Oriental Adventures

Yeah, after hearing "gun fire" one would take a look.

Oh, and, on a "totally unrelated note" does this said town have any source of small explosives like fireworks?

Okay Frost, hopefully I have enough done to adequately be able to join in the RP. Just tell me if I need to change/edit anything!

Huzzah!

You should totally find a simple and easy way to update that little nifty mapboard you made so we can see the rounds. >.>

Well, I HAVE a mapmaking thingy, but it doesn't work on my lappy.

So I'm probably going to update the map every round of combat, so everyone can better visualize what's going on.

Since I've made a 'base map', all I have to do is 'fix' portions of it. It's really simple work, just takes a few short minutes in Paint. Think it's easier than trying to explain where everyone is in combat, anyway.

Heh...
*Can imagine this turning out like non visual chess..but with more then ten people.*

Yeah.. though really, isn't that all that D&D combat really is?

"Extreme Chess"? XD

Hey, if it helps everyone know where they are and not have a lot of trouble figuring out what they want to do, I wouldn't even have minded re-making the map from scratch every round.

:3

Ah, well if that's the case...I don't like the way the tree at K3 looks, and the Tree in H7 is completly unneccesary. Remake EVERYTHING. Just this time, add more blue and less red. :P

You know they're trees, though, and that's all I needed. Anything more than that is unneeded. <3

I didn't state 'to my player's specific standards', after all. As long as everyone knows what's what. Nyeh-nyeh. XP

I will personally eat the babies of those who are not posting their turns. And if said person does not have any babies, I will force them to give birth to a baby so that I may eat it.

*Enters stage left to kick some Bandit arse. Also...eating baby back ribs.*

So, is this acceptable? <3

Backstory:

Only son of a Daidoji noble-family, Keiichiro has never been 'the best' at any one thing, instead always excelling over a wide number of fields. It was often said in his youth that he had the fortune's grace on his side, being remarkably lucky-- this carried over into adult hood.

While Keiichiro was initially trained in the Daidoji Yojimbo School, he was invited very quickly to the Daidoji Harrier School. He learned the darker side of his clan's military and martial arm, but embraced the teachings with the grim determination and understanding that only a Daidoji could understand. While here, he found that he had a remarkable talent for these darker, borderline dishonourable skills-- something he took a small amount of pride in.

A young samurai, Keiichiro is out on his first major assignment as a wandering yojimbo. His task? No one knows.

Appearance:

Keiichiro prefers to wear light, almost non-existant padded armour that's hidden beneath his kimono. While it does not afford him the protection that other armour does, it allows him freedom of movement, which is keen to his skill set.

Of course, he does own an actual set of armour, though he'd have to return home and ask his family to don it for battle...

Looks good, though I thought we were level 1. Unless Frost says otherwise of course.

I think everyone's getting level 2 once this big battel is over. :)

That's what I was thinking too. It is the first battle though so I don't know.

I think we're getting Xp for the Scene, which includes the battle, and explains why we might be getting a level for fighting mooks.

We get 5exp every time someone posts 198 posts = 990exp
