Episode One: The Club Wish

Wish gods...

To many, the possibility of their existence is merely something to put faith into. It's easier to believe someone is out there that might grant your wish than to tell yourself there's no hope at all. Right?

Chihara, Chiyo

Today brought with it the same monotonous routine that every other day brought. Wake up, go to school, go home. It was a pretty boring way to live life, but Chiyo didn't mind it. Things still managed to make themselves interesting for the girl, especially for someone who has Lewd-O-Vision. A quirk of hers, Chiyo is cursed to see even the subtlest of suggestive suggestions as lewd as if two people were doing it right in front of her. This often left the girl in a flustered state, unable to function quite as smoothly as she'd like to.

Going to high school presents itself with all sorts of mishaps common of slice-of-life anime. Fellow students walking up the stairs, unaware of just how short their skirts actually are. The occasional trip over someone's outstretched leg. Just the type of nonsense no one would fathom as things that happen with any regularity, yet here they were, happening each and every day. As much as she tried to not let it bother her, it was hard not to get distracted.

This little problem of hers also made it a little hard for the girl to make friends. Explaining random freak outs over having your mind filled with all sorts of lewd imagery wasn't an easy thing to do. As a result, she tended to isolate herself to avoid embarrassment. Today was the day all that ended though. Today was the day the wish god of Hanazawa Academy would make her problem go away.

It was lunchtime now. It wasn't uncommon for the girl to go off to eat by herself, so her absence from the lunchroom would hardly go noticed. A tray of food in hand, containing apple juice, a ham and cheese sandwich, a fruit cup, and a carton of milk, Chiyo made her way to the shrine to make an offering.

The shrine was about as simple as one might expect. A small building that was off limits to student, with a small box on a stand outside, pencil and paper provided for writing down wishes and placing them in the box. Chiyo made sure no one else was about before placing her tray down and grabbing the pencil.

From this day forward, the awkwardness that is my life will become easier.

"Paka paka paka paka magnifique!"

Melissa Montmorency hopped along the school during this lunch break. As she didn't have too many friends, and neither did her sister, she decided to meet up with her, but first, curiousities were in order.

Her sister had spoken of something. A channel to a god, but what does that mean?

Thankfully the location wasn't left vague. The small building was said to be forbidden.

"Forbidden? I don't know that word..."

As the one known as Chiyo had completed writing her wish, Montmorency appeared behind her. For someone so huge and towering, she seemed to appear there without warning. One would think that the footsteps would be more obvious, but no, she just appeared right there, towering and shadowing the comparatively short Chiyo.

"Por favor? What does this do?"

Montmorency's voice boomed, slamming into Chiyo's fine cap of hair. Montmorency showed signs of curiousity, wanting to know how to use this shrine.

Lunchtime. The best time to plan pranks and maybe if he was feeling lucky, make the pranks happen. Lucifer sat off to the side of the cafe, near a window so he can spy on people. It was a hobby of his. Watching people outside as they went about there day. He could easily pick out the people he knew and the people he didn't from this spot. While he may not seem it, Lucifer found a slight amount of joy watching nature and people go about there day. A smirk came to his face. Of course, it's also a nice spot to search for his new victims.

Looking away from his box of 'Bang Snaps' he noticed the french girl leaving the cafeteria. While this would seem normal Lucifer watched the direction she was heading towards. The wishing shrine where supposedly a god lives who grants wishes. Lucifer didn't believe it but hey some people are just stupid enough to believe stuff like that. Still, it was an interesting topic. The god that grants wishes. Then again according to science, there is no such thing as gods, or at least that's what he believes.

Curiosity getting the better of him, Lucifer shoves his box his bag before walking out the cafeteria ina brisk walk. He was curious as to what the blonde would wish for. That and what he might wish for if he believed. Maybe better parents, ones that aren't overbaring? Though that wish could go wrong. He might get parents that don't care at all. See, there is always a price for what you wish for. Walking past the forbidden sign he saw the ditz and Chiyo. Interesting seems little Chiyo want to make a wish. Smirking he pulled out his box of Bang Snaps and threw two near the girls laughing.

Haru Akiyama

It was this time of day that Haru liked to "sleep in". He usually sat the table to take a small snooze, his motherly friend usually played "bodyguard" while he slept. Of course afterwards she'd scold him about using his time wisely but most occasions she would "let it slide just this once." Today something was bothering them though. One day she brought up rumors of the "off-limits" shrine. She had a certain twinkle in her eyes, of course he brushed it off as a certain forbidden appeal but if it really worked who could it hurt? Besides it could be nice to get it off his chest and simply get it over with. He found that each day was beginning to drag out longer as time progressed. He might as well sneak out now.

As his friend questioned him getting up he shrugged her off simply dismissing it as, "Bathroom." Cautiously his eyes darted to and fro before he snuck out. His eyes narrowed noticing the troublemaker before he decided his life was better if he simply ignored the "stalker". Haru couldn't deny that he noticed the black-haired male follow after the tall outspoken foreigner. He honestly couldn't care less, in full truth if the prankster got a restraining order it'd be quite amusing. As he walked out he tugged at his sweatshirt before shielding his eyes from the blinding light. Afterwards slipping his hands into his sweatshirt. Thoughtfully he murmured, "Not a bad change of pace."

When he reached the foot of the shrine's entrance he looked slightly surprised at the amount of people who turned up. Taking one hand out of the comfort of his sweatshirt he scratched at his cheek. Stalker, foreigner, and.... Someone else. Her identity was on the tip of his tongue- No matter. He'd get it sometime. Haru let out an aspirated sigh. He'd wait until she was finished. Respecting her privacy or at least what was left of it.

Tamaki, Junko

Junko leaned back in her chair as she sat in the classroom. Lunch time was the best time. It was the time no one really cared if she pulled out her game system, sat back, and enjoyed playing her game. She had so many things to do. School just got in the way. She tripled clicked the home button, bringing the system out of sleep mode. There upon the screen, her character stood within the village of Bherna. "Yuna" was dressed magnificently in Najarala armor with her two Palicoes "Bok Choy" and "Masamune" sporting fashionable Malfestio and Volvi armor respectively. This morning she had taken on her first Monster Hunter XX High Rank hunt. Which meant she needed to spend just a bit of time reorganizing her inventory, petting a Moofy, petting a Poogie, and buying a meal from the bistro. As Junko pet her adorable Poogie dressed as a bee, a notification popped up onto her screen.

No. No. No. No.

Junko lifted her long sleeve to her lips and began to munch on the fabric. This was not happening. Quickly she dove for her schoolbag as she tried to find her charging cable. But alas, it was not to be found. Panic set in. She had packed it. She always packed it. But it was gone. By the gods it was gone. The charging cable was missing from its beloved hiding spot in her school bag.

The Switch will die before I can kill the stupid Pickle.

As quickly as she could, she saved her game. Turned the system off and tore out of the the classroom. There was a possibility she had dropped it on her way in to school. She traced her steps back to the school entrance. Quickly changing shoes, she moved outside. Her gaze drifting to the small building not far away with the shrine.

That's it. I'll just wish for the battery life to last until I can at least carve off Pickle's tail. That will do.

The girl hurried across the lawn. But when she arrived at the shrine she discovered that she was not alone. Apparently it was a busy day for wish making. Meekly Junko approached. "Did your Switch die too before you could hunt the Deviljho?" Why else would they be here?

Chihara, Chiyo

[/hr]It wasn't long before a wish that was supposed to be made in private turned into a gathering of sorts. The brown-haired girl had to wonder if the wish god of Hanazawa really acted with such haste. "Y-You've never been to a shrine?" she asked the foreigner, making note of the woman's rather voluptuous assets. Her face quickly turned a shade of red, and she had to close her eyes to keep herself from staring. Efforts that would soon be punished as a loud bang resounded near her feet shortly thereafter.

"YAAA!" Had she not caught herself, she'd be on her butt right now. There was no doubting who the culprit was — everyone knew him. Lucifer Lestrange, school prankster. With a name like that, who could ever forget it? Not being one much for confrontation, Chiyo decided to leave reacting to the foreigner, who, for some odd reason, failed to see they were just being teased.

The next to join their group was a boy that didn't stand out much in contrast to Lucifer, and the girl Chiyo knew simply as a game junkie. It was a shock to see her without a handheld in, well...hand. Devil...Joe? Chiyo couldn't make any sense of it. She wasn't much of a gamer herself, much preferring screenplays as her source of entertainment. Whoever this Devil Joe guy was, they probably hadn't made a movie about him yet.

"N-Not exactly..." she replied.
