Spiritual Abilites:
Tenjō-kai Tsukisasu (Heavenly Spear)
- This allows him to manipulate his own spiritual energy to materialize a spear in his hand. In other words, this is the only weapon he can truly manifest physically. He can also manipulate it to make it none-physical, allowing it to go through objects. He can decide on a whim to make it physical or not. However, whenever he does, he loses small amounts of his own reiatsu. He likes to call his spear Suiryoku, rather than using its true name.
Kiryoku Guntō (Spirit Blades) - Beside his Suiryoku. He is able to manifest none-physical blades through his spiritual energy. Having two short dagger-length blades in his hand. They are quite fragile, and easily breakable, and can be manifested again if the first pair is broken or rendered useless. This doesn't use much of his reiatsu, but excessive use of this ability will drain him, exhaust him increasingly fast.
Seirei Gekika (Spirit Boost) - He has the ability to manipulate his own spiritual energy, any part of his body, or even his entire body. He can for example, focus his spiritual energy only from his legs and down to his feets, allowing him to jump higher than normal, much higher, and from a building to another, for example. He can manipulate it to also give his entire body a burst of energy, amplifying it to increase his reflexes and speed. This is only momentary, and is usually used to get to a place, or catch someone.

Akira is quite cheerful and kind. He is also very curious about the world he is now a part of. He can also tend to make silly jokes to lighten up the mood. If anything, he dislikes people who are condescending, no matter who they are. He is quite helpful and would try to do his best to keep someone safe, or do something that'll benefit them positively..
History:
Akira is an High Schooler, in his second year, living his life like any other Human out there. However, at the age of seven, he was able to see strange entities swirling about and around the World of the Living. Although he was curious he was just a young kid, who from time to time, pointed towards the sky, especially around his parents so they could notice what he could. Obviously, they couldn't but at the same time, they took it as Akira wanting attention, which is something he had plentiful of. He has a younger sister, but she is not like, or atleast, he doesn't know about it. As time flew by, and as he grew to becoming used to that, he pretty much ignored it, so he wouldn't be the odd one out amongst his friends.
During his time as a Middle Schooler, he ended up stumbling upon a Hollow, attacking a couple in a park. To him, that was terrifying. He had seen creatures like that before but never anything as fearful as that. In shock and panic, he fell down on the ground, that's also when the Hollow noticed him, and knew that Akira could see it. Ignoring the couple it came straight for him, growling like the monster it is. That's when two blue like arrows pierced the creature through its head, and the neck, rendering it useless.
The figure that stood before Akira was none other than a Quincy, who, in the end was extremely cool in his eyes. A hero who was there at the right time. This Quincy was named Hota Sayukiwara, and was in his late thirties. It was also the Quincy who told Akira that he was special, and the reason behind why he could see Shinigami, Hollows and other otherwordly entities. With time, Hota Sayukiwara took Akira under his wings, because, lets face it. Akira wanted to become a hero, just like him, and especially when he found out that he was capable to make a difference.
Hota Sayukiwara was a kind man and very patient. He ended up teaching Akira about how the World truly works. That there are Shinigami out there, and what their purpose was, and what the Hollows truly are, and even the story about the Quincies. Unfortunately, Akira was none of the above, but definetely not one of the Hollows, but due to his spiritual energy, and the fact that it made him special, could be enough to protect the humans.
Akira was eager to actually make a difference, and therefore pestered Hota Sayukiwara countless of times in order for him to be at least close to what a Quincy is. Luckily, the latter succumbed to his request, which eventually led to a special suit made for Akira, so he could use it during a battle, if it ever did come to that in the future. Taking no chances, Hota was able to learn that if anything, Akira was similar to a Quincy in one certain way. He could manipulate reishi, or more precisely his own spiritual energy. With that, he went through countless of session in combat training, and even history. If anything, in order to truly become a part of the "hidden" World, he had to learn the ins and outs of it as well, and not only Combat, but also knowledge.
A few years passed and Akira was used to his abilities, or what he could at least do. He event went to a few actual battles alongside Hota Sayukiwara, who pushed the former to his limits. During the time he spent with his mentor and sensei, he wanted to also learn about the Shinigami, but there was really not much to tell, not from his sensei's point of view. However, Akira enjoyed knowing he could help people in need. Time passed again and he enrolled into the High School, and that was also when his teacher, Hota Sayukiwara left, leaving a note for Akira at their usual meeting spot.
A year had passed since the Quincy, his mentor and teacher had left, leaving that one particular note. Akira was in his second year now, and was used to his new life but always felt the need to be out there, in the field as well. He wanted to meet people like the Shinigami, and see Soul Society. Curious was all around in his mind. Even then, he decided to only do it when neccessary. Akira's training was never finished, his sensei left in the middle of it. The reasons where also curious, but it was not something Akira could dwelve upon and leave everything else behind.
Despite his hope to see his mentor again, Akira always felt eager enough to just patrol about, like how a Shinigami is suppose to and help humans in need.
