He looked down at his shaking hands and frowned. The tremors were getting worse, and he knew time was against him. Decades of training and study for nothing if his hands could not perform the surgeries he had worked so hard to perfect and streamline. He didn't like the tincture he was being forced to use to steady the tremors. it was strong, and would take a great toll on his physical health in the future, but he saw no options beyond it. Mixing the chemicals together with the smooth, rich scotch he drew in a deep breath and let the amber liquid burn its way down his throat. he watched as the trembling in his hands steadied and he stood from his desk and grabbed the files for the next patient as he left for surgery.
