The Andera are a race of Alien beings that were once vaguely human. After millions of years they have modified their species to the extent where they resemble massive walking cars rather than anything marsupial, and require only energy as sustenance.

They are extremely pacifist. On their planet (Ordaterre), there is rarely any conflict that isn't resolved peacefully. This is because violence is simply not in their nature. Their threatening appearance is only considered necessary for the types of jobs they preform. Construction Andera, for example, have a helmet-like protrusion extending past their 'face plates.' Others have different structures to help preform other jobs.

    Something like this:
    tumblr_m9hf7loKtk1qbb2p5o1_500.png

They encounter Earth, and find it to be an environment that would suit their species.

They enhance Earth monkeys genetically, and so the monkeys naturally grew into the once-existing olden Andera- Humans. They do this to 'naturally' colonize Earth.
Many years pass. The Andera become busy with other affairs and neglect mankind.
When they finally return to survey the progress humanity has made, The Andera discover violence, lust... sin. They are appalled.

They decide that humanity qualifies as a separate species. They reject the idea of communicating directly with humans. However, a new plan is formed. Introducing themselves to the humans would be unwise (they might react badly, and it would challenge their ideology), however... perhaps human 'ambassadors' for their species could be instated to slowly introduce the Andera to Earth. The two humans are also meant as test subjects to see if humans can be successfully indoctrinated.

The Andera produce two human fetuses by taking 'necessary components' from humans. A male, and a female. Adam and Eve (who have since renamed themselves).

The two are raised in a way to create independent beings- their surroundings are modified to suit humans. This ensures that that can function in human society... They live in comfort- and then everything goes wrong.

    HUMAN SAFETY LAWS:

    1. The humans must be protected from harm at all cost. They are irreplaceable. Not doing everything in your power to save a human (even sacrificing your life) is considered a federal offence. See below.

    2. No human may partake in manual labor-related jobs without the guidance/protection/supervision of other Andera. Their bodies are not protected and specialized, and their limbs cannot be replaced as easily if an accident occurs.

    3. If an Andera were to harm a human directly/indirectly, they must be executed by negligence of power-supply, and their family must pay a fine of 300,000 Ours. Depending on the level of harm and surrounding circumstances, this punishment may be modified.

    4. Humans must report to their Counselor on the 1st of every Andera month (30 days). If they fail to do this, take an example from Koshi.
They will be arrested, restrained, perhaps sedated, and forcibly taken to their Counselor (at this time, Shia).

    5. If a human fails to provide themselves with things necessary for life (nutrition, water, sleep), they will be forcibly provided with these things. Afterwards, they are to see their Counselor every day for the next three weeks.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi stared at the runic script, squinting his eyes to make out the Council-Scribe's fancy squares.

He was to move in with May in a larger apartment in the Pomona district of Ourdos in three days- the reason for the transfer (stated below the memo in tiny runes) left Koshi's mind as soon as he read it. He grit his teeth together, struggling to contain the surge of frustration sparking in his chest. They had just moved to the outer-city a few months ago, and now they were moving again?

Thinking about it as he searched for his keys, Koshi had noticed that during last month's meeting that Shia seemed to act differently towards him- fluttering around on her strange, pointed peds and twittering in his ear constantly. The elegantly-shaped psychiatrist-creature was not her usual quiet, patient self. She seemed to do the same to May.

Koshi unlocked the door and entered his simple, quaint little home.
It felt somewhat empty at times, but he preferred to own as little fancy furniture as possible, in order to avoid the buildup of dust that inevitably plagues crowded homes. His irritable eyes and nose certainly appreciated it.

He kicked of his shoes then leaned down to fix them as straight as possible, and dropped his bag of groceries in the kitchen.

Stores in Enden (where they currently live) largely supplied the Andera with knickknacks and energy packs. However, they are restocked with human food regularly (in small shelves and tiny corners) to support both May's and his life, and independence. The Andera have attempted to somewhat create an environment around the two humans that resembles human city-life, and other than that- the two are left to their own devices (under heavy surveillance, of course). It was simply for the better. Inevitably, the two will be returned to Earth. The Council promises this- and states that humans are unaware of their existence but all will be made clear in the end- as Shia puts it.

Koshi considered all of this as he cooked, taking time to prepare a larger meal than usual.

This was something he enjoyed doing, so he found himself humming a happy tune, even singing out loud at times as he worked. Being under surveillance was not something that bothered him- being taught from a young age that this was simply something that was part of everyone's lives. It was nothing unusual at all.

When the pans could be left alone to simmer, Koshi took out his phone to check if May had replied to his dinner invitation yet.

"Hey, I'm cooking something fancy. Wanna come over? I also wanna talk about the whole moving thing."

And then... Nothing under it. She hadn't replied yet.[/fieldbox]

May read and reread the script while her eyes widened in surprise, before a look of confusion crossed her features. Why would they want them to move again? Especially since they just moved to their current residence a few months prior-not that she was complaining about it. The very fact that she would be moving in with Koshi was exciting since she would no longer be in an apartment all by herself. She would have him to talk to and share her ideas on her art and anything else that came to mind. Surely that would be fun.

Crossing her living room, May walked into her workroom and the smell of paint immediately hit her nose. A small sad smile settled onto her lips as she starred at the freshly painted wall. The painting was her idea of what summer was in Earth, since she had heard and read a couple of texts about it. The warm season sounded lovely to her. The warmth of the air, the shining sun, the cold treat of ice cream.

It had taken her quite a while to even get her idea onto the wall. She had spent practically a week drawing it all out with a marker, before she finally settled on placing paint on the brush and finishing her painting. Now that she would be moving, she would be leaving this painting behind since she couldn't exactly drill out a wall and take it with her. At least she had accomplished the goal she had set out for herself the minute she set foot into the empty apartment and this small room: to paint something on the wall. May breathed out a small sigh and went to sit at her desk where she pulled out her sketchbook and a pencil, though she found that her ind couldn't focus on what she wanted to draw. All that was on her mind was the fact that she was moving. The excitement was still coursing through her being and she found herself slipping away from her workroom a bounce to her steps, though she stopped when she saw her phone on the coffee table flash. A text.

Immediately she snatched her phone up and unlocked it and a grin settled onto her lips.

"Hi! Of course. I'll be over in a few minutes. What do you want to talk about it?"

Pressing send, the brunette immediately rushed to her bedroom and put on some ankle boots and a beige cardigan sweater over her white v-neck shirt and skinny jeans. Once she was fully dressed, she went into her kitchen and pulled out the cake she had purchased earlier in the day when she went to go buy groceries and some art stuff. Hopefully he liked vanilla caked. May placed it in a plastic bag along with some cookies, before grabbing her phone and heading out.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]He had been so focused on crouching to fold and pack his things, that when his phone buzzed on the nightstand next to his ear it scared him half-to-death.

May had replied, and he smiled to himself as he typed back. "I don't know. Isn't it a bit weird? ... I was also wondering if maybe we can make a list of thing we want... for example, like, a kitchen with a fish-grill." Koshi really liked seafood.

He set his phone back down and quickly went around his house to make sure it was clean for May.

Just like always, nothing seemed out of place. He went over to the living room and dusted a few shelves to make sure he wouldn't start sneezing while she was over (that would be embarrassing), then rushed back into the kitchen to check on the fancy rib-eye steak he had been preparing. It seemed just about done.

Enden had just recently received a shipment of red wine from the Farm- an area even further from Ourdos than Enden was. He heard from Shia that that was where the Andera produce all human food. Wine was never available until just yesterday, and it had been difficult to find a way to mature it properly.

He poured the fat off the skillet, then sautéd garlic in a tablespoon of oil over the burner. Then, he picked up the bottle of wine, and looked it over, curious. He had heard that wine was made with grapes. In his Health lessons, he had also learned about its effects on humans.

... He poured some into the oil, leaving enough for later. He had to swallow. His throat felt funny when he thought about what he would do, but he knew he wouldn't get in trouble. He just wanted to see what it was like.

Quickly, Koshi reduced the fire and added soy sauce and water and let it boil. After three minutes, he reduced the heat again and whisked in butter, then added in parsley on a second thought. He was sure parsley would make the sauce better.

Now that everything was ready, he cleaned up the kitchen and put all the remaining ingredients away. He worked like a machine, fixated on keeping things in order. He was somewhat the opposite of May, who was much more relaxed about these things.

He looked down at himself, blushing at the silly, flowered apron. It was that only thing that could keep the sauce off of his dress shirt and nice pants, but it really made him feel dumb.
Levy had bought it for him as a gift last year. It was more of a joke- Levy had thought that since women on Earth tended to do most of the cooking, it would be funny to give Koshi a feminine apron.

Koshi intended to throw it away, but... it proved to be just a little too useful for that.[/fieldbox]

May walked down the side walk, her mind occupied with the upcoming events of their move. She wasn't sure what day they would be moving into their new apartment, but she knew that she would need to have everything packed and ready, so when they did decide to move them, they wouldn't need to wait. Hopefully there was a room where she could place her art supplies and such, initially becoming her workroom.

The sudden vibration in her jean pocket caused May to pause for a second as she fumbled with the plastic bag before she reached to get her phone. A small smile crossed her lips as she saw that Koshi responded to her text. Continuing her walk forward, she opened the text up and swiftly typed out a reply.

"It is quite sudden, I'll give you that...but I'm excited for it honestly. How do you feel about it? Ooo yes! A list will be good."

See pressed send and turned the screen off, before rounding the corner and she immediately spotted the station. Thank goodness the station was close and Koshi didn't live far away. Boarding the platform she paid for her ticket, then she glanced around at the Andera people with a small closed-lip smile. They were all friendly and she didn't feel out of place than when she was younger. Perhaps she had become accustomed to it all. Suddenly a faint buzzing noise was heard, before the train pulled up and the doors opened a moment later. She took quick steps as she stepped inside the train and taking a seat besides a window. The seat was a bit too big for her small frame, but the Andera people were bigger in size so she frankly didn't mind. It wasn't long before they were speeding through and the scenery was passing quickly. After two stops, May stood up and made her way to the door and stepped out onto the platform.

"I'm five minutes away."

May typed on her phone before hitting send and quickly making her way to Koshi's apartment.

True to her words, she was knocking on Koshi's door five minutes later and a warm smile was on her lips. Clearly the girl was happy to be seeing her friend again.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi had finished preparing the table.
He had laid out a plain white tablecloth to cover the small, beach-wood table. On top of it were to bamboo mats, two shiny white plates, and freshly polished silverware on turquoise and sandy-brown napkins. He put a lot of effort into finding things that matched his home- simple, and modern.

He sat on his couch and rubbed the back of his hand against forehead, and contemplated.
Andera homes were vastly different. They didn't have table for keeping food, as they did not need to eat. They were really mostly just these polished white or pale-colored walls, and strange angular decorations. Sometimes, they had neon-glowing signs with their names. Oh, and they had their charging stations. The only charging station Koshi had was for his phone.

Perhaps for the new house, Koshi could ask for a signs for their rooms, so that nobody would accidentally get them confused... But, Koshi doubted that could happen when his and May's living quarters would inevitably end up looking vastly different.

Suddenly, there came a knock.

Koshi scrambled off the couch. He could tell it was May, as Andera tended to knock much harder. He opened the door wide, and smiled.

"Hey, it's great to see you!"

And then he looked down at himself, and turned beet red. In his excitement, Koshi had completely forgotten to remove the ridiculous apron. He left the door open and dashed back inside, tearing off the cloth and throwing it... somewhere, wherever.

Into the spoon drawer it went.

He turned back to the girl. Nope, she had definitely seen the apron.
Koshi looked down at how his hands fumbled in front of his chest as he explained. "Uh, um. It was a gift, and I... couldn't throw it out?"
[/fieldbox]

May

May patiently waited for Koshi to open the door, though she didn't have to wait long before the door was pulled open. A large smile was on her lips upon seeing him.

"Hi! Thanks for inviting me to dinner." May said and she took note of the apron he wore. She couldn't help but to think that he looked cute with it on. Koshi didn't give her an opportunity to comment on it, though, because he rushed back inside and disappeared out of her sight. For a moment, she blinked, dumbfounded, before slowly stepping inside and shutting the door behind her. Her eyes caught on to where he had stored the apron and a small giggle left her lips.

"I think it looks good on you." She teased before glancing down at her plastic bag.

"Oh! I brought us some desert and treats."

She gave him a friendly little smile and held out the plastic bag. "I hope you like vanilla cake?" She said in more of a question, since she wanted to know. "If not, then we could just eat the cookies, it's no big deal." She shrugged slightly.

She had known Koshi for a few years now, she remembers when they first met which was when they were really young. Pre-teens maybe? It was safe to say that she was rather found of the male, given that he was the only other human here. Plus he was a great person. Hopefully their persoanlities didn't clash when they moved in together. Clearly she was aware of the young male's tendency to have everything clean.

"Mmm, it smells good. What did you make?" May questioned.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Her compliment only made Koshi blush harder, and to distract himself from it, he quickly started polishing a counter-top with a sponge, scrubbing off pretend dirt.

He stopped when she held out the bag to him. "Vanilla? That's my favorite flavor! H-how did you know?" Koshi took the bag from her, eyes sparkling with gratitude. "I'm glad you have desert covered... to be honest, I completely forgot to make any, haha." He wasn't really a desert person, but vanilla was his one weakness.

He walked to the table, and grasped a seat by its backboard to slide it out for her. "Please, sit. I made something unusual this time..." Then, Koshi walked back into the connected kitchen to put the desserts on the counter (still damp from him scrubbing it with a sponge).

"Did you know that wine is available now? I just bought some... and, I got sorta scared to actually drink it. So instead, I made steak with wine sauce for us." He returned and took May's plate to kitchen, where with a large fork, he carefully placed a steak on it and poured sauce over it. He did the same for his own plate.

"I hope you like it... It's the first time that I used wine in a recipe." He said, scratching the back of his neck meekly.[/fieldbox]

May immediately felt relieved when he said vanilla was his favorite flavor. "Lucky guess." She answered with a small chuckle. "Hah, well I honestly didn't want you to be the only one making the food for the night."

She said her thanks before taking a seat in the chair he pulled out and her emerald colored orbs focused on the table before her. It all looked so...elegant and fancy. A great contrast to her table, which consisted of vibrant mismatching colors. She liked how he set up his table though, the colors were nice and everything went with each other. It was like a controlled type of thing, whereas he table screamed wild with the colors.

"Ehh? Wine?!" May questioned in surprise as she turned her focus to Koshi with wide eyes. She had read of wine before in the books she buys, though in some it showed that wine was a luxury for the rich who could afford it. "Where did you buy it from?" She considered maybe buying a bottle for herself, though she would be moving soon. Maybe after they moved in together, she could purchase a bottle. "Say...isn't wine also for drinking?"

When he brought back her plate, resting on it was steak with some sauce over it. It was a mouthwatering sight and she wanted nothing more than to dig in, but she held back. She recently read this other book about manners and it had said to wait before everyone was seated and had their food, then she could commence eating.

"I'm sure it'll be delicious. Come and have a seat so we could enjoy it together." She said with a grin.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]He chuckled at her surprise. "It was in the grocery store, but even further back than all the other human food already is. I found out about it from Red, actually. He's not really a good influence, is he?" Then he added, "I kinda spent most of my allowance on it... I guess I'll be eating instant noodles for the rest of the week. Good thing I stocked up." Koshi found that instant noodles surprisingly good, especially the crab flavored ones.

He sat down and said, "Bon appetite," before lifting his knife and fork elegantly and tucking into the food.

"Yeah... I guess it's also for drinking. But, remember Health class?" He looked thoughtful for a moment. All those scare side-effects... But Koshi figured they had to be exaggerated. "Then again, in Social class... humans have all those parties... They have to enjoy it to keep drinking it, right?"[/fieldbox]

May

"You spent your allowance money over it?" May regarded the male with a shocked expression. She never thought it would be that expensive. "Wow...thank you for this." May gave him an appreciative smile, before mirroring his actions by taking the knife and fork in her hands and cutting up a piece.

At the reminder of health class, May paused and shuddered before nodding. "Yeah, but I doubt it's that bad since they decided to put it on stock." That, or they secretly just wanted to see their reaction towards the beverage. "Let's just enjoy it for now and we'll see what happens." May answered, before taking a bite of the steak. The moment the meat met her tongue, she tasted the wine and her mouth was sent into a frenzy. It was strong yet went perfectly well with the steak. Her eyes closed before she hmmed in content.

"This is delicious, Koshi." She finally said before moving to quickly cut another piece. "You outdid yourself with this." She complimented then took in another bite of it.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi smiled and blushed at May's complement.

"Thanks, I'm glad you like it." A warm feeling lit up in his stomach. This was why he loved to cook- seeing someone appreciate his food really made him happy.

He had his fork halfway up to his mouth, when he remembered something. "Oh, about the move..."

Koshi frowned at his plate. "Wasn't the last meeting weird? Shia seemed to be a little overly concerned about us... I guess it's my fault."

He sighed, and took another morsel of steak into his mouth, then chewed and swallowed. It was a long time before he spoke again.

"I kinda pushed it, yesterday... I wanted to see what would happen if..." He paused.

"Actually, its not important." He sounded almost... Sad. His hand unconciously went to his neck, ringing around to where his collar was tightly buttoned- all the to the very top.
[/fieldbox]

May

Now that he mentioned the meeting with Shia was quite strange. Shia was flustering over them far more than she normally did. It was quite weird and she was very confused. Maybe that was linked to why they were moving. Though what threw her off was the fact that Koshi said it was his fault. May's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Your fault? How?"

May didn't place a single piece of meat her mouth as she observed him, clearly trying to see where he was getting at. Something was off about him, with the way he was acting and his vague words.

"What...What did you do Koshi?" May tilted her head, not straying her gaze away from him. "You can trust me." She added sincerely. Koshi's hand moving to his collar caused for her eyes to narrow and she contemplated on whether to question out her concern.

"Koshi..."

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi's gaze could have burned a hole through the table.

"Really, its nothing." He had finished most of his meal, so Koshi abruptly stood up and took his plate to the kitchen.

He dumped the rest of the meat into a container for later, stuck it into the fridge, and... After standing there for a long moment, he removed the bottle of wine.

"I think we could drink this. It could be like... A mini goodbye-Enden party."

Koshi smiled, poped the cork out of the narrow neck of the bottle, and poured the wine into two large glasses. He didn't have any special wine glasses, so he used plane cups instead. Wine was fascinating - having seen an Earth video about the process of 'wine-making,' or whatever it was called, he felt admiration towards the simple, red liquid.

"I hope you dont mind these..." He brought the cups over to the table.

Koshi was about to put his cup down, when he decisively brought it to his lips and drank deeply from it.
The taste hit him hard, and he nearly choked. It was weird, bitter... But not unpleasant enough for him to want to stop. Never tasting alcohol before in his life, that single cup made him feel strange almost immediately, although Koshi didn't show it.
He opened his mouth to say something, then shut it awkwardly.

Koshi knew he shouldn't dance around the subject anymore than he was already doing. Shia would probably tell May what happened in the next meeting anyway.

"I... I swear I just wanted to know what would happen. How the security would react... I really didn't think it through. I didnt think about... Dying. Not at all." He poured himself another glass, and drank that one just as quickly.

With a sudden grave seriousness, Koshi reached up and popped open the first few buttons of the collar.
There was a dark, purple bruise ringing the thin, pale expanse of his neck.

"I choked myself with a noose. I didn't jump, and I left the chair next to me... I didn't want to die, I just wanted to see how the Andera would react. Shia almost lost her mind when she saw me in the hospital."

He paused, swirling the dark red liquid in his cup.
"You should have seen how crazy it was, haha. The security broke through the windows within five seconds, and cut the noose in one more."

May
The brief silence that had ensured was enough to make her aware of just how serious this was, even if she had a very vague idea of what was going on. May watched as he abruptly rose from his seat and headed over to the kitchen and her gaze lingered on his figure for a few seconds before she turned to the meal in front of her. There wasn't as much of meat left, which was good since she kind of lost her appetite; something that occurred when she was nervous or really worried. Right now she felt both.

Koshi returned with two cups filled with what she could assume to be wine. May took the cup in hand and stated down at the Scarlet liquid. It had a strong smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. Lifting it up to her lips, she took a gulp of it and she immediately felt a burning sensation at the back of her throat. The alcohol in the wine caused for her eyes to water slightly and she coughed a bit. The wine was quite strong yet it held a good taste, so she took another sip right when he began to speak. At the word dying, May choked on the wine and stared up at him. Just what did he do?

Health class had taught them a lot and dying was not something to be taken lightly. Her eyes followed his hands as he unbuttoned his shirt. The bruises were evident and contrasted against his pale skin. May shoot up from her seat and looked at his neck.

"Koshi..." She murmured and she slowly and cautiously reached out to touch his neck. Her touch was gentle and she ran a finger along his neck before pausing at one of the dark bruises. Pulling away, May met his gaze and her lips trembled slightly.

"You could have gotten hurt, Koshi. I...Please don't ever try something like that ever again. "

Maybe this event was why they were moving them in together. She was happy that they were because May didn't want to lose Koshi. He was her good friend and the only other human here. Without him she would be alone and she would miss him dearly. Extending her arms out, she wrapped them around him in a hug.

"I don't want to lose you..."

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi watched her reach out, and lifted his head a bit to give her more room to touch the bruise around his neck. Her fingers surprised him with their gentleness... But after all, her's were the precise hands of an artist.

The fingers followed the ring almost all the way around, and when they suddenly pushed down, he bit his lip to fight back a sound. All this time,
his eyes were focused on some distant point in the room the whole time, somewhere left. Something was caught in his throat, and it burned all the way to his eyes, and made them grow wet.

Then, she hugged him.

This was why Koshi needed May. He wrapped his arms around her and held on tightly, like a little kid holding onto his mom. "I thought... Maybe they'd let us go sooner if I tried it... I thought we'd go to Earth. I mean, it's not bad here... But, I know how much you want to see real nature, and real spring. And so do I..." He pressed his face into her shoulder and mumbled, while fighting back tears - he was terribly scared of himself.

"It was stupid... I'm so stupid... I'm sorry."

May

May closed her eyes for a brief moment, before starring ahead as Koshi wrapped his arms around her and held on tight. HSe listened to him talk before she shook his head. "You don't need to risk your life for something like that, Koshi. Once we're ready we'll be sent to Earth." May murmured, though it was loud enough for him to hear.

"I'll admit that it wasn't a good choice, but that doesn't make you stupid." May stated sincerely as she slowly began to run her fingers through his hair in a soothing manner.

"It'll be alight. Just...Just promise me you won't try something like that ever again."

Her voice was soft and held a lot of concern. May didn't want Koshi to hurt himself this type of way. His life was more important than getting to Earth.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi took deep breaths as his listened to her.

She ran her fingers through his hair, and it felt good. He realized that if his idea had worked any better than it had, he would have lost all of this. As cliche as the realization was, Koshi shuddered and his eyes opened wide, staring unseeing, into the cloth of May's shirt.

He finally started to relax, and pulled away a bit, letting the distance grow between them but letting his arms linger around her. "I promise." And then he let go and rubbed the back of his hand against his eyes, still glassy and brimmed in red. Koshi's head was already clearing from the effects of the wine he had consumed, and as a result he grew less bold every passing second. He realized that must look like a mess.

Shyly, he looked away from May.
He caught sight of May's plate as he did. "I... ruined dinner, didn't I? I'm sorry."

He turned a shy gaze to her, but smiled. "At least we have dessert though..." Koshi buttoned up his shirt again, glad that the mark wasn't higher on his neck.

He stood up and went back into the kitchen, arranging the cake and cookies onto a large plate. As he did so, he spoke. "So like I said earlier, we should make a list of things we want in the new apartment... I was thinking that a fish grill would be great... and a bigger fridge."
Koshi himself didn't eat much, but he really enjoyed cooking various foods for others, aka- May.
Even living alone, he ended up cooking something different almost everyday, even if the portions he cooked were so small that it almost made it silly how often he went to the store for ingredients. A larger refrigerator to contain all of the things he bought for so many different kinds of food would mean a better organized kitchen... The idea pleased Koshi.

May watched him closely as he pulled away before uttering a few words. "No, you didn't, Koshi. It's alright." May answered. Now that he informed her of what he had did, a lot of things made sense. The way Shia acted, the move. She doubted it was all based off of what Koshi did, since they had known how she felt when she was alone in her apartment. Perhaps the council was trying to keep them happy and from harming each other, so the easiest solution was to move them in together.

"Yeah...we should." May wasn't exactly conformed with changing the topic to something else, since this was a serious matter and she wanted to know how he was feeling, but she would respect the subject change and ask him when the time is right.

"I agree on the bigger fridge. Oh! A spare room where I could put my art stuff is a must." She added, since she didn't want her stuff lying around in a random place around the apartment. Surely Koshi wouldn't approve of the mess. "Maybe a radio or soemthing for entertainment." May mused in thought trying to think of what else they could get.

[fieldbox="Koshi, white, dashed, 10"]Koshi smiled as he took the cake dish over the table.
He returned to the kitchen briefly, only to get two smaller plates, and desert forks.

"A bigger T.V..." He said thoughtfully, glancing over at his own. It was a small thing- elegant and paper-thin, but he had already seen T.V.s of much larger size and with better capabilities in Andera stores.

Koshi cut the cake into neat little slices, and served May her slice first, then cut one for himself and sat down. He reached over and retrieved a notepad and miniature pen from small shelf next to him. Kochi started writing their ideas down, in neat script. "I really wanted a cat... but I guess that's never going to happen..." He jotted down 'cat' anyway, hoping that maybe Shia will reconsider.[/fieldbox]

"A bigger tv would be nice. What about a gaming console?" May suggested as she watched him slice the cake perfectly.

It occurred to May that they were practically the opposite of each other. Koshi was more neat, organized, and controlled while she was messy to a certain extent and more open to accent a lot of things. Despite their differences though, they still got along very well and she was happy about that.

"Thanks." She nodded as she picked up a fork, before waiting for him to take a seat. Once he did, she stabbed the cake and took a piece off before lifting the morsel up to her mouth and chewed on the cake. It was delicious and it wasn't dry.

"A cat? Do they have cats here?" She questioned with a slight tilt of her head. "Can you add a small library to the list?"
