OUR GAME WILL BE TYRANNY

Our story begins in the city of Shardizar where blacksmiths pound furiously at their swords and shields while warriors are bred and born. If you want armor, they've got the best. If you want a bloodthirsty warrior, they've got the worst and most gruesome. If you want the finest fish, they've got it. Shardizar may not be known for its trading or its magic but like every major city, it is indeed known for something. Despite how amazing the naive outsiders may think it is, Shardizar has its own dark and sinister background. Something that lurks in the dark, hidden from foreign view- but of course they've got a great bakery in the town square!

The city is filled with every known creature to the continent of Terris. Fae, witches, wizards, sorcerers, orcs, trolls, undead, beings of the tainted half-blood, humans, Tiefling, and there is a rumor of elves, in their horrible nature, within the walls of the ocean side city. No one knows where they are or if they're even there... It's almost impossible to tell them apart from Fae... Almost. While fae can do magic, elves cannot... That aside! If any elves are caught they will be-will be- enslaved and brought to the Palace of Florin.

Shardizar welcomes everyone, except elves, of course, so don't be afraid to come on in!

Súlon Nemirben
Súlon did what he always did: woke up early, baked, then ran the shop alongside his fae master. His somewhat long silver hair was pulled back into a small ponytail at the base of his neck while blue eyes obidiently scanned the shop for possible thieves or even customers. The pointed ears the flanked his head siginified he was very much fae, and a abnormally pretty one he was. His skin was fair and looked like the softest silk there was while his eyes could have been the light blue sky themself. Even a silver ring slept on his thumb, oddly enough.

"Can I help you?" His voice was even more alluring than his looks were which made him a very possible deadly person. Perhaps an assassin, perhaps not. The customer paused for a second while staring at him then proceeded to nod frantically.

"Oh-! Yes, could I get two loaves of rosemerry bread?" Her long brown hair was pinned back into a bun revealing her rather rounded ears. She had a scar running down the left cheek, her chin, and ended at the top of her throat. There wasn't any way on earth that this human female wasn't a warrior or at least a retired one. Súlon noted that she looked rather small but also ather fiesty and decided to possibly stay out of her way in the future.

"Absolutely!" His delicate hands, which were scar free, grasped to large loaves while grabbing them in the cloth she provided then placing them in the basket. Before he could even ask she handed him several gold coins and thanked him while turning to leave. "Come back soon!" The day went on as per usual until it came time for Súlon and his beloved master to close up shop.

"Súlon, close the front doors will you?" A nod came from him while leaving the shop momentarily to grab the signs. It was dark and peacful but also sinister in its own way.

Talia

Licking her lips Talia stared at the honeybun that now found its way out of the towns Bakery. Looking down at her own coin purse it was obvious that the woman had absolutely no money. Feeling her stomach grumble she ran a hand up and along her hair. The sawed down juts that were once her horns stopped her hand making her pull her hand back. Adjusting her robe slightly she pulled the hood of it up before quickly making her way out of a nearby alleyway.

Walking up to the human female that had just left the bakery, Talia scooted closer to her. Noticably uncomfortable the woman took a step away from Talia. "Oh sorry... uhm I couldnt help but notice.. the uhm. Could I have a coin?" Talia finally asked. Watching the woman stare for a moment Talia took the oppertunity to take what she wanted. Tail unfurling slowly it began to snake its way out from under her robe. Long and very dextrous it slid along the ground before rising up behind where the human was looking. Flicking her bag open with the tip of her tail Talia speared the honeybun before quickly withdrawing her tail.

Gaining both a coin and a honeybun Talia quickly made her way back towards the alley. Tail slinking out again she took the honeybun off the tip before showing down on it. Feeling warm food for the first time in quite awhile Talia slid down the outside wall of the bakery as she relaxed. Now no longer on the edge of starvation she took a moment to look at the coin she was given. Raising it up and tried to bite down on it but it didn't budge at all. "An actual coin." Talia mumbled to herself.

Súlon slowly took the signs inside while folding them up as he usually did. He'd worked there for years at this point or ever since his master found him in a forest, abandoned. He rather not think about it so he shook his head. Everything was quiet in the darkness which calmed his nerves a bit or it would have if one of the flyers on the signs hadn't gone blowing down the stone road. Almost immediately the short boy chased after it while wind let loose his hair.

He turned corners and in alleyways until he ran smack into a girl with oddly colored skin and brunette hair. Súlon's lips bobbed open and closed for a bit as a coin tinked on the ground and rolled away, into a drain.

"I-I'm so sorry! It was unintentional!" His blue eyes frantically took in her features but also looked down to not disrespect her. Meeting new people wasn't his strong suit at all and it definitely showed at that moment.

Talia

Feeling something rather large hit her while sitting on the ground the girl let out a yelp. Looking around in the darkness her eyes locked onto the individual responsible. However, her attention was soon redirected as her ears caught the noise of a coin bouncing off the ground. Diving towards the drain she tried to grab it before it slipping into the darkness below. Stareing down into the drain for several seconds she thought through different ways she could get it. However, with another person nearby she decided against using her tail to fish the coin out. Ontop of that... she didn't want to risk getting it dirty.

With the coin now well and gone in her head she turned towards the culprit responsible for losing the coin she begged for. Eyes ever so fluresecent in the darkness she took in the persons features. "You are getting that coin back." Talia started before looking down at the drain again. Letting out a whine she turned her head back towards him once more. She seemed contemplative as to what she was going to do. The gears visibly turned as the woman finally came to a quick conclusion. "You are buying me food now." Talia commanded. She was going to take full advantage of this situation.

Súlon Nemirben
Súlon bit his lip a bit while averting his light blue eyes in awkwardness. Almost immediately he scuffled back a bit to remove any contact with her and apologized once more. He seemed rather timid for someone in Shardizar, usually, the timid ones were the most deadly. The ones that'd murder you in your sleep or put a bounty on your head for something you weren't even present for.

"Sorry!" Súlon paused at both of her requests while meekly asking, "Which one? Money or food?" It may have come off as arrogant or cocky but he meant it in neither ways, simply that she would have to pick as he could not give both. He could give her money to pay for food or food. Otherwise, he'd give her both with his usual kind heart but the thing was he closed up shop already and his master would be expecting him soon. His fae ears even picked up the faint call of his name.

Talia

Talia stared unblinking for a few moments. She mulled over which option she would rather. Feeling her stomach rumble again she rushed to a conclusion "Uhm... Money!" She said siding with the shiny object rather than the food she knew she reallllly wanted at the moment. Hearing a name being called in the distance, Talia felt her tail twitch in response. Refocusing herself on him, she decided that it was probably best to get the money and split. Holding out a hand she collected the gold pieces before nodding to him and quickly making her exit from the alley.

Once out of view she looked at the small bag she was given. However, she stopped the moment she heard a crack. Looking back into the darkness she saw clear as day someone looming over her. Eyes moving up the mans body she locked onto his face "Give it here." The man said. Talia played stupid "Give what?". The man moved to strike her. Talia didn't close her eyes but stared, her large eyes piercing him soul. "No. I don't think so." Talia said ducking under the slap. Taking a step to the side the woman almost got out of the way of their other hand. Feeling a hand grab her on the shoulder she let out an audible hiss.

Talia's tail unfurled and instantly moved to wrap around the mans arm. Unable to resist the strength of Talia's tail the man had his hand torn from his grip. Turning to face the man rather than try to run away, Talia seemed to stop entirely. While the image of Talia remained, she had infact blinked behind him. The tell tale sign of magic flared around her as she let out another hiss. The infernal in her began to well up to the surface. Forcing the fire down Talia turned all her anger onto the now soon to be deceased thug.

Moving her tail the tip of it suddenly thursted forward, impaling the man through the chest. Moving her hands the once beautiful fingers began to elongate into talons. Unable to bury the flare any longer Talia's infernal heritage burst onto the surface. Teeth elongating she lurched forward driving the claws into the mans side before she latched onto his neck. Kicking off of him she tore everything she had gripped with her. The noise overshadowed by the dull thud of wagons passing nearby.

Letting out several laboured breaths Talia licked one of the talons before she realized what was happening. Eyes going wide she slowly returned to her 'normal' appearence. Quickly gathering up her coins she patted over the mans now bloodless corpse. Finding six gold coins she pocketed them before quickly finding an exit from the scene.

Súlon and His Master
Súlon scampered back into the shop rather quickly as his master's blonde hair came into view. Those green eyes pierced his soft blue ones as he finally closed the door.

"What took you so long? I thought I told you to close up 6 minutes ago?" Hands on hips was never a good sign when it came to scolding. Súlon usually did as told, when told but things never really did work out for everyone perfectly did they.

"Sorry, Master! This girl- I ran into this girl!" His voice finally sputtered out as the smell of blood filled the air, it was an ominous scent and sent shivers up the young fae's neck. Tak, his master, sniffed before leaving through the front of the shop momentarily, not before ordering Súlon to stay put and he meant it. Tak was a rather buff guy with the beauty of a fae as well. Tanned skin like drizzled caramel and those green eyes were the candied apple to that caramel. A jeweled sword found its way into his calloused hand as his swiftly and quietly turned the corner to meet a bleeding out corpse. Teeth marks, claw marks, everything that no one would want to witness appeared on the body.

"Fresh..." It was obvious this fae was a hunter, a good one too. Suddenly, a path of gold foot steps appeared leading in the direction that Talia most likely ran off in.
