"Love?" Hunter muttered again. Didn't I already explain to him what 'love' is? Guess I remembered wrong.
To Hunter at least, the word 'love' had so many different meanings, making it extremely hard for him to explain to Dustin. To make it worse, the abundance of definitions were also very difficult for him to explain using only words. In his mind, there was only 'one' possible way to explain what 'love' was in this particular context.
Without warning, Hunter hugged Dustin tightly and buried his face into the latter's shoulder for a few seconds, before Hunter lifted his head a little so that his lips were near Dustin's ears. "Love is a very strange word," Hunter began whispering into Dustin's ears, "Everyone tosses that word around. yet when it came to defining it using only words, everyone has their own interpretation of the word, although they're all quite similar."
"For me," Hunter then moved his focus onto Dustin's neck, before breathing on it slightly, "I think love for someone begins when you actually begin to care for someone a lot more than usual. By that I mean...it gets to the point that if that person you love gets hurt, you begin to bash yourself for it, since it would feel like if you were there earlier, they wouldn't be so hurt."
Hunter chuckled again and paused his explanation for a bit, before continuing. "To be honest, the reason why that's my definition of 'love' is simply because...I actually don't really care for anyone. I know, that's an awful trait I have I know I know...but there's a long story behind it...B-But that's besides the point I'm trying to make. What I am trying to say is that...I care a lot about you. I care way too much about you. Way too much."
Straight after his long-winded speech, Hunter let his lips touch Dustin's neck. A couple of seconds later, Hunter kissed that particular spot on the neck a lot harder, only realising then that it was going to hurt Dustin a lot. "S-Sorry," Hunter pulled away slightly and blushed a little. "I got a bit carried away I guess. Just saw an opportunity to show you how to give someone a proper hickey..."
