NASA's Kepler mission has confirmed its first planet in the "habitable zone," the region where liquid water could exist on a planet’s surface. Kepler also has discovered more than 1,000 new planet candidates, nearly doubling its previously known count. Ten of these candidates are near-Earth-size and orbit in the habitable zone of their host star. Candidates require follow-up observations to verify they are actual planets.

NASA blabs more about it here.

Oooh, this is exciting! We know of places where we can possible exist! Now all we need to do is master space travel, and that should be easy! It's not like it's rocket science or anything...oh >_>

I love how they always feel the need to give an artist's impression while knowing next to nothing about the planets in question.

Vay is just mad that someone has finally found his homeworld.

and then got the name wrong!!!!! >=(

P-E-C-H YOU NASA BASTARDS!
