It's about time to revisit my childhood! Ah yes! Naruto... the first anime I ever really got into! I don't really have such a wonderful idea for a plot but heck this is still going to be hell of a good RP!

For some sort of plot, three new soon-to-be ninjas start out there journey in Konoha, aka the village hidden in the leaves. Everything starts innocent... but slowly turns into a clusterfuck as the ninjas soon get involved with the wrong crowd. Not everything is as it seems...

    ~Characters!~

    My OC's

    Name: Shika Hayakawa

    Age: 18

    Gender: Female

    Appearance:
    tAG_143720.jpg

Juuust imagine her with deer antlers too. XD

    Chakra Affinity: Water and Electricity

Personality: Outgoing, a little weird and nerdy as well. She likes to joke around even when the jokes end up weirding people out. Those are the best jokes though! It makes her laugh to see people have a "dafuq" reaction to what she says or jokes about. She isn't the best ninja. She's quite clutzy and doesn't always have a fast reaction, which causes her to have difficulty in becoming a ninja.

History: Nothing oh-so-tragic has happened in her life... yet. Although she lives alone and has no parents. She doesn't know who they are or what happened to them. She has no relatives either. Her friends are the closest thing to a family she could possibly have.

Likes: Miso soup and white rice. As well as chicken... mmm... and rice cakes... you know, I think most food she really likes. Eating is practically a hobby. Good thing being a ninja is a work-out for her. That's how she stays slim despite all the food she eats.

Dislikes: Having to wait for things. If she's on a mission and it involves waiting, she hates it. She's not very patient when it comes to action, but she can be very patient with people. She also dislikes any ninjas who are really considered "villains". Well at least she dislikes them... for now. DUN DUN DUN.

    Desu Juice's OCs!

    Name: Minako Hayashi

    Age: 18

    Appearance:
    latest

Minako has honey-brown hair, and brown eyes. She usually wears baggy, black high-wasted shorts, a red shirt, and a short, baggy leather jacket. She wears black combat boots, with red laces.

Personality: Minako's tough appearance and frowny face aren't really what they seem. When she doesn't know someone, she'll act bossy and aloof. However, once she feels comfortable, Minako will open up and reveal a completely different person. She's actually incredibly caring and sensitive, and pretty goofy too.

History: Minako's mother was killed by an unknown ninja when she was very young. Her brother vanished a year later, and it was assumed by officials he simply ran away.
Her father, plagued by a strange dog entity that caused him to mess up and get hurt badly during ninja missions, one day came home to find the remnants of a ritual that had sealed the dog Youkai inside of his daughter, Minato.
People around her started saying that it was her brother, Akiko that had killed their mother, but the sassy girl quickly shut up those that dared spread the rumor. People then began to dislike her because they were afraid if the Yokai that was sealed inside of her, and she quickly found she no friends, and most people made her life a living hell.
After such a hard time in her neighborhood, Minako decided to move to a different place when she turned 18, and enrolled herself in the Academy after training her personal skills for a long time in a nearby forest.

Likes: Coffee, sweets, dogs, yelling at people, winning arguments, food, winning fights, being able to open up, birds, chasing balls, running, climbing high places.

Dislikes: Being in cramped places, annoying people, "bakas," bugs.

    Chakra Affinity: Earth/Wind.

    Specific/Unusual Powers:

Dog Breath: Exhales a huge gust of wind to spread smoke bombs further, potentially can use poison gas bomb that acts like a tear gas.
Dog Turn: Powerful, chakra-consuming attack that has several stages. The first stage is a genjutsu that causes her to look like a dog. It helps her hide.
The second releases part of the Yokai's charka, and causes her to return to human form to sprout claws and a tail, and become generally pretty scary in appearance.
The third stage releases the Yokai completely, causing her to become a massive dog with huge fangs and claws- she, in turn, becomes much more powerful.
Cutting Wind: Throws many shuriken into the air, and disperses them by spinning rapidly in a circle, sending them flying around in all directions. Then, she spins in reverse for a shorter duration, drawing the weapons back to her slightly, causing the shuriken to bounce back a little to cut unsuspecting enemies.

Minako has honey-brown hair, and brown eyes. She usually wears baggy, black high-wasted shorts, a red shirt, and a short, baggy leather jacket. She also wears black combat boots, with red laces.
Minako's nails tend to be a bit pouty at the ends, and her teeth are sharper than most people's- this is probably because of the dog Yokai in her. There is a black-ink seal that takes up a large portion of her upper back, this was used to trap the Inugami in her body.

There are more attacks and powers to come, I just need to figure some stuff out >.>

Minako watched the people as they walked by, behind the glass window. Right-to-left, right-to-left. Their paces never matched- someone was always behind, and someone was always in front. Minako found this to be another cold truth of the world. She took a sip of her coffee.
Sometimes, they would look up and see Minako sitting at her table in front of the glass, sipping her coffee with a book in her hand. She would stare at them in contempt until they looked away, sometimes looking ashamed, as if they regretted their staring, sometimes looking indifferent, or like they expected the look.

This was Minako's favorite café, and she came often enough that the waiter had written her off as a regular. Minako only had to mumble, "The usual," and the waiter already knew to bring her a black coffee- no sugar, no milk, and a big slice of chocolate cake.
And the waiter also knew better than to make small talk with the girl, especially after the argument they had.
He assumed that the Chunin had a lot on her mind- and he wrote it off as her usual mood, fitting the black coffee and cake that was also her usual.

She was waiting for an old friend this time. Her book stayed in her leather bag.

Minako ostracized the people behind the cold glass, and dwelled on the mission they were being sent on. It was a C-rank mission- Minako gripped the handle of her mug angrily. Her and Shika were Chunin, for crying out loud! Stupid investigations were for genin, not powerful Chunin!
She huffed, and glared at the dark liquid in the mug.

[fieldbox=", White, dashed, 10"][fieldbox="Shika, Plum, dashed, 10"]She was late again, this time for meeting up with her old time friend, Minako. She ran as fast as she could to the cafe, tripping a couple of times along the way, but Shika knew it would make no difference. She would be late for sure.

As she ran, each passer-by stared at her. Of course they did, why wouldn't they? No one in the entire village... possibly the entire world had deer antlers... REAL deer antlers sticking out from the top of their heads. Everyone was normal, except for her. She never knew why she was born like this... she couldn't know, having no recollection of her parents. As a child, she thought she was normal, then was sent to be examined when tiny horns began sprouting on her head. Trying to get rid of them only resulted in bleeding. She even went undergo surgery from some medical ninjas, but the antlers just grew back. Finally, her antlers were left alone. People accepted the fact that she had antlers... but that didn't stop people who didn't know her well or at all from staring at her. She couldn't blame them, she would stare too if someone had the appendages of an animal. It just wasn't heard of.

Shika had finally made it to the cafe and ran inside and up to Minako, panting and trying to catch her breath.

"I'm... huff... here... you didn't have to... gah... wait too long did you?" Running should have been a walk in the park for a ninja like her, but she could only guess that she felt this way from all the ramen she ate before she got here.[/fieldbox][/fieldbox]

She had raised the mug of coffee to her lips to take another sip of the now-cold liquid when suddenly, a brow-haired girl with deer antlers burst into the cafe, huffing and puffing like she had just ran a marathon.
"Shika!" Minako got up and looked happy for a second, and then immediately her brows furrowed and her eyes twitched. "YOU'RE LATE!" Minako raised her hand to karate-chop her friend. "YOU ALWAYS DID THIS WHEN WE WERE STILL TRAINING AND WE ALWAYS HAD TO WAIT FOR YOU, ARGH!" She stopped her usual speech when she realized the most of the customers in the café were now looking at the two of them with confused and shocked expressions on their faces.

[fieldbox=", White, dashed, 10"][fieldbox="Shika, Plum, dashed, 10"] The girl flailed, raising her arms up to protect herself from Minako's rage. "Ahhh I'm sorry! I'm sorry I'm sorry!" Once Minako calmed down, Shika breathed a sigh of relief. She sat down at the table Minako was sitting at, ordered a latte, and began conversing.

"So, what have you been up to lately? Gone on any... Dates?" Shika giggled.[/fieldbox][/fieldbox]

Minako frowned and rolled her eyes. "I haven't met anyone that isn't a Baka yet." She huffed, then looked back at Shika. "You?" Minako smiled slyly and giggled- she would never admit it, but she loved perving on people's lives.

Then, at the thought of their mission, Minako clenched her teeth and balled her fists on the table. A vein could be seen pulsing on her temple. "They're sending us to do a stupid C-rank mission! The nerve! How dare they send Chunins to do a Genin's job!"

[fieldbox=", White, dashed, 10"][fieldbox="Shika, Plum, dashed, 10"]Shika shook her head, making her ponytail bounce a bit. "I haven't met anyone I really like yet. Maybe some day... on a mission perhaps?"

Shika's jaw then dropped and she slumped forward in her seat at the news from Minako. A C-Rank mission? Seriously? Who did they think they are!

"That's no fair! I want some hardcore action damn it!" The girl crossed her arms and puffed out her cheeks. "What's the mission about? It better not be to run an errand for some old lady or something." The thought made her shudder. The last thing she wanted to do was go around the village looking for something like a basket of goodies for some elderly woman. It's not that she didn't like the elderly, she just didn't want them to be a part of her mission. She already helps around elderly people enough in her free time... having it be a part of a mission was just too embarrassing.[/fieldbox][/fieldbox]

"Mmm, nope." Minako sighed. "We have to investigate a bunch of killings in the outskirts of the city."
The nerve... Minako bit her lip.
"I hope it's not like last time- just some dumb asshole with an axe. Barely a fight."

Minako's partner for the mission was her old teammate (as usual)- and Minako assumed this was always because she got along almost well with the other girl. She always seemed to fight better with Shika at her side.

[fieldbox=", White, dashed, 10"][fieldbox="Shika, Plum, dashed, 10"]The girl dramatically got up from her seat, slamming her palms down on the table.

"Then what are we waiting for! Let's go! If you want to get this over and done with then we better start now, right?" Shika then turned on her heals and began marching like a soldier out of the coffee shop, gaining her a couple of weird looks for her silly attitude.

She hoped this time things would be more exciting. Maybe it would be! Hmmm maybe some really strong ninja is trying to get into the village and attack it! Oh no! That would be horrible, but a lot more exciting than facing some weirdo with an axe. She secretly hoped for things to be a lot worse, although she doubted it.

Dragging Minako along, she went towards the area where most of the killings had occured.

"So what's the plan? Do we lure the assailant into some sort of trap? Or do we lie in wait for them to strike again?"[/fieldbox][/fieldbox]

Minako grumbled serving that sounded like, "Baka," as she was dragged along by her overly-enthusiastic friend.

Suddenly, she dug her heels into the ground and attempted to force her friend to stop. "Ugh! That's a terrible plan! Stop!" She took a deep breath, and continued, "We have to start by asking the families if they saw anything. They say the bodies were slashed up by a weapon with a long, thin blade, but more curved than a sword. The victims all had one thing in common- they were investigating criminal activity outside of Konoha."
Minori gulped. Maybe they were right to send Chunin on this mission. What if Shika and her become the assailant's next targets?

"We need to take this slow and stay low-profile." But knowing Shika, that was going to be a bit hard.

(( Btw, updating Minori's appearance a bit. Check it out! ))

[fieldbox=", White, dashed, 10"][fieldbox="Shika, Plum, dashed, 10"]Shika nodded. "A low profile? You got it, boss! Hey... wait... if that's what we need to do then we can't directly ask the families about what they saw. What if the people doing this catch on and take us out before we even get to really start this mission? Maybe we should wear something that covers our faces up... or maybe we could change our forms all together with a jutsu."

The girl put a hand to her chin, thinking. She really wanted to fight these guys but she didn't want them to assassinate her before she could even realize what's going on. And... the victims were all researching criminal activity outside of Konoha? She could only wonder what kind of criminal activity.

"Maybe we should ask what they specifically investigated. That way we might find out who is behind this... Or at least who is connected to these killings. It's just a hunch, but I think most likely whoever these people were investigating sent ninjas out to eliminate them... either they sent ninjas from their own village or from a village who is associated with them. Hm... do you think the Akatsuki is behind any of this?"

That would be cool... getting to fight the Akatsuki or maybe someone even worse than them. I can finally show off my epic moves, Shika thought to herself.[/fieldbox][/fieldbox]
