Personality: A generally nondescript, though bright girl, Dover's most defining characteristic is putting her nose in other people's business. She's ambitious, confident, deliberate, and a long-range thinker. As such, she loves learning about things she doesn't understand and, no matter what, will try and find out the truth behind whatever is puzzling her. While she's not very street-smart, she is very analytical and loves tearing things apart—clocks, computers, electronics—just to see what makes them tick. Even though she is quite meddlesome, she is also a very stoic and serious person who isn't usually one for joking around. Her wildness doesn't make her overly gregarious or comical, but instead drives her to never stop asking more questions.
While Dover may not smile at everyone she meets, she genuinely cares about the well being of most people. She tries to do the right thing whenever she can, though has a small habit of taking things that don't belong to her. Chill, cool, and unshakeable in all possible ways, Dover refuses to take any nonsense from anyone. She's incredibly stubborn and pessimistic, incredibly set in her ways, but not at all compulsive. If you try and sway her opinions, she'll put up a verbal fight and antagonize you for hours until you leave her alone or agree she's right just to get her to stop complaining. She's extremely competitive and is always seeking to prove herself to others. If she's committed to something and is good at it, she feels like she has to be the absolute best at it and will compete for the top spot, even if no one else is queued in to her 'competition.' Though she is kind of a tough girl, she loves Audrey Hepburn movies, coffee ice cream, and that really pretty coral lipstick shade at the nearby drug store.
She is in possession of a close-knit group of friends and genuinely likes being around other people, but isn't the type of sacrifice everything for somebody else. She can be the loyal type, but is too self-centered to take someone else's needs into consideration before her own. That doesn't mean she won't go out of her way to help someone else and do the right thing, so long as the situation doesn't negatively impact her in anyway. She is always pleasant though, and overly courteous with her "pleases" and "thank-yous," but has a certain way of dampening the spirits of others through her rather cynical outlook on life. She thinks quickly in a pinch and always makes the New Year's resolution to get in shape, even though she fails every year.
