What would you prefer a RP to be, A original RP in which there are new and unthought of characters and plot or would you prefer a RP with characters and a plot that has already been created, either it be from a show on tv or a book?
 
I don't mind a plot that's already been created, but pre-created characters are a major turnoff. The same rule applies to fan-based RPs: I don't like playing canon characters.
