ARCHIVES:

When threads go a long time without activity (that amount of time varies depending on the forum the thread is in), they will wind up in the archives. Safe-for-work threads go to the Thread Archives section while not-safe-for-work threads go to the Star Graveyard.

The (Optional) Roadmap
For those who like a step-by-step starting guide, here's the order of operations that I'd recommend:

1. Customize your profile and fill out your roleplay preferences through account details (which you can find by clicking on your username at the top of the webpage)

2. Go to the new arrivals forum and introduce yourself

3. Acquaint yourself with Iwaku's rules and check out the various resources listed above

4. Acquaint yourself with the site layout

5. Make a partner search thread in the partner and/or the redstar or bluestar connections forums to start attracting partners

6. Browse other partner searches to see if any current members share your interests

7. If you enjoy group roleplays, check out the the original group rp or the fandom original group rp signups and/or the redstar group or bluestar group connections to see if there are any open group roleplays that interest you

8. Check out the general chatting and events sections to get more involved with the Iwaku community
