Welcome to the New Sanctuary Compound, Keep your wits about you.
    Plot Overlay__
One thousand years ago, a wide spread nuclear war brought down the majority of the human race, leaving a dirty, bare dystopia behind them. The lucky ones who survived wandered Earth’s feeble land for years. A group of wanderers formed a group in the Mojave Desert called New Sanctuary, using the remains from the crumbled Las Vegas sky scrapers to form a mini city. For a year, the residents were able to peacefully rebuild their new city, until tensions slowly started to build. The problem of famine; unclean air; contaminated ground and who was going to dictate the city caused much commotion. It was then New Sanctuary split into five sections along the 64,750 km² Mojave Desert, protected by a wall and a single gate.

    Section 1, Rex__
Section one belongs to the Rex Clan. Rex can found at the centre of Vegas, and is the largest of all the sections. The self-proclaimed autocratic dictators of New Sanctuary, Rex is cruel to the other sections, and rely on brute force and corruption to keep the power. Their soldiers stand at the main gate, only letting the hunters into the out-lands beyond that gate to collect food. They control the price of food, water, and all the other necessities of life. Rex’s like too keep their population in prime condition, anyone sickly or old has the option to either be killed or to be kicked out into the Sanctuary-strip connecting the 5 sections to find sanctuary of Sovereign - that’s if they can make it.

    Sector 2, Sanguine__
Section two belonged to the Sanguine Clan. Sanguine taught their people to be honest, forgiving and kind. This philosophy taught throughout the generations came back to bite them when Rex tricked the Section and coaxed them into letting them transfer several soldiers to help protect them from Marauder. The Rex army had other ideas of how to ‘protect’ the people of Sanguine, defining the orders of their new leader and producing a new set of laws, similar to the ones in Rex. The Sanguine’s are being unfairly treated, maimed and killed by Rex’s soldiers and are in desperate need of help. Sanguine’s are known for their agricultural skills, as they are on prime and cleaner land, and produce better produce than the other Sections.

    Sector 3, Delanti__
Section three belongs to the Delanti Clan. The Delanti Clan focus on production and progress. Out of the five sections, they have far larger buildings and more architectural talent and knowledge. Delanti’s are also great masonry designers and cooks. They love to make and create. Delanti’s believe that innovation is the key for improving New Sanctuary, which makes this section a great threat to Rex. Since Delanti’s make weapons as well, they have consistently been able to protect themselves from invasions by Rex, who’s weaponry doesn’t match. Rex’s only way to contain Delanti is to squeeze out their resources ever so slowly. The two sections are on verge of a Cold War.

    Leader - Sabra Mccoy
    Speciality - Masonry and Architecture

    Colour - Ivory
    Moto: Et unita est alligatum

    Sector 4, Sovereign__
Section four belongs to the Sovereign Clan. The Sovereign Clan is the youngest section but still play a very important role in peacemaking among New Sanctuary. With a ‘Citizenship Fee’, Outcasts and Vagabonds can become citizens of Sovereign, and are treated kindly. Rex Outcasts, however, must undergo heavy processing. Marauder Outcasts are not allowed in. Delanti and Sovereign have an extremely close alliance, and methods of protection such as shields are smuggled across the Strip to help protect the people of Soverign from Rex and Marauder. In return, Sovereign always sides with Delanti during conflict. Many Delanti soldiers are currently stationed inside the section.Sovereign have a similar motto to Sanguine, though they think Sanguine are a very naïve section for trusting Rex. During arguments among leaders, Sovereign plays as a peacekeeper to help keep stability and fairness.

    Sector 5, Marauder__
Section five belongs to the Marauder Clan. Despite what you may think, Marauder and Rex do not like each other. There is no word in the English language that could possibly convey their hatred. Marauder has no leader, no laws and no responsibilities. They do what they want, when they want and take what they want, when they want. They are known to be careless towards anyone other than themselves. There is a strong bond between Marauders, they see each other as brothers and sisters. If one is killed, they all want a peace of revenge. Marauders terrorise all the other sections frequently, and tend to infiltrate carts of food and water moving from Rex to the other sections. They are particularly cruel to Vagabonds, as their is no one there to protect them. Camping along the side of the roads, it’s not unusal to find a group of 4 or 5 scattered around the compound. Marauders have been known to enlist Vagabonds into their section. You’ll always find Marauders taunting Rex guards at the entrance to the sections and the main gate. Marauders have often tried to invade sectors in small groups to ransack their city.

    Leader - NO LEADER

Area - Primarily Southern Sector, found all around the Sanctuary-Strip.
    Colour - Navy Blue
Moto: Brothers and Sisters in Arms.

    The Sanctuary-Strip and the Vagabonds__
The Sanctuary-Strip is a series of passageways between the sections, it’s owned by no one, and used by everyone. It’s generally inhabited by the Vagabonds. Either they choose in the beginning not to belong to any of the sections, or they were cast out. Vagabonds live a tough life; passing from each section to another, they are granted passes to spend a day or more in a section for a price - to get food and water and work that no one else wants to do - then they must move on. The first three sections usually don’t pay much attention to them, but the Marauders have made a bad reputation of stealing from and kidnapping Vagabonds while they sleep or walk alone on the Strip. Though, Vagabonds who have worked and saved enough money can pay a ‘Citizenship Fee’ and become a new citizen of Sovereign, or join Marauder for free.
