Zanpakuto sealed Abilities: None in particular, although the design of both the weapon and sheathe were made to be light in weight and faster to draw and attack with as a result.
"Strike down with a heavenly wrath, Sukai no Omo"
Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities: For starters the Shikai's 'blade' possesses a far longer range than in its sealed form, the chain measuring to about 2 meters long from the hilt to the tip. In addition, the chain that makes up the whip generates a superconductive electrical current running from the hilt to the last link in the chain. Any unfortunate soul who gets struck by this whip will not only feel the bruises of getting beaten with a chain, but the electrical shock of a livewire as well. In addition to this, when the electricity is charged up the Shikai will be able to send bolts of electricity as projectiles. But, of course, the whip is not quite as durable as the sword, and the chain can be broken off as a result. Once the chain breaks, the electric current will vanish.
Zanpakuto Bankai Abilities: While it CAN be used instantly, Hiyoko prefers activating her Bankai via the destruction of her Shikai. Upon activation, the links in her chain whip severs and floats in the air, an electrical charge coming out from her body magnetizes the air as they become formless globs of liquid metal. Upon doing this, the globs all come back towards her and come together around her, forming armor in the representation of a blue dragon, as well as a broadsword in her hands. In this form, she has a far more effective amount of power, as well as a durable defence. The armor makes her bulkier, so her speed isn't nearly as great as it is without it, and she's completely unable to perform a flash step as a result. However, the real kicker is that her armor acts as a giant electrical conductor, capable of charging and discharging electrical energy to respectively either boost her up or use offensively against opponents either by focusing that energy on her sword, or by firing it outright from her hand or the long dreadlocks behind her. Also, despite her decrease in speed, she is still faster on her feet then that armor makes her look. However, this armor is far from impregnable, and the electrical power has its weakness.
Hado- Byakurai: Hiyoko gathers high-density spiritual energy, and points at the intended target with their index finger and generates a concentrated bolt of lighting to use against the target. It does not take long to fire this hado, however, the amount of damage it brings is decent at best.
Hado- Jugeki Byakurai: A modified version of Byakurai. Unlike its unmodified counterpart, this spell takes the appearance of a red beam powerful enough to pierce through a durable foe, from a considerable distance. However, as one might expect, it takes much longer to charge the energy for, and therefore takes longer to fire with.
Hado- Tsuzuri Raiden: Hiyoko generates an electric current through any object they touch, which damages anything or anyone which is in contact with the object the current runs through.
Hado- Raikoho: Generating an orb of yellow lighting above the palm of his/her hand, the practitioner fires the built-up energy at his/her target as a massive concentration of energy which resembles a lightning strike.
Hado- Hiryu Gekizoku Shinten Raiho: A high-level Hadō which only Kidō masters can use. The practitioner raises her arm forward and outstretched, occasionally using their free hand to grip the firing arm for extra support, with the palm facing flat toward the target, and fires a gigantic beam of electrical and spiritual energy, which creates an enormous explosion upon impact. It has no incantation, but the charge up takes longer then even the Jugeki Byakurai, and the end result of its use utterly drains Hiyoko.
Bakudo- Tsuriboshi: Creates a ball of blue energy which fires out six ropes from its center. As the ropes attach themselves to nearby sturdy objects, the energy in the center solidifies into a flat elastic-like cushion, which catches falling objects.
Bakudo- Danku: A defensive wall is created to protect against an enemy's attack. Hiyoko creates a translucent barrier in the form of a large rectangular wall. While incredibly powerful, a strong enough attack can break it down and destroy it.
Bakudo- Kyomon: This technique erects a transparent barrier that extends from one side of an opening to the other. It is used to protect the target by preventing intruders from passing through it. It is usually used to cover the entrance of a room with the target inside it. However, this barrier is much more easily broken from the inside if the target chooses to leave confinement.
Bakudo- Horin: Using their index and middle fingers, the practitioner generates an orange-hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns, which ensnares and immobilizes the opponent as the tendril wraps around their body. The end of it remains in the hands of Hiyoko, allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The tendril can connect with another one of itself, if both have captured a target, and bind them together. If the reiatsu is strong enough, the captured is able to break out of this.
Bakudo- Enkosen: Using either both hands or his/her Zanpakutō in a blocking motion, the practitioner generates a dull yellow energy, which takes the form of a large spinning disk of condensed Reiatsu, in front of themselves, blocking an opponent's attack. Much like other barriers, a strong enough attack can shatter it.
Flash Step: Like many captains among the Gotei 13, Hiyoko is very much capable of the Flash Step ability, often using this speed first and foremost when battling against an opponent.
Kido Master: As one might expect from the number of Kido she possesses, much like the 4th captain, Hiyoko is a masterfully skilled user of Kido. However dependance on those spells have been rather...negatively consequential on her body and soul. As such, she tends to only use Kido when the need absolutely demands it.
Master Swordswoman: As a captain, there are two things Hiyoko is reknown for: Her usage of Kido, and her skill with the sword. While she uses her Kido as her method of protection in attack/defense style of use, her Zampakuto is used when its demanded for someone or something to be ultimately neutralized. Her style of swordplay derives inspiration from Japan's Iaijutsu, making use of her zampakuto's peculiar shape to allow her to quickly draw it from its sheathe. While the original style was designed for quick counter-attacks, Hiyoko continues after the surprise in a chain of quick powerful attacks in succession. However, in exchange for the speed of her style, she leaves herself open for strikes against her, not having much defence in mind.
Whip Master: Mastering the art of the sword is one thing. Every captain within the Gotei 13 can boast just as much skill with a sword as she does, if not more so. However, in addition to the sword, Hiyoko has also mastered the Whip, which is the form of her Shikai. While not quite as effective as the sword, and not knowing any real styles of how to use one in combat, Hiyoko uses the whip's range, light weight, and flexibility to her advantage. However, while still quick on her feet, she must sacrifice a bit of her speed in order to use the whip properly, as it relies less on quick rapid attack, and more on strategy. She does try to think more defensively however in order to compensate, but even that must take strategy to attain since its flexible nature won't hold back a sword's slash on its own.
Personality: At her best, a kind and caring leader with a fascination for the human world. At her worst, a well-intentioned extremist that, once serious in a fight, shows no mercy. Hiyoko is said to be one of the most gentle and kind souls among this generation of the Soul Society. Being formerly a seated member of the 4th Division before her transfer to 13th, Hiyoko has a habit of helping the wounded get nursed back to health at 4th division's area. However her larger habit by far is her curiosity and interest in the world of the humans, which is why she came to 13th in the first place. She is kind and respectable towards her peers, and shows a motherly care for her division.
However, once she's in a serious fight she can't back out from, her demeanor changes from a motherly individual, to an arrogant and ruthless warrior looking to put her opponent in their place and end the fight as soon as she possibly can.
Background: Before she was a Captain, Hiyoko was a normal human soul. She forgot how long its been since she died, but she does remember how she got into the Soul Society, a day she will never be able to forget. After she died, she had a soul chain connected to a man that she knew in her life, perhaps her brother, maybe a lover-turned-widow now, she can't quite remember anymore. But one day, doing her observation of this man, a hollow was about to attack and devour her when, all of a sudden, a Shinigami appeared and destroyed it before it had a chance to do so. Immediately afterwards, upon judging the woman deeds both good and ill, she was proven as worthy and became a part of the Soul Society.
At first, she was a resident of Rukongi, a far-shot away from the heavenly afterlife she was expecting, but she lived with it for a few years. It was around this time that she learned that anyone might be able to become a a shinigami like the one who saved her soul that day. All she had to do was spend a few years in the Academy then join the Gotei 13, the 13 divisions of Shinigami that protects both the Earth and the Soul Society.
Wanting to help, perhaps as a way to repay them for saving her, she chose to enter the academy, and become a Shinigami. Sure enough, while certainly not with flying colors, she graduated the Academy and, at first, became a member of 4th division under Captain Kurenai, due to her particular skill of Kido. However, while she was a gifted learner of physical methods of healing and first aid, she was not able to learn a single Kaido spell despite her many attempts. As such, she was transferred from 4th to 13th division at her own request, upon learning that they are essentially the earth patrol division.
From there on she became a seated member of 13th Division where she stayed for many years. She often patrolled the city of Karakura town, protecting people and spirits alike from the Hollows. After some time has passed, however, she was learning more and more about Kido and her zampakuto, and started going from seat to seat until eventually reaching the 3rd seat of 13th division.
She remained in that seat for some time until the 13th Captain decided to retire from the Gotei 13, and grant the position to someone else, after a tragic incident where the previous lieutenant died while on patrol. Seeing Hiyoko's talent throughout the years spent in his squad, the captain decided to train her so that she may pass the Captain exam and take his place. To do this, they spent his last days as captain training her to be able to use Bankai.
Eventually after quite some time, she qualified for the Captain's exam with at least 3 captains, among them being her about-to-retire Captain, and at her request, 4th Captain Shizuka Kurenai, likely to show her how far she's come from the beginner she was in Shizuka's division. She released her Bankai without much trouble, and as a result, passed the exam, becoming her Captain's replacement as he retired in peace.
Ever since, she has been a caring captain to her unit, immediately promoting a lieutenant upon her own promotion, giving it to someone she befriended during her time as a seated Shinigami.

Accessory: The Lieutenant badge on his right arm, but in addition, he hides beneath his uniform the Onmitsukido uniform beneath his own, as a former member's form of respect for the force.

Zanpakuto sealed Abilities: Besides the trick that his sword can split in half to give him two swords, none in particular.
"Breathe, Fuyu no kyu purinsu"
Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities: The two ice blades in his hands both let out a breath of freezing cold air around them, resulting in a drastic decrease in the temperature around the blades, which somehow results in letting out crystal particles, in the form of snowflakes, from the blade itself. Even if the blade doesn't hit its mark, the air around the blade with decrease the temperature of whatever it gets close to, and the 'snowflakes' touching any target would result in a painful chill and frost around wherever he strikes. If the blade itself touches the area in question, said area will freeze over completely. Although it will not spread across the entirety of the target, the area of the targets he strikes, a limb for example, will freeze over and be unusable until the ice thaws.
The weakness, obviously enough, is intense levels of heat. The blade will still be incredibly cold even in the heat, but it will no longer have the cold air or snow around it, and of course a being of intense heat would thaw out the wounds he makes much faster than a normal being.
Bakudo: Sekienton- As the practitioner places the palms of their hands down on the ground, red smoke bursts forth from the point of contact, swiftly engulfing the surrounding area and briefly obscuring the movements of whomever is within the smoke, allowing for a quick getaway.
Hado: Tsuzuri Raiden- The practitioner generates an electric current through any object they touch, which damages anything or anyone which is in contact with the object the current runs through.
Skilled Swordsman: While he can't call himself a master of the sword, he is still a swordsman of amazing talent. The style of which he fights is one that is more focused on accuracy and speed rather than strength or defence. Of course said accuracy in his strikes is far from perfect, as he hasn't quite mastered the style as of yet.
High foot speed: While he lacks the Flash step technique that the captains all possess, Makoto is a quick one on his feet, capable of running through the Seireitei in a matter of minutes, half-hour at most to run from one end to another, making him able to keep up with his speed-reputed Captain. However, such footwork can be quite exhausting for him, and enough running will eventually result in him needing to stop to catch his breath.
Master of Stealth: His central talent is how good he is in the art of Stealth. As a former member of Onmitsukido, Makoto was a gifted master of the ninja way. When the task is needed to do so, he has no problems doing whatever it takes to make him invisible by any means necessary. It's not perfect, mind you, nothing really is when one must also factor a bit of luck into the task. If he cannot find any means to be completely invisible then he must try to be as discreet as he possibly can, even if it means disguising himself as someone else. Even so, he does have a tendency to factor the possibility of error, and respond accordingly.
Personality: Much like his captain, Makoto is also a very quiet type, stoic in nature. However, unlike his captain who is like this out of politeness and thoughtfulness, Makoto's reason is due to just being Anti-Social. Being raised to be a member of Onmisukido's first branch essentially stole his childhood from him, and by the time he made for the first time within the branch, he witnessed their death at the hands of and betrayal against the Omnitsukido. As such, he feels he cannot place his trust in anyone but himself, even his captain he is obeying purely out of loyalty to the division.
Despite this, he does has a sense of honor and protection to him, which is why he left such a cold hearted force to begin with. He will help out his fellow Shinigami in a pinch without a second thought, and will follow the Captain's orders to a dime.
Background: Makoto was a soul born in Inazuri district of Rukongai; a son of a member of the Onmitsukido. As such, when he was young, Makoto was raised by his father to be a member of the Executive militia like him. His childhood has been spent enduring his father's harsh training and lessons in secret, and so had no real interaction with others until he grew into being a member at the Physical age of 16. He wasn't the most talented, but he was an incredibly decent member among the militia.
However, The Onmitsukido's first branch is a rather brutal and heartless place. What friendships he had upon entering severed after some time, need it be through assassinating said friends for whatever reason, or said friends being backstabbed or backstabbing him in order to get their job done.
Tired of the cruelty that he was forced to witness and sometimes experience, he left the Onmitsukido and transfer to the 5th Division. From there, he rose quite quickly across the seats until eventually becoming Lieutenant of the 5th division.
Name: (Professor) William Lososol
Age: Physically in his late 40s
Aspect of Death: Regret
Animal Aspect: Scorpion
Appearance: Despite being an Espada, he actually looks quite small and scrawny. Standing at about 3'11" and weighing in at 130 lbs, this tanned individual is dressed in rather normal espada uniform (Well, normal compared to everyone elses') part of which is a white coat he uses as a lab coat. He has medium-length brown hair he lets loose in the back and tidy at the front. While he covers them from sight with his tinted orange glasses, his eyes are a golden color.
Tattoo: The two digits are on both of his forearms, the 1 tattoo on his right arm, and the 0 on his left. It would be easy to confuse him as Primera if they just look at his right arm, but would reveal the true number when placing his two arms together.
Mask: The lower jaw is covered in a teethless mask. Two horn protrusions from the mask curves outward like an Insect. When in contemplation he likes to stroke the center or one of the two horns to the side.
Resurrection Appearance: He seems to still be humanoid, albeit slightly taller than his normal self, and his entire body appears to be covered in a white exoskeleton, small insect-like appendages on his tordo going down both sides of the abdomen. The white lab coat he had on before now has holes in it and serves as a cape, underneath which lies his spear now turned into a Scorpion's tail. The tip of the tail now has splitted into three points instead of one, making the tail look much like a Trident. Finally, his mask almost completely comes back, completely covering his mouth area while the upper half is covered in a visor-like part of the mask, making the mask itself look more like a helmet.
Sealed Abilities: As a Spear, Girasol Escorpion has very good range, but at the cost of close-ranged advantages.

Resurrection Abilities: In addition to his increased strength and speed, his spear now used effectively as his tail, and the exoskeleton giving him a durable defense, the Resurricion's main ability is the sun. Essentially, his resurrection is solar-powered, the more direct sunlight he takes into his body, the stronger he becomes, the more dangerous a foe he is to his adversaries.
However, this comes with its own disadvantages: if the direct sunlight is interrupted, need it be by shadows, or clouds, or being in a realm like Hueco Mondo where there simply is no sun, he would be cut off from his power supply and essentially drain and weaken himself instead. As an Espada he IS still powerful even outside of sunlight, but he'd be nowhere near as strong as if he was in it.
Cero: Like all the other Arrancar, Lososol has the ability to fire a typical red Cero, firing it from the palm of one of his hands.
Gran-Ray Cero: Like all the other Espada-class Arrancar, he is also able to fire the superior gran-ray Cero as well. By combining two ceroes he forms with both of his hands into one, he creates a bigger Gran-Ray Cero to fire upon targets with.
Bala: Yet another common ability of the Arrancar and Espada alike, he is able to fire the weaker but faster spirit bullets from his fingers. In Lososol's case he doesn't rely on this ability as anything offensive, but simply as a distraction or a diversion used for the need of a retreat or buying time.
Hierro: While not quite as good as other Espada higher than him, he still possesses a durable Hierro that's capable of blocking most normal attacks from a Zanpakuto or deflect weaker quincy arrows.
Genius Intellect: What the professor lacks in sheer power or speed, he makes up for in his intelligence. He uses this both for the purpose of coming up with creations and research making him useful as someone who can help improve his superiors with his inventions and thinking, and for strategizing against the enemy, often thinking up plans to completion before acting on them. Even among the Espada, it is difficult if not impossible to out-think the Professor. However his intelligence is not perfect, and while he strives to be omniscient, he is nowhere near that level just yet. There are still things he does not know, and as such, it is possible to create factors that he does not, and can not account for in his research as well as his tactics.
(Translation: He's super-smart, but he's not all-knowing. He does not know anything that is meant to not be known about until he learns about it, If that makes any sense. As such, while Out-thinking him is next to impossible, You CAN catch him off-guard with a properly hidden Ace-in-the-hole.)
Personality: A scientist through and through would be the quick explanation of his personality. He is a very intelligent Arrancar that has little care for the situation around him involving his fellow Espada. So little, in fact, that he prefers to be isolated away from them, taking his lab to the Menos forest far away from Las Noches where he can conduct his research and experiments in peace. He does not have a high opinion of his fellow Espada either, finding most of them to be a bunch of meat-headed imbeciles who think of nothing but power and strength. The only ones he takes exception to and has respect for is the Queen who has allowed him to leave as well as her own sense of intelligence, Aikuku due to being about the closest thing among the Espada that Lososol can relate to, and Vash for being such an interesting Espada to work with.
Speaking of Aikuku, Lososol has a great respect for those who are ultimately intelligent, regardless of if they are Espada, Arrancar, or even if they are Quincy or Shinigami. However, unusually enough, he has no sense of bitter or pettiness regarding what he knows and doesn't know, and so he doesn't feel mocked or disrespected when they know something he doesn't or creates something better than his own creations. In fact, he oddly seems to get off on other people showing off things he knows nothing about. Condescension, on the other hand, is a nerve to strike to get on his bad side. Treating him like an idiot greatly annoys him makes him want to show off what he can do as a result.
Lososol's central goal has nothing to do with the war between the hollows, Quincy, or Shinigami. The entirity of the Espada, him excluded of course, could be killed off and Hueco Mondo obliterated, and he would not care any less. His goal has always been, and always will be, achieving omniscience. His one wish is to become all-knowing, and for that reason, he will continue working, creating, and researching for all of eternity if that's what it takes. Everything that is beyond his intelligence, anything that he does not know anything about, he sees as yet another thing to learn about, yet another thing to be inspired and awe-struck by, yet another lesson to ingrain into his mind.
It's for these reason that he represent the aspect of "Regret". Everyone and everything that dies has had regret for what they have done or have not yet done with their lives. "How could I die?" "Why did I die?" "What did I do Wrong?" "What could have been done differently?" "Why did I do this?" "Why couldn't I have done that?" From regret spawns a myriad of questions such as these, some of which may be impossible to answer. But Lososol strives to do so, all the same. However, Omniscience is an impossibility, one simply cannot know everything there is to know, and so he himself is cursed, doomed to die with a lingering regret forever in his heart.
Creation Story: From what he remembers, Lososol was once a teacher, a college professor at a university in the states, his majors being of a majority of the sciences, including chemistry and physics. He doesn't quite remember how he became this position, what his childhood was like, nor what his family and friends were like. The only thing he could remember was his work as a professor, his desire for as long as he could remember to teach and be taught, and the sheer bliss that his occupation gave him.
He doesn't quite remember how he died, and doesn't believe its anything particularly special either, but he does remember what it was like as a Plus, a Jibakurei more specifically, the chains of fate connecting him to his university. His one ultimate regret was not teaching everything he knew to as many people as he could, and that he could not learn for himself anymore about the world than he already had. All day and all night he wandered the halls, watching the students and professor going about their lives, and he did this for as long as he could remember, the actual length of time being completely unknown to him. However, what was known was that no Shinigami came for him, but a Hollow did. The Professor was devoured by the hollow, and became one himself.
Despite being a creature of pure instinct, it seemed to have been gifted with his intelligence when he was alive, was probably what kept him in Hollow form this whole time, able to outwit any shinigami that came his way. Eventually, however there was a gathering of Hollows devouring each other near where he was, and being a hollow himself, he joined it against the will of his soul. Eventually they feasted upon each other en masse, until eventually coming together to form a Gillian Menos.
He did not know what caused him to be the one controlling the Gillian, perhaps it was the intelligence of his hollow, perhaps it's the strength of will plus the intelligence made manifest in his mind, but either way, he finally had control of himself as he was again and while he could not do much as a Gillian, he began to instinctively devour other Gillian absorbing more hollow energy into himself, until eventually he became an Adjuchas in the form of a humanoid scorpion.
While not the most powerful amidst the blackened sky of Hueco Mondo, He was able to keep his reasoning and intelligence, making him able to adapt to his environment and survive, using tricks and strategy to overpower his opponents.
However, throughout all of it, the thought of becoming an Arrancar, or breaking off his mask, had not occured to him until he saw one in action for himself. The sheer power of an Arrancar seemed beyond anything he's seen as a hollow, and with his intellect merged with that kind of power, he felt he had the potential to become far more than simply a scorpion of ivory. Driving himself without hesistation , he broke off the mask that made him the monster he is, and at long last, he came full circle, regaining a human form, a new spear in his hands.
Even so, he was still in the middle of an eternally dark desert filled with Menos that are powerful. Even with his power as an Arrancar, it was not enough alone to keep him alive in such an environment. He had to rely on his wit to survive, and this intelligence was ultimately what gave him the attention of the Primera, the queen of this land. Though he was weaker as an Arrancar than others at her side, he was still powerful and intelligent to join the ranks of the best, if only at their bottom, effective becoming Espada Decena, the 10th Espada.
For a while, he has lived in Las Noches with the other Espada, spending his time in his lab to work on questions and contemplation he's been thinking of ever since walking this deserted world of Hueco Mondo. He was there when the previous head-captain met his end, and it was during this time he met two...unexpected accomplices to his goals and becoming an accomplice to theirs in turn. However, eventually he came to realize that a majority of the people he lived with were either unintelligent brutes that disturbed his peace, or those who were intelligent but seemed to exist solely for the purpose of disrupting his work. Tired of being without some peace and quiet, he left Las Noches, deciding to move the entirety of his lab literally torn from Las Noches and placing it under the sands of the deserts beneath the forest of Menos. Not only did this place provide him with peace and quiet, backed by the Adjuchas' loyalty to Espada here, but also with plenty of lab rats from the surface to conduct any experiments that were needed.
Currently, he is at his Lab, Always in his lab, rarely ever leaving for anything yet keeping tabs on any and every member of the Espada. He has every intention to spend the rest of his days, the remainder of his life, trying to discover and research new things to learn and teach to others.

Cero: Like other arrancar, Taichi is capable of using Cero, firing a sky-blue Cero out of his mouth after taking a deep breath in concentration.
While he was Capable of Gran-Ray Cero in the past, it seems he forgot how to use it, or rather, CAN'T use it anymore in his current state.
Sonido: While not a master of the technique, he is quite an experienced user of Sonido, nowadays using it to seemingly disappear and reappear out of nowhere in front of humans while finding a place to sleep.
Hierro: Although weaker as his is in his current state, Tai possesses Hierro that protects him from both Zampakuto and spirit arrows alike.
Name: Yosuke "Sky" Tanaka
Accessory: The trenchcoat he has on him at all times, and the quincy cross he hangs around his neck.
Bow Abilities: Though it could hardly be called a bow, that, in itself, gives an advantage to Yosuke's choice. It serves as both a sword, and a double-sided naginata for close-range combat. As a bow, it can only fire one arrow at a time, and inflexible nature of the bow makes it very difficult to pull back in preparation. However, while it takes much longer than usual to fire an arrow, the kinetic force from firing said arrow gives it calibur about the same as a bullet, giving it a fast travel speed from bow to target, and very good piercing power. The rate of fire, however, combined with the amount of strain needed to pull the arrow back makes it something of a Glass cannon, giving negative effects on the user's body.
