How about Nevermade? They were not intended to be created, after all. How do you pluralize it? Nevermades?
Nevermade works for me! And you can have the plural be the same as the singular, if you want.

-Selective Intangibility: They can phase through most things except things that target them. For example, they can phase through a generic wall, but not a wall created by an earthbender for containing them (at least, until the universe forget after awhile). They can phase through people if they don't try to stop them, and they can phase through bullets unless the bullets were aimed at them.

Superposition Teleport: if no one know where they are exactly, they can perform an off-screen teleport. You don't need to directly observe them. For example, if one of them leave the room and go to the toilet, you know he's in the toilet, so he can't teleport out.

However, after awhile, that knowledge become dated. You don't know he is in the toilet. You saw him enter the toilet and didn't see him exit. He could have climbed through the window or something. He can now teleport out.

Otherness: They are not a part of any creation, any paradigm, so trying to read their minds or directly predicting their actions using magic or technology may lead to headaches. They are still surprising normal andcomprehensible in mentality though, so you can easily construct a profile of them and make guesses off of that.

High strength and durability: technically not a racial feature, but a property of the armors they wear. They'll die and cause damage the I reality without the armor, so they cant cut corner.
These all work for me. Just make sure you edit them into the abilities section on your race sheet.

Name: Dove
Race: Nevermade
Gender: Nevermade don't have genders, but Dove's armor design and masculine voice make it more convenient to qualify as male.
Age (apparent): Rather hard to tell
Age (actual): As old as time.
Appearance:
gothic_pattern_shock_knight_by_hyuga_akimoto-d33x49s.jpg

Bio:
Dove was rather eccentric amongst even his kind for his great interest in the successful creatures of creations. Where the other Nevermade would wonder from this world to the next, forever searching for that Holy Grail that would save them from their fate, Dove would pose as hedge knights and mercenaries, trying to integrate himself into their communities. Thus, when the opportunity to be apart of such a large and diverse community, Dove immediately jumped on board.

Unlike other Nevermade, Dove is much more cheery and active. He frequently tries to get to know and socialise with everyone, and can even be a little pushy. Occasionally, he let his age and wisdom shine through, but most of the time, he acts half his (apparent) age.

-.-' This certainly seems to go against some of what was said in the Nevermade's race sheet...

But I just woke up, so I think I'm going to avoid commenting on specifics until I'm awake enough to take a closer look at all this.

Or even this:

Sorry for the skimpy stuff. Those with blue hearts can keep their eyes closed... :bsmile:

Yeah, right, I was going to use the Broken Lords's aesthetic, although I thought the OP stated that the characters are supposed to get into the high school theme, so...

Dove's appearance is basically because she's an ambassador. It's like a T-X. She is still a suit of armor, but a lot of effort went into making that suit of armor look realistic.

Honestly, I was going to use something like what was suggested above, but I was worried about clashing aesthetic

I was going to point out the "Holy Grail quest" thing should be in the race sheet, but you already kinda implied it there, so I guess it's fine.

The suit of armor is absolutely fine, especially if it looks like there's a teenaged humanoid in there. That being said, I think the character is acceptable, so let me know if you're going to change the appearance or not before I accept her.

Also, the word "wonder" means either "to casually question something" or "amazement". I think you're looking for the word "wander" which usually refers to travel. I usually don't like pointing out spelling errors, but you seem to really like that word, so I figure you might wanna know :P

We have a student who is an eyeball with tentacles. There is no unified "aesthetic".

But yes, Roose is right -- your race sheet definitely made it sound like the creatures had to be completely covered in armor, and that said armor was like... several inches thick, or something (I might be misremembering the details). So then suddenly saying "oh yeah but this Nevermade has armor that makes her look human" just feels like... a cop-out. Not to mention, it kind of defeats the purpose of having any armor there in the first place. If it's possible to have super-thick armor that looks like the outward appearance of a human (which I still think is kind of cheap at this point), why have any "normal" armor at all? Wouldn't any normal-looking armor just exist as a fashion statement at that point?

Just go ahead and use the full-body armor things that Roose suggested. They make a lot more sense. XD

Ahhh... except she's not "fluid"...?

You mean like this?

@Rowdybull I regret not catching this sooner:

In your intro post, you approached a group that you said consisted of Aerly, Avarice, Seiko, Levi, and Kaine -- but Kaine is not in that group. He is in a different group. I want to make sure this is made clear, so that we don't wind up getting confused about where everyone is again.

And a reminder to everyone else in that group (@AnimeLover_Princess, @gamer5, @chaosheart13, @Katharina), don't forget that Oscar (Rowdybull's character) approached your group, and that you should include some acknowledgement of him in your next post -- so that we don't have to go a whole turn cycle before realizing that no one knew he was there, like what happened when Levi joined the group.

Also, it is Katharina's turn to post for your group.

Ah, OK then, armor it is.

Well, I did said they are looking for that thing which would make them full again.

It's not actually the Arthurian Holy Grail.

Oh...

...Oh...Wow....

How do me English? Me commit Sudoku

Yeah, kinda....

Well, switching to armor

Small minor teensy announcement of sorts. LUMA'S LOCATION LIST in the second post of this thread has been updated. If there's any concerns about character placement, please address them to me. Anybody who has moved since the last list update (specified within the spoiler) will be underlined (for instance, see the Mire group or our latest newcome Oscar) for clarity.

I'll be making Key & Neptune posts soon, I have to figure out what's going to happen with a now-out-of-control tornado and Neptune's empathic shapeshifting. c:

Crap XD I've not been getting alerts for Omnibus for the past two weeks. That's quite bad. I'll get to posting in a few minutes. :)

You may want to give this a look, to prevent your alerts from "breaking" in the future.

I've always known about that. I just think that when I took a very short break from everything, I got way more posts than I thought would happen XD but thanks. I'll try to post soon.

Oh. Sorry I figured that hurricane would disappear with Key. Do I need to edit that into Sol's post?

Mmm. Then you may want to look at your "watched threads" list a bit more often. It'll give you an easy way to look at all the threads that you may have been missing alerts for. o3o

Ehhh, it actually might be better to have the chaos leave with the Mire group. I'll just write my next post that way, so don't worry about it. For all purposes, there's no tornado in the square anymore; without the Harbinger's influence, it'll fizzle into a dry wind.

"logic"

I seriously just bookmarked that page. Insanely useful for hard it is to get to that screen.
