@Roose Hurro, @Psuedoku, @Sail & @Luma (as Sol)

Ishika calmly drunk down her coffee, sugar-free, each gulp sent down into her stomach improving her mood. "Good damn it, for small furred animals those squirrel make one fine coffee," she thought as she put down the mug which was by now missing half of its contents. She looked around, observing the nearby students and finally stopping her eyes on a particularly interesting group that caught her eye primary due to the weird four-legged furry creature that was playing with some kind of box? Anyways she observed the group, her mood decently improved, while taking a sip from her mug from time to time.

@Roose Hurro @Sail @Psuedoku @gamer5 @chaosheart13 ...otherwise known as 'the cafe group'.

A curious, and partially annoyed, expression crossed Sol's face as Deen finished his explanation that she found entirely unsatisfying. Sure, this auditory communication was vastly inferior to her own native language, but still, many words to explain nothing. Instead, Sol suddenly reached forward and grabbed one of the mysterious orbs, playing with and fondling it. After several attempts at staring, spinning and squeezing it, she finally turned back to Deen with a confused face and spoke a single word as a question, "Tool?"

@Yorika

Luna was enjoying the moment as she watched the fun chaos through the safety of the clear glass behind the counter. At least, she thought it was safe, before a well flung potato bounced off the counter and bonked her head. Wow, someone was a really good shot. She retaliated by randomly flinging a piece of food into the crowd here and there, before a giant black kitty suddenly leaped over the counter into her safe zone. "Eep," Luna squeaked, reflexively flinging a fistful of grapes at it, which bounced off harmlessly. A few moments passed as the panic wore off, and she came to notice two important things. The first realization was that the kitty wasn't actually hostile, but then came the realization that this was actually a magical giant kitty.

Despite the tasty looking food around her and the fact that she'd already eaten, Luna's mouth began to water a bit. There were several kinds of magic she really really wanted for herself, but summoning a pet at any time definitely ranked on her top 10- no, wait...maybe even top 5? Summoning magic was delightful. Stealing a look around her for the source of this summon, Luna failed to make out any obvious owner. Did that make it fair game? Or, even better, a gift? As the food fight was starting to calm down, Luna hopped over the counter and started to exit the building, turning to check if the delicious-looking giant kitty was still following her.

Omni Bits...

Perhaps to Nightshade Deen's Omni Bits seemed filled with great power. If so, it was only due to Deen being present. To his life... his Nism spirit... touching them. More the fact they reflected the energy of their "master". Their "key". So, yes, perhaps a little of Deen's chi leaked through to Nightshade's perceptions, him being a spiritual being. Perhaps sensitive to such things.......

Deen finished with a final gulp, tempted to just lick his mug clean right away, but... Nightshade's question. Deen slid the toolbox towards the table's middle, touched the locks, and opened the box. The box, filled with what looked like simple marbles, though all of the same size and color. Size, about point three nine three inches in diameter. Color, a blue-grey core layered in clear glass. Composition, billions of sub-micron nano-machines able to effect changes at the quantum level.

Fabric of Reality stuff.

But Deen casually plucked one out and handed it to Nightshade's doll. As for Aelos, yes, he had reason to believe such cryptic-ness from Deen was indeed a habit. Not a deliberate habit, however. Not presumptuous. Just present because he was young and Nism and possessed no sense of diplomacy. After all, he had lifted his tail and displayed his "gifts" to everybody, before jumping Threshhold. He wasn't in the least bit shy. Or the least bit interested in hiding anything. He just had a different way of looking at things. A differing perspective on what mattered.

Besides, he liked delivering surprises. Had a quirky sense of humor... cue animate shirt playing with Nightshade's bellybutton, perhaps now stroking his nipples. Perhaps exploring regions below the belt. Perhaps.......

Ahhh, yes! Aelos had a question! Tongue between teeth, Deen gave Aelos a flick of ears...

... "The question isn't What do they even do?... it's What do you want them to do?"

Which was, to be honest, quite true. You not only needed to know the key and how to "turn" it, you had to know exactly what you wanted done. Deen, being Nism, already had the key by nature, and had already learned how to "turn" it, just like he'd learned to "turn" the Knob to Threshhold. And had learned to define just exactly what he wanted done. Of course, being young, he was still learning. Still practicing his skills, so.......

Another patron entered the Java Squirrel. And asked for a mocha.......

Ishika's eyes wandered after half her mug was gone, then locked on "a particularly interesting group".......

Yes, locked on just a moment or two before female Celestial reached forward and grabbed a Bit from Deen's open toolbox. Again, Deen wasn't at all concerned that someone had snatched up such an advanced and potentially... infinite device. Well, to do real "damage", you needed more than one! But then, all it took was one pebble to start an avalanche. Just had to figure out how to move the pebble.......

Tool?

Deen grinned...

... "Here... let me show you......."

Deen moved his toolbox out of the way, lid closed so no more "sticky fingers" could snatch another Bit. Then he slipped the "stolen" Bit from Sol's grasp, slid his empty mug to the table's middle... stroked Sol's Bit with a swift, sure pattern, weaving lines of chi over its surface and into its core. Then dropped said Bit into his mug. Just before it crossed the rim... Fweep!... it lit up like Tinkerbell, clinked into the mug... fizzt!... yes, a tiny crackle of energy, a wave of light passing through its structure as its structure came apart and started to reform...

... a rush of quantum motion...

... and where mug once stood, its mass now formed a small, perfect statue. Of Deen. Which suddenly blinked its tiny eyes. And grinned.......

Anna Fade
The Greyen

Anna turned slightly to look at Naia, really only catching her out of the corner of her eye. She was trying to keep her wet hair over the sink. "My name is Anna. Anna," there was a moment of hesitation before she continued, "Fade." She finished as she ducked her head down near the sink once more. She heard Naia say something, but the roar of the faucet made her hearing a bit shoty. She jumped when she felt some water on the back of her head, the fresh smell of shampoo soon lingering in her nose. She looked in the mirror and found Naia performing some magic. Her eyes dazzled with a bright neon pink. She was always fascinated by the magic of others. Though in the Greyen community her own ability was rare, she knew it was rather normal for others. After a few minutes of Naia's water ball routine, Anna's hair was the vivid yellow-y blonde it normally was. She squeezed her hair out and began to braid it again, pulling it over her shoulder. "Thank you for your help. And that magic you performed was amazing! Now only if I could get my hair dry again," she said in a rather joking tone. She wasn't about to ask Naia to dry her hair after she did all that work to get the pudding out.

Sera
The Athys

Sera looked at the being whom had just stepped out of the room. She didn't like this... Man. All too much. His soul felt off, as if he were sharing the space in his body with another. She wasn't really one to talk. She had taken over her current body, but he just didn't feel right to her. "Hello." She said when hem greeted them, trying to be friendly but still a bit off out by him. "I'm Sera." She said, nodding to him.

Hau

Hau watched as the brightly color eyed girl flipped out for a few moments. Then grapes came flying. He opened his mouth and caught a couple, enjoying the sweet taste. Hau didn't nesessarily need to eat, but food did in fact taste good to him. He continued to watch the humanoid girl, Luna, as he slid into a resting position. She seemed to accept the fact that he wasn't going to hurt her just as he had laid down. The big cat watched her jump back over the counter and gave a huff. Just when he got comfortable. Hau stood up and jumped back over the counter, where he found that the food fight was quickly losing steam. He followed the girl, wondering where she was going. He had been instructed to help this girl, but it didn't mean he needed to take initiative.

Nightshade heard every word Deen had spoken, but did not listen to a single one. He saw the Omni Bit in his doll's hand, saw Deen's mug turn into an animate statue of Deen himself, yet he felt none of it. He could feel energy flowing forth from his doll's body, and for the first time since he became a Devo, he could feel the world the way he once did. He had experienced something new in his body, when he thought nothing like that could be possible. Yet that feeling quickly slipped away, leaving Nightshade floating above his doll, bored and unappeased with his feelings.

Nightshade watched the statue for a moment, then with awe and curiosity, said, "How do you control it?"

Aelos watched as one by one, each person grabbed and picked up a strange marble. He frowned, as he was uncomfortable stepping into such a vague unknown. When he had decided to attend Omnibus and go to Earth, Aelos had a good idea of what he was getting himself into. But these omni bits? He had no idea what they were. Only that they came from Deen, and that Deen was capable of some sort of spacial type of magic. It was established that these were some kind of tool...but of what nature?

The answer came in the form of yet another mystery from Deen, which intrigued Aelos this time. He then watched as the cup of coffee that Deen had been drinking from turned into...a small Deen? One that moved around? But..."...How?", Aelos echoed the voice of the boy who still had not named himself. Aelos considered calling him Nameless; it fit the type of being Aelos assumed he was...based on what he overheard before going to the table. "Or maybe...what? What are they? Magic? Or...some 'natural' type of manipulation of the physical world--science?", he pressed, the wheels of curiosity turning in his head.

Naia dismisses the water ball spell, making the water disappear and said: "That can be done. Redirect flow, run process, execute spell." With those worlds another spell, Wind Gale, was called forth, but not before Naia quickly edited the spell to increase duration while lowering the speed of the created wind. With a flow of air that rushed trough Anna's hair gently under Naia's watchful eyes. Unfortunately Naia had no method to also heat up the air, but even with just this it would help with drying Anna's hair.

Avarice turned around and tried to look at the person that had bumped into one of the people she had just met. She kept blinking and squinting at their being, their outline still a little fuzzy in her vision. She didn't know what to make of this person or their intentions. Hopefully they were friendly folk.

"Who are you?" she asked, "Are you a 1-0? I hope you're not, but if you are..." Her voice trailed off as the disgust was made evident on whatever feature she had. She was incredibly tense just thinking about them being a 1-0. But it wasn't likely she was going to meet one while in school, was she? She didn't know.

"Ah! I am glad you are unhurt!" she said with a smile, she could see the wary reactions of her companions out of the corner of her eye and Shadow was moving in between her and this stranger. "Aerly? an interesting name, I will remember it" she gestured to herself "My name is Seiko, and this" she gestured down to the wolf who was now standing protectively in front of Seiko's feet, letting out a low-pitched growl, she nudged him slightly, and looked up at her confused "This is Shadow, my friend"

Sera then introduced herself, so Seiko didn't reiterate but as Avarice had not said her name Seiko said "This is Avarice" she looked at the creature, hoping she hadn't offended her by introducing her without her permission before continuing "we were heading for my room when I nearly ran into you, Where are you going? if you do not mind my asking?"

"No I am not a 1-0, I am an Irenay," Aerly quickly answered Avarice, added a quick: "Glad to meet you miss Sera;" before returning their attention back to Seiko:"Looks like Shadow is a good boy and is properly vary of strangers. And I don't mind answering any of your questions miss Seiko. My humble self finished unpacking and decided to go around and use the free time to explore the school. Are you going to your room to leave your luggage? I would be glad to carry it for you miss."

Primary_Batter tapped their hands on the counter as they waited for their mocha drink to come out. They weren't exactly impatient, despite what their gesture said otherwise. They were simply waiting for their drink to come and that was all there was to it, nothing more, nothing less.

They listened to the background noise as they waited, hearing something about an omni bit. It didn't concern them, however, as the conversation was not directed at them. Still, they couldn't help but overhearing what the speaker had to say on the subject matter and- well, they couldn't feel intrigue, but they did listen nonetheless.

Finally, their mocha came out and a squirrel handed the 1-0 their drink. "Thank you," they said monotonously as they went over to an empty table that was right next to where the conversation was taking place. They sipped at their drink and noted that for something made by a bunch of squirrels, it tasted pretty good.

Anna Fade
The Greyen

Anna yelped when NAIA switch over to a wind magic. The braid she had been working on was now being blow dried, unraveling it from fits once braided form. Although the air was cold, Anna still appreciated the thought. "You didn't have to do this Naia, but thank you very much." She said, as she combed through her hair with her fingers. She didn't know how she would repay this small girl for all the help she was giving her. Her long blonde hair was soon dry and the Greyen held up her hand for the girl to stop. "My hair is dry, thank you Naia!" She said over the 'blow dryer'.

Luna grinned and made a subdued 'fist-pump of victory' gesture upon seeing the delicious looking magic source following her, before turning forward again and striding off to the dormitories. Unfortunately, her joy was cut short as she stepped into the upstairs hallway to witness that...tentacle thing in the hallway. Right next to her own room too. As Luna approached the group, she formed an invisible wall of magic which began to forcibly shove the eyeball creature further down the hallway. Pretending she had nothing to do with it (despite it being rather obvious), Luna turned straight into her room to witness the state of disarray. What had those two done in here that her books had flown around everywhere?

"The time has come to fully establish this lunar base of sanctuary," Luna softly declared to herself. As books began to fly back into their place, Luna's other crates began to open and release various mechanical parts and chunks of metal. A short moment of self-assembly later, the larger part of the room was taken up by some scanning device that resembled a 3d printer and a gigantic blender, which was easily large enough to fit Luna herself. This particular blender featured a hose-like faucet coming out of it's short, wide base, blades that looked like they could lift a helicopter with ease, and a side-door, which Luna promptly flung open. "Alrighty, the magic deconstruction unit should be prepared," Luna declared, turning to confirm that the 'magic source' in the form of the giant black cat was still there.

@Roose Hurro @Psuedoku @Sail @gamer5 @chaosheart13 ...hopefully I didn't forget anyone here.

Sol watched as the mysterious orb was effortlessly slipped out of her inexperienced hands and used in it's quantum wizardry. She couldn't help but be at least a little impressed at the precision of it all; even on very close inspection it was basically a copy of the larger being. Even so, Sol was slowly beginning to piece some of the more obvious answers together. Seeing as everyone else was just as confused as she was, it seemed this was a place to share talents, capabilities, or general creativity. And if that was the case...

Sol turned in her seat and raised her hand, which began to pulse white light outward. With each pulse, additional matter was formed on the ground. First, what appeared to be a metallic bone structure, then muscle-like tendons, wired organ-substitutes, and finally, skin, clothes and hair to cover it all. The end result appeared to be a pair of elegant twin humans, the male dressed as a butler, and the female as a maid; both in their late teens. In it's entirety, the process had taken about a minute. As the both of them stood up, they recognized their master, alongside the instructions she provided them via tiny solar-flare writing in the air. Being as fascinated with planetaries as she was, Sol was particularly proud the first time she had successfully created one of these. Funny enough, they were better at acting human than she was.

Meanwhile, two newly created beings began to explore their minds. One found himself confident, the other found herself more timid, yet both shared an unnaturally strong loyalty to their master. A master that, at the moment, was commanding them to acquire her a drink. Like any good, overly loyal servant, they both nodded their heads and unanimously replied aloud, "Yes miss." As soon as they had moved a few meters away from the table however, both began to consider their lack of money. However, their master had given them a command and expected them to follow through, so the couple walked up to the counter and attempted to order a chai tea regardless.

Avarice sighed in relief. "Oh good. I mean, sorry for the accusation," she said, squinting at Aerly. She really needed those mythical glasses they spoke of, hopefully the people on campus would have some. "Don't worry about her bags, I got it." Most of her tentacles raised into the air to show that she was carrying Seiko's burden.

Then she squealed as she was forcefully shoved by something invisible. An enemy?! Where?! Her eye darted about the place, trying to find whoever was pushing her. She growled a little when she saw a humanoid going into the room she had been standing in front of. Freaking humanoid, she hoped she wasn't a 1-0 or she would've used her tentacles to tear the person apart, or maybe even choke them to death. She snapped out of her bloodlust and wiggled her way back to the group. "Anyway, should probably be getting to your room soon Seiko."

Shadow seemed to understand that what Aerly had said had been a compliment, so he stopped the growling but still stood warily between the two. Seiko chuckled a little, looking down "Yes, I suppose he is" before looking back up. she resigned to ask Avarice later what exactly an 1-0 was but figured now wasn't the time. "we were going to my room, but as Avarice said, she has my luggage" she was actually a little bit flustered that this stranger wanted to carry her bags for her, it was still strange to her that Avarice was carrying them. "I thank you for the offer, however"

she saw as Avarice was pushed back by an invisible force and reacted instinctively, summoning a cloud above her head, a moment later, of course, she saw Luna and figured out what exactly had occurred. she got a little embarrassed and banished the cloud. Avarice seemed to be alright so she wasn't going to go yell at Luna now, though she may have a talk with the girl later. at Avarice's comment she nodded "yes, you still need to find your friend, we should be on our way" she looked to Aerly "It was a pleasure meeting you, I hope to see you around"

"End Spell, Close Process, Stop Flow," Naia said, turning off her magic and then returning her magic gloves into her pocket. She also added, making pauses revealing her slight anxiety, after she was not a person to talk her feelings openly, but she had to start from somewhere to remove this problem: "It is nothing, I was already here and ... I guess I felt a little bad for ... not using my magic to stop the food fight ... when I noticed it erupting." She let a passing thought pass trough her mind: "That came out easier then I thought it would," before leaning on the wall of the stall in which she teleported in and waited for Anna's reply.

@chaosheart13 @AnimeLover_Princess @Luma (as Luna) & @Yorika (as Sera)

Moving out of the way with a gallant and clean move, Aerly couldn't resist the temptation and asked: "If you don't mind miss Seiko, my humble self would very much like to know what are your plans after dropping off your luggage." The female personality was wailing at the male one but it could only watch and hope that one of Seiko's companions would finally get what are the male personality's intentions. The male personality also noticed Luna's entrance, but after the initial thought of "What a cute girl!", but upon hearing her talk, added a extra though: "She might be a bit to cra- eccentric even for my strike zone."

Hau

Hau continued to follow the, uh, interesting girl he had been tasked to help. She lead him to the dorms, which he was actually partially happy about. That meant there was a comfy bed somewhere for him to sleep. A twinge in the back if his mind let him know that he was getting farther from Anna, but he knew she would be fine. Soon their journey took them into a hall way, which it seemed was full of people. The panther slipped past the group, making note of the small white fluffy dog, er, wolf that was at their feet. Hau felt the urge to growl at it, but ignored it. The wolf wasn't worth the effort at the moment. When the big cat found his quarry once more, he stood in the door way watching her fling objects around. This humanoid was rather lively. Much more so than Anna. He looked around the room for a moment before he eyes settled on and unoccupied bed. His eyes seemed to glisten as he walk over to it, ignoring any sort of etiquette, and made himself at home on the bed. Once comfortable, he looked up and found Luna looking at him. He gave a huff as if to ask her what she wanted.
@Luma (Luna)

Sera

Sera was still wary of this male, Aerly was his name. She was jolted out of her thoughts when Aerly suggested something a bit too friendly like. She stepped forward and moved in front if Seiko. "Oh? And what is it you had in mind?" She asked, her eyes shifting to that of a cat. Seiko seemed a bit too innocent for what this man was trying to insinuate, though that was what Sera thought at least. Her glare was unfaltered by Luna's appearance. Sera did make note to find out why a cat creature was following the girl, but that was the least if her worries.

Anna

As soon as Naia released her spell, Anna began braiding her hair. Having her hair in a braid was kind if like a security blanket. It made her feel a bit more comfortable with things. She looked up when Naia started to apologize, ablush slowly reddening her face. "Uh... Um! It's alright! Itsnotlikeyourtheonethatthrewthepuddingatme!" She said, her words all jumbled together. She was embarrassed, her eyes a neon pink. This girl was apologizing after doing so much for Anna. A twinge in the back of her neck made Anna stiffen for a moment. Hau was moving farther away. She glanced at the door for a moment then back at Naia, she had never liked being far awag from Hau. Her eyes sunk to a muttled green color as she started to worry. "Hey Naia do you want to walk around campus for a little?" Anna asked a bit sheepishly. She knew she didn't have to worry about Hau, sos he was trying to take her mind off of him.
@gamer5 (Naia)

@Yorika (as Anna)

"That would be fine with me, not like I had particular plans after this," Naia answered Anna. "I scouted out the school using my portals so I know where everything is. So if you want I can take you to a particular place. Or we could just take a walk and chat a bit," she added, forcing the words in her mind out into the open. She then awaited Anna's reply, her small form still leaning on the wall of the stall in which she portalled in.

@AnimeLover_Princess @Yorika @gamer5

Avarice blinked and squinted at the party of four, which included her. She wasn't sure what kind of movement they made due to her very poor eyesight, but it seemed like Sera had moved somewhat in front of Seiko? She didn't know why, it wasn't like she was protecting anyone or anything like that, right?

"Why do you want to know her plans for dropping off the luggage?" she asked, squinting very hard at what she assumed was Aerly's form, "Do you want to do something important with her?" She rippled her body and squirmed a little. "Anyway, Seiko, which room is your room again? I can't see the numbers..."
