On The Ground.

Korvin tensed even more when the gun was redirected at him. I'm going to die... He felt a tear slither down his face. He wasn't ready to die yet. When the SWAT burst in and arrested the robbers, He found he still couldn't move. When the medic came to check on him, he had to get help moving at all his muscles were so tense. He was surprised he didn't have a heart attack. After he had gotten a grip, he sort of stumbled over to Kako. "H- hey are you alright?"

She looked up for a second time in five minutes when a shaky voice questioned her. "H-hey are you alright?" Kako smiled at him reasurringly. "Yea...I'm fine, just a little scared." It was that accountant, the one with a K in his name. "Are you? You look kinda pale...then again we did all almost die and that's a normal reaction to..." She babbled on, histeria finally trapping her in its black hole.

Korvin stood there and listened to her, intrigued by the fountain of knowledge pouring from this woman's mouth. Athought occured to him. He had worked there for three months or so now, and I don't think she even knows my name. He stood there and continued to listen, waiting for her to stop rambling so he could introduce himself. He didn't want to cut her off, that would just be plain rude. He didn't like it when people cut him off, why should he cut someone else off?

"Your just lucky you didn't faint or something like that, then again my bet is…" She stops to smile and give the boy to one of the paramedics that held her arms out for him. "Don't worry sweetie. Your safe now. " She heard the medic coo. As they left Kako redirected her attention to the accountant. He looked slightly awed and she wonders why he did…then realized how much she had just babbled about and blushes bright red. "I'm sorry…I think I'm in a bit of shock."

Korvin chuckles a little. "That's alright, everybody goes into different forms of hysteria. Some babble, some build. I write events and connections on walls, apparently trying to figure out how everything in life is connected. I wouldn't know, I black out and wake up writing all over everything. I'm Korvin, by the way. Korvin Schmitte." He smiled and held out his hand.

His eyes were wide he was leaning agaisnt a cop car still and a Medic was asking him a few question's, He was running his hand through his hair before he placed his cap back on backwards. The medic nodded and patted him on the shoulder and walked away, He looked up at the sky and let a breath of air escape his lips. He didnt know what it was, maybe its because he couldnt do anything or was it that this was his job...to just sit and watch and wait for a command like a dog.

"Nice to meet you Korvin." Takes his hand and shakes it, smiling weakly. I knew it started with a K! A loud commotion is heard at the door, they both look towards it to see that the cops are escorting the cuffed robbers out the bank. The robbess was snarling and shouting in some foreign language. The SWAT man watches them with a look of hate. As the robbess passed us, Kako gave her a hateful look. Mature? No, but it sure did make her feel better. The burly man that pulled her hair was next, along with five others who they escorted into different police cars. Then they sped off. Leaving only one cop at the scene. "Man…I wish we could just get out of here. I'm already going to have nightmares from this!" Kako exclaims, looking back to Korvin.

Korvin laughs nervously at her comment. "Heh, yeah, me too. I'll most likely wake up writing on the walls again." He shuffled his feet nervously. Should I? This could be my only shot... After a pause, he inquires about something. "Hey, w- would you like to go get some c- coffee sometime, maybe?" He flinched a little as he finished his sentence. Ah, shit. No turning back now...

She blinked at his question. Coffee? It almost sounded like he wanted to go on a date! She opened her mouth, just to shut it quickly. A date…with me? Kako couldn't understand why he would want to go out with her. She was just a normal, awkward slightly tall girl. Her features were pretty plain; Chestnut brown hair, grey eyes. What was so good about that? Korvin looked as if he was about to pass out. "Actually…yeah. I'd like that!"

Korvin sighed a little in relief. She didn't reject me! Then it occurred to him, Oh, shit, she agreed! What the Hell do I do now? "Alright. After work, tomorrow? If it's open, that is." Good, made it this far. Wait, oh dear, not again... Korvin began to black out. He only had a couple seconds of sanity left. "Excuse me, I'm gonna..." He just stood there a moment with a blank expression in his emerald eyes. Then he lost it. He looked round frantically, babbling like someone who had been locked in the looney bin for years. He pulled a marker from his pocket and began drawing symbols and lines connecting them on the nearby ambulance, the ground, his arm, stepping back every few seconds to look at it all. After about three minutes of going abso-fucking-lutely insane, his eyes rolled back and he fell over.

Tamara's hands were shaking as she sat quietly in the passenger seat as Alexey drove. His false SWAT helmet and hood were off and his his smug smirk annoyed the hell out of her. But she was more thankful than annoyed.

"So how was today, Tamochka?" he chimed happily, steering to an alley and stopping the car so he could change. Tamara said nothing."Sergey is pretty excited to see you back."

Tamara's eyes widened. Sergey Ivanovich Petrov. Her real brother and the leader of their syndicate. She nervously looked at Alexey who kept his cool, having finished changing and started up the car. "I told you you shouldn't have taken that deal."

She looked away again. "Zatknis." she snapped. She obviously had a bad day. She obviously had to be saved by this goofball. The least he could do is shut up. Bored with always being counted out of their missions, she had gone out on a rebellious streak, believing herself capable of handling anything. Aside form being proven horribly wrong, it's only a matter of time before the cops figure out that she isn't among the arrested. She'll have to be in hiding again.

Alexey decided he's done torturing Tamara. The real problem starts when the cops figure out who she is. Tamara Ivanovna Petrova has been missing for years. And her brother is a wanted criminal. They are most likely to search for them very soon.

But she went after that bank knowing that there were important documents there that points to their group. She failed to take it back but at least they know where it is.

"We'll have to keep you hidden. They'll be after you any time now." Alexey said with a serious tone. He took a sharp turn and ran on the highway.

Kako smiled and spoke, "That sounds gr-"
"Excuse me I'm gonna" She stopped mid sentence as Korvin whipped out a permanent marker and began to run around graffitying the ambulances and anything else he could right on. He rambled on about something she couldn't make out and ran around like a chicken without its head being chased around by paramedics for a good four minutes. Then he froze and crumpled to the ground. Kako gasped and rushed over to him, kneeling down over where he lie. "Korvin? Korvin!"

Korvin was still for a moment and then blinked rapidly for a few seconds. His eyes returned to normal, and he saw Kako staring down at him. He blushed slightly at his episode and chuckled in embarrassment. "Heheh, told you I go raving mad and start writing on everything." He sits up, and clutches the side of his head. "OW! Sonova- that hurts! Ah, fuckin' headache..." He looked up at her and squinted in the light. "I'm alright, just a little dazed, that's all. I'm fine." He climbs to his feet and uses the adjacent vehicle for support. "Alright, I'm going to go home and get an ice pack. Jeez... See you tomorrow.... ?" I don't think I ever caught her name either.

"Kako?" She smiles slightly. "Are you sure your all right? You don't need a ride or anything, I wouldn't want you getting in wreck!" She reaches towards him as he struggles, her eyebrows furrowing in concern. "Oh! I almost forgot!" She rushed into the bank and grabbed her small satchel, then booked it back outside. "If..I'm correct…" She grumbles searching in her satchel for…Ha! "I have some Advil right here if you'd like some." Kako gestured to the small bottle a crooked smile on her lips.

Korvin sighed with relief when she pulled out the Advil. "Yes, thank you." He said, accepting the bottle of pills. He took two out and swallowed them, handing the bottle back to her. "And I should be fi- AAGH!!!" He clutched his head again with both hands and fell to his knees.

That's right, draw the map, Korvin. Lead us to our goal, show us our path...
Yes, show us the way, Korvin, draw the map...
Draw the map...
The Map....
Map...
DRAW
THE
MAP!!!!!!!!

"AAAAGGGHHH!!!" Korvin Howled in agony and fell onto his side. "SHUUUUT UUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!!!!!!!!!!" He fell over on his side and began sobbing heavily, tears streaming down his face. "Please... Just... get out of my head... please..." He continued sobbing for several minutes.

After he had recollected himself. He wiped his face and looked back up at Kako. "Y- yes, a ride would b- be nice, thanks."

Kako gasped again and fell to her knees beside him. "Look…you don't have to tell me what that was…let's just…let's just go." She stood and helped him up, walking to her car and unlocking it, sliding into the fresh smelling interior. The passenger door slammed and Korvin buckled in his seat belt. "All right. Direct me!"

Korvin had a little trouble catching his breath. "Not too far from here. Just go down Main, turn left onto Okechov Road, and follow that down to Mallerie Drive. White house, grey shingles, blue sedan in the driveway. Purple door." He continued holding his head in pain as she drove.

She nods and makes her way to the house. As she arrived she slowed to a stop in front of the house. "You okay for now?" He nods. "Well…do you have a cell?" She pulls out her I-Phone from her satchel., the screen lit up and she cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, ok, sure." He takes the phone from her and puts in his name and number as a new contact. "Here's my number. Jst call me or text me or something and I can save your number from there." He handed the phone back to her and began to get out of the car. "And, thank you for the ride home. Luckily I have two cars. I'll see you tomorrow, then, Kako." He closes the door and goes inside as she drives off. He leans his back up against the wall and slides down, so he is sitting on the floor. Holy shit, that just happened.

As she drove off she was trying not to have a panic attack. All of what had happened today was still overwhelming her, and her mind kept pulling back the memory of the woman sprawled out limp on the ground. "That...was my fault." She whispers, a heavy guilt resting in her chest. Tears started to form in her eyes. The worst part, is that the poor little boy...got to watch his mother die right in front of him. "M-my fault!" Kako begun to sob, her vison quickly became blurred and so she pulled over so as not to kill anybody else.
