Xander grew up in a single parent household in Austin, Texas. His father had died in army, and his mother was left to raise him and his three siblings, Brandon, Alisha, and Grant, by herself. Months after his father's death, his mother was forced to sell their home and move into a small two bedroom house in the back of a mansion. His mother had picked up a job as a maid with one of the richest families in town.
After his family was basically transformed into one that serves another, Xander wasn't accepted at school. Most of his peers didn't see him as "up to par" because of the fact his mother could barely buy him school supplies, let alone new clothes. Growing up in Austin, Texas, at the time he did, material was worth more than the effort put forth. Though, he was able to make a few friends that became lifelong friends, Heather and Trenton. The three of them together were outcasts, but found happiness in each other during Elementary, Middle school, and High School.
Graduating with honors allowed Xander to attend Harvard, where he earned a degree in Criminal Law. He wasn't the kind of guy in college that studied hard, but instead partied hard because the grades came easy. Harvard was where he made a few more lifelong friends, and even meet someone, Jessica. She wasn't his first girlfriend, but she did stand out from all the rest. She was his dream girl. A few years of dating and he asked her to marry him days before graduation. She accepted and they were to wed the following July.
Though one day she was at work, at a famous art gallery and was killed by an art thief. By then, Xander had secured a job with the government. However, when he heard about his wives death, it sent him into depression. He was on bereavement for a few months, and upon returning to the office was offered a chance to move to London and work for the government up there. He took it, seeing that Austin was no longer his home without his wife.
Crossing the pond, he began to work for the international government. A couple of months passed and his co-workers found out about what happened in Austin. At first they acted sympathetic and then they told him the truth. An international group of thieves and criminals called Fairytale, had killed his wife during a heist. They then proceeded to tell him about Black-Cauldron, a section of the government dedicated to bringing Fairytale down. Xander wasn't happy at first with the news they told him, but after looking through files about the heist that killed his wife, he demanded to be switched to Black-Cauldron. Ever since than his being working to discovering who is a part of Fairytale and destroying their lives the way they destroyed his.
