One AMV A Day!

The music does fit the anime if you've watched it. I give it my personal recommendation.
 
Double feature today


Anime: Actually, its a ton of Discovery Channel clips...at least, I think its Discovery Channel
Song: Baba Yetu
Artist: Christopher Tin

One of the only songs from a game (Civilization, to be precise) to earn a Grammy Award. And for damn good reason.

I routinely listen to this when jogging outside or practicing Parkour.

This song plus those clips just remind me how The World Is Just Awesome.

And long-time Iwakuans know that I believe in the power of Awesome.

Some classic anime. Many of you probably don't remember this one. Galaxy Express 999 is part of Leiji Matsumoto's larger "shared universe," involving Maetel, Captain Harlock, Pirate Queen Emeraldas, and others. I remember watching Bonjour Galaxy Express 999 on the original Sci-Fi Channel back in the early 1990s as one of my earliest forays into anime.

I love the design aesthetic of this franchise.

Not really an AMV, more like a rip from the actual film, but at that point in the movie it pretty much is a music video. A music video of Badass and Awesome. AUTOBOTS, ROCK OUT!
 
It's funny. I was looking for more Weird Al AMVs. I can't believe this is official.
