- Slice of Life is my favorites, but I also love fandom based* and country based rps. I'm open to trying most things, but there are a couple that I won't do.
*I'm not interested in fandoms I don't know and I am not interested in playing canon characters. I only play OCs.
Port Washington is suburban village in Nassau County, Long Island, New York. This is a town where everyone is rather friendly, even if you have just moved in! The village itself is quite large and has several schools. Happy Montessori School (40 Pleasant Ave) is the Pre-School. There are four elementary schools: John Philip Sousa Elementary (101 Sands Point Rd), Guggenheim Elementary (38 Poplar Pl), Manorhaven Elementary (12 Morewood Oaks) and John J. Daly Elementary (36 Rockwood Ave). There is one middle school, Carrie Palmer Weber Middle (52 Campus Dr) and there is one high school, Paul D. Schreiber High (101 Campus Dr). The Middle and High School are located on the same campus, just two different buildings. In addition to the traditional schools there are a few others: St. Peter of Alcantara; a private (catholic) school for children in nursery school to eighth grade (1321 Port Washington Blvd) and Vincent Smith School; a special education school for first grade through twelfth grade ( 322 Port Washington Blvd). Most people live in your typical suburban homes, but there are a few from every range; from the apartment people to the small hobby farmers. This is the type of place where you would expect to see any and every vehicle, from an Audi Convertible or Lamborghini to a GMC pickup truck, a family van, or Jeep. It is a very large village with various parks and locations spread around.
It's the middle of Spring in New York, That also means the school year is nearly over, the youngsters have just over a month left, ending in mid June. The grass is growing greener, the flowers are mid-blossom and the trees are no longer bare. The pesky bees and mosquitoes are back to annoy everyone, but so is the cheery birdsong, the familiar cricket chirps and the occasional frog croak... not to mention all of the mewing from the stray cats. It is normally pleasantly warm during the day and chilly at nights. Temperatures can range from the fifties to the high eighties during the day and can drop into the low forties at night. The rainy season has mostly ended by now, but showers are still normal for the area. This is the time of year where you might need a tank top, shorts and flip flops one day, then a sweatshirt, jeans and boots the next.
