Okay! ^_^ How about after their romantic encounter, hahaha, a child is conceived? Although Vash has done much to protect the plants and people on Gunsmoke, a rebellion is growing. A group of humans that want to purge the plants from existence? I'd figure this would take place a few years in the future, where Gunsmoke has been terraformed and now can sustain life on its own. The plants are no longer necessary. However, the plants are still the most advanced technology on Gunsmoke. While Vash wants to keep peace, my character sees the humans as pests that should be controlled. She shares the same beliefs as Knives, but she has her reasons as for why. Just an idea.
