Special: Scarred Avenger – His wings removed, and his place in heaven denied to him, Marik is a being who has gone past the points of human suffering and come back. His will is that of iron, and so too is his fortitude in the face of hard decisions. Perhaps as a result of his suffering, Marik is a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, because of how strong his convictions are: strength only seconded by his sword arm. (Effect: Marik gains personal bonuses when on foot and in combat with the forces of an Overlord. These bonuses are doubled when fighting against the forces of an Overlord with the Anti-Divine Right trait , the Anti-Life Coalition trait, or who uses undead summons)

A Land untamed -- The land of Bjoriic that Marik and his forces call home is an unkind and harsh mistress. It is home to all manner of beasts, freak weather occurrences and natural barriers. As such, it has birthed a hardy and wild people, with beards as broad as a dwarfs and an arm as stout as a beer keg. It is a land of faith and honour, but it is a wild place: none the less. Beware those who forget to pack their winter clothes: Bjoriic shows no mercy to friends of the land, and even less to foes. (effect: Any units moving through Bjorric risks a difficult terrain check. The difficulty of the roll scales with Army size, intent and familiarity with the landscape. )

  • "Tear off his wings, and then throw him to the marsh. He can wallow in agony for a while, before he dies." -

Marik was born the son of a human and an Angelic mother. He was hailed as a bridge between heaven and earth, and his parents were incredibly loving individuals. All in all, a positive upbringing.

His father was a travelling warrior: A bodyguard of the highest moral fiber that had met his mother on the road, having saved the injured celestial from a group of demons. The two stayed with each other, falling in love in the most natural way possible, and soon Marik was born. Because of his father's life style, Marik and his parents constantly traveled, with the two adults serving as guards in the caravan.

Under his parent's tutelage and teachings, Marik grew into a fine young man. He had the strength of his father, and his mother's skill with magic and her radiant white wings. For the young Marik, they were a particular source of pride: a unique trait that made him special and connected him with heaven above. He developed a strong sense of faith because of those wings, and by the time he was fifteen he was a fine warrior, a decent mage and a man of incredible faith.

After fifteen years though, the calls of heaven were too strong for his mother. It seemed that the gods required their angel back, and reluctantly, Marik and his father had to bid farewell to the women they loved. Before she left, the angel told Marik that he would be able to visit her in heaven 'when he had proven himself to the gods.' The message gave him the conviction to keep up his practice, and soon, the two men were left alone: travelling the lands and honing their skills further.

One day, in his eighteenth year, during his travels with his father, Marik heard tale of a nearby town invaded by undead and left abandoned. Thinking himself and his father more than enough, he suggested to him that they expunge the town of the hated undead: an idea his father eventually relented to: on the condition that they leave as soon as he says so.

Marik felt a growing excitement. It felt correct that he smite the undead: They were abominations, after all, and he was an Angel-born. He was confident he and his father would be more than enough for the shambling undead, so he moved forward, unperturbed.

It turned out to be his moment of greatest hubris. It started out, as the pair had expected. They cleaved and smashed their way through the undead, until they made it to a manor at the center of the town. Inside was a large enough host of undead which they managed to break through, although it took a lot from the pair.

It was at this point, as the two rested, that the doors of the manor swung wide. A woman strode into the room, beautiful but dark. Marik felt a strange sensation surround the woman, but his father ignored it, standing up and believing the woman a victim in the blight on the town. He went over to her, weapons sheathed and with arms spread wide.

His kindness was met only with death. She shouted some hateful curse against the pair, before a bolt of lightning erupted from her fingers: piercing his father’s side and knocking him against a wall. Marik rose instantly, aiming to strike the woman before she could let loose another bolt of lightning. His sword was stopped inches from the stranger, by the blade of a pale-skinned monster. He flinched for a second, and his opponent pushed him back. Marik went to strike again, but a second vampire appeared, before he could slay the first: then a third appeared.

He was overwhelmed by the vampires, and soon, Marik was held down and beaten by the vampires, as a forth appeared, strolling alongside the raven-haired matron. He watched as the woman gave her vampire an order to feast, and he screamed out in anger as his father was drained of life.

Then, the matron turned her attention to him. It seemed she had not failed to notice his wings, and she gave a different, much crueller order to her vampire minions.

“Tear off his wings, and then throw him to the marsh. He can wallow in agony for a while, before he dies.”

He passed out from the agony, and awoke to the feel of the sun on his skin, a few days later. It seemed that a stranger had discovered him in the swamp, half-dead and in agony. The stranger nursed him back to health, and told him something about the lands they were in: A region just south of Sanguinus, the home of the Mistress of Ravens. Marik’s anger burned, as he realised he had a name for his enemy. What he also knew was that his chances of avenging his loss was impossible, were he to fight alone.

And so, he devised a plan to seek out a nearby location: He would communicate with his mother, and he would beseech the angels to help lead a crusade against the bitch that had taken so much from him. He consulted a map, as well as a library, and found that the nearest site with a close enough connection to the gods was in the nearby region of Bjoriic.

Once he was fully nursed back to health, Marik bid goodbye to the stranger who nursed him back to health, and made his way to Bjoriic. It took a long time to travel to the land on foot, and even longer to get to a holy site in the deep cold tundra of the land.

The journey was tough, but he eventually made it to a holy site strong enough that it might support his desires. He beseeched to the gods, and to the angels above, but there was only silence. He beseeched again, and soon the angelic form of his mother descended, giving Marik a glimmer of hope, before she told him the direst of news. She spoke of how the heavens could not interfere in the vengeance he sought. To make matters worse, Marik was told that being stripped of his wings meant his mother would not be able to visit him again: for he had lost his heritage.

The news nearly broke him, and it was only the last words of his mother that kept him from crumpling under the weight of his loss. She told him that there was hope for him yet: and that he need not travel far to find the forces that might be honed for a crusade: Not just against Sanguinus and its cruel Overduchess, but against all the evils of the world. For this task, he was given a final present: and the Heavenly Fort he makes home to this day was risen from the snowy Tundra of Bjoriic, a sign of the gods’ faith in Marik.

Gathering his courage, he spent the next few years trying to tame the lands of Bjoriic and creating a nation from the wilderness. People were initially reluctant, but he soon won them over, and began to build a country. As his country grew in strength, and as more people began to acknowledge him as a guardian and a leader, so too did Marik grow in strength.

After nearly a decade of growing, in his third decade of life, Marik was declared Lord of Bjoriic by the chiefs of the realm. Many outsiders had flocked to the land, following the rumours of the birth of a Heavenly Fort in the strange Frontier of Bjoriic. He had begun to amass a deadly army, and he decided now was time to announce his return to the Mistress of Ravens: The woman who had taken so very much from him.

The hunt had lasted for so long, and the fight longer still. The accursed vampire had fought with tooth and nail, sometimes literally, but even now: He was bowed low before Marik’s blade, crippled and defeated. The vampire’s face was young and pale, almost child-like, even. In the face of any other, the guardian might have buckled, and shown mercy, but this was no mere villain: No mere Overlord’s servant, but the servant of Gennevë. It was a child of the Raven witch, the woman who had taken everything from him: His father, his wings, his passage into heaven and his mother…Gone, at the whims of the heartless wench.

The Vampire seemed exhausted, and Marik knew he too felt the creeping claws of exhaustion at his throat. Adrenaline kept him on his feet, and he indicated to one of his soldiers, who handed him a set of chains. He slammed a Platemail fist into the Vampire’s jaw, knocking it out briefly.

When it awoke, It was bound to a rock, on a cliff face near the battleground. She was facing east, and her inner-clock was shouting wild warnings past the agony of her face. Directly to her right sat Maric, in his hands was not a sword, but a quill and parchment, at his side was a pair of plyers, and a pair of pristine, white fangs. He placed the folded note into the bound vampire’s lap, and he sat down. “Let us watch the sunset together, you and I.”

A number of days later, the letter reached the Mistress of Ravens, its contents so very simple.

“You took my father and my wings. I will take your blasphemous children, and then I will take your tongue.”

  • Bjoriic, The untamed Wilds
    tumblr_inline_nbnjldp6731r9lhsj.png

A frozen expanse of Forests and Tundra, Bjoriic is a hardy place with a predisposition for raising rugged men and rowdy women. It is most known for its near year long snowfall, its host of fearsome creatures and its strong natives. The history of this land is relatively unknown, having never played host to any prominent Guardians or Overlords prior to Marik. The rugged land has appeared in texts as a sort of lodestone for many druidic communities, and has been suggested as a sight of pilgrimage in more than one text. As such, Bjoriic seems to play host to a number of Druidic communities, and is said to be a land 'close to the gods'

    Land Types: Forest-Tundra

Upgrades: Normal Lands - 800 Land Improvement Points.

-A stout, loud and happy man who wears his faith as proudly as his armour. He is as fierce and as proud a warrior as you might find, but his body bears many scars from his battles against evil. Despite all of his war-wounds, he fights with Marik in the hopes that the Celestial being might lead a crusade against the darkness that stole his family from him.

      Traits

      -Weapon Mastery 1
      -Painless Combat
      -Magic Trait: Holy Aura

    • spectral_dancer_wallpaper_by_fear_sas-d38dowz.jpg

-A beautiful Eledhel who leads her people in times of war. She is a fair and aloof creature, but her respect for the divine and her skill with a blade make her incredibly popular amongst Marik’s forces. Despite how readily she throws herself into battle, she seems to never attract any wounds, which stands as a monument of her skill in war.

      Traits

      -Weapon Mastery 2
      -Leader 1

    • character_design___dryad_by_zackichan-d3erajb.jpg

A strange Dryad who came to Marik’s aid as he expanded his domain into the forests, Cynthia serves as the Celestial’s prime advisor in war, using her connection to nature as a tool for gathering nature. All she asks in return is that the forest be respected: A price Marik pays readily.

      Traits
      - Magic - Earth Magic
      -Magic - Water Magic
      -Magic - Healing Hands
-Advisor, Cynthia is a strong advisor and intelligent dryad. She may even end up being used as a conduit by the GM to pass along intuition that can help... or hinder if you have no luck.
-Animal Companion, unlike the spell which is 'summon' animal companion Cynthia's animal companion never wanders far from the dryad, a brilliant and majestic White Stag

A Dryad that serves as second in command to Cynthia. She leads the more militant Dryads in times of war, and often acts the flirtatious soul to Marik and his soldiers. It seems she has a crush on Mir’een.

      Traits
      -Weapon Mastery 2
      -Survivor
      -Beautiful
      -Eye of the eagle

    • cleric_comm_by_yamao-d61yq9x.jpg

A native of the lands, and a man who was almost thrown out of the papacy several times for his tendency to get drunk and brawl. He is a fearsome man, and a good friend to all who surround him. Despite his near misses with losing Priest-hood, he was renowned for his strength of faith and holy fervor.

      Traits
      - Weapon Mastery 1
      -Armour Expert
-Rousing Speeches: when tiems seem dark and grim, at the eve of battle Angjar will stride before the troops, putting fire and zeal int ohis words to inspire the troops taht this day they will not succumb to shadow and darkness, this day they fight for whats important and this day they will drive out the darkness. And first one to slay a vile beast or enemy gets the first drink free after the battle.

Double post: It should be noted that this post is unfinished, and I have a very clear gap for an Overlord nemesis. If anyone's character feels paticularily diabolical, feel free to nominate yourself. Who so ever chooses Marik as a Nemesis should be aware that at some point in the past, either your overlord or an agent of your overlord cut off Marik's wings.

Oh, any guardies want to be nemesis pals? I swear I won't pillage too much of your stuff.

This is correct, biographies, as well as appearance descriptions/pictures might influence the trait pool for which we roll the traits.
Eugh, now I have to think further about my captains. :(

Always found at the vanguard of any mission or force, a Dwarf Ranger and scout who is the first to enter a battle and the last to leave. Though engaging a foe is not what he does most of the time, he exists to scout ahead the main force and spot threats along the way and when called upon to lead the vanguard into battle with his trusty axe and throwing axes.

He has a particular grievance against the Skaven who he witnessed slaughtering most of his clanhold as a child and is ever eager to wet the thirst of his axe with Skaven Blood when he can.

Traits:
Weapon Mastery 2
Hatred 1 (Skaven)

Example of one of my captains which kad rolled for. Due to him having a past with skaven, he rolled the traits and that hatred trait for skaven was selected

Right, so review mine so far while I hunt for pics?

PS: I can't see your sig since it shows as broken image, Sarz.

In the mighty words of Mario.... Heerreee we gooooooo!

Not actually finished yet, but its after midnight and I need sleep :p

    Specials:
    Fallen Guardian:
While Marcas is not the same man he was many years ago there are some things he sticks to, predominately a strict regimen of physical training to keep his body honed as a natural weapon. While the corruption he has suffered has changed his body to some degree he retains the appearance of a well build man in peak physical condition... for the most part. As a result much of his impressive strength and speed comes from good old fashioned training rather than magic or mutation based shortcuts.

    Corrupted Companion:
As Marcas sank deeper into the dark spirits influence and power so to did his closest friend and ally. While Marcas' outward appearance remained mostly the same his companion took on more obvious signs of corruption, growing in size, becoming more aggressive and growing the occasional mutation such as a toughened hide, sharper, poisoned claws and bone-like spines capable of cutting like razors. The companion remains loyal to Marcas through their original bond which itself has become corrupted allowing Marcas to dominate his companions mind and also force obedience at will.

    Background:
Marcas Lutair was once a protector of nature, a guardian of the forests, that was however many years ago now. Over time he became disheartened with the casual disregard many of the common folk had for nature, he reached a breaking point after a particularly greedy merchant tried to fell a large portion of the forest he called home in order to send the lumber back to his home city to be cut shaped or burned into whatever the city folk needed wood for. while the merchant was there he also decided the pelts on many of the animals of the forest would make him a tidy extra sum of coin and sent numerous hunters in to fetch as much as they could. Marcas snapped forged a pact with ancient dark spirits of the forest before he retaliated with the same base brutality against the hunters, the loggers and finally the merchant running the whole operation. His methods were... not well received by others of good nature, by this point however Marcas was heavily corrupted by the dark spirits and was starting to spread that corruption to those around him. After a while another guardian came to the forest after hearing of Marcas situation, after investigating and initially trying to help, she was forced to exile and drive Marcas out of the forest along with his corrupted followers.

Exiled from the only home he had known for much of his life, Marcas swore to return and retake his domain by force. That was however going to be rather difficult with the handful of loyal followers he had with him. and so he wandered the world seeking a new place to build up a base of power from so that he might return and reclaim what he perceived as his birthright.
  • The Dark Druids Domains - Mountains and Forests:

    • The Accursed Fissure:
Once this landmark was simply a deep crack in the ground with a few old mines dug into its sheer walls and a rapid river running the length of its base. Then Marcas found it after his exile and made himself at home, its name quickly changed as Marcus exercised his earth magic and his Moredhel allies showed why they were counted particularly good engineers. A fortress was forged from the bare rock walls, some exposed walkways and buttresses flared out from the sides at various intervals but the bulk of the new lair was built into the sides of the fissure giving the whole area an even more menacing nature than it had already possessed.

      Condition and Upgrades:
      Pristine Mountain Fortress
      Expanded Barracks (Human)
      Expanded Barracks (Moredhel)
      Torture Chamber
      Armoured Treasure Vault
      Well x2
      Armoury
      Escape Tunnel

    • Walled River City of Limestone Falls:
The closest settlement to The Accursed Fissure and also the largest in the region. Situated at the base of the mountain straddling the major river that also flows through the Fissure it is home of a sizable Moredhel and human population, the later treated little better than second class citizens in recent times. When Marcas first came to the region he found the Moredhel living in the mountains and forests to be suited to his task. Like the Elhedel of Baelmyst Forest, they were excellent archers and competent woodsmen, unlike their kin they were not at put off by Marcas behaviour and in short order Marcas had forged bonds with several of the settlements to follow him. It was not long afterwards that with their help the Accursed Fissure was forged and the humans of Limestone Falls grew worried enough to attempt to drive Marcas and the Moredhel off. Repulsed the humans slunk back to their walls and were soon horrified to realise Marcas was not about to let that be the end of it. The battle that followed was short, for while the Humans had their walls they had little in the way of an army as what they did have lay dead in their attempt to drive Marcas off. They were overwhelmed after the first breach and Marcas instituted a form of martial law with Moredhel loyal to him taking up the leadership role in the city.

      Smaller Stone Bay Settlements:
      • Moredhel Town of Frostheart, When Marcas first came to the region he spent time in the four most prominent Moredhel villages each in turn before coming to Frostheart. Frostheart was the closest the Local Moredhel had at the time to a capital, high in the mountains it acted as a place of council for the clans and the seat of the current warlord. While it has lost its primary function with Marcas rule of the region and the taking of Limestone Falls it does still serve a purpose as a strong Moredhel presence in the high mountains for Marcas to recruit from when the time is needed.
      • Moredhel Village of Dirgewolf, Home of the Dirgewolf clan and the first to join Marcas in his exile.
      • Moredhel Village of Fletchmark, Home of the Fletchmark clan, initially reluctant to join Marcas they came around after their best hunter challenged Marcas... and was broken rather quickly.
      • Moredhel Coastal Village of Shadehail, Home to the Shadehail clan and the last to join Marcas as they traded regularly with Limestone falls and did initially not wish to needlessly antagonise their larger neighbour. The backing of the other three clans and a demonstration from Marcas changed their minds in the end.
      • Moredhel Village of Scardream, The third to join Marcas before he went to Frostmark.
      • Great Mines of the Fissure, After forging his lair and taking Limestone Falls, Marcas set about reopening the abandoned mines that had been in the Fissure before he moved in. Rebellious humans were shipped upriver to work in the mines as punishment for their dissent in the early days. Eventually labour in the mines became the general punishment for almost any misdemeanour in Limestone falls and after a time even Moredhel found themselves toiling away to work off some offence or another. of course only petty crimes or ones that do not directly challenge Marcas goals receive this punishment, more serious crimes are subject to public executions.

Bio: Maeve was but six years old when Marcas was exiled, barely old enough to remember the woman the birthed her. Supposedly her fathers taint had spread to her according to the guardian that exiled them, or at least that is what she has been told over the years by others old enough to remember those events clearly. Growing up as the daughter of a Druid exiled from his forest, Maeve ...

    • Race: Nightmare
Bio: No one is quite sure when Nashadah joined Marcas, Marcas himself does not even know if one were to ask him. Rumours from outside of Marcas influence suggest the Nightmare appeared shortly after Marcas made his dark pact, but to those with Marcas, he has always been by the Druids side. Regardless of his origins, Nashadah has proven to be an able ally to Marcas, not once questioning the Druids commands and always seeking to fulfil the orders to the fullest of his capability, be it execution by the blade or... other means.... or providing a steadfast leader for a marauding band of Moredhel.

    • Race: Nightmare
Bio: The second Nightmare in Marcas inner circle. He shares little of the blade skill Nashadah shows but has proven his worth in other areas. Also unlike Nashadah, Estenar is known to have joined Marcas after he united the Moredhel Clans of Stone Bay under his banner. The Reasons why are not known, or where he came from, just that he arrived and began serving in an advisory fashion to Marcas one day and that the Druid did not even question it.

    • Race: Human
Bio: For a Human to rise in Marcas favour is not an easy task and a testament to their skill and fortitude, Elise is no exception. Elise came to Marcas attention after Limestone Falls was seized. A girl of some confidence and talent, A number of the cityfolk were afraid of her and it was not long before she crossed paths with a Moredhel enforcement squad, to the squads misfortune. When finally subdued and brought beaten and bloody before Marcas she had lost none of her confidence and in that Marcas saw potential. She was of course condemned to the mines to serve her allotted time for whatever charge was eventually laid against her and when her time was up she was once more brought to Marcas. Her time in the mines had left her a shell of her prime self but still she maintained her posture before Marcas. Seeing the potential he saw had not been easily crushed Marcas made her an offer to serve in his inner circle. She replied in formal tone with a smile and an approximation of a courtesy, the best her battered and weakened body could perform, "How could I refuse such a generous host.". Marcas simple nodded and waved her away, the same Moredhel guards that had brought her in took her to one of the barracks halls and left her to fend for herself. Her recovery was slow initially and not without its ... setbacks by unwanted 'guests' but within a month she had established her place in Marcas inner circle and moved herself to one of the more luxurious rooms in the Fissure.

    • Race: Moredhel
Bio: The first son of the chieftain of the Dirgewolf clan, Mumand joined Marcas early after he had arrived in the Stone Bay region. As the son of the chieftain he was groomed to lead the Moredhel warriors of the Dirgewolf clan and under Marcas' banner, he has done so diligently. His accomplishments under Marcas have been such that he now holds as much power as the Warlord among the clans and unlike the Warlord he has Marcas direct authority to back him up.
      Traits:
      Weapon Mastery 2
Warlord, how does a warlord remain the alpha male, by sometimes cracking some skulls of rivals, enemies and just by general example. If Mumand shows his superiority his warriors follow, in Marcas's name, of course.

    • Race: Moredhel
Bio: A member of the Scardream clan, Anaich is something of an oddity. While capable with small blades this is not the reason she serves in Marcas inner circle. As it turns out Anaich is quite skilled at getting people to talk, unlike many of her kin she doesn't even need toture most of the time... though some of her... victims(?)... might say otherwise. She also has a somewhat impetuous nature and rarely holds back from things she desires.
      Traits:
      Assassin 2
      Stealthy 1

    • Race: Human
Bio: Like Elise, Adams rise to the Inner Circle was not boring. As Marcas slowly bagan adding Human troops to the forces under his command it became clear that they would need a leader from their own ranks to get the best from them. Marcas took several promising candidates and volunteers who believed they had what it took for the position and set them about a task, raiding towns outside the Stone Bay region with a handful of the human troops he had been training, a moredhel commander was sent as an observer but was told to take no action in the execution of the task itself. The first two groups sent failed, the Moredhel commander alone returning to report the bands failures. The third group sent had two candidates, an older man Marcas had selected for the task and a young man that had volunteered as the formers second in command.

Two weeks after they were sent out two thirds of the men returned with the Moredhel commander and several wagonloads of plunder, Neither the old or young man was with them. Instead the Moredhel commander brought forth Adam, who had simply gone as one of the troops initially. Marcas asked why Adam was there and not one of the two candidates and when the Moredhel started to answer the Druid cut him off and gestured for Adam to speak instead. "The old man was tough as nails and had a solid grasp of the chain of command, but was so set in his ways he lacked flexability. The runt was a good swordsman but cocky and far too sure of himself despite lacking experience, when the old man was killed the runt reacted quickly but failed to grasp what was happening in its full extent, he died shortly thereafter." Adam stopped there before Marcas urged him to continue. "When the runt went down screaming I stepped in to stop the men from bolting, I'd bleed beside them, shared canteens with them, neither of your hand picked candidates had even tried that. The men rallied and while we took some losses the objective was accomplished. To put it simply, I'm young enough to be bold and old enough to know better. I didn't ask to be one of your leaders, but after seeming the calibre of men that have or were selected for other reasons I think I should have stepped up at the start, might have saved the lives of the previous two raids."

Marcas was silent for a time before he threw his head back and laughed, "You succeeded where others failed, keep that up and I may overlook your boldness in regards to how you speak to me in the future." Marcas answered before dismissing Adam and the Moredhel commander.
      Traits:
      Leader 2
      Weapon Mastery 1

    • Race: Moredhel
Bio: Hand picked in her early teens to be the companion and bodyguard of Maeve. Her clan name and whatever birthright she had was stripped from her and her fate irrevocably tied to Maeve through magical means so that nothing would compromise her dedication to the task. A little older than Maeve, Taimzen given extensive weapons training to prepare her for the task. Taimzen has become something of an older sister to Maeve, occasionally tempering her impulsiveness and in general attempting to keep the girl safe in a world where many might try to strike at Marcas through his child, not all of them known enemies.
      Traits:
      Weapon Mastery 2
Watchful Gaze, Taimzen takes her task, her purpose in life seriously and keeps a eye out for Maeve at all times. Protecting her from any imminent ambush or attempt at her life regarding hidden dangers Maeve might find herself in.

Sig works fine for me *shrugs*

Anyways, Alphakoka,
Stats & Traits in order
Lands & Lair in order

if you can have a treasure of 5'000 in your bio tab for the leftover lair/land points it would be swell and I, or Kad, will roll for the captains once bios and such are done :p

Right: I've finished everything except my Army now. I believe I've spent both Sanctuary and Land points exactly.

If it isn't clear from the Bio, Andrea is going to be my Nemesis, the cruel Vampire loving bitch.

<3

Limeypanda that history was very moving. You have inspired me to make my own history instead of keeping with a simple bio. XD Assuming that is allowed seeing how the character was already approved.

Assuming the History doesn't really do anything to alter the character, I can't see how it would be an issue.

Also, Moving !? O_o What part was moving?

I dunno. I just really liked it.

And will someone tell me how you do the tabs? My searching for the answer has been quite unfruitful.

It is really easy to do tabs actually. I learned by just clicking 'Reply' on the post of someone who had formatted it using tabs.

Anyway, the coding.

Start off the first part of the post you want to have tabbed with the tag [Tabs]

After that, use the function [tab] and [/tab] to make a new tab inside that now Tabs'd off post.

If you want to do a set of tabs within a tab (Say, like, with Captains) Just open up a new [Tabs] and it should work.

Edit: Also, glad you liked the background.

Edit #2: Also, to name a [tab] you need to just use [tab=___]

Ah, okay. Thanks.

And there is no reason not to like it. It was very well done.

Edit: My CS post might look like a half-destroyed project in a goblins workshop for a little while.

No worries Kae'os, we have all been there. So was mine when I made the transition to tabs and messed it up the first time, luckily none saw that >.>

You know commander Bios can influence rolled traits right?
Sarzu said:
This is correct, biographies, as well as appearance descriptions/pictures might influence the trait pool for which we roll the traits.

...

I was not aware of that fact, haha. Alright, never mind on it being ready for traits, I'll do up some bios tonight and post again when it's really ready for attention.

Anti-heavenly stuff? Sweet, sign me-

I heavily considered you, but decided to go with Andrea for one simple reason: Your character would not have let Marik live, even after the mutilation. Andrea's character made a mistake, and only mutilated him, prior to dumping the 'body'

Say, does anybody who's done this roleplay before have any tips for military? I can't seem to get mine to work out (too much infantry, not enough Cavalry or Archers). Just feels like I'm falling a bit behind in military.
