Episode One: The Club Wish
Wish gods...
To many, the possibility of their existence is merely something to put faith into. It's easier to believe someone is out there that might grant your wish than to tell yourself there's no hope at all. Right?
Chihara, Chiyo
Today brought with it the same monotonous routine that every other day brought. Wake up, go to school, go home. It was a pretty boring way to live life, but Chiyo didn't mind it. Things still managed to make themselves interesting for the girl, especially for someone who has Lewd-O-Vision. A quirk of hers, Chiyo is cursed to see even the subtlest of suggestive suggestions as lewd as if two people were doing it right in front of her. This often left the girl in a flustered state, unable to function quite as smoothly as she'd like to.
Going to high school presents itself with all sorts of mishaps common of slice-of-life anime. Fellow students walking up the stairs, unaware of just how short their skirts actually are. The occasional trip over someone's outstretched leg. Just the type of nonsense no one would fathom as things that happen with any regularity, yet here they were, happening each and every day. As much as she tried to not let it bother her, it was hard not to get distracted.
This little problem of hers also made it a little hard for the girl to make friends. Explaining random freak outs over having your mind filled with all sorts of lewd imagery wasn't an easy thing to do. As a result, she tended to isolate herself to avoid embarrassment. Today was the day all that ended though. Today was the day the wish god of Hanazawa Academy would make her problem go away.
It was lunchtime now. It wasn't uncommon for the girl to go off to eat by herself, so her absence from the lunchroom would hardly go noticed. A tray of food in hand, containing apple juice, a ham and cheese sandwich, a fruit cup, and a carton of milk, Chiyo made her way to the shrine to make an offering.
The shrine was about as simple as one might expect. A small building that was off limits to student, with a small box on a stand outside, pencil and paper provided for writing down wishes and placing them in the box. Chiyo made sure no one else was about before placing her tray down and grabbing the pencil.
From this day forward, the awkwardness that is my life will become easier.
