I'd say, go ahead and offer up all of your characters. If you check out my 1x1 request in my sig, I have a pretty big (and growing) list of characters I offer from a variety of settings. You can play them all from one account, as well! Some might be more popular than others, but sometimes all it takes for a community to pick up on a genre different from its norm is someone to offer that different genre.

If you're worried about getting confused, you can make yourself a pasteable post format for each character. Often, people use the Characters gallery (you can find it at the top) to upload character profiles, but some people also use the Iwaku blogs or link to external sites, like charahub, toyhou.se, litphoria, or f-list—the latter two feature adult content prominently in character profile creation, so use with caution.

Also, what kind of roleplay is it? Is it something for multiple people to play in, or just you and one other person? For groups, try posting in the Interest Checks forum to see if anyone is interested in joining. If you want to play one-on-one in your roleplay, you should advertise it in the Seeking One on One Partners forum. Both of these are in the third section if you scroll down on the main page, and when you're ready to make the in-character thread, look just one section lower! =)

Honestly, I don't really have a limit to the number of people inside a roleplay. I would like to rp with more than three, but I don't mind roleplaying with less; onexones are okay too!

Right now, I'm stuck with the mobile version of the site, so the forum threads are preferred.

I still don't really understand what a clan is, and I have difficulty with coding as well, but I think that with time and some tutorials I'll get the hand of it. This site is a lot different from the one I came from, so the many forums are also confusing to me. Thought, I already learned how to change my profile, and a few other quirks regarding posting.
