Hello fellow Iwakian!
March is (eventually) the start of spring, and spring is a time of new beginnings! In that spirit, I thought of a fun little exercise to try:
Take one of your old writing pieces and re-write it with an entirely new beginning. You can change the setting, the event, the characters, whatever! The change may lead you to some interesting places. Additionally, depending on the age of the piece, it will likely show you how much you've improved as a writer over time.
If you want an even bigger challenge, try replacing your first line with something from this opening line generator. Feel free to replace names as needed.
When you finish, why don't you post the original and the new one down below for others to admire your work?
