I could try to translate that title but I'm a lazy fugg
I couldn't even think of a good name.
Aaaanyways, let's get a-rolling.
DimenShift, a rather decent MMO(think Onigiri or CosmicBreak levels of popularity with SoulWorker graphics) that is rising in Japan, and has recently opened new Servers in various parts of Southeast Asia in the form of a Southeast Asian Server. But no, this isn't about the one week old Southeast Asian Servers, this is about the Japanese Servers that have thrived for about half a year now.
There is a certain 'Gang' within the game known as [Insert Name Here]. In case it wasn't obvious, Gangs are equivalents to 'Guilds' or 'Clans' in certain MMOs. Now, anyways, [Insert Name Here] was started by the Bancho-class leader, Kongoumaru, and has not really grown too much, but hey, they're happy. That matters, right?
So one day, one of the members, Matcha, suggests that, since they've known each other for quite a while, they should all meet at a spot.
Little do they know, they were from the same school...
Setting of DimenShift
If it's unclear, fret little. It'll be explained as we RP and worldbuild.
DimenShift is an open-world MMO with exploration and mission mechanics very similiar to Phantasy Star Online 2. In terms of graphic quality, it is on par with Soul Worker and Closers, which means your potato can run it without getting fried like the last time you ran TERA. Popularity-wise, it rivals Onigiri and CosmicBreak by a small percentage. Now that I have a comparison, elaboration will be easier.
Plot-wise, the player character starts off in the character creation screen, customizing your character before finding yourself in a school setting, where a tutorial is provided on how to do stuff like beat the crap out of targets at your respective club.
Afterwards, some weird shit happens where mythical creatures and aliens pop up and you beat the crap out of them. Once you're all good, some cloaked person gives you a key that leads to the 'Occidental Realm' or something.
And here's where the comparison with PSO2 comes in. The 'interaction hub' is a small town remniscent of some part of Tokyo or something. While PSO2 has Planets, DimenShift has Realms. These realms are accessed by having 'Realm Keys' in your inventory.
But hey, that's tutorial stuff, and you can only join or create Gangs from Level 10 onwards.
The current Level Cap is 50.
Classes of DimenShift
I'm going to be flexible with these. Just make sense out of these and don't make a Duelist shoot frost lasers from his eyes. If you request a class, I might consider a method of integration. I'm still figuring out how to fit 'Alchemist' in. And 'Beastmaster'.
Also there is no race system.
NOTE: I might change the class system soon, but it shouldn't affect much.
Unless stated, all classes have height ranges of 1.3 to 2 metres and are not genderlocked. Also chest adjustments are akin to PSO2 - not too ridiculous, but still there.
Duelist
A young master trained in the art of kendo and archery. Most skills stem from swordsmanship and archery. When trained with the sword, the Duelist will display a wide array of blade skills and offensive batter. When trained with the bow and quiver, the Duelist displays a fair deal of far-range blasts.
At Level 40, the Duelist can specialise into Swordmaster and Archer. Swordmaster will gain the ability to learn more blade weapon skills and in turn, learn to dual-wield or wield a shield, and the Archer will be able to learn DPS attacks.
Delinquent
The brass-knuckled fist-fighting rebel with a hot head. Their kicks and punches are to be feared. They might even use the power of their unbreakable spirit(think DBZ ki) to knock you from afar.
At Level 40, the Delinquent can specialise into the Bancho or the Streetfighter. The Bancho prefers the usage of fists, while the Streetfighter kicks and jumps very hard. The Streetfighter and the Mahou Shoujo are the only classes capable of performing the 'Triple Jump', as opposed to the usual Doube Jump in all classes.
Devicer
An expert in technology whose default weapons are a set of power drill and wrench. They can build machines(think on par with Academics from Dragon Nest) and offend with a drill.
At Level 40, they can differentiate into Spinmaster or Mechamaster. Spinmaster is skilled in drills and can use all kinds of drill-based offense tactics, to the point of creating hurricanes and shooting drill bullets, and can also use weapons along the lines of chainsaws and buzzsaws. Mechamasters are much like Grenadiers from Aura Kingdom, who rely on machines and have evolved to utilise gun weapons and summoned machinery.
Mahou Shoujo
(Only accepting one for now)
A class available to be created for a limited time 4 months ago, with said event lasting a single week when the game's name was not too known, much like the Dark Avenger and Silver Hunter of Dragon Nest. Their halos and devil tails bring up a fair deal of suspicion among players, due to said traits being rather non-human in nature. The Mahou Shoujo is most dubious in terms of lore, and notorious for its genderlock(female) and limited customizability, with heights ranging from 1.0 to 1.6 metres, and bust size limits being a C. They are however capable of a good deal of elemental magic and buff-debuffs. However, people who play this class prefers the usage of buffs and debuffs. As the only class capable of healing besides the Mechamaster(Mahou Shoujo healing is superior), they are pretty precious and limited. Much like the Battle Mage from Asker Online, she can use her stave as a broom and a bludgeon weapon.
At Level 60, she can specialise into Combat Witch and Holy Saint. Combat Witch specialises in debuffs and status effects, while Holy Saint focuses on buffs and healing. Holy Saint is ideal for healing based on analysed files, and by analysed files I mean 'the Level Cap is 50' and these classes do not exist.

Submit the application for your avatar on this thread, and your 'real' application via PM. Not following this rule has consequences.
All players should be students of 'Hoshizora High School'.
I do encourage 'exceptions', but run the idea through me via PM. Too many 'exceptions' spoil the stew. I do wish to see 'teacher' and 'guy who uses a VPN and doesn't live in Japan'.
If you have ideas regarding your real-life persona, ask via PM. If you have ideas regarding your avatar, feel free to use the thread.
Try your best to avoid talk regarding your real-life persona here, until we actually reveal them in-RP.
You can tell that I like keeping surprises.
I will allow 1 Lv50, 2 Lv41-49, 3 Lv31-40 and and unlimited number of others. This does not include me.
One active skill per five levels are permitted, while one passive skill per ten levels are permitted. In-character, the game uses something akin to Dragon Nest's skill tree, where you allocate points to learn new skills and unlock them. For simplicity's sake, we'll do this.
