Oh My! Magical Onsen?!

Onsen - hot springs and/or the inn attached to the hotsprings

The six Seikai private high schoolers had finally found the Misaki onsen the school had reserved for their school. It had been an hard 5 mile hike but they had made it to their final destination. But little did they know that this hotspring was not the one they were intended to take a dip in. These were magical hotsprings. As soon as they would bathe and relax in the hotsprings, the next morning they would no longer be the same sex and would switch bodies with the other three in the opposite hot springs. They have three days to fix their bodies or be stuck in the wrong body forever!!

(an old witch will be helping us get back to our bodies as she will have us retriving items)

This will hopefully be a comedic rp with slightly serious undertones about gender expectations and stereotypes

Name: Hachiko Yukimura

Age: 17

Grade: Junior

Reputation at school: rumored lesbian, nice and very courteous

Perception of the opposite sex: gross and disrepectful

History: Hachiko has been attending Seikai private school since 3rd grade. In middle school she came out to her parents and was refuted. Since the she has falsely shown interest in the opposite sex. Even dating two boys breifly that ended by her own hands, secretly of course. Overall she's very average but she hates frogs and snakes

Appearance:

Personality: happy and nice but slightly sarcastic, and becomes mean and snippity when under pressure or frustrated

Things you personally want to see in the rp: I want to see the characters' struggle with the faćade of still appearing acting as the opposite sex and another person.

Where do you want your character to mentally or physically or emotionally achieve at the end of this rp: mentally I want her to not think of men as all the same and emotional to be okay with her sexuality and accept herself for who she is

Grade: Senior
Reputation at school: Tough guy, picks on lower-classmen and is very popular with the shallow girls.

Perception of the opposite sex: He believes that girls are all shallow, and he takes advantage of that. If they're cute, they're his., if they don't think he's hot, they're sluts.

History: Grew up with 3 older siblings who are all businessmen, and he's pushed by his family to follow that dream, but it's not his wish. He is rebellious of his parents and family, which comes out in school with the other kids he's around. Never had a girl who tried to understand him, enjoyed the meaningless relations he had.

Personality: Shuts people out, a jerk to people he doesn't know unless it's a cute girl, can't keep friends so he doesn't try to make many.

Things you personally want to see in the rp: I'd like to see someone try to get in my character's head, someone who catches him offguard and allows him to bring down his wall.

Where do you want your character to mentally or physically or emotionally achieve at the end of this rp: Honestly, I'd like my character to find a bit of freedom by being a girl and try to make sure he stays that way.

Name: Suichi Nochiyama
Age: 17
Grade: Junior
Reputation at school: Average guy, Nothing Remarkable, A bit mysterious
Perception of the opposite sex: He is kind of clueless about the opposite sex, even though he has two younger sisters. Has a tendency to think that girls feel exactly the same. Doesn't feel the need to look for a girlfriend because he thinks women will be easier to understand as he gets older
History: Suichi grew up with the typical life that most modern teenagers had; Two parents, mother at home, father constantly working to support the family, younger siblings, that were adorable at times, annoying the rest, and he had clerical job at a small hobby shop in the business district of their town. He had his halcyon days of childhood followed with the typical blandness of adolescence and is expecting his adult life to be equally as bland. He really has nothing really unique about his history at all.
Appearance:

Personality: A bit serious, but mostly bland. Trying to finish up high school so that his 'real' life can start, expecting it be somewhat more exciting that his current unexciting existence. But there is a certain bitterness he retains at the fact that that won't be likely. A part of him always feesl like he is waiting for something to happen. For something to come into his life that will make it feel like he has some meaning to it, but as he gets older and older, that sense of hope diminishes further and further.
Things you personally want to see in the rp: A chance to develop some emotionally complex characters, maybe alittle bit a romance, alittle bit of drama, and maybe some tragedy!
Where do you want your character to mentally or physically or emotionally achieve at the end of this rp: I want my character to perhaps regain his ability to enjoy life, see things from another perspective, and learn that maybe it is okay for him to go off the path alittle for the sake his own enjoyment. And hopefully, he can get alittle romance to lighten up his dull life.

Perception of the opposite sex:
Kimi is respectful to all males unless they obviously don't deserve it. Although many that confront her are stupid and uninterested in anything beyond her looks, she can admit there are decent men out there.
History:
This Nakamura family has very strict philosophies, the main one being if you don't go above and beyond in school, you'll fail at life and be disowned. Kimiko is expected to attend a high class university after she graduates high school. Her earlier years of high school, she dated a variety of men and women, finding none that really suited her. The boys only wanted her for her looks and the girls were much too dramatic and paranoid about the possibility she's cheating. She decided to not date anymore and has high hopes to find someone mature after college. Not to mention, her parents don't want her being distracted from what's really important. They wouldn't care if she married a canine, as long as she graduated from a big time university.
Appearance:

Personality:
A young woman with high standards and a love for books. She seldom speaks to anyone unless they speak to her first. Kimiko has an eye for both genders, but treats them both the same when they ask her for a date: "No. I'm busy." She is super, duper uptight. If she's pushed enough, she will unleash a lot of fury; her family calls her passive-aggressive. The cold expressions on her face make people wonder if she has a soul; she comes off as a warm blooded robot.
Things you personally want to see in the rp:
I want to see if anyone is man or woman enough to make her loosen up and smile. She never smiles; the most anyone gets is a quick smirk.
Where do you want your character to mentally or physically or emotionally achieve at the end of this rp:
She needs to realize there is more to life than school. It may make her parents sad, but one cannot live properly until they learn to enjoy the 'finer things'.

(Okay, I know JACK about Asian culture so I kinda winged it here XD)

Name: Chou Wanatabe
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
Reputation at school: A major tease or a total slut depending on who you ask; a bitch in general according to everyone
Perception of the opposite sex: In a word, dumb. Easy to manipulate, but a lot nicer than the girls who picked on her.
History: Chou was a painfully awkward girl growing up, too tall and lanky with bad skin and no social skills. After going through the cliche caterpillar into a butterfly transformation thanks to puberty, she began to use her new looks to get her way. She forced a lot of girls who used to make fun of her into either being her friend or being ostracized. Boys, on the other hand, became pets who she quickly learned had no real feelings to take into account. She's since dated everyone, from jocks to teachers. Despite being called a slut constantly, no one has any real evidence of her sleeping with anyone...but her skirt is so short, who cares?
Appearance: She dyes her hair blonde, which is her most notable trait. She's got dark brown eyes she rims in what some would say is too much make up. Her body is typical of a teen girl, though she's a bit busty for her age, which many attribute to a push up bra.
Personality: Though she pretends to be a cold hearted bitch, her self esteem is secretly very low. She strives for people to not just like her, but to want and fear her. Deep down, she's the same girl she once was: awkward, but kind. However, her perception that all women must sexually appealing forces her to try and gain the approval of men any way possible.
Things you personally want to see in the rp: I'm a crazy social critic and could spend years discussing gender roles...so I'd love to see that explored.
Where do you want your character to mentally or physically or emotionally achieve at the end of this rp: Chou needs to realize there's more worth to a person than being attractive.

Well, serious thought of...
-Hair (something from us so we can turn back)
-Maybe a magical herb or something, something with a name of masculinity/feminimity depending on the gender we became
-Water from the spring, since that was the origin of the transgenderation

Katsugi and Jinx
I wanted to explore my sexuality and jinx wanted romance so we can both do that

CoffeeCake and Ariana
I wanted CC to see how hard it is for Ariana to keep up appearance and interests and for Ariana to be ok with not gaining attention from her body and she can feel successful without being coquettish

Quell and Fluffy
For quell to see that isolationism fluffy feels and for fluffy to enjoy being around people.

I'll start up the IC sometime between today and Monday

I've decided the things we will need to get and will be getting together by the way

- each others hair
- hotspring water
- go north to get a frog's heart
- go south to get a sparrows feather
- go east to get dirt from the family graveyard only at night
- go west to get a red stone from the red stone river

We will all be going together and all have to touch each item atleast once

Please make use of NPCs such as teachers, other students, old witch lady, and onsen workers :) we aren't all alone in this roleplay
