetuous and Easily Offended, Yuri had a hard time believing she was the Empress of anything when they first met.

Tsubaha came from a much more dangerous and violent world than the one Yuri knew of, and she lived a very isolated childhood that made her a little aloof in many aspects when it comes to interacting with people. Regardless, as time when on Yuri found Tsubaha to be very well driven and confident in her abilities. She is also surprisingly strong, and her technique and skill allows her to hold her own against most opponents who oftentimes think they have her easily outmatched. Tsubaha is also one to speak her mind quite freely. Something that Yuri somehow found a bit refreshing considering the way people normally talk to her.

When the pair encountered the First Spirit who came from Tsubaha's world, the fellow spirit confirmed Tsubaha's claims to Yuri. Throughout the story, Tsubaha has made it clear that her main goal is to fine her original patchwork world to find out it's fate. But regardless, she's been cooperative. She's eager to help out former members of her party like they did for her in the past. Yuri finds it odd to be chided along by someone who looks noticeably shorter than her, but at this point the two have an understanding of one another.

If anything Tsubaha's sometimes blunt straightforwardness is a form of sincerity that just takes a bit of getting used to.

Likes:

  • Duels - An avid sword duelist who likes to spar with other swordsmen of the world. More often than not her appearance has made it hard for strangers to take her all too seriously. She tends to impulsively go for her sword from time to time for no apparent reason as if eager to duel thin air.
  • Her Court - Tsubaha's 'Court' as empress was composed of nobles loyal to her. Among those were her now legendary companions who traveled with her from the time of the Jiaojing Sword Festival. Since the end of the TItan Crisis, they've all been working hard to heal the wounds and divides of the tumultuous unification of Shang and Tousawa to which she's appreciative.
  • Swords - Some things do not change. Tsubaha's infatuation with the sword, the art of the sword and all else related is as strong as ever. Even in the years since her ascendancy she is still considered just as capable as she's ever been. While she only carries her most valued weapons in Spirit Form, she's said to have a collection of mind boggling size.

Dislikes:
  • Being Teased: She defeated two ruling monarchs in single combat in order to establish her rule, and lead her original party in resolving the nearly apocalyptic Titan Crisis. In Limbo though all others see is a short girl with peculiar eyebrows and she's just as sensitive about them as she's always been.
  • 'Spirit Mode': In her un-summoned mode she resides within Yuri Nozomi's consciousness. She finds nothing pleasant in that state and always demands to be in physical form.
  • Charcoal: Has an illogical dislike of the stuff. Was seen smashing spare charcoal bits under her feet with a disturbingly victorious expression once before.

Proud of:
  • Her Original Journey: During her adventures, she proved her martial prowess against some of the toughest foes in her world. She is very proud of the things she and her party accomplished in their time together.
  • The Swordmaxter System: Tsubaha created a magical inheritance system that could store weapons and store the skills and knowledge of people who were admitted into it. This impossibly complex system, she believes, will secure the safety of Shang-Tousawa for many years to come.
Ashamed of:

  • Her Ambition - Defeating the King of Shang and the Daimyou of Tousawa opened the door to her becoming Empress later on. She's a bit disappointed in herself in hindsight that she did not think of the implications of making those challenges and becoming empress when she was younger.
  • Bushy Brows - As a child, attempted to use charcoal to correct her eyebrows. Failed miserably but only found out after townsfolk told her in person. It's still just as painful as it was to remember.

Fears:
  • The Fate of her Home Patchwork: Being formed as a spirit, she has yet to come across her own original patchwork world. But knowing that it was somehow destroyed worries her. What force could've been greater than the Rampaging Titan they took down? How could she face her people again as a spirit subservient to a high school girl?
  • Sailing and Boats: The 'Great Pirate' Saburo's ill-fated attempt to navigate the party across a river once ended so horribly that she swore to never step aboard a boat again. She'd rather swim.

Bio (Original Setting):

An outcast. Tsubaha was a bastard child born between a local nobleman and a lesser-immigrant noblewoman.

Tsubaha was raised by the Woman's Family however, but was nonetheless considered an outsider by everyone. The only one who accepted her was her grandfather, teaching her the migrant Tousawa ways of the sword - the Ikkikari Style. One day, Tsubaha participates in her home city's Festival of Swords. With the hopes of winning and being declared a Swordmaster, she joins in order to prove herself. Her fateful journey begins when she and many other participants are unfairly poisoned by participants looking to get an upper hand. Through events in that tournament, Tsubaha and her companions are outlawed by Shang, and forced to run in order to evade imprisonment.

With her friends, Tsubaha ends the war between the two warring Sapien Tribes of the Shang Kingdom and Tosawa Kingdom, and they stop a plot to awaken a sleeping Golem before it could be used to destroy both Kingdoms. Tsubaha secures a peace for the two tribes by defeating their leaders in combat. Gaining their kingship through victory, she unites them in order to prevent further conflict between them. She founds the Ikkikari Swordmaxter Order - meant to safeguard the knowledge of the Golems to prevent anyone from considering awakening them ever again using a complex inheritance magic to pass down information and technique to anyone accepted into the order.

Bio (In Limbo):

Tsubaha's memory in Limbo begins with her appearing in Yuri Nozomi's dream.

Miraculously, Tsubaha had what felt like an inborn understanding that she was a great spirit and that Yuri was her Summoner. In the time afterward, they worked together going through the summoner training program, and eventually being inducted into the Unification Ideology and scouting the void for new worlds and the Key Fragments. Throughout their journey together, Tsubaha had gotten Yuri out of many bad situations caused by being lead into traps or situations Yuri had stumbled upon. Though she often started at a disadvantage, Tsubaha's raw strength and high martial ability for her size has allowed her to make decisive comebacks on many occasions.

She consider's her summoner Yuri to be diligent but incredibly naiive despite knowing her secret from the beginning. Though, she likes Yuri's kind demeanor that has allowed her to befriend other summoners who control Spirits who used be a part of her own party. She journeys with Yuri to find her own Patchwork world, but in the meantime the MIZUNOHARA Unit and the next Paradox Disaster needs to be stopped due to Tsubaha's Summoner's own inability to say no.

[Abilities - Tsubaha Moriya]

Weapon: Spring and Autumn (Twin Shortblades)
A pair of blades with ornate looking scabbards and handles. Made to be used as a pair.

Hazakura (Dai Blade)
An exquisite long blade made for the mainline Ikkikari Style. It has a curious maple colored finish on it's steel. The weapon is too large normally for Tsubaha to wield. But she can temporarily summon it in to increase the force of some of her finishing strikes due to it's ability to amplify magic.

Skills + Equipment:

  • Ikkikari Swordmaster: She practices the Secondary Line Ikkikari Style of Swordsmanship from her home world. In basic form she uses two Oriental Style Shortswords and the aim is to close in attack aggressively with them. Tsubaha's version of the style has some of the Wushu School's flavor in her freedom in being being able to switch between backhanded and foward grip on her swords at will, making her attacks and stroke patterns harder to read.
  • Swordmaxter Sigil: The number Zero printed on the back of her right hand in a unique font. The inheritance magic of her version of her combat prowess is stored within it. The Sigil also allows for her to summon the weapon she uses in her Mythic Techniques.
  • Rotation Force: When landing strikes Tsubaha makes up for her smaller size by using the rotation of her body. Her attacks have a great ferocity and momentum once they start going. With rotation, her opening moves can leap forward with uprising distance, and often catches foes off guard.
  • Fire Magic Proficiency: Tsubaha's has an inborn proficiency with Fire Magic. She often opts to use it to add explosive and fiery effects to her own attacks.
  • Drackish Magic: A peculiar type of magic that Tsubaha uses in some of her more fierce magical attacks. In some attacks she's able to summon dragonic forms that charge the enemy from a distance, or even blast a foe with a shimmering pillar a unique type of of non-aligned magic.

[Section 4 - Relationships (For Both Characters)]

Relationship Details Yuri | Tsubaha

Relationship to Each Other:
Closest Fried | Sincerely and Naiive Idealist
"Tsubaha...san? I want us to grow better as a team!" | "A splendid proclamation, Yuri. I suppose. But, words are merely paltry in value without action."
Yuri appreciates the lengths Tsubaha has gone to keep her out of harm. To an extent, she's even a little emberassed at how much she relies on Tsubaha to get her out of things that go to being beyond her physical control. She feels at times that she isn't quite up to snuff when it comes to being Tsubaha's partner. Nonetheless,Tsubaha's sometimes unfiltered remarks and advice has helped Yuri forge a way when her own fear or indecisiveness clouds her judgement. While Yuri's always wanted to avoid conflict, Yuri has also wanted to be a good Summoner to Tsubaha, and as her summoner help realize her spirit's true potential in the honorable duels Tsubaha seems to be quite fond of. On the other hand Tsubaha finds that Yuri has much room to grow. Even if Yuri's Naiivite can be very inconvenient and difficult to stomach at times. Tsubaha remains loyal to her in order to achieve her own personal goal to find her home patchwork, but as they have journeyed together, she, like Yuri has found things that make them good company for one another.

To Sukimairu and Kiri:
An Ally | Questionable Motive
"Tsubaha. You knew Kiri in your own world?" | "Yes. But, her Summoner is curious indeed."
Though Tsubaha and Kiri met for the first time as strangers, their second meeting in this strange world was a certainly more joyful surprise. In their original world, Tsubaha had to accept that her travels with Kiri would come to a permanent end when Kiri used her spirit in order to stop the Titan Golem. While Tsubaha would never admit it, she partially developed the Swordmaxter System so that Kiri - nor the Golem she took possession of - would never be disturbed again. Being reunited in this world has made that final farewell a bit moot.

Yuri finds it charming to see a different side of Tsubaha when she's with Kiri. Once observing Tsubaha energetically talking about something sword related as Kiri appeared to be dozing off. Though Tsubaha does her best to hide it, Yuri knows that Tsubaha also feels ashamed. The Swordstress feels like she had failed Kiri in letting their world fall into Limbo.

In the context of being Yuri's Spirit, Tsubaha is weary of Sukimairu's intentions. The journey and their meeting began with both of them looking for the Key Fragment, what will happen when that goes up for grabs, considering Sukimairu is not part of an ideology like Yuri? Tsubaha knows that Kiri likely is only tagging along for the merit of being reunited, but at the end of the day she is in service to her Summoner - and Tsubaha, having once lead their team knows she is capable of putting up a fight.

Yuri's 'fakeness' is no doubt irritating towards Sukimairu - the most honest moment they ever had with each other was when Yuri yelled at her during her emotional outburst in the aftermath of the fight with Kuuyari.

To Kimiko Ono and Ko
A Mending Friendship | Stubborn
"Just when we were finally getting along... It can't go back to the way it was, can it?" | "There are some things that we simply need to live with, Yuri."
Yuri and Kimiko unintentionally first met when Yuri had impounded the latter's car in Earth Hotel Kilo. Though the two never really met in person until a bit later on. Kimiko and Ko managed to get the party out of a tough situation, and joined them therafter. Though as it turned out, it seemed like Kimiko mostly was wanting to get her car back. Afterward, Yuri found herself getting teased a lot, probably as some sort of retribution. Regardless, Yuri maintains that Kimiko was indeed parked in a tow zone. Even though cars aren't really a thing anymore. Reguardless, she enjoyed Kimiko and her Spirits Ko as company.

The relationship took a hard hit though when Kuuyari revealed that Yuri had killed people in her own past. In truth, it was Kimiko confronting her, and the apparent breakdown of their friendship in that short span that drove Yuri to leave the party and return back home. Curiously, it was Ko, whom had been taking back-seat to interacting with Yuri for much of the adventure, that sought her out to bring her back. Critiques of the game say they're frustrated as to whether Yuri actually knows Ko is Shinji from the same world as their interactions from those parts of the game are left highly ambigious.

Tsubaha on the other hand can enjoy the company of anyone who can listen to her drone on about swords and her home world. A part of her dislikes and even resents her for driving Yuri to that point, but like her Summoner she's accepting the possibility of mending that transgression to face the task at hand.

To Kyouko Himura and Kyouko Hiruma
Very Confusing | VERY CONFUSING
"So let's just call one Himu-chan and the other Hiru-chan?" | "Maybe something more succinct like Broody and Rowdy?"
Despite all that's happened with these two and the party, the biggest defining factor of them is the fact that their names are easy to get mixed up. Yuri and Tsubaha innocuously encountered the two while on the way to a certain mission. Though a series of coincidences they ended up traveling with one another. Later in the adventure the party uncovered the shady dealings of Kyoukos' organization, Sol Lucidis and lent a hand in the debacle that followed. To their surprise, Kyouko decided to see this adventure through before returning to her organization.

Yuri could appreciate Kyoukos' honesty. Tsubaha remains frustrated at the fact both of them have different names to the point that she comes up with nicknames for them that she ends up forgetting about after every mission - only to make up new ones later on. Originally, Tsubaha would identify the Kyouko she was addressing by drawing and pointing a blade at them, but Yuri was quick to keep her spirit from doing that. The chapter in their adventure that involved Sol Lucidis helped the party as a whole grow together - Though Yuri still looks poorly at how a part of that adventure got her and Tsubaha thrown into the 'Arena' world.

Kyouko was also the first person to experience Yuri's cooking skill at the start of the story. Her bluntness helped dishearten Yuri enough to get better. Tsubaha finds Kyouko's stories of saving other worlds quite fascinating.

To Haruka Tatsumi and Yulia Verde
Not the Arena... | Battle forged Friends
"Haruka-chan, The money isn't really a big deal." | "Come! Let's go back to the Arena Again, Yuri!"
Yuri still has... trauma from her short stint in the Arena. While investigating Sol Lucidis Yuri was seperated from the party and ended up in the Arena where she had to fight for her freedom. Tsubaha absolutely relished the opportunity to fight it out and the more sucessful they got the more stuck they ended up being since the crowds could not get enough. Eventually though, they strike a deal with Haruka, a ring bunny - in order to escape. The plan does work out somehow, and they both gain their freedom again. Haruka joins Yuri and the Party afterward to make up for the Prize Earnings Yuri never got.

Yuri doesn't think too hard about the 'lost' money as all she really wanted was to get out of there. She feels bad that Haruka feels indebted to her since the escape involved her losing her 'job'. Tsubaha on the other hand considers Haruka and Yulia battle forged battle sisters considering the whole scenario reminded her dearly of the events that began her original adventure - the Jiaojing Festival of Swords. Tsubaha has sparred with Yulia extensively. Yuri at first was wanting Haruka to go back to her original world and live peacefully, but though events in the story she's a little protective of her - sort of worried that if she let her off as she is she'd end up being used in some world again.

Yuri was trying to Haruka's self-esteem up a bit more - at least until the fight with Kuuyari happened. Tsubaha almost desperately wants to return to the Arena again, even though it would likley mean they would get stuck there - again...

To Michio Kamijou and Argenta Chevalier De Salvare
Recovering Party Member | More than Met the Eye
"It's strange Tsubaha. It's like I did meet him before, but at the same time I can't remember it." | "At this point it matters not, Yuri. The Michio you've traveled with thus far is the one you know with complete certainty, so focus on that."

Yuri and Tsubaha met Michio as an 'acquaintance' of Kyouko Himura. He was shown to help out sporadically, operating outside of the main party in order to infiltrate locations, and jumping in to help during occasions when things turned against the party's favor. It was only when the Sol Lucidis Plot began to escalate that Michio fully became a part of the team.

After the affair was settled, Yuri and Tsubaha had a suspicion that Michio had some type of wounds or emotional trauma from his past. This was revealed when the party discovered more about the Origins of the MIZUNOHARA Unit and it's apparent connection to someone he cared about in the past. The news was so shocking to him that he went after the MIZUNOHARA Unit on his own. The party was only able to stop him to talk him through it after subduing him and his spirit.

Though they have talked through it - and though Michio appears to be a bit more stronger because of it - the party allows him to participate in the final battle - where they may need all the help they can get. The party had gone through some strife leading up to this, but Yuri wants to believe they've all come strong enough to face this final battle together.

Uniformity Exception
Uniformity Exception - TV Tropes
Yuri infiltrated the Restoration Ideology Office wearing their uniform. The only thing that differentiated her from everyone was the fact that she had a bright red bow in her hair. She did nothing to help the infiltration mission but somehow got employee of the week that day, which she's proud of.

Open Secret
Open Secret - TV Tropes
The fact that the prim and proper Yuri can break out into Chuunibyou Syndrome on occasion when she sees something she really likes. She wants to pretend that she's done a good job of keeping it a secret but the party's been traveling with her long enough to know.

Thirteen is Unlucky
13 Is Unlucky - TV Tropes
Yuri was among the top 13 in her Summoner Training Class. As such, she just barely made the cut of being essentially forced to join one of the Ideologies due to her proficiency. She originally would've preferred to just stay back in her home patchwork as she already had duties there.

[General Information : Sukimairu Saemonsaburou]

"These Ideologies are stupid; imagine what we could all accomplish together!"

Character Type: Summoner
Character Name:
Sukimairu Saemonsaburou
Character Color Code: #BFBFBF
Appearance:

sukimairu-png.186811

Original Artist: 21st century technology...
(Yes, I changed the FC; I'm way too obsessed with this AI...)

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Roleplay of Origin: In The Name Of The Company

[Sukibauble : Character Details]

Personality

Sukimairu is usually very polite and responsive. Her conversations are often geared heavily toward a goal: getting small talk or personal details out of her is challenging without directly asking her questions. Quickly, people who speak with her find her to be well opinionated, and these opinions are about as easy to steer off their tracks as a train. Unlike her free-spirited summon, Suki has powerful drive to get things done and improve the world around her.

Likes:

  • Cats - Suki has always enjoyed the sleek, clean, and efficient motions that cats generally make, but having met a couple less-than-cooperative people in Limbo with cat features, she draws a very clear line between them and their animal counterparts.
  • Marbles - Especially when expertly crafted with all manner of colors. Plain marbles are still shiny and beautiful though. They're also much harder to find in Limbo, making them especially nice trinkets to collect wherever possible.
  • Efficiency - Sukimairu tends to write out a lot of plans. No one reads them, nor cares. Do they not appreciate how just a few minor changes in behavior could improve their combat efficiency by as much as 40%? At the end of the day, while she continues to push for improvement, Suki has to accept how unprofessional her 'colleagues' really are.

Dislikes:

  • The Ideologies - They're both wrong to Suki. She considers the fact that they exist as two separate organizations instead of one combined effort a serious problem and would love nothing more than to break down the concept itself.
  • Lies - Absolutely HATES them. Almost to the point of 'resetting' anyone she finds lying to her.
  • Disrespect - Suki is used to people doing what she tells them to do. When they don't, she remains pleasant, but tends to start treating the person like a child if they refuse enough times.

Proud of:

  • MCS - The Memory Capsule System has been Suki's main project since entering Limbo, and has developed to the point where it can reliably carry a 20-word message across a reset. While it's not much, she considers it her crowning achievement, and a milestone toward things to come.
  • 'Kita' - Sukimairu's assistant AI in a headset, which is now pretty much useless thanks to the lack of internet. She still considers it the pride of her home patchwork, particularly with how lifelike the personality is, which is just about the only thing that still functions.

Ashamed of:

  • 'Kita' - This AI also happens to be a major shame, considering how it constantly fails to deal with the new environment. Proud of the concept, ashamed of the reality.
  • Reliance on her summon - In her own world, Suki was a somewhat capable magical girl. Without a constant supply of manufactured mana, however, she's pretty much forced to rely on Kiri entirely for anything related to combat.

Fears:

  • Memory loss - Having already lost her memory once, Suki has no desire to go through it again, and is still occasionally plagued by one-way recognition people give her.
  • Limbo - The very existence of Limbo is horrifyingly unnatural, and causes Suki to consider whether or not she's actually back home flailing around in a mental hospital. In general, she tries to bury the concern as much as possible, with more success some days than others.

Bio (Original Setting):

Before falling into Limbo, Suki was the daughter of the founder of ManaCorp: a powerful, multi-national organization known for selling manufactured mana. In order to prove how worthless a certain group of magical girls hired by the company was, she joined it herself to watch the group carefully for evidence. However, shortly before her first mission, she found herself thrust into Limbo without having transformed once.

Bio (In Limbo):

Limbo was a massive shock to Suki, who was used to a more orderly reality. Once moment she was eating cereal, and the next, the entire cooperate building of ManaCorp was thrust into an alternate dimension... or something like that. In one fell swoop, the infrastructure for internet, magical girl powers, and a modern lifestyle in general were dashed to pieces. Electricity was confined to a set of backup generators that quickly ran out of fuel, and mana production was totally out of the question for lack of rare materials.

The first several weeks of Limbo were spent panicking in her room alone while the rest of the people who'd come along with her frantically tried to make the best of their situation. This panicking likely would've continued, if Suki didn't find suddenly find a young lady snoozing in her bed. After waking her, she introduced herself as Kiri Moriya and was about as helpful explaining how she got there as Suki was explaining Limbo. Nevertheless, Kiri's constant, calming presence eventually snapped Suki out of her panic attacks.

The next several months were spent developing the Memory Capsule System (see tropes section). After testing this system by forcefully resetting herself, Suki once again fell into a mild panic, though the oblivion tweet and Kiri's help kept the duration down to a few hours. Even now, almost a year later, Suki still occasionally runs into acquaintances and situations she forgot, giving her a mild fear of losing her memory again.

Eventually, the summoner/spirit paired happened upon a familiar little empress and due to a persistent nagging, Suki finally gave in and tagged along with their party for the time being. While Kiri is extremely fond of the rest of the party, Sukimairu only appears to be fond of Kiri, sticking around only because of Kiri's desire to. It seems less because of a true dislike for the others, and more considering the group to be a waste of time that could be spent searching for key fragments or designing technology to improve life in Limbo.

[Abilities : Suwuki Saymamaboloru]

Ideology:
Anarchy Independant
Bond to Party Kiri: Like Family
Performance Rank: Excellently skilled

Skills + Equipment:
  • Kita - Suki's AI assistant in a headset. Really more of a toy at this point, but becomes a powerful tool in the few environments with Wi-Fi access, to the point where it could even hack certain computer systems that lack decent security.
  • MCS - A small, but nearly-indestructible crystal with a 20-word message that gets relayed to Suki telepathically if she gets reset. No one knows what the message contains except Suki herself (and Kiri, who snooped when she was unsummoned).
  • Mana Battery - A small canister of backup mana which could theoretically be used to transform into her magical girl form for about a minute. Irreplaceable.
  • Enterprise Laptop - Compared to many worlds, the computational power of this laptop is something straight out of a science fiction novel. Much like Kita, it's severely limited by the lack of internet access.
  • Bag of Bloons - Yuri's in charge of most of the party's finances. No one touches Suki's money, and most of her valuable possessions came with her room to Limbo, so she has quite a lot.

Support Skill: Rolled 2 | 3
Short Circuit Sacrifice : Roll [ One die ] x [ current Manifestation Amount of Enemy ]. Inflict damage to the enemy by [ Result ]. Then, your Summoner is knocked out.

Character Type: Spirit
Character Name:
Kiri Moriya
Character Color Code: #FFB7C5
Appearance:

kirihappy-png.186813

Race: Sapien
Gender: Female
Age: 24.... ish.
Roleplay of Origin:
Kenno Matsuri

[Character Details - Kiri Moriya]

Personality

Calm, collected, peaceful, and frequently asleep. Legend has it that Kiri actually sleeps far less than she used to, claiming she 'grew out of it.' This is somewhat hard to believe considering how many naps she likes to take, especially in Suki's mind. Kiri is a bit scatterbrained, and tends to focus on issues of little importance, like a misaligned crest, or an uneven number of opponents. Even in the thick of battle, she barely looks like any effort is spent at all.

Kiri is also particularly friendly, which often helps make up for her summoner's blunt, all-business attitude. Her opinions on the two ideologies seems to mirror Suki's as well, though in her case, it seems less like a conscious choice and more of Kiri just being too lazy or generally passive to form a proper opinion.

Likes:

  • Naps - Any opportunity to doze off. According to Kiri, the comfiest place available is Suki's conscious, which baffles and confuses most people, including Sukimairu herself.
  • Tea - A calming drink that helps get her mind off of troublesome things, and helps Suki even more. Limbo has some very interesting and exotic teas...
  • Limbo - Kiri is probably one of the few people who actually likes Limbo, preferring it to the other, far more lonely form of limbo she suffered before arriving here.

Dislikes:
  • Conflict - Kiri fully shares Suki's dreams of a united Limbo, though perhaps not for the same reasons.
  • Dirt - Though Kiri's since grown plenty used to being dirty and using earth around her for combat, she still hates it when dirt stains otherwise nice colors.
  • Pillows - Stemming from one fateful day in her past when she lost her entire childhood in a flurry of pillow feathers. While Kiri still loves to sleep on just about anything, she's never seen with a pillow.

Proud of:
  • Saving the a world - Twice, in fact; though she doesn't remember the first time too well.
  • Gravity and magnetic manipulation - Over the course of her adventures, Kiri slowly honed very basic earth manipulation into a frighteningly potent series of skills that seem to modify the very forces of the ground themselves. While she doesn't like to boast about combat, she'll happily show off these skills for other purposes.
Ashamed of:

  • Her edge-mode phase - After losing her world (for the first time), Kiri spent several weeks horribly depressed, moody, and downright hateful. Eventually, she calmed down and grew to like some things the future version of her world had to offer, but it took a while.
  • The Maple Tree Incident - May it forever be lost to the sands of time...

Fears:
  • Returning to her original patchwork home - While Kiri has no ill will toward her home world, she also has no desire to return things back to the way they were, considering her life in Limbo to be considerably richer and more enjoyable.
  • High places - Kiri's earth manipulation is severely harmed in mid-air, so she'd much rather remain firmly on the ground. Besides: heights are dizzying and dangerous.

Bio (Original Setting):

A noble-lady from the Haschou house of Moriya, Kiri lived a lazy life until her family began to hatch a plot to overthrow the Ikkikari house and seize control of Haschou. Having been banished and hunted, Kiri lived several years as a fugitive, before throwing herself into the crater of Demon Crown Mountain hoping to calm its eruption.

Several years later, a spirit world mirrored the event yet again, cause a copy of Kiri to be shamed and dishonored yet again. After another series of events within the spirit world, the copy was sent to the real world along with a strange party of lost festival contestants. For several weeks, Kiri reluctantly traveled alongside them, plotting some way to exact revenge on a few of them for ruining her spirit world life.

Eventually, Kiri met Tsubaha, and after a lengthy talk, began to take pity on their situation. Over time, Kiri eventually came to forgive the real people, journeying across the land in order to bring peace between Shang and the Tousawa Migrants. This all culminated in Kiri sacrificing her freedom to merge with the power within the mountain, saving the world a second time.

Bio (In Limbo):

Kiri's first memory of Limbo is waking up in a mysterious bed, surrounded by glass and various glowing rectangles. Having already lost her home once, along with her freedom, Kiri found it more of a blessing than anything, though she quickly realized this wasn't a common response to the situation. Her summoner, Sukimairu, was quickly calmed by her peaceful continence, and the two formed a close bond, with Kiri's constant presence easing Suki, and Suki's mind providing a comfy resting place for Kiri when she gets tired.

As far as opinions about Limbo goes, Kiri just goes along with whatever her summoner wants, not bothering to contradict or fight it. The one exception was the time when Kiri noticed Tsubaha wandering alongside a white-haired girl. Considering how few requests Kiri actually made, Suki easily gave into her summon's pleading to join forces with the two.

[Abilities - Kiri Moriya]

Weapon: Celestine (Crystal Crossbow)
An exquisite Doven-made crossbow from Kiri's homeworld, made out of solid gemstones. Very powerful, if used correctly.

Skills + Equipment:

  • Instinctual Earth Manipulator: Kiri has almost no proficiency with weapons, including her crossbow. However, her innate understand of earth manipulation, which has since extended to gravity and magnetic forces, allows her to throw opponents off-balance and trap them in tombs of earth before they even realize what happened. Ironically, despite only having a crossbow, Kiri is far more dangerous up close. Anyone to close the distance may find themselves falling in hidden pitfall traps, growing 10 times heavier, or having metal weapons jerk around in strange ways beyond their control; all while Kiri calmly stands there like nothing's happening.

[General Information : Hisui Skystar]

"Connected hearts will see us through~♪! Our hearts connect me back to you~♪!"

Character Type: Spirit
Character Name:
Hisui Skystar (alt. Miyori)
Character Color Code: #FF69B4
Appearance:

image0-png.188706

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Roleplay of Origin: Spellheart*

*Spellheart was written mostly in private before it died, so it can't actually be linked to in any useful way.

[Character Details - Hisui Skystar]

Personality

Hisui tends to act like how every obsessed fan would expect a pop idol to act: bubbly, sweet, charismatic, and cutesy to the point where some people would want to slap her. At the same time, every so often, something else peeks through that perky exterior: guilt, fear, worry... Hisui is perfectly capable of taking a situation seriously, it’s just that when she does, her particular choice of language tends to awkwardly contrast the dramatic atmosphere around her. It’s common for Hisui to be mistaken as being several years younger from her dialect alone; something that both her behavior and her cosmetics strongly reinforce.

Likes:

  • Music - In her native patchwork, Hisui is a well-recognized singer. While a lot of this is soured by the pressure this fame puts on her, she still has a clear love of the music she writes and performs.
  • Recognition - While Hisui originally found the idea of not getting instantaneously mobbed wherever she went an appealing aspect of Limbo, after a while she began to miss it. Visual recognition tends to remind her of home and normalcy, though it rarely ever happens.
  • Sugar - Possibly the result of having been carefully manipulated into the stereotype, but nonetheless, Hisui loves all kinds of sugary foods. That's not to say she eats them much for the sake of her figure, but she loves them when she does.

Dislikes:
  • Foreign Cultures - While Kiri is more than happy to explore the wonders of other cultures, Hisui instead distrusts everything by default, considering it all barbaric, strange, dangerous, weird, and any other complaint that boils down to 'different.' Given even time, she can eventually warm up to things though, which is more than could be said about much of her xenophobic home.
  • Stalkers - A common problem she faced back in her home. While less of a problem now, she may be quick to slap this label on people Suki and her come across frequently.
  • Being Alone - Hisui is very much used to being around multiple people constantly. Having no one around is discomforting.

Proud of:
  • Her Career - Spellheart can be a very cold and fickle place. Hisui has managed to build a surprisingly strong and lasting career there as a pop idol and is fairly proud of this accomplishment, even if it has to be put on hold for now.
  • Combat Skill - For private, personal reasons she refuses to explain, Hisui took up arena combat as a disguised identity known as Miyori. Despite expecting to lose horribly, she actually managed to win, or at least heavily contend in, a couple battles against the strongest opponents Spellheart had to offer. Within the rest of Limbo, Hisui is remarkably powerful, and she takes some pride in knowing she can do more than just sing and dance as a cutesy cultural icon.

Ashamed of:
  • The Jar - ???
  • Xenophobia - She doesn't want to be that way, but it's hard fighting that many years of prejudice...

Fears:
  • People finding the jar - ???
  • Public Opinion - Hisui is a performer who's career has hung solely on her reputation. She carefully avoids rude gestures, 'crude' jokes, and anything else that she thinks could jeopardize that reputation, even if it wouldn't in reality.

Bio (Original Setting):

Hisui comes from a world where societies and nations are built along pockets of magically charged land. Depending on the concentration of this mana (and possibly other factors), some children are born with magic. The chances and relative power of the magic, if available, are tied directly into the place they're born. Of all these nation-states, Spellheart-- Hisui's home nation --could be considered by far the most prominent, to the point where it would be unheard of for any child to be born without incredibly potent magic.

Spellheart draws a lot of parallels to the modern society of Yuri, Michio, and Suki's worlds; skyscrapers, televisions, crystal balls that functionally act like cellphones, and more. Due to the post-scarcity of the nation, jobs end up taken only for their entertainment value rather than financial gain. Thus, public opinion and goodwill tends to shape an individual's access to luxuries and other nice things. Under this strict principal of life, Hisui and her twin sister, Misui, were drilled with the standard views of their society: other lands are dangerous places to keep away from, foreigners are simple-minded savages to be ostracized (if allowed in at all), and so on.

When their parents discovered the girls' talent for singing, they cleverly exploited it by intensive stage training and, eventually, televised public performances. This continued on for several years until their mid-teens, when Misui suddenly died by slipping and falling on a sharp staircase ornament. Though Hisui was given a short while to grieve, her parents quickly began to pressure her to take advantage of the incident and compose a somber concert in her memory. Moved by Hisui's pitiable story and her heartfelt performance, the entire nation joined the singer in grieving her sister, and ever since then, Hisui Skystar became the most widely-recognized name in Spellheart.

A few years after this time, unknown to anyone but a choice few, Hisui took on a double identity known as Miyori to participate in magical arena fights. Thanks in large part to having been born with a high magic affinity (even for Spellheart), she had a couple of shockingly close fights for someone who'd done nothing but singing and dancing all her life. On the other hand, even the few people who know about 'Miyori's' true identity aren't sure why she did this in the first place.

Bio (In Limbo): N/A

[Abilities - Hisui Skystar]

Weapon: "Swordie" (Telekinetic Blade Artifact)
An ornate blade which appears in a striking blue color. Though she’s often seen swinging it manually, a little-known secret is that Swordie can be moved simply with Hisui’s mind, allowing Swordie to fight even when Hisui’s ‘disarmed.’ Swordie may have a proper name. We’ll never know.

Skills + Equipment:

  • Aether Storage: Known in trope-terms as ‘Hammerspace.’ This is effectively a small, magical closet that she can access from anywhere to store items, or retrieve them later, Swordie being a primary example.
  • Sonic Manipulator: Her current magical kit consists of an offensive sonic blast, a defensive sonic barrier, and an augmentation spell that can repeatedly charge the power of her next sonic move, eventually reaching catastrophic levels if she’s given enough time.
  • Hover Boots: Another spell, which allows Hisui to literally walk on air as if it were a road or staircase. The spell lasts about a minute and is rarely used without good reason, as she has a limited pool of mana between rests.
  • Restoration: A powerful healing spell meant to restore a person’s body to its natural state. Though Hisui claims it can heal anything, there are several limitations, which she’ll adamantly deny, even if the spell fails right before her eyes.
  • Internal Magic Shield: In Hisui’s patchwork world, this is considered as common as having hair. Hisui’s body seems to completely ignore the effects of weaker magic— the fire of a fireball, the zap of a lightning spell, etc —and stronger spells are, up to a point, blocked by an invisible barrier surrounding her. Only a series of strong magical attacks, or one mega-powerful spell, manages to break through, and if it is broken, Hisui tends to cower in fear as if losing the shield marks her for a gruesome death. This shield completely ignores physical attacks however, so it can be avoided that way.

[Section 4 - Relationships (For Both Characters)]

Suki | Kiri

Their Relationship to Each other
"Oh, hey, Kiri..."
"Hm...? What is it?"
"Uhm... nothing really, I just... thanks for helping me out."
"Oh... you're welcome. Thanks for letting me sleep in your min--"
"Please don't say that out loud, I'd almost forgotten how weird it is..."

Suki and Kiri are a pair of personalities that, at first glance, one would imagine to clash horribly. One being lazy and perpetually calm, the other a powerfully driven individual with an incredible force of will. Despite this, it's rare to actually see the two fight... ever. The reason for it seems mostly to be on Suki's end of the relationship, as any objection Kiri has to something is almost always respected immediately. This is a privilege only Kiri seems to enjoy; everyone else gets Suki's constant lectures and 'critiques.'

Relationship to Yuri/Subaha
"Oh, Sukimarareru, have you seen my sister around? She's going to teach me how to hold a sword..."
"Hold on a minute, there's no way the forceful eyebrow girl's your sister..."
"She's almost my sister!"
"You can't be almost sisters! How are you two actually related?"
"Well I had a cousin, and that cousin had a child who had a child who... I think was Sis's mother, or maybe that was actually her... and then I split into two copies of myself which eventually merged a hundred years later whe--"
"--you know what, forget I asked! Your sister went that way with Yuri."

Kiri -> Tsubaha: Kiri's fondness of Tsubaha is likely the main reason Suki and Kiri are tagging along with the party at all. While their relationship from their home-world was initially quite strained, Kiri slowly grew fond of Tsubaha's drive and ambitions, hoping they would put an end to the feuds that ruined her own life. After discovering the strange familial relationship, Kiri latched onto this as a strange connection to her old world and lost family, further strengthening her fondness for the small, would-be empress.

Kiri -> Yuri: Kiri doesn't share Suki's distaste for Yuri's hidden chuuni, though she does find it culturally confusing why a 'dynamic personality' would need to be hidden. At home, the strongest personalities were often the successful ones who eventually became heroes, nobles, or both. Outside of that, Kiri simply considers Yuri a nice girl to chat up with a cup of tea.

Sukimairu -> Tsubaha: The two are on semi-friendly terms, as long as personal ambitions don't come up in conversation, which-- considering the two --is fairly rare. For Kiri's sake, Suki has agreed to avoid discussion of ideologies when Tsubaha's around, and the two got along fairly well after that thanks for Kiri.

Sukimairu -> Yuri: "You have a COMPUTER CHIP in your BRAIN!? Are you CRAZY!?" Suki originally hated Yuri. First it was the dual-persona, and when Suki learned of the 'Electro-pulsar Spinal Attachment' she refused to talk with Yuri for a week. After Kuuyari, the two finally reached an agreement through a series of angry shouts. To this day, Suki still considers the chip a massive security risk, but seems to be channeling her distrust specifically at the chip rather than Yuri herself.

Relationship to Kimiko/Ko
"Sukimagoogle, I'm going to go nap with Kimiko for a while; try not to do anything dangerous while I'm gone."
"Why do you waste so much time napping anyway...? I barely have enough time in the day as it is."
"Resting isn't wasting time...! It's when you get the best ideas, and then when you need to do things, you're focused."
"I've never seen you focus on something for more than 5 minutes before you started nodding off..."
"Everyone naps different. You should see Kimiko, the way she nods off you would think she--..."
"(...I wonder if it's possible to trade spirits for a while... Ko could be awfully useful...)"

Kiri -> Kimiko: Long live the UNA~! (United Napping Alliance)

Kiri -> Ko: The UNA shall triumph over its enemies~!

Sukimairu -> Kimiko: The easiest way to befriend Suki is to ask for her advice. For this reason, the two are on very good terms: Kimiko benefits from Suki's business advice, and Suki gets to enjoy the pleasure of someone heeding her advice and improving because of it. Their shared independence from ideologies makes it an especially strong relationship, despite the differing reasons for said independence.

Sukimairu -> Ko: This might have been a more friendly relationship if Ko left Kiri alone. Though Suki has nothing against him personally, she grows extremely defensive if she notices him chewing out Kiri for napping. Plus, the whole 'possession' incident was extremely fishy...

Relationship to Kyouko/Kyouko
"Hey Kiri, what do you think about Kyouko...?"
"Hm...? Kyouko, or Kyouko?"
"Kyouko."
"I think her imagination is wonderful. And who knows, maybe there really are worlds like that out there...!"
"Where I'm from there's a word for people like her..."
"Oh? What is it...?"
".........let's just go with 'meme.' That sounds nicer."

Kiri -> Kyouko: "Are you suuuure you've never heard of Saburo...?" Kiri keeps insisting Kyouko must be a pirate or a fighter of some kind, since the vast majority of people from home with a missing eye lost it in battle. Although she was corrected several times, she keeps it up, possibly as some sort of dry joke.

Kiri -> Kyouko: A small bundle of exhausting. Kiri is more capable of high-energy tasks than she was before her journey, but this Kyouko absolutely pushes her beyond her limits, and she generally stays away for her own sanity.

Sukimairu -> Kyouko: "Sorry you got the kid as your spirit... that must be rough." Sol Lucidis catches Suki's eye as a respectable organization and the closest thing to a truly ideology-independent organization. Sadly, this leads to her treating Kyouko more as a business partner than a friend or companion.

Sukimairu -> Kyouko: One would think being tossed into limbo would open Suki's mind to the crazy, supernatural things, but Kyouko falls squarely into the 'fictional' category in Suki's mind. Suki absolutely refuses to take Kyouko seriously at all and patronizes her like the small child she appears to be.

Relationship to Haruka/Yulia
"It's so nice having a normal person like Haruka around.."
"Huh...?"
"What do you mean, 'huh'...?"
"She seems awfully weird to me."
"How so?"
"Well... she never learned an elemental manipulation, she spent most of her life in a learning prison called 'school,' and she told me wyverns didn't even exist where she was from...!"
"You do realize you just described most of us here, right?"
"Mhm. All of you are weird~!"

Kiri -> Haruka: Kiri enjoys playing the game of 'is this a thing in your world' more with Haruka than anyone else. Most often than not, a totally normal cultural thing for one of them ends up like a baffling fictional novel to the other. Being fairly small herself, Kiri finds the idea of weight to be confusing, coming from a world of scarce foodstuffs. For the sake of getting Haruka to enjoy a cup of tea with her, she usually claims it's a special 'diet tea' regardless of what variety it actually is.

Kiri -> Yulia: Being as shy as she is, Kiri doesn't talk or think much of Yulia. She's usually just part of the background scenery when talking with Haruka (if she's even summoned at all).

Sukimairu -> Haruka: Suki enjoys sharing relatively normal conversations with Haruka, thanks to the similarities of their home Earths. While there are some differences, they're similar enough to the immediate past of Suki's world that their relatively normal conversations are calming to her.

Sukimairu -> Yulia: "Who's Yulia...? Oh, her. She's........ an effective summon, I guess."

Relationship to Michio/Argenta
"Am I seriously the only one concerned about these people having web-connected technology attached to their brains?"
"Sorry, I have no idea what that means... should I be worried...?"
"YES, you should be worried! EVERYONE should be worried!!"
"Why though...?"
"With enough computing power, security algorithms can fail, or there could be a backdoor in their networking cod-- KIRI!"
"--huh!? Oh, sorry... it's hard to stay awake when you start using confusing words like that..."
" 'It's dangerous.' Is that better?"
"Mhm..."

Kiri -> Michio: "He plays the best lullaby... zzzzz..." Kiri and Michio get along quite well. She especially likes stargazing with him, though in most cases she just uses it as an excuse to doze off.

Kiri -> Argenta: Kiri continues to ask how someone can have light as an elemental manipulation. After several, continued explanations, Kiri had to finally accept that the worlds they come from are still quite different, though she still enjoys talking about the similarities.

Sukimairu -> Michio: More suspicion thanks to the 'brain chip.' While Suki has told him several times she respects his skill and loyalty to ideological independence, the chip still drives a bit of a wedge between her fully trusting him (and a few others for that matter). Michio having 'died,' Suki has called into question whether or not the chip is even still functional, however, and this helps a bit.

Sukimairu -> Argentina: "Are you sure it's not 'Argentina...?'" Another capable spirit. Suki doesn't have much of an opinion beyond that, though she's always curious about studying how the different magic types work.

Dawn of an Era
Dawn of an Era - TV Tropes
Since arriving in Limbo, Suki's efforts have mostly been toward developing what she calls the 'Memory Capsule System,' or MCS. After months of collaborating with brilliant people across diverse patchworks, the result is a small, nearly-indestructible, adamant crystal. This crystal can store a 20-word-max message that is jokingly called an 'Oblivion Tweet.' If the owner's life signature cuts off for a few seconds, the crystal relays the message to its owner telepathically. Already, several crystals have been manufactured, and they carry with them the hope that the technology will continue to develop until all memories can be saved.

Advice Backfire
Advice Backfire - TV Tropes
In order to test the MCS, Suki had to reset herself and confirm the message was properly relayed. The message she chose involved the words "Trust the blue-haired girl. She's Kiri: your friend." Shortly after Suki's death, another blue-haired girl named Mana happened to notice the bloody scene using a flying spy-camera and popped in, causing the now-reset Suki to take her own advice as a horrible joke.

Sukimairu has a small, beta version of a headset with a built-in AI assistant named Kita. This headset has an incredible range of abilities: making phone calls, ordering things online, organizing cloud files, and many other useful things... or at least, it would if it had internet access. Sadly, without Wi-Fi, this incredibly advanced piece of technology ends up reduced to an encouraging voice in Suki's ear the vast majority of the time.

Suna.no.Wakusei.600.2121731.jpg Kimiko Ono &&& Ko (Shinji Kobe)
I'm not who I was when our world fell to ruin. I'm sorry...

Kimiko Ono
No more tragedies.

  • "I'm a detective, not some magical boy summoner!"

    Character Type: Summoner
    Character Name: Kimiko Ono
    Character Color Code: Blue-green! #00A885 under as rgb(0, 168, 133)
    Race: Human
    Gender: Female
    Age: 19
    Roleplay of Origin: Persona: Resist Your Calling (sheet)

    Character Voice: YouTube Link

  • "I see you want to know more about me? .... Why? I'm an open book."

    Personality Summary:
    Do you know of right and wrong? Kimiko's world exists in black and white, and she won't stop until true justice can be served. Kimiko wants to do the right thing for others, however typically that means crossing a line. Violence will always be met with violence. However, when not openly opposing something she deems 'wrong', Kimiko makes jokes and generally laid back. The type of student who is 'smart, but lazy'. However, after befriending a senpai who went missing, she's been hoping that increasing her own potential with learning detective skills and methods to track down culprits. She briefly ran a club in high school which consisted of her investigating various small incidents. She was paid in candy. Kimiko likes napping in the middle of the day, and tends to skip class if the content seems boring.

    Her laid back personality annoys Ko (also known as Shinji) to no end. She typically lets him handle most of the "hard stuff", and happily lets him handle most of the plot driving forward. However, once she finds injustice Ko has to hold her back. There's been a few times in the story where Kimiko has nearly just charged in to kill the villian.

    After the reveal of Yuri as a murderer, it was eventually Shinji who had to talk her down. It took a long time, but eventually Kimiko started talking to Yuri again. Kimiko never quite forgave Yuri, but eventually understood the situation was more complicated. She seems to have shifted a little on her stance towards black and white mentality.

    Likes:
    • Practical jokes; Kimiko loves little harmless jokes. Not enough to harm anyone, but confuse them. Her faverite target has been the prim and proper Yuri. She stopped after Yuri was revealed as murderer, and shifted her target to Ko.
    • The truth; In her orignal world, her side gig was to be a detective. She wanted to solve the disappearance of her older mentor student, but since she can no longer do that, she pushed forward to try and become someone who wants to solve all the mysteries of the world. She doesn't care about Unification or Restoration or any of that. Just what interests her in the moment.
    • Medical history; Kimiko was also a medical student in her world. She was supposed to study medicine, whether or not she wanted to. However, she kept up her studies in Limbo, since it was more a practical skill now than an expectation.
    • Ice cream; her favorite flavor is cookie dough.
    • Her car, Sandy; she won this in a race for a Fragment key. She won and since then she's happily been enjoying the independce of owning a car. Of course, she's also the go to driver for the group because of it, but she doesn't mind.

    Dislikes:
    • Liars; those who lie are lower than low. They're hiding behind a mask made of paper, and it's her job to wreck it. She'd rather just get to the heart of the problem and solve boring things quickly.
    • Criminals; Her sense of justice won't allow her to let criminals to get away with it. She hates nothing more than knowing who the criminal is and letting them get away with it. However, she's let Yuri go in exchange that Yuri change her ways. The next time Yuri steps out of line, Kimiko will fix the problem.
    • People who think they can get away with anything; people who know they've done wrong, and think that no matter what something will protect them. Money, justice, corruption, she hates it all. She'll destroy those types of people first.
    • Rudeness; there's no reason to be rude. She may appear lazy, but she'll be polite. No reason to just be rude if they don't deserve it.
    Proud of:
    • Her Car: Kimiko once challenged a guy to a race in the Patchwork Worlds and won. She got his car. Now she spoils it nearly as much as he did, and she's even named it 'Sandy'. The car gets wrecked every other mission, but Kimiko's taken steps to fix it every time. She's become really handy with the tools.
    • Medical Knowledge: In her world, she was working to become a doctor because of expectations foisted upon her, but in Limbo Kimiko's skills have saved quite a few people.
    Ashamed of: (at least 2)
    • Her own powerlessness; in her world she was on the cusp of unlocking her own potential with her Persona. However, when her world fell apart, she was forced to part with that part of herself. Sometimes she'll try to summon it in battle, to no avail.
    • Shinji Kobe (Ko); Shinji represents a few aspects of people that she hates. He lies about who is to the group, pretends to be someone else, and acts like he can get away with it. However, while they aren't always seeing eye to eye, the two work together well. Kimiko just wishes that her Spirit wasn't such a liar.
    Fears:
    • Dying; even though she knows that in Limbo, and won't permanently die, she still doesn't want to lose all her memories. All that knowledge lost, it would be too much to bear for her. She's come so far without dying. Not to mention, she would lose control of Ko, and doesn't know where the spirit would go if they were separated.
    • Growing too attached to the Group; while she's been working on it, she can't help but worry about how permanent this all is. Because she grew up a child of a military man, she never got to stay in one place with one group for too long. If she loses this group too, it would be too difficult for her.

  • Bio (Original Setting):

    Kimiko was born to a military family, shortly adapting to the moving around, she graduated from high school. Pledging to save her friend from a mysterious university, Kimiko plunged straight into the heart of the beast, unknowingly having forgotten her friend in the meantime. She never found him and the world was destroyed before she even finished her oritentation.

    Bio (In Limbo):

    Her world has since become overrun beings known as 'Shadows'. Unable to return, Kimiko was stranded. She dreamed of a young man as alone as she was, but it almost looked as though he was split in half. Half a strange blue haired soldier uniform, and half a normal boy with black hair and glasses. He looked pained from the split and seemed to try to crawl back to his home.

    Eventually, the two moved from meeting in dreams to reality. Ko appeared mysteriously in the middle of night before Kimiko, who actually kicked the spirit from fright. Eventually, the two agreed to go travel the Patchwork Worlds. Ko had different goals from Kimiko, but agreed in the hopes of fufilling them. Kimiko wanted to travel and find a new world for her to inhabit. Eventually, she ran into the group. She agreed to join them since there was strength in numbers.

    Shinji lied about who he was, and Kimiko covered for him. Since then, her spirit's name has been Ko. She doesn't mind covering for him, but is still bothered by it. By the current time of confrontation, Kimiko has been questioned about the real person behind her Spirit, but won't answer. She won't lie, but she also won't give an answer. She respects that there are secrets she shouldn't tell, in spite of her hating them.

  • Bond to Party: Good Friends
    Performance Rank: Capable of Doing So

    Ideology: Independent. Survival. Without a safe world to come back to, she wants simply to survive.

    Skills + Equipment:
    • Detective Skills; Kimiko is good at assessing a situation at a glance. She's talented at it, and frequently know things just ahead of the group. However, that's only when she's actually trying. When she's not, she might fall behind knowing things with the group.
    • Notebook; she has a ton of sketches and notes in it. Most are in code, but some are just illegably written. Nobody knows what she's written down besides that there's no point in trying to understand it.
    • Bedroll; Ko is in charge of cooking and self care. Kimiko ony knows one thing and that's to sleep comfortably at night on the ground.

    Support Skill:
    Damage Taker Decreaser : When your great spirit takes damage, roll a [ two sided die ] x [ once ]. If you roll a 2- Divide damage taken in half (rounding up). If you roll 1, take double the damage. Your Spirit cannot attack the post you use this support.

I'm Ko! It's nice to meet you!
Ko (Shinji Kobe)

  • "My name is Ko. It's... uh... nice to meet you?"
    Character Type: Great Spirit
    Character Name: Ko (Shinji Kobe)
    Character Color Code: Updated Blue! #2C82C9 or rgb(44, 130, 201)
    Appearance in Original World:
    DON'T LOOK AT ME

    Race: Human
    Gender: Male
    Age: 16
    Roleplay of Origin: Hisakawa Koukousei III - My High School Life is Despairingly Governed by the Cruelly Impartial RNG

    Character Voice:
    Junji Majima (as Toru in Coffin Princess Chaika)

  • "Uh... we haven't met, have we?"
    Personality Summary:
    As Shinji, he used to be prim, proper, and stuff down anything that didn't fit the ideal Class President or Student Council identity he had formed for himself. Locking parts of his personality away, he grew more and more isloated and depressed.

    However, when he was summoned in his virtu-ava form, he took on the name Ko. Instead of sealing away his dorkyness and chunnibyou, he instead embraced it. He let himself be as werid as he wanted and was geninuely enjoying his guise. Ko as a whole is very adventurous and willing to do things without thinking them through. As a result he's more reckless, but he thinks the change is for the better. However, Ko still has to take over most of the basics when traveling alone with Kimiko, becoming the 'responsible one' once again.

    Likes:
    • Flowers; he just thinks they're neat, and without worrying about how he's percieved, he can embrace his love of flowers. He frequently is found with some in his pockets.
    • Books; Ko likes to read in between jobs and finding Fragment Keys. He espcially loves cheesy romance books. Also literally any games, or stories he can scavenge on a mission.
    • Ballroom Dancing; he likes the feeling of dancing with someone. Espcially ballroom dancing. He finds it incredibly romantic.
    • Romance; Ko likes romance in any form. He's incredibly in love with love. Sometimes to the point where Kimiko has had to reel him in.
    Dislikes:
    • Rain; he doesn't like it. It makes him feel cold and alone. Something about being wet and cold just isn't appealing to him. He'd much rather be inside.
    • 'Spirit Mode'; he doesn't like to be reminded that he's just a spirit. Staring at Yuri and realizing something happened to make him into a Spirit rather than a summoner is shameful to him. The form is just as limiting as it is freeing to him.
    • Laziness; Kimiko would rather sleep all day than get anything done. Ko would prefer to always be moving forward, working hard to solve the problem and save the world. Of course, he's limited by his summoner in this aspect.
    Proud of:
    • How He's Fooled the Party; As far as the party is aware, Ko has always been Ko. Shinji Kobe is a separate being from Ko, and has never the two met. There was an incident in a world where he pretended to be 'taken over' by Shinji, because he needed to use knowledge from Hisakawa to convince the group how to find their way around Hisakawa while being separated from Yuri. He pulled it off flawlessly, he thinks.
    • His Fighting Skills; he wasn't a fighter in his orignal world, but Limba has afforded him the ability to keep people safe. He'll be the first line of defense if others need it. He won't back down from a fight this time.
    Ashamed of:
    • His Old Self; a stick in the mud who vanished just as easily as he worked. There was no one he saved, nobody who he could reach out to. He was alone, and never really seemed to have anyone by his side. If he could choose one person to be now, he would remain Ko and give up being Shinji forever.
    • The Bodysnatchers Incident; Shinji was proud to have fooled everyone, but mad at himself for having to pretend to be his old self. It just reminded him of how useless he had been. Not to mention, he wished he had come up with a better lie. It felt like he was just suppressing who he was again, too.
    Fears:
    • Ghosts; A well known ghost-fearer, Ko would rather be un-summoned than deal with anything supernatural. The irony has not escaped him, but he simply just cannot deal with Ghosts, Zombies, or magic.
    • Failure; Ko would rather lose everything than fail to save the world. He figures that he's already failed once, that's why he's in Limbo. The world must have been destroyed when he failed to help Yuri and the others, and so can be a bit reckless at times.

  • "Hey! No looking! ... Well it's not like I can stop you but no blabbing, ok?"

    Bio (Original Setting):
    Shinji Kobe was in charge of helping Student Council, and the Social Morals Comittee. He was the average student who suppressed all his otakuisms deep beneath the surface along with anything else that didn't fit his image of 'perfect student'. It was a perfect balancing act that started to go wrong when he could only hopelessly as people started mysteriously vanishing.

    He was desperate to get the class to join together and work as one. The world just... ended one day. He remembered looking at Yuri upset... and then falling down to the floor like a puppet with cut strings. Then nothing.

    Bio (In Limbo):
    He remembers dreaming of a girl with fire in her eyes and a heart for justice. He reached out to her, and appeared in a strange land. Just before he could finish processing it all, he was punched to the gut and knocked to the ground. Kimiko had nearly knocked him out in a sucker punch. Soon after, the two figured out the situation and then resolved to go traveling. Shinji hoped to locate his own world, hoping that his being a Spirit meant that it was out there... somewhere.

    Kimiko and Shinji ran into the MIZONOHARA Unit after nearly dying to some monsters wandering their current Patchwork World. Kimiko was content to continue her journey, but Shinji recognized Yuri. However.... Yuri didn't recognize him. Knowing this was a second chance, he persuaded Kimiko to join the group.

    After running into Yuri, he dubbed himself 'Ko'. Claiming he was someone else entirely, he managed to pass off the ruse to the others. As time went on, he allowed himself to be sillier or more nerdy or just plain more open with the others. At one point, while in the world of Hisakawa, he passed himself off as being posessed as... himself to navigate a fragmented group to one place. Kimiko nearly gave him a migrane for such a boneheaded idea.

  • Weapon: (Your Character's Primary Weapon(s) they use in battle)
    His fists, an innate knowledge of some kind of martial arts, and illusion magics.

    Skills + Equipment:
    Illusionary Opponent- Ko flits between his real self and false selves, making himself unpredicatable. Anyone expecting a straight up and down fight between themselves and Ko has another thing coming. While he primarily is skilled in making shadow clones of himself, he can also create minor illusions of pitfalls, or small creatures. He can teleport between each illusion, but only between his other Selves, the minor illusions are too small to move between.
    Simple Cooking and Cleaning- Kimiko refuses to do this, so Shinji picked it up for himself.

[Section 4 - Relationships (For Both Characters)]

Kimiko | Ko

Relationship to Each Other:
Trusted Ally | Good Friends
"I wish you'd tell them the truth, Ko." | "Don't worry. Maybe when this is all over, I will."
Kimiko -> Ko: The two may not always see eye to eye on everything, but the two are so often in sync that one can forget how rocky their relationship started. Kimiko knows that she can trust Ko to watch her back, even if he won't tell everyone everything.

Ko -> Kimiko: Ko knows that Kimiko is pretty black and white minded, and while he doesn't want to lie... it's easier for him to be someone else entirely. The two know that there's no secrets between them, at least, and sometimes, when you want to know the truth of everything, that's enough.

To
Yuri | Tsubaha:
A Repentant Murderer | An Odd Friendship
"She still killed people. That will never be just to me, but I can let it go. A little." | "I'm just glad Yuri is okay. Even though Yuri doesn't know it's me, I still want to help her."
Kimiko -> Yuri: Kimiko sees a person who was a murderer. Over time and hearing Yuri's regrets, Kimiko has admitted that there can still be some redemption for a criminal. However, the second Yuri steps out of line again, Kimiko will reset Yuri as many times as it takes until Yuri is obilterated.

Ko -> Yuri: Ko knows that Kimiko won't let go of that aspect of Yuri, and has a hard time with it himself. Knowing that Yuri had a side of her buried like him... Ko took it upon himself to help pull Yuri away from the dark depression she was spiraling into.

Kimiko -> Tsubaha: Kimiko likes learning about sword skills and other cultural notes from Tsubaha. There's a whole notebook dedicated to learning about the sword style and history. Though no one can read it besides Kimiko.

Ko -> Tsubaha: Ko isn't super interested, but doesn't mind watching the two talk. He's pretty sure those two could go for hours with odd stories.

To
Sukimaru | Kiri:
Good Friends | Barely Tolerant
"I need to learn more about how to run a business from her!" | "Stop napping! We're in a life or death situation!"
Kimiko -> Sukimaru: Kimiko likes learning about other worlds, and Sukimaru's world is no exception. What could be more exciting than the future? Well... business management, it turns out. Since Kimiko wants to run a small detective agency of her own someday, she wants to know how to work the books and become big.

Ko- Sukimaru: Ko more or less just likes talking to Kita. He thinks an AI is neat. He is unaware that Sukimaru is suspicious of him.

Ko-> Kiri: Ko hates seeing Kiri napping around camp. It reminds him of his own Summoner, and since he can't channel his frustration towards her without punishment, he vents it at Kiri instead. He also remembers doing this to another classmate... long ago...

Kikoko -> Kiri: Kimiko and Kiri swap napping tips, and are frequently both trying to nap without getting interrupted. The nap alliance was formed between the two of them. Kimiko swears that she's the superior sleeper among them.

To
Kyoko | Kyoko
Spicy Buddies | Chunnibyou Alliance
"Which one was the Pirate and which was the Super Hero again...?" | "I... I wish I could tell you."
Kimiko -> Pirate Kyoko: Kimiko likes to prank the group by confusing the group as to which Kyoko she's talking about. However, the two tend to share werid meals and odd experiences. Kimiko likes ranking places to live by their food on offer, and while she can't stand up to Kyoko's love of spicy food, she'll still try to eat with the pirate.

Kimiko -> Super Hero Kyoko: Probably a legitimate super hero. Kimiko is too afraid of what the other girl might say to gather much about this world. It might be too much nonsense to handle in a day. Kimiko is pretty sure that the Super Hero once mentioned magic. Her list of places to go in her notes has underlined and clearly defined "I would die if I went there".

Ko-> Pirate Kyoko: Just. Please stop running headfirst into everything. Please. She and Kimiko gets along so well that when dishonesty or lies come up, Ko wonders if his eye is the next to go. Kimiko likes joking about that when the two are alone. Ko flinches every time.

Ko-> Hero Kyoko: The two are about as nerdy as Chunnibyou as they can be. Ko likes being able to embrace his nerdier side, and the two just go full throttle on it. He's asked a few times if he could be a Super Hero in her world like her.

To
Haruka | Yulia
Off Limits | Hero Worship
"Ah. Blue Justice. Before my time." | "I thought she was a writer?"

Kimiko -> Haruka: Haruka nearly cried after one prank. Since then, Kimiko has been banned from teasing or pranking Haruka. Thus, Haruka became the only one she could confide in about future pranks. Whether or not Haruka wants to know it or not. Since then, telling her pranks that may or may not happen are the new teasing.

Ko-> Haruka: Books are scarce. Ko likes reading and entertaining himself. He borrows Haruka's book for the sake of sanity. It's not his cup of tea, but if he has to keep watch without anything else one more time... he might start seeing things.

Kimiko-> Yulia: Kimiko thinks that Yulia is too loyal and that is a deep fault in the relationship. She thinks that friendships should be built not just on who obeys the other without question. Sometimes things can be just out of line enough that she believes that it's any good friend's job to slap them back into shape.

Ko-> Yulia: Ko still can't believe he's met a real live knight. And that he's talking to her. And that they share powers to an extent.

To
Michio | Argenta
Ghosty Werido | Afraid Of
"Look out, Ko! It's a ghost!" | "Stop it! If it's not the ghost, then it's the crazy lawful knight lady!"

Kimiko -> Michio: Kimiko likes to call him a ghosty werido, and when the two first met, she took advantage of this fact to use his powers for the greatest good: Scare the bejesus out of her Spirit. She doesn't mind that he's so strict, but she can feel the residual energy from Ko that Michio and Ko used to act very similarly.

Ko -> Michio: Besides scarring him for life after the Sheet Incident, Michio reminds Ko of his old life. They aren't all plesant memories, and Ko doesn't like talking about it. He mostly avoids the other boy to avoid really coming face to face with his old self.

Kimiko -> Argenta: On the whole betrayal angle, Kimiko agrees with Argenta. On the spice angle, she likes to try and bring the pirate and the knight with her to eat spicy foods together. Kimiko is always the first out, but she likes having friends to eat werid and different food with.

Ko -> Argenta: Ko likes to take notes about the 11 Codes from Argenta, like Yulia he likes knowing a real knight. However, he's still terrifed of her due to her constant mentioning of how she died because she was betrayed and how lies are unwelcome and so on. Kimiko always gives him a wink when Argenta starts on this particular tangent.

Body Snatcher -
Ko once pretended to be possessed.... by himself. Or rather, his old self, Shinji Kobe. The group had been split up and he knew the halls of Hisakawa well enough to help guide people back to one spot. He remained 'possessed' for the rest of the mission, but he hated it the whole time. It felt like he was cutting off limbs to play the part, and since then has been grateful to Kimiko for covering his slip-ups.

Military Brat -
Kimiko's father was in the Military. As such she moved around a lot. She also doesn't really want to be fully integrated integrated into the group out of fear that they'll leave her... or she will. she's also deathly afraid of losing all her memories and Ko by dying, thus leaving the group through some else's will... like when they moved around.

The Precious, Precious Car -
Kimiko once won a car in a race against a jerk for a Fragment Key. She won both the Key and the car. It has henceforth been named Sandy and gets wrecked nearly every mission. The true mystery is if it's still the same car or if all the parts being replaced means it's a new car. What doesn't waver is that Kimiko is both the designated driver or the group and dedicated to maintaining it.

[General Information : Kyouko Himura]

"We are defined by our actions. Yeah, I'm sure you haven't heard this one before."

Character Type: Summoner
Character Name:
Kyouko Himura
Character Color Code: #3DA3C2
Appearance:

Original Artist: Big Saber from Fate/Empire of Dirt by shijiu/adamhutt

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Roleplay of Origin: Hisakawa - Hard Reset

[Character Details - Kyouko Himura]

Personality

Kyouko Himura appears to be a somewhat rude individual that does not mince her words when interacting with others. Often times butting heads with somewhat more dishonest individuals as she purposefully foregoes tact in favour of bluntness. If she isn't busy calling people out, however, Kyouko's usually a somewhat pleasant person, albeit stubborn. Sadly, years passing have made the blonde somewhat more cynical, sometimes making her lash out at people that don't deserve it.

Likes:

  • Challenge - Despite everything that could be at risk, Kyouko feels a certain itch, a kick, when faced with a situation against her odds. Overcoming it feels just that much more better.
  • (Spicy) Food - SWith the Patchworlds having opened up, Kyouko is capable of experiencing a world full of taste she could not even dream off. Always eager to try the newest and weirdest stuff, she has taken a liking to spicy food.
  • Physical Activities - Being just a summoner hasn't stopped Kyouko from staying physically fit. And, just like with the food, the Patchworlds have opened a whole new array of possibilities. Who doesn't like volcano bungee jumping?

Dislikes:
  • Injustice - Dishonesty, manipulation, exploitation, greed. The list goes on. It could all be so simple, yet it isn't. Kyouko has her own sense of justice and somewhat condemns people who are, by her definition, bad.
  • Not-Happy-Endings - Who right in their mind person would want anything but a happy ending? With everybody alive and happily ever after? Exactly. The girl goes out of her way to call people out who show themselves to be content with anything but the happiest scenario.
  • Goodbyes - Over her small journey, Kyouko had met many great people whom she enjoyed company with, despite being a tad Tsundere about it. She hates having to say eventually goodbye to these people. Good thing happy endings don't include goodbyes.

Proud of:

  • Sol Lucidis - Having somewhat fallen into the leadership role of a mercenary-group-turned-kingdom, Kyouko has taken great efforts to return Sol Lucidis to its roots. So far, it paid off, and Kyouko is well intent on continuing.
  • Her appetite - For it is gigantic. Rumours say that a second black hole opens in her stomach upon being challenged to a eat-off.

Ashamed of:

  • Her Chuunibyou past - Many years ago there used to be a time that consisted of big parts of something she'd rather forget. Even today it is something she'd rather keep hidden and not talk about. The existence of Kyouko Hiruma is not helping, however.
  • Kyouko Bond - It is, luckily, not too apparent that through some weird meta laws the two girls are actually 'the same'. And considering the younger Kyouko's behavior sometimes, she hopes for it to stay like that.

Fears:

  • Memory manipulation - Having 'woken up' to the realization that she forgot someone dear to her and having fallen under the Unconquered Sun's spell, Kyouko is terrified of the thought that the things she remembers aren't how they're supposed to be.
  • Betrayal - One could argue Kyouko has been betrayed by Sagawa. By Kira. By the very system of Hisakawa. And her new home called Sol Lucidis. There is only so much a person can take.

Bio (Original Setting):

Before falling into Limbo, Kyouko played her part in a somewhat bizarre slice-of-life school setting. Having been implanted with a chip that makes stuff go all 'VR', her best friend had been accused of being a hacker. Yet, together with the other students, their class went through a few misadventures of happy and sad times just to, ultimately, be forced to forget the existence of her dearest friend right after Christmas. How exactly she landed in limbo, Kyouko isn't sure, as there are others of her world, too. But she certainly wasn't too happy about the flood of information upon the malfunctioning of the ship.

Bio (In Limbo):

It all happened so fast. Earth Hotel-India. Hisakawa School campus and the surroundings. The break down of their chips. As if a thick fog had been lifted from their minds. Kyouko couldn't even be sure if it hadn't always been that. Yet, the situation had only devastated her more. With most of her friends gone, Kyouko quickly craved a path of her own. Leaving the others in Hisakawa behind and participating in a great journey...

Which nearly led to her demise, if not for the miracle of calling forth her summon with whom she hunted down villains, before ultimately settling with a group called Sol Lucidis. Her time there ultimately ending in the biggest betrayal ever since the reveal of the chips, Kyouko has taken a hard time to open up to people once more. Yet, she couldn't deny that the party had helped her to be freed from the Unconquered Sun's shackles, and Fatuita and Kuuyari are, simply, just another pair of villains that need to be vanquished. Maybe, at this final destination, she could also fulfill her wish...

[Abilities : Kyouko Himura]

Ideology:
Independent
Bond: Good Friends
Performance Rank: Eager to Prove

Skills + Equipment:
  • Physical fitness - Nothing comparable to a summon, Kyouko nonetheless keeps herself physically fit.
  • Sol Lucidis Assets - Money, information, places, people, clothes. You name it. Being the Monarch of a kinda-Kingdom clearly has its perks.
  • One Eyed Hawk - Despite missing an eye, Kyouko has quite a good eyesight and memory. One could argue even somewhat photographic.

Race: Human Super Hero
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Roleplay of Origin: Final -V-

[Character Details - Kyouko Hiruma]

Personality

Kyouko is a little ball of energy that strongly believes there is a good in everybody. Being, quite literally, a super hero the girl's always on the lookout to 'save the day' and just do good, always in the need of action and attention. There are rare times however where she displays a more vulnerable self as she struggles with certain insecurities and doubts, and even the brunette can't be hyper 24/7 a day. Ultimately, however, Kyouko's 'just loud, annoying, and weird'.

Likes:

  • Kyoukos - Kyouko was amazed at the fact there was another Kyouko! Sure, the name isn't that unique but the fact they have/had a lot of parallels convinced Kyouko there must be more alter Kyouko's! And the girl's adamant about finding them.
  • Cool Stuff - Giant robots, super heroes, costumes, epic chants, heterochromia, big weapons, and so on. The stuff kids dream about. The obvious cool shenanigans. While she doesn't quite fit the picture of a typical Chuunibyou, she nonetheless embraces a lot of things that are associated with it. But, then again, it's totally cool and those who disagree are just too ashamed anyway!
  • Dreams - Kyouko sees it all the time. Countless people who lost their Vibrance. Who gave into the boring monotony of a boring everyday life. This encourages her just that much more to hold onto the things she cherishes and wants to achieve. And always aim for higher grounds!

Dislikes:
  • Complexity - Often times people talk way too much with way too many plans and way too many if's and what's and making themselves crazy when it is, in fact, always boiling down to quite simple solutions. Sometimes you just gotta do it!
  • Lectures - Kyouko has grown tired of lectures about what she could and should do better or different from a certain summoner. In fact, she has grown tired of anyone giving her any kind of lectures about how she should be, rather than appreciating who she is.
  • CapitalismMoney - Too much anyway. Despite being plentiful rich herself, Kyouko's seen often enough just how much people can change for the worse if you throw enough money at them.

Proud of:
  • Saving the world, multiple times! - It's what super heroes in a multi-dimensional hyper-anime setting do, duh.
  • Her Fandom - After saving the world from the power-hungry Thremont's and their father to create a dictatorship ruled and protected by technology by ordinary humans for ordinary humans the Final Five's popularity surged. Kyouko has been part of a idol group and multiple TV shows and cartoons ever since then. While, ultimately, the celeb life wasn't for her, it's nonetheless a legacy that lives on. In her world anyway.
Ashamed of:

  • Being a horrible friend - Kyouko once had a best friend, Miku, that she believes to have dissapointed in every way possible. It's a shame she shares with no one, but carries alone.
  • Her Father - It took Kyouko a long time to realize to accept Godot Hiruma for who he truly was. A wannabe criminal that loves money more than his own daughter. Still alive and well to this day.

Fears:
  • Being Exposed - Kyouko's entire legacy is built upon a lie and the sacrifice of her best friend. 'The hero girl who killed the Chaos Witch', news headlines and the biggest lie that set her on the initial path of a hero.
  • Neuanfang - A deep fear has wormed into Kyouko's mind to not mess with certain things in regards to her power. What once started out as a feeling of unease to simply 'not do' things that shouldn't be done, has now only become worse. Especially with the whole limbo mess they're all in.

Bio (Original Setting):
Kyouko origins from a high-techno-magic world that throws around with trans-dimensional horrors, power-hungry companies, government regulated heroes, and just magic, anime, and technology all thrown together.

The girl herself was only somewhat unordinary until, through a series of accidents, she was thrown to be member of the most famous super hero group on the planet: The Final Five. With them she fought of a dimension traveling horror (multiple times), recovered a source of endless energy, shot themselves at the speed of light to and from mars, un-froze and beat up a planet eating eldritch monster on said mars, fought off a high-technology doom weapon fleet with a capital ship the size of china and so on.

Ultimately, the demise of her world had been called forth while battling against a group of 'villains' who were the stereotypical anti to the five superheroes, making powers clash that should not have clashed.

Bio (In Limbo):

Kyouko's first memory of limbo is punching some vile beast that was about to eat a damsel in distress. The two girls knew immediately that they were, on a very fundamental level, one and the same person. Yet different. Even sharing one of the most fundamental goals of 'saving a dear friend'.

Despite their few differences, their chemistry allowed them to be a very efficient summoner-spirit pair from the beginning. Needing none of the two ideologies for support. Instead, the two did what they thought to be right: Delivering justice while making living as bounty hunters. Quickly making a name for themselves, the two were ultimately recruited by Sol Lucidis: A group of mercenaries led by a visionary to unite the worlds without relying on the fragments but rather justice and virtue. In their time in Sol Lucidis, the humble mercenary group quickly turned into taking government positions of various smaller patch-worlds. Offering protection and prosperity alike. It came only naturally that the two quickly rose up in ranks, feeling somewhat at home among people that shared her ideas.

Not sure when things turned for the worse, as one of the leader's countless powers was akin to powerful memory alteration, they eventually managed to beat him: Taking on Leadership and trying to follow the original ideals that Sol Lucidis once stood for.

[Abilities - Kyouko Hiruma]

Weapon: Body and 'stuff lying around'
Kyouko's powers can make her utilize most things as weapons one way or another if punching things isn't good enough.

Skills + Equipment:

  • Neuanfang - The Restored World: (Trans: New Beginning)
    Having been granted one of the Keys of Creation: Recreation, Kyouko has been granted the ability to reverse the state, or property, of a entity to an earlier point in (non) existence. Where she once simply started out by drinking and crushing a tin-can just to make it 'as new again', she quickly developed into a force to be reckoned with. There have been situations in her world where her power-level went nuts, especially around the 'dimensional invader' kind of enemy. There are, of course, limitation like range and time and so on. One of her favorite past time is turning a simple rock throw into a deadly projectile by resetting various properties to the moment of the actual throw while letting it accelerate further and further.
  • ???
    Using the faster-than-light cannon to fire herself, and the others, to Mars, the group ripped through the boundaries of reality and were each met with a mysterious vision after beating up their favourite past time eldritch horror. Kyouko has been granted a mysterious amulet by a mysterious woman whose purpose she is not sure of even up to today. It, nonetheless, boosted Neuanfang to a level that she was actually useful in combat.
  • Hyper Kyouko Final
    What was once the 'ability' to execute a physics defying super-move under the right circumstances has since then developed into a 'general state' of displaying extreme levels of strength. Like ripping through parts of Thremont's flying doom fleet.
  • Unbreakable Will
    What do you do when you fail at something? You try again. You fail? You try again. Over and over and over again until, one time, you succeed. Kyouko has the innate ability to eventually succeed, if even just a single time, at anything as long as she keeps trying.
  • Luck favors the Bold
    Kyouko seems to display an absurd level of luck which played a substantial part to got her to where she currently is. Sadly every casino in Shanhu banned her.

[General Information : Tara]

"Zzz... z... I'm not a RPG character"

Character Type: Spirit
Character Name:
Tara
Character Color Code: #8a0303
Appearance:

dxcJ79O.png

Original Artist: Yuuki Hagure

Race: A.I.
Gender: Female
Age: 1.25 Years
Roleplay of Origin: http://Reality

[Character Details - Tara]

Personality

Bodyguard, Knight, Demonlord, and Hero! Tara is a rather lazy person who likes to sleep most of the time. Happiest when not bothered, the 'Hero' mainly lives with minimalist outlook on life, already having 'retired' and all. Only exerting maximum effort when the values she holds dearest are seriously threatened. If Tara isn't found sleeping, complaining, or being 'serious', she is generally a near 'generic and nice' girl.

Likes:

  • Sleep - Sleeping is important. Very important. And it's nice, too! And easy. So much upsides, no downsides. Very amaze!
  • Myths&Weapons - Tara likes hearing about myths relating to various weapons. Mainly to steal get a better idea of how to manifest it into her Great Blade Purgatory.
  • Chivalry - Tara has a code of honor she follows. Not because she feels obligated to, but because she pretty much likes it.

Dislikes:
  • Injustice - Something of prerequisite to be a hero, Tara has a disdain - and no mercy - for all things criminal!
  • Mass Consumerism - Big casinos, bets involved tons of propaganda, flashy lights of show-business, Tara has never been too fond of the 'origin' behind her 'origin'. Nothing more than a tool for entertainment and high-stakes gambling, Tara developed a ever growing dislike for modern concepts such as these.
  • Waking up - Oh no...

Proud of:
  • Saving the world, multiple times! - It's what super heroes still do! Duh.
  • Her Fighting Skills - If there's one thing Tara can be proud of, it's being a in-her-world prodigy and all the perks that come with it! 'Born to be a hero', as some would say...
Ashamed of:

  • Dooming her World - All it took was a single mistake to have the world turn against her. All it takes, is a single mistake...
  • Falling asleep on a Date - Let's not talk about it!

Fears:
  • Lil' Demon Lord - After the downfall of her world, the role of a villain fell kinda into her lap. While showing barely any abilities that back up the claim of being a Demon Lord, lesser vile monstrosities do recognize Tara as a rightful ruler.
  • Wrong Master - Much like herself, the person Tara has sworn fealty to has to follow the very same code of honor. It's never a easy decision, and even worse if it turns out she was wrong...

Bio (Original Setting):
Tara comes from a two-fold setting. Stemming originally from a VRMMO that has skilled programmers, backed by corporations, create virtual avatars who participate in a series of challenges that involve quite a lot of money, the girl is nothing more than a glorified 'celebrity' in a fictional television show. Mere data without human flesh.

To give said data more personality, however, each A.I. Avatar is made with a specific 'Origin Myth' in mind. Something that gives them personality and abilities. A 'world' they originate from. A feeling of purpose and home. Just more data. In Tara's case, the girl originated from a rather classical fantasy world of dragons, knights, kings and fair share of world-ending problems. Destined to be a prodigy, the never losing hero's own pride was her down-fall. As all it took was a single miss-step to turn the world against her. The people who loved her, branding her as an outlaw, portraying her as a villain she never meant to become.

In Agar Mythos, the VRMMO, Tara was the 'Bodyguard' for another, somewhat malicious, AI.

Bio (In Limbo):

N/A

[Abilities - Tara]

Weapon: Great Blade Purgatory
Purgatory is less a weapon and more of a concept. A Great Blade smelted together of countless others. Because of this, Tara is capable of creating a copy of other weapons, including their abilities, as soon as she got some understanding behind how they work and how they came to be.

Skills + Equipment:

  • My Life is Unimportant
    Tara is unaffected positive buffs like stat ups and healing. After all, the life of her master stands over her own. In return, however, her heroic origin allows Tara to withstand higher levels of pain and have her wounds heal automatically over time.
  • Natural Competitive
    Some people have to spend years of training and hard work to achieve anything. Tara was destined for greatness. This ability allows her to wield most weapons with great expertise.
  • Codé Reselion
    Tara's code of honor that even her master has to follow. Failure in doing so ends in an immediate cancellation of the contract. This holds only true if Tara perceives such a breach, however.
  • Deus Ex
    Being a hero by birth-right, Tara passed countless trials that were deemed impossible. The girl has a natural resistance against 'otherworldly' effects and is capable to achieve victory even if the odds are 0%.
  • Demon Lords Fate
    Falsely accused Demon Lord, Tara is able to harness its associated powers. Or at least a part of it, weakening her 'heroic origin' as she grows more accustomed to this role, she is currently only able to be recognized by lesser demons as a Demon Lord-class entity, making them serve her.
  • Tis's A Lazy One
    Dutiful as she may be, Tara's fighting power is proportional to the danger her Master faces. Going as far as even refusing orders without suffering too much of the accompanied headache.
  • Arcún Selene
    The magical garments Tara wears, which are able to dispel negative effects twice every minute.

[Section 4 - Relationships (For Both Characters)]

Relationship to Kyouko | Kyouko
"Is this how people thought about me in the past?"
"Being the most awesomest and heroic-est person, ever?"
"Being an annoying and somewhat loveable little creature that you have a hard time taking serious."
"I'm sure the other-other-Kyoukos are just. Like. Me! Just slightly less cool. And you will soon come back to your roots, too."
"I'd rather lose my other eye than..."
"One of us! One of us! One of us!"

What have I done

Kyouko -> Kyouko
Kyouko still has a hard time believing that Kyouko is an alternate version of Kyouko. Though Kyouko has certainly less trouble believing in the conviction of Kyouko's ways and that, despite her antics, she is certainly a good soul. Kyouko has somewhat of an annoyed-love relationship going on with the less-mature Kyouko. Often mentally slightly face-palming while somewhat attempting to make Kyouko less Kyouko and more like Kyouko! Despite sometimes behaving like that she's in disagreement with Kyouko, however, Kyouko is quite fond of Kyouko and trusts Kyouko with her life.

Kyouko -> Kyouko
Kyouko thinks of Kyouko like a Kyouko that fell down one time too much and took way too long to get up again, breaking something in Kyouko permanently, which turned Kyouko more into a realist than a idealist. A little bit sad with a pinch of pity, Kyouko made it her goal to reignite Kyouko's Soul again. To have it burn with the same passion that Kyouko is sure it used to burn once. Of course, it's nonetheless interesting to see someone who is basically yourself and being well aware that they are, deep down, the same created a unbreakable bond between the two.

Relationship to Yuri | Tsubaha
"So is Yuri also another--us-you?"
"Another--us-me?"
"You know, being in denial about liking awesome things!"
"No. She likes it. I don't. She's just shy."
"But she still likes swords! Tsubaha likes swords!"
"Everybody likes swords."

Kyouko -> Yuri
Despite their shared history, Kyouko didn't know too much about Yuri. While not agreeing with the whole dual-personality-stuff, especially being so formal, she does like her cooking. Quite a lot. Not to mention after the whole killing fiasco (which she doesn't judge Yuri too harshly on), Kyouko knows she is dependable.

Kyouko -> Tsubaha
Kyouko is kind of annoyed but also amused at the nicknames Tsubaha comes up with all the time, not able to withstand teasing her sometimes about the whole Kyouko deal. It is, nonetheless, still better than being called a pirate. Much like Yuri, the small empress seems dependable, too.

Kyouko -> Yuri
Kyouko constantly attempts for Yuri to embrace her inner Chuunibyou, every so often trying to tempt her by showing, or talking, about cool things that the white hair should certainly like. She also sees the girl as some mini-prime-example of villain turned good person.

Kyouko -> Tsubaha
Kyouko likes to tease the 'cute girl' about her height and gladly joins Kyouko's misfits about messing with their names. She also likes hearing about Tsubaha's stories and adventures that stand in stark contrast to her own heroics.

Relationship to Sukimairu | Kiri
"Sukilailu always treats me like a kid! And her cute spirit always keeps her distance, how am I supposed to raise the friendship meter!?"
"That's because you are a kid. And kids can be exhausting."
"Oh, my sincerest apologizes Ms. Himura, clearly we have to work on our cooperation with the Sukiri pair to further nourish our common goals."
"Where did you even-"

Kyouko -> Sukimairu
Kyouko has somewhat hard time getting along with Sukimairu. While there is certainly no bad blood between the two, the invisible wall the white-hair puts up can be quite disheartening. Often feeling like all Suki sees is a one-eyed girl being in control of a bunch of hero-junkies.

Kyouko -> Kiri
"I. Am. Not. A Pirate!"

Kyouko -> Sukimairu
Kyouko has made it her personal task to convince Sukimairu one way or another that the supernatural and crazy stuff is, indeed a thing. And one of the ways she already knows of doing so is by introducing the girl to her own Patchworld. Furthermore, Kyouko is convinced of this crazy theory that Suki is also an 'alternate version' of Iphigenia Courtlandt, for they too share a lot of similarities with each other. She does not like being treated like a kid by Suki however.

Kyouko -> Kiri
Despite their travels, Kyouko doesn't know too much of Kiri, but she reminds her of a sloth. A cute and sometimes fast sloth. Since it is hard to catch her, Kyouko takes any chance to actually get some quality-time out of the poor sleepyhead.

Relationship to Kimiko | Ko
"All of the heroes!"
"You're aware of Kimi's eye-for-an-eye policy?"
"Wanting to do good is a start, and Ko's there too! I, a certified ally of Justice, shall guide them!"
"You know not everybody keeps sharing these childish ideals, right? There are people that are so rotten to the core, no matter what, you can not make them r-"
"Eye-for-an-eye, captain!"
"ARGH!"

Kyouko -> Kimiko
Kyouko and Kimiko vibe quite a lot, sharing a common love(?) for all things foody. Kyouko can appreciate the justice mindset Kimiko has done, even though she doesn't fully agree with the whole black-and-white business. Nonetheless, the blonde has offered Kimiko a place in Sol Lucidis.

Kyouko -> Ko
Kyouko can't quite place it, but Kyouko's hero senses tell her something's fishy about Ko. And the fact he is somewhat of a nutcase just like Kyouko makes it only worse. At the very least he doesn't take it as literal as the brunette.

Kyouko -> Kimiko
Kimiko has some traits that make her a super hero candidate! Which is legitimate reason to declare herself self-proclaimed hero-mentor and teach the detective all about the rules of 'Stop thinking, just act' and 'Every baddie can be redeemed!'. One of these days she brings her along Shanhu's blimp restaurant.

Kyouko -> Ko
Just like with Kimiko, Kyouko is convinced of turning Ko into a hero, too. Same mentor shtick as well. The fact they both enjoy the whole Chuunibyou deal certainly doesn't help any delusions of Kyouko turning her intentions into reality.

Relationship to Haruka | Yulia
"It's time for Operation BUY A F."
"Buy a F? I read of this in a history class book once! About dead cultures, what was this thing called again, the slow one, internet?! Like, F in cha-"
"Burger Until You Are Full."
"Oohhhh. Is that what it stands for?"
"We have some convincing to do."
"Y-You're scaring me with that look, are you turning into a villain!?"

Kyouko -> Haruka
Kyouko is quite fond of Haruka, liking her bold attitude and the fact she can also cook and wrestling AND sharing some common-place-y origin that was 'Earth' yet not Hisakawa made it only natural for them to get closer. There is, however, a tiny glaring issue of Haruka's hate for burgers. Something Kyouko is intent on changing.

Kyouko -> Yulia
Kyouko doesn't know too much about Yulia, rarely catching glimpes of her existence here and there when talking to Haruka. A reminder that the wrestling-lover does indeed have a Summon. Kyouko has more important things to do than socialize with everybody in the group.

Kyouko -> Haruka
Kyouko loves hearing Haruka's stories. While she experienced plenty of exciting things herself, Haruka's tales always have something very unique to them. Like mixing two forbidden things that a higher power forbid to combine. She just does it. A fearsome and inspiring woman indeed. Also calls Haruka 'big sis' for some reason.

Kyouko -> Yulia
Kyouko is very well aware of the non-existence Yulia emits. Reminding her of her best friend Miku. Because of this, and knowing how lonely she might feel, Kyouko went out of her way to in-cooperate her some activities every now and then.

Relationship with Michio | Argenta
"So, you know Mi-"
"IT'S A REAL KNIGHT PERSON!"
"I know people can change b-"
"AND SHE EVEN HAS CHIVALRY AND STUFF!"
"Can you please pip-"
"BEFORE I WANTED TO BE A SUPER HERO, I WANTED TO BE A KNIGHT HERO!"
"...I know right!? She's, like, the best!"
"Do you think she has slain a Demon-lord!?!?"

Kyouko -> Michio
Difficult. While Yuri was someone, despite their shared time-line, she never had too much contact with, Michio used to be her childhood friend. Until, slowly, her perception of him had shifted into something worse. These feelings had run deep enough that even after he died, a secret she kept until now, Kyouko wasn't too sure what to feel. Currently, she is more accepting of Michio and sees him as an ally but has still a hard time to relax around him.

Kyouko -> Argenta
Considering that Sol Lucidis is ruled by a 'Round Table', it comes to no surprise that Kyouko is like a secret fangirl of Argenta, looking somewhat up to the whole knight-deal just a little. If not for the fact she is Michio's spirit, Kyouko would have long since invited her into a leadership position. Instead, the blonde simply admires her somewhat from 'afar'.

Kyouko -> Michio
Kyouko is somewhat close to Michio. Maybe even a lot. For the sole purpose of Kyouko being somewhat wary of her despite all the adventures, the brunette has found a nice guy in Michio that sometimes just needs some motivating words to keep going!

Kyouko -> Argenta

Bounty Hunter
Bounty Hunter - TV Tropes
Kyouko Himura has taken an obsession liking to hunt down villains, and it just so happened to go hand-in-hand with a specific profession that earned money, connections, and fame. The pair, together with help, is known for taking down some of the most famous villains across the patchwork worlds. They are, however, also somewhat infamous to now always abide by the law.

The Puppet Cut His Strings
The Puppet Cut His Strings - TV Tropes
Kyouko Hiruma turned out to be the perfect 'public face' for Sol Lucidis. Young, rich, rising in fame, easy to manipulate and with a certain shine, she was the perfect embodiment for what Sol Lucidis once stood for. Hiding the deep running corruption from the two girls by making use of the memory reset upon death and the memory manipulation ability of the 'Unconquered Sun', it was only thanks to a series of certain twitter messages, and the meeting with the party that they managed to turn the tables around.

Seemingly Hopeless Bossfight
Seemingly Hopeless Bossfight - TV Tropes
The Unconquered Sun, greatest hero turned super villain. Puppet-master of mercenary group turned hub-world government with plans to conquer the entire Patchworlds. Only lacking in that, ultimately, he was but just one person. Complete annihilation was certain as he mocked the party through a multitude of bad endings. It was thanks to the power of friendship that they overcame this adversary. Using Kyouko Hiruma's power and the memories of her friends to call forth a collection of summons from times long past - likely assembling the greatest army of spirits that has ever been seen... temporarily anyways.

Character Type: Summoner
Character Name: Haruka Tatsumi
Character Color Code: This Blue #3D8EB9

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Roleplay of Origin: Writing Club

[Character Details]

Personality : Brash and Bold, sums up what Haruka is doing for most of the time.

Haruka is a rather happy-go-lucky person. Though she had a rather high ego at first, feeling so proud of herself all the time. But people can shatter her proudness rather easy. She actually had a really high self consciousness of her weight. Most of the time she would start up idle chatters between the group, with seemingly random topics to mostly make the party open up to each other. Joking around with each other and ends up being the butt of the jokes herself.

Likes:
  • Pro Wrestling ; “It’s like Anime but it’s in real life!
  • Seasonal Limited Items ; “Ooooh! Cherry Blossom Tea! That’s only sold during Cherry Blossom Viewing Season! It’s like tasting the season in form of tea!
  • Dogs ; “Aren’t they the fluffiest cuties?
  • Strong guys ; “Well, you know, I like wrestling… And most of the guys there are hunks that have the muscle and the strong pecs!
Dislikes:
  • Critics ; “Hey! Who are you to judge my writing!?
  • Burgers ; “Whoever had that idea of grinding a fine meat, and then mush it together with stuffs to create those gross round thing… Go to hell.
  • Getting teased ; “Aw come on! I don’t need to get that treatment here!
Proud of:
  • Her history ; She will boast about how she’s so good at what she do when telling stories of her past.
  • Her own Wrestling Fantasy Book ; “Aaaaah, so you’ve read The Fallen Stardust? Tell me if it isn’t the best rise and fall and rise again of a wrestling star.
Ashamed of:
  • Her weight ; Truth is, Haruka’s weight is not that much of a big deal, but whenever someone says if she put on a little weight, she quickly make a big deal out of it.
  • Her history ; But actually, if one actually finds out about her past, it’s actually just exaggerated version to make her look good and she’s actually really lucky to get out of that, she really don’t want to admit that she’s just lucky.
Fears:
  • Getting licked ; This might be weird considering she loved dogs and dogs loved to lick persons that they like. But she usually shudders at the though of being licked, that weird, solid and slimy sensation tingling her skin freaks her out.
  • Jumpscares ; She can actually stand horror just fine, but not the kind that suddenly jumps to her surprise.

Bio (Original Setting): In a more peaceful world she lives as a very ordinary schoolgirl in Aistri Academy. She attends the Writing Club only because she could not qualify as a manager of the Academy’s sports club. And apparently she is also the butt of the “fat” jokes because she is too self aware of her weight.

And that’s pretty much it, she don’t remember much about how her world is destroyed… Other than she’s pretty much working on her more attractive physique and genuinely fail at it by the time of it’s destruction.

Bio (In Limbo): Upon arrival in the patchwork of her home world. There were panic, there were attempt to control, and then she lived as usual. There’s noticeably a border that are not meant to be crossed. But Haruka, because she’s so sick of living in a boring loop for eternity, decided to cross that border of her world.

Of course, she got herself stranded away from her home world… Landing onto a world that seems to be an Arena of sorts where Summoners and Spirits are pitted against each other to show who’s the greatest of ‘em all in terms of battle prowess. Our poor Haruka, who is not a summoner at that time got dragged into the Arena, becoming some sort of Ring Bunny who is there for fanservice of sorts between bouts. Such a misfortunate event for her as she is subject to a lot of stuffs as a Ring Bunny. Ranging from audience harassing her, summoners too eager to fight that she usually barely dodged a bullet, and many more.

Until one time, she took a hit! Massive fog burst out from the impact… And as the fog settled. Yulia Verde appeared protecting her, the crowd went wild as they didn’t expect that a Spirit that once ruled this Arena (which of course, she didn’t remember at all) appeared once again… Allying herself with the Ring Bunny of all people! And after that, the match immediately changed to pit Haruka and Yulia immediately against other summoners. Miraculously they won the match. And subsequently after that, Haruka made a name for herself in that Arena… For being stupidly lucky in her matches. She also made herself known as the Blue Bombshell (It was actually Blue Justice but… You know, formerly a Ring Bunny and all that).

But it was a short one, because she made a bet with another fighter on who can escape the Arena first without being obliterated, and probably make an enemy within the Arena. But it so happens that she found Yuri, so… She cut off a deal to get her out of the Arena. But apparently, the other fighter sniffs her out and ratted out her plan to escape. And so, Haruka and Yuri had to fight through a gauntlet to be granted escape. They succeeded at the gauntlet, obliterating the other fighter in the process… Originally she was to be granted a portion of wealth of that other fighter, and she were to give Yuri a whole lot of that portion as part of the deal. But with that being impossible to do now, Haruka is now in debt to Yuri… And she is pretty much forced to follow Yuri until that debt is settled.

[Abilities]

Ideology: Independent
Bond to Party: Like Family
Performance Rank: Eager to Prove

Skills + Equipment:
  • Cooking Skills : Haruka is pretty much the one to look forward to whenever she’s cooking a meal for the party.
  • A blue steel chair : Apparently, she grew an attachment to her weapon prop in the Arena. So she carries it with her always
  • Her “Luckyness” : While she always got herself in trouble, she got the lady luck with her side that she always gets away from the trouble unscathed.
  • Walking Dresser : You might wonder where she kept all of her clothes as she have a really wide selection of clothes to wear. And she actually wears different clothes every other day.

Support Skill:
Damage Taker Decreaser :When your great spirit takes damage, roll a [ two sided die ] x [ once ]. If you roll a 2. Divide damage taken in half (rounding up). If you roll 1, take double the damage. Your Spirit cannot attack the post you use this support.

Character Type: Spirit
Character Name: Yulia Verde
Character Color Code: Dunno what to call this Green #61BD6D

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Roleplay of Origin: First Iteration of Owaru no Sekai (Enter at your own risk, very old probably buggy site now)

[Section 2 - Character Details]

Personality : Yulia is rather shy around everyone, she rarely ever talks unless she was asked directly. She also had a rural accent as she was born as a villager in her original world and grown up as a farmer. Though she have a very calm composure in battles, which would be beneficial to herself and her allies. She also seem to have a commanding presence in battle, that presence is not there outside of battle. She is also very used to hard labor, usually when there’s something that needs heavy lifting, Yulia would be the one to pull it off.

Likes:
  • Vegetables ; She had a great eye when it comes to vegetables. As a vegetable enthusiast and a farmer, she would pick up only the greatest quality vegetable to be consumed.
  • Farming ; This is a given as she was a farmer first.
  • Haruka ; Well, technically she likes all her summoners, and even the King back in her original World.
Dislikes:
  • Milk ; She is lactose intollerant, she could not stand the taste of milk.
  • Enemies of Haruka ; The enemy of her summoner is also her enemy.
  • Axes ; While training her spear skills, she came to hate axes as apparently it could break her spears if she’s not careful with it.
Proud of:
  • Haruka ; A typical hound, she is proud of her summoners, even if that summoner is Haruka.
  • Her farm ; Back in her original World, her farm was one that could produce vegetables of the highest quality ever sought in the kingdoms.
Ashamed of:
  • Haruka ; Well, Haruka’s acts are kind of facepalm inducing, Yulia could not help but to avert her gaze whenever Haruka is acting stupid.
  • Her “Inferior” status ; Considering she was a lowly commoner in her original world. She is very humble and have a very low self esteem.
Fears:
  • Bulls ; When she was a teenager, a bull charged to her and causes a wound that she could not forget. Since then, she would cower in fear when she faces a bull.
  • Death ; She is a maiden at heart, she wanted to do more things with her life like getting married and such, and she don’t want to die before she did all of those things

Bio (Original Setting):
A farmer girl from a kingdom who answered the call to arms on an upcoming war. She was a fierce warrior, and a loyal one at that. With her skills, she was granted a weapon from the King. With that weapon, she continues to make a name for herself as an illusive warrior who can split herself to two… no… three… no, even more than that.

Bio (In Limbo):
Her earliest memory in Limbo was when she suddenly appears as Haruka’s spirit. Though apparently she actually made her entry as a Great Spirit in Limbo way before that… Considering the fact that her appearance before Haruka in the Arena drove the crowd wild.

It appeared that she was a well known fighter in that Arena, rising up quickly through the ranks until an unfortunate demise of her summoner at that time. She also had some tales of her failed attempt to fight the Rogue Summoner that leads to Destruction of Earth Sigma. Though none can really confirms it as she don’t recall anything from that.

Together with Haruka, she fought the fighters of the Arena with her finesse and skills. However, Yulia did all the hard work as Haruka would just go around wildly without contributing to the fight.

Of course, she is a loyal fighter that does not question her master. She would follow Haruka until the end of time… Or at least until she herself or Haruka is obliterated. This would be a thrilling adventure for the two of them.

[Section 3b - Abilities (Great Spirits Only)]

Bond to Party: Like Family
Performance Rank: Eager to Prove
Weapon: Mirror Lance - A spear that imbued with a magical enchantment that allows Yulia to create mirror copies of herself.

Skills :
  • Spear Proficiency : Her handling of her spear is almost like an extension of herself
  • Phantom Copies : She could create temporary phantom clones of herself thanks to the magics of her lance. While it’s only a phantom clone, the damage they dealt is quite comparable to the real one.
  • Aegis : A magic shield she learned to protect her master, creating a barrier surrounding her master to reduce damage impacts
  • Combat Runner : Her agility allows her to cover wide combat grounds without any big effort on her.

Relationship to each other
"Yo, Yulia, ready to kick ass?"
"What is kick ass?"
"Uh... Y'know, beat our enemies?"
"If ya put it that way... Ya better keep close."

Haruka -> Yulia
Haruka sees a partner in Yulia, a nice partner that won't talk much about her mistakes and all that. Very reliable to boot, and the two makes a nice tag team.

Yulia -> Haruka
Yulia sworn to protect anyone that summoned her, she rarely objects Haruka's decision... Not like she'd voice anything of concern anyway. She would do her best to protect Haruka.

Relationship to Yuri|Tsubaha
"Haruka... You do realize she didn't even consider yer debt anymore right?"
"Well, you do realize I don't even want to be in the Arena anymore right? And she did help us free ourselves from there right? I think it's right to follow her until we can repay that life debt."
"... Fair point I suppose..."
"Besides, you got a sparring partner in Tsubaha, I guess it works out in our favor... I guess?"
". . . Right..."

Haruka -> Yuri
Haruka don't even consider the money she owes Yuri anymore at this point. The fact that she helped her out of the Arena made her feel like she owed Yuri her life. And by this point, she only needs to save Yuri in a pinch so that the debt is settled, or help her save the world.

Haruka -> Tsubaha
"NOT THE ARENA AGAIN!!!"

Yulia -> Yuri
Yulia felt a bit envious that Yuri had an important mission to finish, if only her master had a noble goal or some sort...

Yulia -> Tsubaha
Yulia spars alot with Tsubaha ever since the Summoner-Spirit pair joined Yuri in her quest. It helps prevent her skill from deteoriating.

Relationship to Suki|Kiri
"She's a bit... normal I suppose."
"I'm just glad they don't talk to me much..."
"Hey, come on now... They don't look too nasty compared to those guys in the Arena."
"... You're right..."

Haruka -> Suki
"Talking with her makes me miss having a normal life."

Haruka -> Kiri
Haruka couldn't believe that what seems to be normal to her is weird to Kiri. Tea time with Kiri is good though, she keeps falling for the "Diet" bait that Kiri sets to her.

Yulia -> Suki/Kiri
Yulia blends with the background and kept herself busy and not noticeable whenever Haruka is interacting with the two.

Relationship with Kimiko|Ko
"AAAAAA STOP I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYMORE OF HER!!"
"Haruka... What's wrong?"
"SHE KEPT TELLING ME OF SHITS SHE'S TRYING TO PULL AT ME!!"
"But it didn't happen... No?"
"BUT WHAT IF IT DOES HAPPEN!?"

Haruka -> Kimiko
"NO NO NO I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT"

Haruka -> Ko
He actually read her book. HE ACTUALLY READ HER BOOK!!! Haruka can't be even more excited that Ko actually reads her own unpublished, unpolished, and very first book that she wrote.

Yulia -> Kimiko
Yulia felt that Kimiko don't really understand the concept of servant and master of the old times. Not that it matters much

Yulia -> Ko
He coincidentally have the same line of power as her. And as such, she would take her time to help him improve his illusion ability

Relationship to Kyoukos
"Why do they share the same name?"
". . . Isn't it easier to call them by nickname?"
"Uh... Yeah but that would be awkward and quite disrespectful right?"
". . . No?"
"Really? Hmmm, I guess I'll call them Pirate and Heroine then."

Haruka -> Pirate Kyouko
"Why are you glancing between that gross mush of meat and me many times?"

Haruka -> Heroine Kyouko
Haruka likes Kyouko because she unironically listened to all her tall tale enthusiastically. But she have this sort of problem when Kyouko refer to her as Big Sis.

Yulia -> Pirate Kyouko
Yulia didn't really talk much with the Pirate.

Yulia -> Heroine Kyouko
Yulia softly refuses Kyouko's approach in making her more involved, but it kind of fallen on deaf ears, so Yulia reluctantly followed Kyouko wherever she intents to have her. She... Kind of enjoys the attention.

Relationship to Michio|Argenta

The Bet
Haruka made a bet to another fighter to see who can get out of the Arena without getting obliterated themselves, or losing their Spirits. This involves politickings and such, while Haruka could have it easy and made herself a wanted woman. She instead chose to find a random person, and there she found Yuri. The other fighter sniffs out her tactic and then decided to make an impromptu gauntlet fight for her freedom! Haruka won the fight, but subsequently obliterated that other fighter… Making it impossible for her to claim the prize, so she was indebted to Yuri. Making her have to follow Yuri until the debt is settled

Third-Person Person
During her short stint in the Arena. Haruka actually called herself The Blue Justice! And also called the duo, Blue Bombers! And such, usually in every promo that she cuts, she will refer to them with that name… And that name sticks for a while even after joining up with Yuri.

Call Reception Area
Haruka breaks the rules set by the everyone in her home world about crossing the border. She ends up being in some sort of Arena where her whole adventure began starting with having Yulia summoned, and then go around doing stuffs in Arena until they met Yuri

Please make sure to put the#Fxxx code for your character texts. Going to need that since I'll paste them into the Discord with all the others. If you have trouble with it, you can look up BBcolor codes for green/etc and it'll give those codes.

Alright everyone! I think we're only technically waiting on @Accelerator. A small number like around what we have now is totally okay with me! Please see to having your relationships fleshed out by saturday evening - where the IC thread and the RP will formally begin. All i have left is some editing and tinkering in discord.

Please be sure to use the timeline posted at around the top page to get an idea of how the story has been unfolding thus far. Might help understand your relationships - and maybe even fill in extra details not present there!

Addtionally below is how dice shall be used in the RP. Please review it. Thank you!

Dice and Fighting in Sekai to Owari

(While lorewise we call Hitpoints 'Manifestation', this guide will refer to it as HP to avoid confusion)

In general, within Sekai to Owari dice is used in order to randomize the performance of your character in a fight giving a random element in the posts you will write. To put it simply, one simply needs to roll a single 100 sided die. The [ 100% ] represents the highest possible damage output your character can put out.

General Guideline - Roll Results according to the Aachen System
[0-20%] - A single blade strike or kick.
[20-30%] - Sucessful Execution and landing of a Tech.
[30-80%] - Sucessful Landings of Several Techs in a Row depending on number.
[90-100%] - Character Performing their Mythic Tech.

Remember to roll a 100 sided die when you perform an action against a foe. Details of a foe's HP is kept under record in the Discord Channel. Note that a character's HP will be inflated beyond 100% for the purposes of not having them be defeated so easily.

How do our characters take damage?

Player characters also can take damage as well. The party together share a collective HP Percentage that represents the health of the party overall. When the foe attacks, they will also roll a 100 sided die whose result is subtracted from the party's HP. As the HP goes down the 'Status' of your characters can change from 'Healthy' to 'Critical', and it is expected that your character act as such ICly. In the event that the party's Collective HP goes to Zero, all spirits are immediately un-summoned and the players will have to deal with being powerless icly in the events that proceed.

The Statuses Possible for the PC's and their general meaning are as follows

Eager - Character is fresh, rested and ready to go.
Active - Character is actively engaged in a battle.
Winded - Character has started to take damage but is still committed to fight.
Steady - Character's participation in battle is beginning to wear them down.
Wavering - Character is starting to be pushed to the brink.
Incapacitated - Character is reaching a breaking point.

The status of your characters and how resistant they are to having their Status degrade is loosely based upon their 'bond' to the party. The logic being that characters who are 'closer' to the party will fight harder for longer to keep them all safe. In short, the HP of the party represents the overall general will of your spirits to continue to fight on!

Party's HP and Individual Character Status is kept recorded and updated within the discord.

[Michio Kamijou : Character Details]

Personality

Although a bit of a stickler for the rules and order in general, Michio never fails to at the very least try to be friendly with others, even people that he generally doesn’t like all that much. He is characteristically calm in most situations. Whether he is doing paperwork, playing his part as a Social Morals Rep, hanging out with friends, giving advice to someone facing challenges, or facing enemies, he often has a nonchalant air about him. In reality, however, Michio is far from the facade he wears in front of others.

Unbeknownst to most of the party, with the exception of Kyouko Himura, Michio Kamijou was supposed to be dead. Due to a series of misfortunes and bad decisions, the silver haired boy perished before either an Ideology or his would be Great Spirit could get to him and a crude attempt at revival left him to become almost literally a ghost of his former self. After being revived, his thoughts were overwhelmed with regret and longing for the past that he could never take back nor go back to. Having left with no other choice, Michio reluctantly agreed to be trained as a Summoner along with his Great Spirit, someone who reminded him almost too ironically of the person he used to be.

Despite the exceptional talent he has shown as a Summoner, his hesitation and indecision caused by the constant fear of making a “wrong” decision has caused him and Argenta their fair share of troubles. There was even one point when Michio and Argenta managed to come across a flawed reproduction of the wishing stone and the former used it to try and “relive” his past to fix things only to end up making things worse. The realization that by attempting to change the past, he had inevitably played a vital part in his own downfall broke Michio’s spirits even further causing him to sink deeper into depression until the party managed to “snap him out of it” . At this point of the story, Michio is attempting to return to his past self with the help of his friends and his great spirit. He feels that he owes every single one of them a debt of gratitude for making him realize the errors in his ways and how he’s not living his life correctly.

Likes:

  • Hardwork - Hard work betrays none but dreams betray many… A saying that Michio has experienced firsthand when he failed to fulfill his dream in his past life. Nonetheless, he is still an avid believer that while hard work doesn’t guarantee achieving one’s dreams, working hard and achieving something grants some consolation at least.
  • Music - Michio has learned to play the piano during middle school due to an explicit request from the head of the Yakuza to do so. Although he hated being forced to learn something at first, he quickly grew to love the melody he makes whenever he hits the keys. While he generally appreciates most kinds of music, he prefers calm original sound tracks, especially those that involve the piano. Even in his life as a Summoner, he still yearns to either listen or play his favorite instrument from time to time. Additionally, he has also taught himself to
  • Stargazing - One of the few hobbies that Michio has retained ever since he began his new life as a summoner. He feels a certain sense of satisfaction and nostalgia every time he gets the opportunity to gaze upon the vast blanket of stars covering a cloudless night sky. He has even set out a goal for himself to experience the night sky of every patchwork he visits.

Dislikes:

  • Cloudy Night Time Weather - Since clouds pretty much obstruct his view of the night sky, he dislikes cloudy weather. This was evident when he was disappointed to have travelled to a patchwork famed for its wonderful view of the night sky only to be greeted by the sight of clouds blocking its view.
  • Wasting Resources - His family pretty much barely clung on to being a middle class family due to Michio’s father’s debt to the Yakuza. Everyday, one had to practice moderation in the household to make ends meet and even today, he is peeved when someone squanders away valuable resources.
  • Inter-Party Strife - It is inevitable for such a gathering of people hailing from different worlds to have differing viewpoints. While the occasional clash of ideals is healthy for the group, Michio hates seeing his friends be torn apart and divided either by simple misunderstanding or major issues.

Proud of:

  • Certified Adventurer - During a mission in Patchwork Earth Sierra Whiskey, while tracking down a lead to a possible key fragment, he came upon a recruitment flyer for a mercenary group known as the “Lughanta Company”. While the image of a sellsword wasn’t appealing to him at first, he initially applied with Argenta to join in hopes of speeding up his investigation of the lead. What he didn’t expect was how much he enjoyed being a part of the mercenary crew. He has even helped the Lughanta Company save the world at one point and after explaining the nature of his visit to their world, the captain still recognized them as honorary members. Argenta and Voyd still visit the company from time to time.
  • Travelling Musician - Due to his interest in music, Michio has taught himself to play a variety of instruments other than the piano such as the guitar and the violin. He enjoys playing for the party during lulls in their journey in an effort not just to combat boredom but to lift their spirits as well. He was even able to make good use of his skill after managing to win a music contest to secure more coin for the party’s diminishing funds.

Ashamed of:

  • His Obsession - His obsession about his dream of marrying his childhood friend quite literally screwed things up for him not just in his past life but in his life as a Summoner as well. Back when he was an ordinary human, Michio had allowed himself to cling so desperately on a promise made by children because of all the misfortunes that happened in his life, he considered it as the single, most important goal and symbol of hope he had to keep moving on. So, when Sagawa Mizunohara cut ties with him, his entire world fell down and he committed several mistakes that hurt not only him, but others as well. Even with his dying breath during the attack at the school, his thoughts were filled only with regret at the realization that he could never fulfill the single wish he desperately sought, and the hope that Sagawa managed to survive the attacks.
Even when he was already a Summoner rising through the ranks, he fell into the temptation of using a flawed reproduction of the wishing stone to make a desperate, yet ultimately unsuccessful attempt of changing his past.

  • The Rooftop Snap Incident - Some things are better left forgotten.

Fears:

  • Helplessness: Michio dreads the feeling of being powerless to do something and have no control of a situation whatsoever. He does everything in his power to get the upper hand in a situation, even resorting to cheap tricks and dirty tactics to come out on top, something that he would never do in the past and much to the dismay of his great spirit.
  • Screwing Up: As much as Michio hates the feeling of losing control of a situation, he is absolutely afraid of making wrong decisions since the culmination of these wrong decisions not only caused him much despair and misfortune in the past but also led up to him getting killed. After the awry time travel incident, Michio started second-guessing his decisions even more and hesitating to make not just important decisions but minor ones as well. The party managed to knock some sense back into him and he’s now less prone to be reluctant at making decisions, but the fear still remains.

Bio (Original Setting):

Michio Kamijou was originally from a relatively normal and peaceful version of Earth. His daily routine involved him actively playing his part as a Social Morals Representative, making sure he acquires above average grades, hanging out with his friends, and juggling between the numerous part time jobs to support his family who was in debt with the Yakuza. Due to a series of unfortunate events and bad decisions, Michio had a falling out with his childhood friend and long-time crush, Sagawa Mizunohara, before perishing in an attack directed at his school.

Bio (In Limbo):

Michio was an anomaly among summoners. There’s a common belief that one has to be alive in order to be recruited as a Summoner, but in Michio’s case, he died before he was even given the proverbial recruitment pamphlet. The Ideology that was supposed to recruit him decided it would be beneficial to bring him back from the dead rather than find another candidate. But in order to do that and not disrupt the laws that govern the patchwork, it needed to create another vessel for him. As it was doing so, it did not realize that the Great Spirit that was supposed to be its partner has also taken the liberty of trying to revive him. The combination of two imperfect resurrection rituals did manage to revive the silver haired boy but not without side effects that would forever set him apart from other summoners. He looks like himself before he died in his home patchwork, but the Blonde Knight explains that he managed to get only a part of a Highlander’s blessing… eternal youth. Aside from that, the Ideology also warned that his life force is extremely unstable, and as such, he may inadvertently shift from being alive to a ghost-like state without any warning whatsoever.

With no way of returning to his past life, Michio reluctantly agreed to become a Summoner. Retaining his trait of being a hard worker, he quickly realized that he was considerably more talented than the rest of his peers and graduated as Top 5 of his class. Both the Unification and the Restoration ideologies aggressively tried to recruit him to their cause but Michio ultimately decided to remain undecided in hopes of discovering what ideal to believe in for himself.

Despite his skills and his respectable reputation, he isn’t without faults as he was tempted to use an imperfect version of the wishing stone to change his past only to realize that such an act was the underlying cause to his family’s misfortunes. Depressed and reluctant to pretty much do anything else after that, he refused to go into missions out of a lingering fear to make a bad decision all over again but Argenta and his friends, especially an alternate version of the Yuri Nozomi he once knew in his past life managed to snap him out of it and return some confidence back to him.

[Abilities : Michio Kamijou]

Ideology: Reset Independent

Bond to Party: Like Family

Performance Rank: Excellently Skilled

Skills + Equipment:

  • Wooden Sword: Kohakuren - Michio doesn't believe on relying completely on Argenta for his protection all the time, thus he carries a prized wooden sword with him at all times. He acquired the sword during a mission at Patchwork Earth Sierra Whiskey while investigating a lead of a possible Key Fragment located there. The sword is said to be practically indestructible but at the end of the day, it’s just a wooden sword… or is it?
  • Bajiquan Practitioner - His father had also trained him in the martial arts of Bajiquan when he was a kid, probably in preparation should Michio's life be disturbed by the Yakuza. Though he probably did not expect his son to be an inter-dimensional guardian. Needless to say, he's gotten really good at it, and saved his life a couple of times.
  • Recipe Journal - A notebook that Michio uses to record the recipe of dishes that has piqued his interest in hopes that he could replicate these himself one day.
  • High-End Telescope - A memento from his parents, Michio made sure to grab this before leaving his patchwork not only to satisfy his hobby but as a keepsake to remind him of his family as well.
  • Phase Shift - Michio has learned how to transform a potentially unstable and unpredictable trait into a defensive advantage to some degree. He can change states from a living, physical state, into a ghost-like state at will but doing so requires quite a bit of effort on his part.

Support Skill: (Your Character's Support Skill, based upon the roll you made.)

Short Circuit Sacrifice : Roll [ One die ] x [ current Manifestation Amount of Enemy ]. Inflict damage to the enemy by [ Result ]. Then, your Summoner is knocked out.

[Character Details - Argenta Chevallier de Salvare]

Personality

To strangers, Argenta is viewed as a solemn person, someone who is all work and no play. She exudes this serious aura that somehow makes others think that she is unapproachable. However, this is quite contrary to her true personality. Once someone gets to know the Silver Knight, he or she realizes that beneath her intimidating exterior lies a gentle, friendly and compassionate individual that tends to be playful and carefree whenever the situation permits it. Despite this, she values loyalty the most as she is always loyal to her word and would never go back on it.

She exhibits an above normal sense of acceptance and understanding of situations as evidence by how she was able to readily accept the destruction of her home world, going so far as to saying it was inevitable.

That said, she can also be quite stubborn in her ways, whether it be sticking as much as possible to her code or not giving up on her "hopeless" Summoner.

When Michio first met Argenta, the two quickly developed a bond and mutual understanding of one another, with both parties satisfied at how seemingly proper the other one was… But Michio soon found out that she was more steadfast and stubborn about her beliefs than he was. Which at times can be a major problem given his now utilitarian beliefs. He even comments that she is like a better version of himself and duly admires her and at times annoyed by her.

Likes:

  • Sparrows - Although Argenta likes all kinds of animals, she specifically loves sparrows and has often tried (and failed) to get one of these critters as a pet. Since she has spent a considerable amount of time living in the wilds of her home patchwork before it was destroyed, she almost always feels more at home camping out in a forest and hearing the soothing sounds these birds make.
  • Loyalty -.Argenta feels much at ease when she determines a person’s loyalty and can fight better knowing that somebody has her back. That said, it takes a bit of time before she can fully trust someone, even her own Summoner.
  • Spicy Foods - Uncharacteristic to the preconception that girls generally like sweets and can’t stand spicy foods, Argenta prefers to have almost every meal with exorbitant amounts of chili in it. This is made more apparent when she encountered all sorts of spices like chili powder and tabasco sauce when the party visited other patchworks and insists that Yuri should always have plenty of these in stock.

Dislikes:

  • Betrayal: Having once died after being betrayed by people whom she considered as comrades, Argenta has developed a keen distaste of deception, dishonesty, and betrayal of any kind. She would go through great lengths to ensure acts of treachery will not happen among members of her own party, and would punish them until they see the wrong in their ways.
  • 'Spirit Mode': Argenta finds Michio’s consciousness to be quite… distressing to say the least. Filled with dreary thoughts about previous misfortunes in his life as well as regrets, Argenta has insisted on remaining on physical form unless it is strategically sound to be in Spirit Form.
  • People Asking About Her Age: The truth is, Argenta has lost count of how old she really is, having lived hundreds of years in her homeworld. Like any lady, she hates it when people ask how old she really is (and that she hasn’t had a successful relationship ever since she became a Highlander.).

Proud of:

  • The 11 Codes of Chivalry : Whenever Michio and Argenta visit a particularly chaotic patchwork, Argenta tries to preach about her 11 Codes of Chivalry to people in an attempt to instill order, discipline and compassion to those she deems as "ones who have lost their way". She takes great pride in seeing people change for the better due to her teachings when they leave said patchworks.
  • Official Food Taster - After the party discovered Argenta’s unique characteristics, she pretty much became their official food taster. Not only was she immune to poison, her centuries of accumulated knowledge as someone who has sampled every dish in her home world is viewed by most of the culinary-inclined members of the party as a wellspring of wisdom. She takes great pride in being the first to sample a new culinary creation produced by her comrades.
Ashamed of:

  • Breaking the Code - Even after she had bound herself to her 11 Codes of Chivalry, there were instances when she had to break it. The most apparent was when she led a rebellion against a tyrannical queen of the kingdom she had once sworn loyalty to which led not only to the queen’s death but those of hundreds of innocent lives as well.
  • Bane of the Table - After being revived as a Highlander, trained in their art of combat, the very first thing Argenta set out to do was to track down her former comrades, the very same ones that betrayed her on that fateful day. She exacted her vengeance upon them, slaughtering not only the treacherous knights themselves, but going so far as to eradicate their bloodline as well. This horrific act driven by her desire for vengeance still haunts her to this day, and is the primary reason why she formed her 11 codes in the first place.

Fears:

  • Her Past Catching Up to Her : She bears great shame after performing the massacre of the Round Table's bloodline and even after hundreds of years, it is evident that she clearly hasn't gotten over it quite yet. It took great effort for her to admit her sins to her Summoner, fearing that he would denounce her, but she was relieved to find out that the way Michio sees her hasn't particularly changed. He was even glad to find out that she also had regrets and she also made mistakes, joking that he had previously thought of her to be too perfect for someone who was once a human. While her Summoner still accepts her despite her sins, she is afraid of what the party may think of her if they ever find out about it.
  • Betrayal: Argenta has a hard time trusting people. It took her a considerable amount of time to trust her own Summoner. As someone who had once died after placing her trust in the wrong people, she prefers working alone with her Master if she could help it. While she had taken her guard off a bit after they joined the party, she still fears that one of them may betray her and Michio.

Bio (Original Setting):

Renowned for her beauty and skill in sword fighting, Argenta Chevalier de Salvare was already making a name for herself. Those who made the mistake of belittling her because of her gender and beauty suffered were humbled by her frightening ability. Despite posing such an intimidating demeanor, she was still haunted with lines of suitors hoping to win her hand every single day. As such, she continued pursuing to become a highly esteemed and equally fearsome individual, one who others would hesitate to approach.

While thwarting thwarting enemy forces with an elite squadron of knights known as the Knights of the Round Table, she came across a young boy from the enemy faction. He was barely in his early 20's and had evidently lost the will to fight as evidenced by his constant shivering. Nonetheless, the Knights of the Round wanted Argenta to finish off the boy, arguing that he is an enemy. Argenta refused and was stabbed, quite literally, in the back by her comrades.

Resigning herself to her fate, thinking only that "it cannot be helped,'' she heard a voice asking her if she wanted to live to which she readily affirmed.

When she woke up, she was quite literally a different person. Blessed with a Highlander's body, and eager to learn their ways of combat, she trained herself for the day she would return to her Kingdom and make her former companions pay for what they had done. And pay they did.. Normally, wars are responsible for wiping out bloodlines, not people. But the Bloodline of her former comrades ceased to exist within the span of a single night when she exacted her revenge.

It was only after seeing the aftermath of her actions that she felt intense remorse for what she had done. Realising her own flaws, she went on an exile and formed her 11 Codes of Chivalry in an effort to atone for her mistakes as well as prevent herself from making the same ones.

She has spent the next hundred years acting as a nameless guardian for the Kingdom she once proudly served, safeguarding it from threats both internal and external. As the years passed, rumours about a female knight matching the tragic heroine who fell all those years ago began to surface. The rumours soon became tales and the tales became legends.

Bio (In Limbo):

Argenta’s earliest recollection after becoming a Great Spirit was being suddenly transported into a foreign world, in front of a silver haired boy taking his last few desperate breaths as he lay dying before her. While unaware that he will soon become her partner, she felt the need to offer the boy the same option as the one she was offered in order to save his life.

After managing to bring the boy back to life, albeit through an imperfect ritual, the two became partners and trained to the best of their ability to be one of the most formidable Summoner - Great Spirit pairs to graduate from the academy.

While definitely skilled than most pairs, their journey wasn’t particularly smooth sailing. Despite their similarities, Argenta has noticed that Michio was initially “broken” for lack of a better word. Even though he was someone she barely knows, she still feels that he must have gone through so many things that twisted his personality to some degree. There were times when they were prone to disagreeing with each other, as well as times when both acted recklessly in pursuit of their own beliefs.

But over time, Argenta’s relationship with Michio has drastically improved and even though she is still quite critical of him at times. At this point of the story, she has admitted her gravest sin to him but he has accepted her nonetheless as his partner. However, she still dreads what the party would think of her should they find out about her secret.

[Abilities - Argenta Chevalier de Salvare]

Weapon: Solstice - A magical rapier said to be able to pierce through anything, it can also be imbued with magical properties to increase its efficiency and lethality.

Skills + Equipment:

Highlander Physiology - A trait that makes a Highlander immune to poisons and curses and grants them eternal youth upon reaching 24 years old. It also prevents them from dying of any means other than being killed in battle.

All-Arms Mastership - Argenta spent a considerable amount of her life learning how to skillfully utilise every type of weapon in her homeworld. While one can't expect her to know how to make use of modern day weapons such as guns and futuristic weapons on the first try, she has the potential to learn how to decently use these weapons within her first few attempts.

Light Magic Mastery - Having lived for literally hundreds of years, Argenta has achieved great mastery in multiple kinds of magic. However, where she really excels at is making use of light magic. She can turn invisible, imbue herself temporarily with incredible speed, teleport, use healing magic, create light constructs such as weapons or a massive avatar to fight for her, or simply fire burning beams of light towards her enemies. Her skill in using this magic has turned the tide of numerous battles in her world, even earning her the title, "The Knight of the Sun".

Runic Magic Proficiency - A type of magic she learned from the Highlanders, various effects can be achieved by arranging the runes in different ways. Common uses include fortifying equipment, buffing Spells, and even controlling other creatures.

[Section 4 - Relationships (For Both Characters)]

Relationship to Each Other:

Irreplaceable Friend | Precious Comrade
"I know I've done some pretty stupid stuff in the past, So, thank you for sticking by my side despite all that."
"While you have indeed made some misguided choices, I have sworn to be your sword ever since that day and have promised to see things through. "
"Having a knight for a summon sure is convenient. "
"Do not misinterpret. Even if I were not duty bound, it is simply my nature not to give up on someone unless they are irredeemable. "
"There's still some hope for me, huh?"

Michio
---> Argenta

Michio views it kind of ironic how Argenta became his Great Spirit. She feels like she is his ideals in the past personified and ramped up tenfold. Given that he was revived imperfectly, revived by Argenta, he was a little conflicted with how to feel with his sometimes incorporeal body, he does appreciate that she went through so much trouble rather than finding a different summoner. She's always been a reliable partner and sometimes a strict mentor for him and no matter how much he screwed up with his misguided decisions, she has always been there to support him. To him, she feels like an older sister he has always wanted but never had.

Argenta ---> Michio

Argenta thinks her Summoner has a long way to go. Despite how talented of a pair they are, they have had their fair share of troubles from Michio's hesitation and misguided decisions. However, Argenta understands that this is in part due to some emotional trauma and regrets he experienced in the past that still haunts him to this day. The breakdown he experienced when he learned about the MIZUNOHARA UNIT is evident of this. Due to her own ideals and how much the boy has grown on her Argenta has stuck by Michio's side, supporting him in any way she can. She is especially relieved when he was still so accepting of her despite admitting the gravest sin she had made in the past and now trusts in him completely.

Relationship to Yuri | Tsubaha

Familiar Face | Fellow Swordstress

"She looks just like an old friend... It feels so nostalgic."
"I, for one, do not see a difference. She was your friend in your old world, and now she is your friend here as well. Stop thinking about the little things and just live in the moment."
"Heh, you're right. Whether or not she is the Yuri I've met in the past, there's no denying that we're still friends."

Michio
---> Yuri

Michio can't help but sometimes confuse the Nozomi Yuri he met as a summoner from the one he met in the past. It seems that she shares the same sentiments with him as well so that is at least a comforting thought. He was hesitant to approach her before in the past because of his past but after learning that she wasn't exactly the one she met in his world, he took the opportunity to befriend her once again. He is a great fan of her cooking and eagerly takes notes of her recipes.

Michio ---> Tsubaha

Michio has a great deal of respect for Tsubaha when he learned about her journey. She has accomplished so many things at such a young age that he feels quite overwhelmed just being at her presence. If she were a bit taller, she would have made for a perfect candidate for a leadership role in the Social Morals Committee. He is also thankful for her since both the petite swordstress and Nozomi did not give up on him after all the screw ups he's committed .

Argenta ---> Yuri

Argenta is close friends with Yuri. The two had hit it off when Argenta began sharing her culinary exploits in her own world to the white haired girl and Yuri began replicating the dishes she described for her. She specially likes it when Yuri adds some spiciness to her dishes. She is confident that Yuri would make a fine wife, and any guy (or girl) would be lucky to have her. After the party found out about Yuri's past, Argenta feels a lot more closer to Yuri, having already committed something similar, if not worse than the silver haired girl. However, Argenta is still afraid to tell anyone, specially Yuri about her past mistake, fearing that it could serve to tarnish their friendship completely.

Argenta ---> Tsubaha

Argenta is quite fond of the little empress. Not only is her fighting style completely foreign and interesting for her, she also admires how much the young girl has accomplished at such a young age. Although the blonde knight, herself, has earned many accolades in her home world, she had literal centuries to accomplish deeds and feats she was proud of like overthrowing tyrannies, defeating invading forces and slaying demon lords. The young swordmistress unified two warring nations and became its empress before Argenta became a Highlander, a feat that deserves praise in her book. She enjoys sharing tales with Tsubaha and the occasional spar when there is a reprieve from the party's journeys.

To Sukimairu and Kiri:

Industrious Inventor | Star-dozing Buddies

"Those two are a hassle to watch."
"Huh, why do you say so?"
"They seem to be completely polar opposites of each other. The summoner is motivated to get things done, the summon seems motivated to find the next best place to lounge on."
"Hey, Argenta, why are you only using pronouns and adjectives when referring to this pair. You don't seem to do that to anybody else. Is it because you cannot pronounce Sukimairu-san's name.
"I.... Yes, her name qualifies for a 6th tier incantation, or a tongue twister."
"Well, at least Kiri-chan's name is easier to pronounce. Plus, it's great to have someone who enjoys stargazing like I do... Even though she ends up dozing off halfway through most of the time."

Michio
---> Sukimairu
Michio respects Suki's attitude as someone motivated to do things specially after he learned that she developed a way to help recall memories even after a reset happens. However, the two aren't really friends but just acquaintances because of an issue regarding his brain chip implant. The thing is, Michio has tried to explain that his old, deceased, human body has the chip planted to it, not his current, ghostly Highlander body. Unfortunately, the girl has a hard time believing his claims, leading her to still suspect Michio of having the chip inside him. Even if he still has the chip, it's not like he can really use it since he wasn't good at programming like Sagawa, and a lot of the patchwork they visit rarely have anything technology compatible with his old world's.

Argenta ---> Sukimairu

Argenta feels a bit awkward around Sukimairu. She had once tried to pronounce her full name only to end up badly biting her tongue in the process. She does admire her motivated spirit to do things, but she largely tries to avoid interacting with her whenever possible to avoid addressing her. As a result, she has opted to either use pronouns, descriptors, or the nickname Miss Memory when referring to her.

Michio ---> Kiri
Michio and Kiri are quite close. He finds the Girl's presence to be quite therapeutically calming and relaxing, making him turn a blind eye on her laziness. He especially appreciates Kiri joining him in stargazing sessions, even though the girl ends up counting sheep rather than stars halfway through most sessions.

Argenta ---> Kiri

Argenta has been patiently trying to teach Kiri about the 11 codes ever since she expressed some interest in them... Even though she seems to forget about them as soon as she does so. The blonde Knight does hope that Kiri can quell a bit of her laziness since she noticed how much her summoner and the crossbow-wielding girl differs. While her summoner is motivated to get things done, Kiri seems to be motivated in finding the next best place to take a nap.

To Kimiko Ono and Ko

Sherlock of Black & White | Promising Pupil

"I've been wondering... what if Kimiko-san had been your Summoner."
"I believe we have the best compatibility. Despite your incidents."
"Is it because of "that" incident."
"I... Yes... I believe she will not be as... accepting as you had been when you found out about that."

Michio ---> Kimiko

Michio feels like Kimiko's perspective of justice can be overwhelming at times. Granted that in the past, he was quite the same, he feels like ever since he became... well whatever he is now, his views about justice have softened compared to the girl's. If playing dirty can put him or the party at a significant advantage, he's willing to pull out all the stops. Despite this, they maintain a good friendship ever since he agreed to Kimiko's request to frighten her spirit using his apparitional attributes.

Argenta ---> Kimiko

Argenta views Kimiko as a good friend. In fact, she coined the term "Spicy Buddies" to refer to the alliance of spicy foods lovers comprised of herself, together with Argenta and Kyouko Himura. Even though Kimiko does seem to be the first one out during their culinary escapades, Argenta enjoys her company. She is afraid of how Kimiko would react when she finds out about the dark side of her past and

Michio ---> Ko

Michio is troubled about how Ko seems to be avoidant of him. Granted that he did prank him when they first met, Michio doesn't believe that is the sole reason why the blue haired boy practically runs away every time he sees him. Despite his attempts at befriending Ko, Michio has come to accept that not all the party members may want to establish a friendly relationship with him.

Argenta ---> Ko

Argenta sees Ko as a promising student of her 11 codes due to how much he diligently listens to her. Although he does seem visibly uncomfortable whenever she mentions her demise as a human in her world. She tries her best not to scare off such a promising pupil and get along with him.

Relationship to Kyouko/Kyouko

"Even after all this time... I still have some difficulty talking with Himura-san."
"She's that other childhood friend you were talking about, right? “
" Yes, we used to be close but clashing ideals about Sagawa's brother caused us to drift apart. "
" The past is history, and you should have left your grievances back in your old world. Whatever happens, we are a family now, so it may be wise to start thinking how you could reconcile with her. "
" You're right. Perhaps it is time to bury the hatchet now."

Painful Reminder | Spirited Heroine

Michio ---> Kyouko

Despite literally dying and coming back to life, Michio still has some difficulty speaking with Kyouko. He still feels guilty about how his stubbornness and pride caused a rift in their friendship which is still evident until today. He hopes that his second leash on life also proves to be a second chance to rekindle their old friendship and bury the proverbial hatchet.

Argenta ---> Kyou-Himu

Argenta is quite amazed how Kyouko was able to build Sol Lucidis and lead it. She could almost see the likeness of a powerful queen in the blonde but Argenta considers her decision to choose bluntness over politeness a bit troublesome at times where the situation calls for a more diplomatic approach. The blonde knight did feel anxious when she found out that Sol Lucidis was ruled by a round table, bringing back painful memories of the comrades that betrayed her and were eradicated by her vengeful hand. Still, she considers Kyouko a good friend and an integral member of the "Spicy Buddies". Their spicy food showdowns always attract a crowd wherever they challenge one another on said duels.

Michio ---> Kyouko

Whenever Michio sees Kyouko, he feels like he is staring at a living time capsule. The way she reminds him of how the young Kyouko was in his world is amazing and terrifying at the same time. Needless to say, he is closer to Hiruma-san than the Kyouko in his world since he finds her overall positivity and cheerfulness quite infectious. He envies how she can see the silver lining in most situations even if everything seems bleak and hopeless.

Argenta ---> Kyou-Hiru

Argenta finds Kyouko to be a mostly positive influence to the party, specially to their morale. However, the knight sometimes feels a bit overwhelmed by how Kyouko displays her admiration of her, and it doesn't help that all she gets from Michio is an awkward smile and the words "hang in there". Still, she treasures her friendship with Kyouko and even views her as a little sister she never had. She wouldn't really admit it, but Argenta believes that she'd be as free spirited as the brunette had it not been for her strict upbringing and discipline she received when she was still training as a knight.

Relationship to Haruka/Yulia

Luck Sack | Passive Protector

"Those two are sort of like us in a way."
"A knight and her lord... or in their case lady. I think that is pretty apparent. "
"Not just that, I may complain all the time how my luck has been pretty rotten so far but I was pretty fortunate that you became my partner. "
"Indeed, I doubt that there are many who could bring someone that wasn't a summoner yet back from the dead."
"Even though you sort of failed at it."
"If you have any complaints, I'm more than happy to make you a ghost forever."
"We really need to work on how you take jokes."

Michio
---> Haruka

Michio likes to take notes when Haruka decides to cook for the party. Since Argenta is only good at tasting food than making it, it has become his responsibility to make decent meals for the two of them when they travel alone but he can only seem to cook edible meals if he follows a recipe book. The two once watched a horror movie during a downtime in the party's activities and was quite surprised when she nearly squeezed the life out of him with a bear hug after being frightened by a jumpscare. Since then, he's started pranking her by shifting into ghost form and spooking her whenever she lets her guard down.

Michio ---> Yulia

Even though Yulia seems like a knight like Argenta, he is surprised by how lax and complacent she is towards her summoner. She merely accepts anything that Haruka does and follows her every order. While Michio sometimes envies the relationship between Yulia and Haruka, he is still glad to have a spirit who genuinely cares about fixing his sometimes twisted and misguided thinking. He understand that each summoner has their own needs and perhaps all Haruka needs is to have someone constantly watching her back.

Argenta ---> Haruka

Argenta sometimes acts as Haruka's personal food taster. With her vast culinary experience gained through centuries of travels, she has amassed a wellspring of gastronomic wisdom that Haruka finds immensely useful when trying out new dishes. It is quite a shame that she is not accepting of the burger as Argenta is but she understands that everyone has different tastes in food. When Argenta found out about how self-conscious Haruka is with her weight, she tried to put the girl into a hellish training regiment that was sure to help a maiden lose or maintain weight but Haruka ended up fainting halfway through forcing Argenta to just give her a recipe for tea that would pretty much do the same thing (She hates sharing the recipe since she considers it to be cheating. A maiden must work hard to maintain her figure!!!).

Argenta ---> Yulia

Argenta and Yulia are both knights yet their approaches at "handling" their summoners are completely night and day. While Argenta actively tries to correct Michio's life, for the better, Yulia merely obeys and follows her summoner's every word, something that Argenta really doesn't quite agree with. Certainly, a spirit's job is to protect their summoner foremost, but their summoner wouldn't need so much protecting if they don't get themselves in all that trouble to begin with. Nonetheless, she respects the green haired knight and even offers to spar with her from time to time.

Tropes Exercise (Optional):

Revisiting the Roots

Argenta and Michio once visited a patchwork only to find out that it nullifies the effects of a Highlander’s physiology making her vulnerable to curses, poisons, and other negative effects. She painstakingly had to forego her code temporarily and play dirty like in her younger years just to ensure their safety.

Jigsaw Puzzle Plot

Michio once used a flawed reproduction of the wishing tone to go back to the past and make sure he makes the “right” decisions. However, he ended up upsetting the Karmic balance of the world, cursing his entire family with misfortune. He was able to go back still but he realized he could not exert any control on his body whatsoever as his past consciousness was in control. He ended up living his entire past self’s life up until the point of his death existing only as a fragment of consciousness known as Nichio. When his supposed death finally came to pass, his consciousness was immediately sent back to the present as if nothing happened.

Ghostly Glide

Michio’s imperfect revival has caused several changes in his physiology. Aside from gaining the agelessness of a Highlander, his body is unstable enough that it can “glitch” from a state physical to an ethereal state. While he has struggled to get this under control at first, he has managed to turn this curse into a tool after learning how to switch it on and off at will. Michio’s first encounter with Kyouko Himura after his death in Patchwork Earth Hotel India happened while he is in this phantom-like state, almost making the latter believe that he was really a ghost.
