Eva hesitated only briefly before sitting down with a small smile. Blushing lightly out of nervousness, she glanced over before deciding to play Open Arms by Journey. As she played, she felt a small smile creep across her face, soon closing her eyes and letting the music move her fingers across the keys.

Finally opening her eye once again, she glanced over at Ellis with a small blush. "My stepdad sang this to my mom on their wedding night. I had to play because they had a last minute cancel," she said with a laugh as she slowly finished and set her hands in her lap.

"Oh, I love Journey!" He said out loud when he realized what song she was playing. Being the oblivious guy he was, he didn't notice her blushing. "Next time you can play Don't Stop Believing and I will sing along horribly," he joked. He smiled at her and put a hand on her shoulder. "You are really good! I don't know why your parents didn't just hire you to begin with!"

Ellis stood up and his stomach let out an audible growl in a low tone. He chuckled a bit, "well I guess I should get some food. I haven't had anything to eat yet today." He offered a hand to help her up. He always felt like he should try and act as a gentleman. Because of his father's business, he was required to go to many formal dinners and was forced to take classes on correct behavior for such events. He ignores most of it because he thinks it is rather silly and outdated, but certain things still stuck with him.

A warm breeze threw Jenna's blonde hair around as she climbed out of the vehicle that had transported her to the Academy. "Thank you for the ride!" She said to the driver as she turned to grab her suitcase and her guitar. There was also a black backpack on her back, holding anything she couldn't fit in her blue suitcase. Once the door was closed the car began to pull away, and Jenna turned around to look at her new school.

This is it...

With a wide smile Jenna marched up to who she recognized to be the principle, politely taking a packet before moving on. She found a place off to the side to study the map, which was located in the back of the packet. A library with a cafe... An actual cafeteria with tons of options... There's the music hall.... Oooh a swimming pool! This place has everything. Now... where are the dorms?

She found the building on her map easily, and started to head off in that direction. After passing through the extravagant lobby Jenna continued through a hallway, eyes flickering all around at everyone. She couldn't help but notice that quite a few of them were dressed in an either fancy get-up or something that made a statement.

Suddenly feeling very under-dressed Jenna glanced down at her own outfit: A baby blue tank top, black shorts, white sneakers and a black beaded necklace. Should've put more effort in this morning, she scolded herself silently, shaking her head. I didn't even curl my hair! Instead, blond strands fell over her shoulders in loose waves.

Jennifer looked up only to realize she had no idea where she was. Damn, I missed my turn. She turned around abruptly, causing another girl to bump into her. "Sorry," she said as the other girl went on her way, hardly even acknowledging the collision. Okay... Okay, just gotta ask for help. There's gotta be someone around here friendly enough to help me out.

That was when she noticed a familiar pair of twins, standing across the hall. She took a few deep breaths, to calm her nerves, and then walked over to Anthony and Tobias Tanaka, and their blue-haired companion (Alyssa). Once she reached them, Jenna put on a friendly smile and cleared her throat to catch their attention. "You're the Tanaka Twins, aren't you?" Jenna asked, pointing to the two. "I've seen you on YouTube. You both really have a lot of talent."

After giving them a moment to reply, Jennifer continued. "I'm Jenna, by the way," She said, holding her hand out for whoever wanted to shake it. "It's nice to meet you all... I'm a little lost, could one of you point me in the direction of the dorms? Sorry."

Antony and Tobias grinned delightedly at Aly and as the three of them walked together they kept the conversation lively, lugging their belongings along behind. Antony offered to carry something for Aly while Tobias navigated them in the general direction of the dormitories. He was about to say that they'd gone too far when an unfamiliar girl approached them. They greeted her with the same sweetheart smiles that they'd greeted Aly with, and Antony-- seizing the opportunity-- put on his best business-like attitude. He cleared his throat and said in as professional a voice as he could manage: "Always happy to meet a fan."

The facade didn't last long because his energy and excitement wouldn't allow him to keep a straight face for very long. "Nice to meet you, Jenna," Tobias chimed in. "You know us," Antony gestured to himself and his twin, "But this is Aly. She's a singer too." He presented the blue-haired girl with all the gentlemanly refinement he could muster.

"Actually," Tobias continued after they'd finished introductions, "We're just heading to the dorms too. Come on, I think they're just down this hallway." In this way, the brothers escorted the two ladies through the beautiful halls of Nightfall. Conveniently, there was a sign pointing them in the right direction, something they'd missed earlier, and they soon found themselves in a long corridor with doors on either side. "This must be it."

Curious, Antony opened the nearest door and peered inside. It was a small room, but still large compared to an average dorm room, seeing as it was a single. In fact, almost all the rooms were singles, and the twins needed to find one of the few available doubles. "Hm, no bunk bed," mused Tobias while Antony explained their situation. "The school granted us an exception, since we're a unit and it would be silly to separate our collective creativity." - "We were allowed a double, but they didn't tell us where it was." - "I hope it's on this floor…" The Tanaka twins looked at each other and then at the corridor once again. There was one or two doors spaced a little further apart than the rest. Pointing them out Tobias said, "Maybe one of those? Where are you ladies going to stay?"

Evangeline felt herself blush lightly as she laughed a bit. She shrugged her shoulders slightly and took his hand, standing up with a smile. "Thanks," she said softly as she let go and headed into the cafe.

Sitting down at a booth, she began looking through the menu as she tilted her head slightly. "I think I want some coffee and some waffles and bacon and toast and eggs," she said before shutting up. "Sorry...I sound like a fat kid," she said with a laugh.

"That's fine! I won't judge. Don't worry!" He said as he looked through the menu himself, "I'll have some toast and eggs." Ellis didn't actually eat very much himself. So he hoped that wouldn't make her feel bad. He sat down while they made their food and tried to think of topics to talk about. He had always stuck with his social group at his previous school so they usually talked about the same things. "So have you read any good books recently?" he asked, realizing it was a pretty random question. He put his arm on the table and propped his head up with his hand and fiddled with his tie with his other hand. It was a habit he had since he always wanted to be doing something with his hands. Between piano, writing, and learning to juggle it had become almost impossible for him to keep his hands still. This is one reason why he loved wearing a tie so much.

Man, she is probably going to think I am really weird because of how I dress and the random habits I have he thought to himself, as he usually did when he met new people. He always tried to be friendly, but always was paranoid that people were secretly judging him.

Evangeline thought for a small moment before nodding slightlh. "Actually yes. I read The Archived on my way here," she had with a wide grin. She wasn't much for reading but she did every now and then to prove to herself that she could. "I don't really read to be honest. I prefer going to concerts and such," she said with a smile. "My first ever concert was Sir-Mix-A-Lot with my grandma who was 56 at the time. I was only 6 years old," she said with a laugh at the thought.

She absentmindedly began fingering Fur Elise on the table, something she always did in order to keep her hands moving. She smiled a bit and perked up. "What about you?"

"Well that's pretty cool. Sounds like you have an awesome grandmother! I am jealous. I have never really done anything like that with any of my family," Ellis said as he scratched the back of his head, "And I actually haven't read anything recently. I am not much of a reader either. I have no idea why I asked that, to be honest." He noticed her playing piano with her fingers but couldn't tell what song it was. "What song are you playing?" he said with a wink, teasing her a bit.

He jokingly began playing Chopsticks with his hands, trying to make it really obvious. "Can you guess what song I am playing?"

As Aly stared at Jenna. She didn't say anything back as she was concentrated on finding her room and getting started. As the four of them started to walk towards the dormitories. She let Anthony carry some her bags while she brought her violin case and her notebook on the other hand while the bag was hanging on her shoulder.

As they arrived towards a certain hallway, She peered inside along with Anthony to see that they were single. Focusing on finding her room, she walked away and searched for her room number. "Found mines...." She answered them from the distance before Tobias could ask them. As looked at door cautiously before opening it widely with a loud thump. She then took the time to stare at the room and found something.

A Pink, giant human sized bunny plushie with a military hat.

"Huh........Huuuuh..." She mused softly and went inside towards the giant bunny and stared at it. Looking around to if anyone was staring, she tackled it towards the floor and snuggled it as she was on top.

Eva found herself laughing lightly at his words and shrugged slightly. "She's like a party in an old person," she said with a wide grin. She looked up at his question and smiled a bit as she looked down at his fingers. After judging them for several moments trying to match up songs and fingerings, she smiled.

"Chopsticks," she said before continuing so he could see. "Take this...and bring it over here," she said as she got up and walked over to the piano, beginning to play the song with a sme.

He chuckled since he knew she would have been able to guess it. He walked over there and listened to her play for a bit before he heard that their food was ready. In that short time he had already forgot about their food. "Oh, I guess we should go eat. I don't think they would appreciate us eating at the piano," He said as he headed back to the table that they were sitting at. He grabbed some butter and a knife from the condiments area before sitting back down.

He began spreading butter on his toast and asked, "so what made you want to go to this school? For me, my home could get pretty lonely so I wanted to go to a school that I could try and make my new home." he realized that he might be getting too deep by saying that, but figured she would understand.

Okay, Melissa thought. Ellis, Evangeline, Tobias, Anthony. She went through the names in her head and matched them with faces. "Well it's very nice to meet you all!" she said cheerily. "I'm gonna go ahead and find my room, but it was nice to meet you all!"

She left with a wave and went on to her room. White walls, a bed, a desk, and a window greeted her. It definitely was a dorm room, but it looked much better than what she had seen on the internet. Already Melissa was making decorative plans in her mind. Pink wallpaper for the walls, a powder-purple vanity stand near the desk. Posters of cute kittens, puppies, and of cute musicians would work nicely as well!

Melissa had just finished unpacking her bags when she heard noise in the hallway. She stood up from her suitcase and opened the door to peer out into the hallway. Two girls were outside talking with...Anthony and Tobias! She remembered them from earlier. "Hey!" she called out to the group. "Looks like we're all on the same floor!"

Whilst the girls each claimed a room, the twins poked around a bit before finding the double at the end of the hallway. It must be theirs. As they lugged their things along, the girl next door poked her head out and greeted them. "Hello again," Tobias grinned, "Look's like we're going to be neighbors. I'll try to make sure my brother here doesn't snore too loud and keep you awake at night."

"Hey!" Antony protested, but he was laughing. He jabbed his thumb at the other, "Well he sings in the shower. Loud, and waaaay too early in the morning." The boys exchanged playful shoves and then hauled their luggage into the room. It wasn't much bigger than the others, the only real difference was that instead of a single bed there was a bunk bed. "Dibs on the top!"

"I wanted the lower bunk anyway."

They wasted little time in unpacking, finding a place for their clothes in the dresser and closet, making the beds, and lastly personalizing the walls of the room with various posters and other memorabilia. While Antony worked on setting up his computer on the desk, Tobias arranged his books and notebooks on a shelf near the bed. Each one was neatly labeled and organized by title.

"I hear they've got a real recording studio for the music students," Antony said excitedly, "we'll make good use of that." Tobias nodded, but his mind was elsewhere. He hoped he could connect with another group of writers and feed off their inspiration. The twins were up for doing collaborative work, and it was part of the reason they decided to come here, and while their stage skills were unmatched they were still faced with the challenge of coming up with new material. They couldn't rely on synthesizers forever. Hopefully they could get connected with a band, or maybe even form one.

"Hey, are you done with that yet? I'm hungry."

"Yeah."

"Let's see if any of those girls want to go too. We can all get something to eat. Maybe try out that little cafe people have been talking about."

Wanting to look a little more like artists than beach bums, they each changed into complimentary outfits. Antony put on a pair of red slim jeans, a white v-neck, a black-checkered scarf, and white Converse. Tobias wore the same, except his jeans were black and the scarf was a red-checkered one. They fixed each others hair and then stood side-by-side in front of the full-length mirror. Other than the difference in clothes, they were a perfect image of each other. Linking arms, they marched back out into the hallway, looking around to see if anyone else wanted to get a bite to eat.

Eva couldn't help but laugh a bit as she got up and followed Ellis back to their seats. She kindly thanked the woman before drowning her waffles in sugar free syrup. "Well music has always been my life and I figured why not come here instead of college. It just kind of fell in place," she said softly, trying not to let her accent show in places she knew it would.

It was one of the biggest secrets she had and she didn't know why. She figured it would save from questions she would have to answer. She blushed lightly and began eating, silently wondering if he had caught the difference in accents.

Melissa laughed as the two twins messed with each other. She moved her hair back away from her shoulder. "Nooo, no it's fine! I'm guilty of singing at random times too." she giggled lightly.

The twins went into their rooms, and Melissa wandered around the hallway aimlessly. As she walked, she happened to see another dorm room open. She peered into it, but saw a girl clinging tightly to a life sized plushy. Oh, whoops! She probably was asleep. Melissa grabbed the door and shut it for her, thinking that would stop the hallway noise from bothering her. "I'm gonna have to ask her about that plush toy later on..." she spoke to herself. @.CandidFox.

The bouncy haired girl turned back, walking towards Tobias and Anthony's room, where they were already walking out together. "Already have a buddy system started?" Melissa smiled as she approached them.

Ellis had noticed a change in her voice. He couldn't quite tell what accent it was though. "You have an accent. What is it? I can't quite tell!" He didn't realize she was trying to hide it and instead just figured it had been fading away from living in the United States or something. He made a sort of sandwich with his eggs and toast and chose to eat it that way.

@Aleczandrya

(Meh. Sorry for the crap post XD A bit busy but wanted to get something down)

Eva mentally cursed herself for letting it show and sighed softly as she closed her eyes. She took another bite of her toast before looking up at him. Once she swallowed her food, she let out a small sigh. "Argentine. I was born there. Buenos Aires to be exact," she said, finally letting her full Spanish accent to show itself. "Yo prefiero ocultarlo ella para evitar preguntas (I prefer to hide it to avoid questions)," she added fluently with a small laugh. "Pido disculpas (I apologize)."

"Melissa!" the twins waved and welcomed her over. "We're always together," Antony explained, throwing his arm around Tobias, "The inseparable Tanaka Twins, ha!" he grinned and threw up a peace-sign. "You know what they say, two are better than one," Tobias chimed in, also making a peace-sign. "Just like a double shot of espresso is better than a single shot, now you've got twice the energy!"

"Hey," they split and stood one on either side of the girl, "We're going to check out that little café, see what it has to offer, want to come?"

"I'm sure their tea isn't anywhere as good as real English tea," Tobias mused, thinking back to their home in London, "But Americans are pretty good at making coffee I guess."

They started walking back down the hallway, chattering back and forth the whole time to each other and Melissa. Tobias adjusted his scarf and then tapped his lip thoughtfully with a finger. "I wonder what sorts of clubs this school has. We should look into that, I bet they have one for vocalists."

"Or we could start our own," suggested Antony, "Just a social club everyone could go to. We could throw parties and let people show off their talents if they want. The singers can sing, the poets and writers can do live readings, maybe the artists could do speed painting or something, it would be fun!"

Tobias laughed, "Of course, any excuse to have a party. But maybe it could extend to social outings too, and we could get groups together to go to theatre plays or concerts. I mean, maybe the school has something like that already but it would be fun to look into."

"What do you think, Melissa? What kind of club would you join?"

Melissa laughed at the two. "Can't argue with you there. I like espresso in my coffee!" she grinned as she said that.

Speaking of coffee, the cafe idea sounded nice. A nice, sweet drink with a hot sandwich sounded amazing. It was just the thing she needed after a long trip to the Academy. She looked to both brothers and nodded. "Sure! That'd be nice!" she said. Melissa then turned to Tobias with a shrug. "I wouldn't really know about the tea. I only drink lemon or iced tea... but Starbucks coffee is really good!" Melissa giggled.

As they walked, Melissa took chances to look around where they were. The Academy had a lot to take in. It almost reminded Melissa of walking around a mall. She sighed happily as she looked at the ceiling. In her distraction, Melissa didn't realize she was beginning to walk diagonally, and bumped right into Tobias. "Ah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Melissa squeaked. This did however bring the question Anthony asked to her attention.

"Hmm..." she began. "I think I'd join a performer's club! If musicians, writers or actors wanted to practice their stage presence or something, then that's the club they could go to!" Melissa nodded, thinking it was a good idea. "Though, your social club idea sounds really good! I'd join that too!"

After she waited for them to leave, Aly sat up straight on the plushie's lap and grabbed her violin and strum a few notes. She nodded in satisfaction at her tune and started playing country music. Of course, it was one of her most favorite genres when it comes to playing it in her violin. It made her feel. . . happy for some reason. Aly then stood up and danced around the room in bliss before reminding herself to lock the door and continue.
