On My Orders

The sudden shot made Radd hit the cover of a barricade quick. He would never take a chance to expose himself in combat unless it was truely required for a counter strike. Nevertheless he pushed on, keeping low to the ground ready to fire of a clip or two. It wasn't the real thing, but it was enough to keep him tense in the head. This war might have been a game, but on the outside world, on the very land of Reach, war aprroached without mercy. The covenant were coming. That was no doubt, thanks to the current events that took place all levels of the U.N.S.C were alert. Radd just hoped that this wouldn't be the last training session he'll ever have.

"Good eye, Iliana." he said moving in her facing direction. Like always, she was watching his back harder than the rest. Radd always knew he'd be hit at any moment, but Iliana always stepped in and saved him countless times. It displayed a true state of honor and determination of a soldier that most used to keep alive. It showed trust. And that's was one of the qualities needed for this war.

After he listened close to her voice, he noticed how she sounded... different. Her whisper had a more unrested sound to it. Similar to how she sounded before the match. Was she still tired? At a time like this! But he wasn't stressed about it. Iliana was a hard worker among the ranks, so she probably didn't rest much, but this was his fault this time. Even if it wasn't he wouldn't have a single soldier out on the field if they were to exausted.

"Iliana, fron and center." he said, calling her oover to a secure spot.
