The leader dragged Jules into the center of the cold, icy room, responding to the Turian with. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, alien racists. But, if it helps, he's not coming back to the base with us." She started punching in some codes to the small device in her hands, quickly making sure they were the correct ones. It was easy for the dials to slip into another number if you didn't pay attention, and traveling to another universe you don't know is a massive pain in the ass. Layla's done it before, and while it didn't end badly, she was certainly mocked for it by her 'friend.' It's a very long story, one involving hentai-- Anyway,
The device was set up, and everything was ready to go, but she continued to her Turian second in command, "I'd like to see how these guys tick. Might be good for us to use one day." After that, Layla quickly pressed the small button on top of her device, and within seconds, a flash of neon green surrounded the room, and once the Cerberus troops got in, they'd find the room completely empty. The servers were fried, whatever the flash was, it acted like an EMP to the electronics, but there was no sign of the attackers anywhere.
They just vanished into thin air.
As Jules slept, the decision's to keep him alive was a debating point to several in the gang, most of whom were not the biggest fans of his current employer, and would've enjoyed seeing him torn apart piece by piece. The leader, however, didn't falter in defending Jules..... Well, not as in he's a young kid. When they found that out, the leader did feel he was simply too young to do this, but then again, she did hit him really hard in the face and worked with a terrorists group.
Really, the age thing didn't phase her too much, it came and went, and with it ideas of testing the phantom. Recruiting him didn't seem like an option, too many people hated him, so she wanted to see his abilities up close and personal. When Jules would wake up once again, he'd find himself in a rather 'unique' position.
If you thought he would be in bed, his leg bandaged up, dressed in fine pajamas, sleeping on a king sized bed in a house along a sunny beach, all of which is on a remote island. You'd be wrong.
Instead, he'd find himself upside down......... Covered in webbing. In a massive open area, like an abandoned arena underground. And next to him were others also trapped in webbing, but their corpses were decaying, as if their blood was drained. Oh, and there were several giant spiders on the ground and above on the ceiling.
Frostbite Spiders, to be exact. Quite the massive change in location scenery, don't you think?
