One For All and All For One.

What about Dragon Blood? Can that be used as steroids, to make Hunters superhuman? :3

I think I have one more question.

It says the shifters and hunters have a class together. are they fighting Or Is there some sort of tension or...?

I was thinking about that. I guess that can make Hunters superman. Along with that, Dragon Saliva can have healing tendencies and can be used for healing potions and such. I feel like there should be a time limit for the superhuman thing.

It's suppose to be a class that will help them learn how to work with each other. And, in the beginning, I'm sure, there will be loads of tension amongst everyone before it begins to die down as they get use to one another.

Hm, I think I know how to go about with my character now...

That being said, you described Dragon Shifters as people who have always been on the defensive, right? As in, the hunters are always the first to attack? But because Dragon Shifters are also humans, there's probably a whole bunch of them who are openly antagonistic to humans as well, right? Just want to have some actual 'concrete' reason for my character to hate Dragon Shifters.

Cool. I'll play the obligatory hate-all-the-dragon-shifters character then, since no one else has one yet.

It's funny because one of my characters is a 'vampire'. Depictions of vampires can do that - bite some guy, grant them vampire blood, they gain cool vampire athletics and such.

I presume each to their own? Like saliva with different effects and different buffs.

Well, maybe time limits can be limited by age. 15 to 18 is no big difference so the time limit could remain identical.

I added the minor snippet of Race lore for my Dragon Shifter character, where century-old members of the race can bite, grant blood, and poof. The victims become dragon shifters of specific race themselves, probably permanently until you try to find a cure, which no one has.

The only cure for vampirism is suicide. Or to embrace your cool dragon self.

I realised that Siegfreid's myth is minorly similiar, where he slays the dragon Fafnir and gains permanent dragon defenses from it.

(Couldn't find an image that really matched, but felt this was a half-decent effort)

Name: Danica Schmidt
Age: 15
Female
Dragon-shifter
Nationality: American
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Loud, boisterous, and brash, Danica knows she's the best at everything, and won't hesitate to remind you of this. Her arrogance has been known to be off-putting, but if she actually cares about you, you have a powerful ally who won't hesitate to put herself in harm's way. She has nothing but utter hatred for dragon hunters and others who despise people simply for what they are.

Dragon Appearance: 20 feet long with a 25 foot wingspan. Wings are thin, membranous, highly vascularized, and generally a weak spot. Iridescent green scales over entire body. Two horns jut straight out from the back of the head. Single row of spikes down the back and the long, whiplike tail, which ends in a stinger.

Powers: As a Lesser Rot Dragon, Danica has several powers beyond the standard-issue teeth, talons and tail. Most notably, she has two different breath attacks. For inorganic targets, she spits out a thick green slime that sticks to the target. This slime is acidic enough to eat through iron, and with repeated doses, steel. For biological opponents, she breathes out a green gas that is actually made of dozens of types of viruses and bacteria. After breathing in the gas, the victim only has several minutes before systemic infection overwhelms the immune system and kills. Her tail stinger has a fast-acting venom that, while not lethal, causes excruciating pain. However, this venom has a short effectivity span and victims are usually back to full strength in a couple of hours. As a final bonus, both her human and dragon forms are immune to all known forms of infectious disease and poison.

A long day of hunting.
Name: Ri-Yu Yun
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Species: Hunter
Nationality: Chinese
Sexuality: No experience with romance or pornography.

Appearance
Ri-Yu is tall for her age and ethnicity, standing at 6'1, with a slender, powerful build. There are no excess fats clinging onto her body, and she carries herself with a disciplined air, weighing at roughly 60 kilograms. Her black hair is long and wispy, which becomes almost vaporous in the light of the morning, and her eyes are azure, almost black. Often, she wears white gloves over her hands, which are rough and callused from training and combat. Many small scars dot her body, but none of them are particularly noticeable.

When in combat, there are glowing red dots in her eyes. Whether this is a side-effect of Dragon Blood injections or not is a secret.

Personality
A disciplined and noble soul is what resides within Ri-Yu. She is a hard-working, stalwart individual with a strict set of morals that she always seeks to meet. Those in trouble will find an ally in her. Those who commit crimes will find an enemy in her. She rarely expresses emotions outside of anger or contentment, and has been compared by many of her family as the finest blade ever forged by the Yun family. She follows rules well, rarely questions her superiors, and is humble, almost to a fault. Perhaps the only problem is her inability to recognize her own social inadequacies, as she makes no distinction formal and casual speech.

Of course, her lack of social skills is unnecessary as a Dragon Hunter, because her complete and utter loathing of Dragon Shifters more than makes up for it.

Weapons
The Yun family, as well as those affiliated with them, have a particular strategy when fighting dragons. Instead of using highly explosive weapons to quickly, but messily, kill dragons, they use large projectiles to disable the wings of the dragons, smashing it into the ground, before chopping the grounded dragon into bits with oversized weapons.

Ri-Yu is a Grounding specialist, talented at landing onto dragons mid-flight. To facilitate this, she has two different types of lances.

The first is the Dragontooth Harpoon, a mechanized harpoon 1.5 meters in length, with a dragontooth barb at the end. Encased in a thick, metal cylinder, there are two explosive charges in each harpoon. The first charge detonates one second after the harpoon is thrown, accelerating the harpoon to supersonic speeds. The second charge detonates after the barb strikes an object, sending it deep into the body of the beast and creating a powerful anchor. Through all this, a thin, nigh-unbreakable wire connects the barb to the outer tube of the harpoon, and, after pressing a button, a system of cogs and gears will begin to rewind the wire, bringing the wielder to the location of the barb. With enough skill and reaction speed, it's possible to Spiderman all around a dragon, as long as one holds enough harpoons.

The second is a weapon of Ri-Yu's own design, the Ascalon Buster, named after the spear wielded by Saint George. A gargantuan weapon standing at two meters, it is often strapped diagonally on Ri-Yu's back, and is shaped like a massive stake, with a handle in which Ri-Yu can wield the Ascalon Buster with. Unlike the Dragontooth Harpoons, which are most definitely ranged weapons, the Ascalon Buster is something that is only used after a successful landing or grounding. The explosive force is similar to that of a tank's, and the spike itself can extend for another meter, deep enough to pierce the hearts or sever the spines of most dragons. A deadly, one-shot weapon that takes enormous amounts of strength and durability to use. There are 16 notches on the side of the Ascalon Buster, one for every Count Dracula-type dragon that Ri-Yu had participated in taking down.

Every week, Ri-Yu injects herself with Dragon Blood, in order to maintain her supernatural strength. She has gotten to the extent in which her muscles would rapidly atrophy if she fails to do this on a weekly basis.
Despite her outer appearance as a young adult well-versed in the ways of the world, her actual experiences are very limited.
Her kill count in regards to Count Dracula-type dragons are in the double digits. Her loathing for that particular race is infinite.

Yeah. There's a funny story behind that Count Dracula hate, but mm...I wanted to create a character that had a lot more experience with killing and butchering dragons. Is having all dat experience too much though, at her age?

tbh i was thinking hunters would be a more Soul Eaterish. Regular humans who know how to use weapons and know how to fight, like how the Huntsmen in american dragon jake long

okay, so if dragon saliva is used as a healing agent, what if too much of it is actually poisonous to the human body?

@ERode Not at all! That amount of experience is completely fine~

@Yuuki_Tatsunohi To be honest, I had American Dragon: Jake Long in my mind the entire time I came up with this. It's my inspiration, to tell the truth. Just a bit of my own spin to it. But, for the saliva thing, I think that's an interesting idea. It reminds me a lot of the lesson 'Too much of a good thing is not a good thing' or something like that. In other words, I like it >w<

I would imagine that directly consuming Dragon-stuff would have some serious withdrawal symptoms attached to it. XD

And when I read about the hunters, I totally though Monster Hunter, which is why I got all these big weapons and fancy stuff.

Hey @Crow I see in your Hunter CS you mentioned something about the Round Table. I'm planning on making another character so is it okay if my character has connections with that organization? Also can he have some equipment from Yamamoto corps?

Sure, I don't see why not. I love character connections here and there, and I definitely can't wait to see what you have in store.

The data is then stored and sent into a company cloud which analyzes the data and creates records or updates existing ones. If records already exist, then a profile is pulled up showing stats, power levels, and abilities. This creates a large DragonShifter database for all of Hunters who utilize the Scouter.
DragonSkin Orange Prototype I. This is a body armor that is alike to the real DragonSkin armor. It's main component is numerous circular plates overlapping one another to spread out the shock when hit. Each plate has some part of dragon in to withstand battle with dragons. It also allows more movement, much like the real armor and is very lightweight. Waterproof and fireproof, the DragonSkin covers some of Evan's most vulnerable spots: mainly his chest and legs. What sets it apart from other DragonSkin is its ability to store itself after combat, compacting within itself to form spinal armor that remains attached to Evan. It was developed by Round Table and is in its final stages of testing, Evan being the tester.
