Akihiko Ken
Team 15
Amegakure, Tea Shoppe

Akihiko was surprised when his new sensei spoke to him. It wasn't a normal occurrence in his life. Normally when he lurked in the shadows or on the sidelines he would go unnoticed for hours until he decided to make his presence known. Well, a high level of alertness was to be expected from someone as well trained as a sensei. "You are Akihiko Ken, are you not? It would do you well to come in and order something, preferably something to keep you awake," those were her words. Something to keep him awake. Even that seemed an unnatural statement for someone to make to him. He didn't sleep at night. How could he? Night was the time when he was haunted by the dreams and memories of his slain family. And when he was reminded how utterly alone he was in this world. Akihiko shrugged off his thoughts. He couldn't afford to do that anymore; get lost in thoughts. Now he was suppose to be more alert than ever, so he went over to where the two senseis and his fellow genin were stationed. Bowing to both his senseis, he said, "Goodnight, my name, as you might already know, is Akihiko Ken, of the Ken Clan. Though I doubt you've heard of us. My family is........ was very secretive." He paused for a moment before continuing. "I am honoured to be placed under your tutelage and I hope to excel with your guidance." He turned to the other boy and held out his hand to shake. "And I also hope we will be able to work together efficiently and get along on well." He managed a weak smile to accompany his formalities, hoping no-one would be able to see through into his chronic depression. That was all it took. Now he just had to wait for the boy to shake his hand, and for his senseis to give him permission to sit. Then they could get down to the serious part.

Nervani Chisu
Genin, Kumogakure , Training Field
Today is going to be a bad day, Nervani thought to herself. All bad days started the same, with the sound of her screaming from a nightmare, her mothers lifeless body on the ground and the haunting words her father used to describe her. I am nothing.... she thought. Saria, the wife of the Jounin who had saved her, says that Nervani is special and sweet. But there was nothing special about someone who couldn't protect their own mother, if she was worth anything then her mother would be here now. The voice of someone on patrol snapped her out of her thoughts and back to reality, one where she was a Genin. A reality where she had graduated and was assigned a Sensei, she had gotten a message to meet the said Sensei on the training field.

"Excuse me, ma'am. But what is your name and your destination?" The man asked her. He was eyeing her in an odd way and he made a move to touch her, but she jerked her hand away quickly.

"Nervani Chisu, meeting a Sensei," Nervani said, her voice was small and it shook. But before he could ask another question she turned and ran on the direction of the training field. She could hear him calling for her to stop but she didn't, she just kept running. Eventually, she came to a grassy training field and stopped, this was where she was supposed to be. Will my Sensei think I am worthless too? she questioned herself. Vani was determined to prove that she was worth anything, even just the smallest thing was better than nothing. I can be something, Mama, I will be. I will make you proud of me and prove father wrong. Mama, I miss you, she thought to herself. She wiped a stray tear from her face and stood silently waiting for her Sensei.

Mitsunari Takeda
The Hidden Rain

The King's Men (Mitsunari meets his teammates)

Mitsunari stood from his little bow as his instructor commanded him, she rejected the kiss the hand. Then he noticed two new people entered the tea shop as well. His new teammate, seemed oftly shy. And....SCORE! Another attractive looking lady was there as well! He nearly fainted backwards, but he endured. She was too old to be a genin... could he be so lucky that this was his other sensei? He had to introduce himself! He overheard his sensei's tone though.

"Mitsunari, meet your other Sensei, Kazen meet your student,"
He wasn't oblivious, he knew what that meant..... that he had so much expectation he was going to have 2 sensei's attention! GOLD! Even shorter time to becoming a Jonin!

He turned as his new companion introduced himself, and offered it. Mitsunari took it grinning ear to ear. Someone of a secretive clan? Great! Then he didn't have to worry about being competed for his claim, no one 'famous' around. Just a nice, quiet teammate. He could shine like that.... what did he mean exactly by 'was' secretive? Eh, whatever, he'd do his introduction. He wish he didn't have to do it again, why did he have to arrive first anyways, he was lost, he was lost to boot(his mind thought real quick of the various Tea shops across the city he'd 'introduced' himself in.). Maybe next time he'd be fashionably late? It always sucked to waste an introduction. But he'd do it again.

"It's a pleasure, I'm sure. I'm Mitsunari, of the reputable Takeda clan. Hope you'll do well with me."

Truth though, his 'clan' subsided of him, his ailing mother, and his non-shinobi sister. But he was self-delusional to the point he really did believe in the 'Takeda Clan', if only as tribute to his father. He sat down finally and turned to his other Sensei

"A pleasure to meet you as well, my Lady"

He opened up the menu as he talked... tea.... tea... tea... What was the difference?

"So what are we doing, anyways?"

Yoshikuni Sadako
Amegakure genin, Team 11

Part of being a Jinchuuriki

Walking around the festival, Kuni was trying to think on what she should do next. She had spent some time with Sachi, and Eiji was away which meant there will be no missions or leaving the village for a while longer. The choice was now between training or trying to get in touch with the Yonbi again, though she had no idea if he would want to talk to her again. Son made it pretty clear that he was irritated with her choice of spilling her gut in front of Meisa.

Moving her hands to behind her head, Kuni let out a sigh and looked at the plank that dropped people in the water once a target was struck. Maybe thats something she needed, a little dip in the water to clear her mind, though she didnt quite want to do it in such a manner. She barely turned to the direction of her aparentment when something hit her face.

Removing the red splatter from her face, she saw it was a tomato. Looking at the direction it was thrown from, she saw a woman and a young boy, and the boy was getting ready to throw another tomato. Kuni just stood there as the second tomato struck her, this time hitting her shirt "You beast! Bring back my daddy! Bring him back and leave!" The boy started shouting, attracting attention of others in the area, who merely watched in awe.

Then whispers started to be heard around.

"Thats the host of the Yonbi? Why is she here?"
"They should've went and put her someone secure, not just let a beast roam like this..."
"This young girl is supposed to be the one who will tame the Yonbi? She will probably erupt any second now."
"What were the Amekage and his assistant thinking to themselves, letting the beast loose among us."

"Bring back my daddy!"

The second shout of the young boy brought Kuni back and made her realise that in the meanwhile, the boy had struck her with two more tomatos. All the people who were watching didnt dare approach her, some appearing scared and some discontent. Figuring that going back to her apartment now would be rather a bad idea, since it will let people know where she lives, Kuni instead merely looked at the direction of the boy.

Letting her body act without overthinking it, she ran forward and then past the boy and his mother, and soon went up on the wall of the building behind them. She kept on running forward, jumping between the different roofs of the buildings until she reached a somewhat distant one. Stopping, Kuni moved to sit on the ledge of the roof. So that boy lost his father in the Yonbi's assault on the village. And she assumed Eiji knew how many more. Did all of their relatives blame her?

Then there was also the fact people lacked faith in her. She had no idea what people were thinking, or rather, just didnt bother finding out. Sitting on the ledge, Kuni looked at her hands and thought back. Had she heard anything else in this manner but chose to ignore it?

No. She had spent all of her time either with Eiji at his place, or at her apartment, or at the training field. Then she thought about the times she went to the market place since then. Some of the times she had been with Eiji, so she couldn't remember too much, but then she thought about the times she had went alone. She didn't hear anything, but she realised she missed an important detail. The looks she had recieved from others. It was partially a look of disbelief and partially a look of fear. Just like what the people had been saying. Those expressions were the same.

Turning to look at the sky, Kuni wondered why she had missed those before. Had it been because she always had someone to spend time with? Most likely. Eiji was constantly around, and she could nearly always bother him a bit, if he liked it or not.

But now she was alone. Alone in a village that apparently fears her and doesnt believe that they would just let her go about the way she does. Moving to look down at her legs, Kuni tried to think on what she will do next. She felt as if all of her energy had just been drained from her by this. She knew she shouldn't let what others think affect her this much, but...

It was hard to ignore now that there was no one around for her to spend time with. She slightly pushed herself back onto the roof, brought her head against her knees and warpped her arms around her legs. She wasn't crying, but she felt like staying like this for a short while. Or at least until a new, better day would come.

Tora Hatake
Kirigakure Jounin, Sensei of Team 11

Kirigakure Trainingfield 3

Moving to stand in front of her two students, Tora shook her head a bit "I want you both to tell me what do you think this excersize was, and while doing so, keep your eyes on me all the time, and keep track of every move I make." She said in a calm look while taking out a kunai and beginning to spin it on her finger via the kunai's small loop. She didn't appear to be doing anything else other than wait for her students reply, and look around from time to time.

Kumogatauri Dobustu
Kirigakure Training Field 3

Kumoga held her focus on Tora as she spun the kunai on a finger and spoke, she did her best to keep track of everything she did, which was simple enough when she was just spinning a kunai and looking around occasionally. Takeshi wasn't really a talker, so she would have to likely speak for both of them for now. "Was it not to test our ability to anticipate the movement of a target, so we would have better control of their actions and allow us to entrap them, Hatake-Sensei?" She hoped she was correct, else she would feel like she'd made a mistake in trying to figure out what exactly that exercise was for.

Thawing the North
A collab between Gerontis and Red Fox

Summary:
Takeru summons Nariko and issues him a grim order. Enjoy.
He stared outside the window. Even while one couldn't see his face, Takeru looked with a sad look at the town. Usually he glanced at the town with a smile or a sense of pride. Today it was different. He couldn't feel anything, but regret and sorrow. Worse, he disliked his choice. Even though he was the Raikage for a year or so, he had never made a choice that had let him feel bad about it. That made him doubt himself. Letting out a sigh, he knew that there would be more of such choices, that he would need to stay strong. But could he call himself strong if he didn't had what it take to protect that special one person? If he was too weak and afraid to save somebody from harm? Another sigh escaped his lips.

Nariko was leaping from building to building towards the middle of their village, where the Raikage´s office was housed. The summon sounded grim, and so made his preparations on a double and immediately headed out to meet Takeru. Even though he only returned to the village after being tangled with clan matters, there was already a mission waiting for him. Nariko was very grateful for the chance he was given, and he was not planning on letting the Raikage down two times in a row. Not now since he was the Jounin Commander of the village, a role that deminded even more from him than his already ANBU status. He made double time through the stairs and he was standing before the door to the office where Takeru waited for him. The guards nodded and he knocked on the door.

Another person that wished his attention. Another person what would like him probably to make a decision. To keep protect everybody in this city and nation. ''Come in.'' Takeru said with a clear tone. He wouldn't turn around, but still stare at the village as he thought of the brief moments of real peace he had. When he wasn't an ANBU, Raikage or had anything to do with that. Just somebody that could try to give somebody else a peaceful life. And now he couldn't do that. Ironic, he thought to himself as he would finally turn around.

Nariko opened the door and walked in with a firm step, but when he spotted the Raikage looking out the window, he quitly closed it."Nariko Jun, reporting in. You summoned me, Raikage-Sama. I came as fast as I could." He bowed down in anticipation of his orders. His body was fully recovered, but some scars were still in the process of healing and the place where his ANBU tattoo was was still covered in a bandage. He kept staring at the ground untill he was spoken to.

'''Comrade, no need for titles now.'' Takeru said with a friendly tone as he would take place in his seat. With only Nariko around, he could drop his mask. Putting off the mask, Takeru rubbed his eyes briefly. '''I'm glad that you could come on such a short notice. With this whole situation about Waki's death and tension.'' He said with an irritated tone. Lowering his hand, he tried to flash a smile. '''How are you, my good friend?''

Nariko raised his head and spotted that the Raikage was not wearing his mask, so he did the same. He revealed his face, which was sharp as it used to be - he focused entirely on Takeru."I understand, Senpai. I was shocked when I heard about the assassination, and especially when the victim was Sanosuke-sama. I never believed he could ... end up like this. He, from all people. And most people feel it. The mood in the village is ... I would describe it as suffocating." Nariko remained quiet for a few moments as well, his mind repeating the events."I am fine, Senpai. All my wounds are healed, except for a few scars - the medical nin said they never seen stuff this nasty. And my ANBU tattoo ... well, the skin there was burned . The new hurt like ... a lot. But I ... I know ... what is the matter ... Takeru?"

The man smiled again, but there was no joy in either his smile or in his eyes. '''A lot. The state is in trouble. The people are getting worried. You know,'' Takeru scoffed as he made a gesture. '''The Daimyo even requested, no demanded an increase of shinobi to guard him after the news of Waki being assassinated. And here I am, sitting with my rear on this seat,'' The tone of the Raikage started to change. The polite tone had vanished as something more raw was boiling up. Anger. '''Sitting here, condemming other men and women to die in the name of this country. I, the Raikage, considered one of the finest shinobi in this nation. I can't even protect a child, you know? '' Takeru laughed, but there was no pleasure in it. It was hollow. '''Can you imagine that? A great shinobi, being assigned to become a kage. A leader and protector of a whole state, but not able to give one simple young person a normal life. What a joke.''

Nariko remained silent. He never seen Takeru like this, and it almost scared him. If something is bothering the most powerful man in the village like this, it is more than enough of a reason to make Nariko feel worried as well."Senpai ... with all due respect ... you are a shinobi. You´re not the Sage ... you have your limits, even though I have to bend my neck ... like a lot to be able to even look up to them. You are not allmighty, even though ... well, you are on the right track." Realizing that his attempts at making the situation any lighter were failing, he stood up, still looking at Takeru."I am sorry, Senpai. I can assure you that everyone in the village respects you ... and so do I. What happened is ... tragic. But you have done what you could. And I am sure it was the best you could do. Raikage-sama ... your village needs you, now, more than ever."

Takeru grumbled something. He looked away, thinking about something. '''The Cloud is growing. Our dominion is growing as is our influence and power. Soon, we'll have what it takes to make sure we're safe. Capable of protecting ourselves from the other big nations.'' Takeru began, turning his gaze back upon Nariko. '''Last week, I had some exchange with the Fire Union, which has now been named the Empire of Akino. Quite the move if you ask me.'' Takeru paused as he smiled for a moment. '''We were offered an alliance. Due the good and old ties of our villages, they wished to reforge that bond. And with that bond, we will only solidify our claim and power in the north.'' His smile vanished slowly.

'''I've sent however their answer in the form of my own protegé. She will be escorted by Team 13, under the leadership of Midori Sato. The alliance treaty will be sign by my protegé as well they will ensure that she and her guards are being taken good care off.'' Takeru thought back when he had talked with Midori. Little did they know about this, but his little protegé knew everything she had. And now he wondered where she was. If she was safe. Managing to not let his emotions take control, Takeru sighed as he continued. '''That means that those rebels of the Antare clan in the north can't do anything towards the jinchuriki nor my protegé. I however suspect that another higher up will be chosen as a target. Even so, I wish you to muster a considerable host and march north. To make sure that we don't have to be worried about those who we care for. If I can't protect what is dear to me, I've faith you can, Nariko Jun.''

Nariko was a bit surprised. He had expected many things to be the outcome of this meeting - a secret mission, a mission to protect someone, escort, deliver something. But to gather a host and to march northwards with it - that was nothing short of a war. And he was supposed to be the one who will lead the host in their march. His mind was racing - dozens, hundreds of questions started to swarm his mind. He never led an army before - the logistics, organizing units, keeping the morale, speeches. He looked at Takeru, his mind quickly wandering away. What was he thinking?

With a quick shake of his eyes, he returned to reality."I understand, Raikage-Sama. I will do the necessary preparations as quickly as it is possible and march towards north. What objectives do we have to complete, Senpai? I am not suggesting that you are sending us for a walk."

'''Your objectives, my good friend?'' Takeru became silent as he would then raise himself up. He smiled, but it turned into a stern look. '''You're objective, commander, is to see that no old man is being stabbed in the back. That no small girl is being sent from home, to look for safety elsewhere. Your objective is to bring peace back to this country. And bring those who wish to see otherwise, kneel in their own blood. ''

Nariko was not sure if he remembered Takeru being this grim, or straightforward since he knew him, But then again, the time for being nice was long since gone. Action was demanded, and he would be the one to carry out the actions. The safety of the village was at hand. Nothing more, nothing less."So ... an example must be made of them.Understood, Senpai." He felt determined to fulfill the order given, and to show no mercy to the north." They will regret crossing paths with The Hidden Cloud. I guess ... I have to thaw the north."

Slowly sitting down, Takeru nodded once. Hopefully this would be the end of the revolt of that damn Antare clan. '''And Nariko, I've two requests.'' Takeru paused, as he would then announce his first. '''I want the heads of their leaders. All served on a pike.'' Leaning back in his seat, the man kept looking with a grim look. '''And my second, commander, would be that you ought to return. In one piece. I hope that is more than clear?''

" Understood, Senpai. Their heads will be served ... as ordered. I will personally take care of that ... delicate manner." Nariko already knew that this one mission will be a mission he will not forget that easily. He had to lead an army on its march, and ... as he understood it, assassinate several people. So be it. Anything for the Raikage, or more precisely, for his dear friend. And it also served the best interest of the village."And ... I will return in one piece, Senpai. Though ... a bruise or two might ... happen. Those are ... you know, hard to avoid. And ... blood stained clothes. Those will be hard to avoid. And I will make sure to find some ... sake. You know, for ... for the sake of it."

The man frowned. '''You're dismissed commander.'' Takeru looked away for a moment. '''Make sure that there won't too much blood be spilled. It is hard to drink with a dead man. I can tell. Not my best experience.'' He shook his head a bit as he managed to chuckle. '''I'm sorry, my good friend.'' Takeru returned his gaze back to Nariko, his expression becoming a bit worried. '''I already sent what I hold dear in the whole wide world away into safety. Don't make me regret sending my best friend to his death.''

Nariko could not help but smile at the words that were adressed towards him. He had to suppress a chuckle at the mention of drinking with a dead man." That is what makes us the people being responsible for this village, Senpai. I am sure it was ... hard for you to do the things you did ... but you acted with the best intentions. I have faith in your decisions, and I have faith in you. I am not planning to die in the north, Senpai. I will come back with a nice sake set and ... something else. Oh ... and I head that the north has one special brand of sake ... we will have to try it once I return. Deal, Senpai? "

Though Takeru wanted to believe those words, as much as he believed and had faith in his good friend and commander, he couldn't. Though he wouldn't voice it, he couldn't believe what he had done was the right thing to do. The right thing in his opinion would be if he was capable of being called a leader if he could protect more people. Yet, the grim thoughts that formed dark clouds in his mind couldn't stop him from smiling genuinely as Nariko made his suggestion. '''It'll be off great honor to drink upon your victory, my friend. May the Storm watch over you.''

" May the Storm watches over you, my friend." Nariko smiled at his friend. He was aware that this might be the last time he sees his Senpai, but he was truly determined not to die in frozen north. He had a mission to complete, some heads to serve, and sake to drink." Yes, Senpai. I inted to return victorious." Nariko placed his mask on his face, then he turned to Takeru. He wanted to say something, but the words did not come to his mind. So he just bowed his head as a way of seeing goodbye.

Midori Sato, yellowgreen
Kumogakure
At the Gate
Just before Sunrise

A yawn escaped Midori's lips and forced its way out into the open air creating a small puff of white before her mouth. The temperature wasn't that high in Kumo early in the morning and a small wave of goosebumps made its way over Midori's skin as a follow-up to the yawn. It was early, but at the same time it was almost late. They had to leave, but there was no one here. No one except Midori, who was all but ready to go, and a little girl standing next to her, who was wearing a scrowl on her face. Neither looked at each other and neither spoke. With her left hand she fiddled with the sword that now hung on her back. She couldn't quite use it as her kenjutsu was abominal, but it felt right. She glanced to Akira who was staring forward, her cheeks still red, and Midori's gaze went back to the scroll in her other hand that she had recieved when Akira arrived just a moment ago:

Walking, the little girl had a backpack on her back. She held a small scroll in her left hand and her head was somewhat lowered. It was clear that she had been crying as her cheeks were still a bit wet and her eyes red. Rubbing her nose with her right arm, the girl continued to walk. There was something sticking out of the backpack. A top of a shamisen, by the looks of it. Approaching Midori, the girl held her head lowered as she spoke in a soft tone. A clear opposite of how she had spoken to Midori the first time. ''I've been sent and instructed to give you this.'' Holding up her left hand, the girl sobbed.

''Midori Sato,

The content of this scroll is for your eyes only. Your objective is to guard and escort Akira towards Konohagakure. Near the border, you and your team will be received by the nin that the Hokage has sent for you. Keep Akira safe and well. Not for me, but for the future of our country.
Do know that you've been granted permission to write me back and inform about you and your team's welfare. As that of Akira's.

May the Storm watch over you,

Takeru.''

Midori knew that the girl was trying very hard not to cry. They didn't like each other very much that much was quite clear, but that was okay. She just needed to her the girl to Konoha and that would be that. For that purpose she had send a message to both Reyna and Kaya to meet her at the exit of the city for a mission. So far neither of those two had shown up. Midori put the scroll back in her backpack and stretched her back. A few joints popped. She hoped that the two would arrive soon because they really needed to go. They had a mission to finish.

Thoughts and opinions

Sitting at the Hon Compound´s court under he tree he created for Zakito´s naps, Hiroshi leaned against Hirudora´s back, as he enjoyed the view offered by this stary night. He was just sitting there, resting, while Hirudora was chewing on large pieces of meat Hiroshi had brought for him. They were not talking, but Hiroshi felt that even at this moment, a lot of things were between the two of them. Years of mutual trust and respect forged a lasting friendship Hiroshi cherished and hoped to preserve for a long. They could talk about almost everything, and Hiroshi asked his companion for advice more than one times. As was the case now.

" Do you think she is ready, Hirudora? I mean ... she is too young ... and already an Empress ...". The tiger took his time to finish the piece of meat he was enjoying. " You know I have no interest in those politics of yours, Hiroshi. All I care about is the well being of that girl, of the Little Wolf." Hiroshi smiled a bit upon those words. " Then our goals are common, Hirudora. I am not interested in politics neither. But she is a family member of mine and I feel worried for her. But if anyone can handle it ... " Hiroshi could not finish his sentence. " ... than she is the one that can handle it. She taught me that in the short time we spent together."

Hiroshi closed his eyes as he smiled. Sometimes, he felt that Hirudara can read his mind, but that was not the case - it was a sign of the mutual understanding between the two. " You are right, as always. She is the one that can handle it. The Little Wolf ... ". With that, Hiroshi assumed an almost lying position against the back of his companion, and enjoyed the stary sky above his head. He will contact his team and start training with them again. But before that, there was one night he wanted to enjoy in the company of his friend.

" Indeed, Hirudora. The Little Wolf is the brightest hope of this Empire. "

The alarm was ringing through the room for a couple of minutes. She was going to take a nap once she returned home during the evening. She knew she was to meet her team when the clock would hit midnight. However, the nap turned into something more. She was in a deep sleep, she lost track of time. "Mmmmm...." She was literally cuddling her own pillow, or rather, her face was buried in the pillow, ignoring the sound from the clock on the desk next to her bed.

"Shin-chan.... Shin-chan..." Her mother, who was home at the time was knocking on the door. Her mother knew about her little gathering at midnight. Shinra had already told her in the morning. However, to no avail, did the knocking, or the sound of her voice, wake her daughter.

But, fortunately, the voice along with the sound of the alarm created some unrest in her mind, in her own little world. An annoying expression was plastered on Shinra's face. She tried to find where the clock was with her hand, touching one place or the other, until she reached the desk, and literally slammed the top of the device. The alarm clock fell down on the floor. Her mother, Shina Azuha, was still knocking on the door. "Wake up.. You're going to be late..."

"Shoo.. Shoo... Go away... I'll wake up soon.. It's not time yet..." The tone of her voice was quite lazy and tiring. But, this was her talking in her sleep, not fully aware that she was in the wrong. The knocking on the door had disappeared, along with the voice of her own mother. The sound of nothing replaced her annoying expression with a smile. She could finally go back to sleep.

A few seconds later, the door was kicked in, and the abrupt sound woke her up completely. Jumping up from the bed, her lenghty hair was a mess. She blinked and stared at the figure before her. It was her mother, looking at her with an angry expression. "Shinra Azuha... Are you aware that you're already late? That its just past midnight?.. That you'll be late to meet your team from the very first day?... Are you?!!!" The expression on her face could tell that she was both confused and afraid from the wrath of her own mother.

"Uhm... It is?..." She confusingly asked, not trying to make eye contact with her mother. She glanced over at the clock on the floor. Luckily the right side was up, so she could see the time. Her eyes widened, noticing that it was a few minutes past midnight. "Oka-san.. I'm sorry..... I---" She was interrupted by her mother, who sighed with a worried expression.

"It's fine... You're awake... Now get ready and fix your messy hair... Young lady...." Shinra's mother turned around, approaching the exit to the room. "If it was your brothers team, he'd be there an hour earlier.." It was one of those times, where her own mother would compare her to Akira, her older brother, who was respected throughout the clan, especially in the Head and the Greater Branch.

"I said I'm sorry didn't I.. Now can I get ready? Because I'm really going to get late if I dont..." She expressed her own feelings, knowing full well that she was a disappointment unlike her own brother, but it was something Shinra assumed, by how her mother treated her, which was just more strictly than Akira. Her mother, without responding, walked out the room, closing the door behind her.

"Always comparing me to Onii-san.." She pouted to herself, though in a grumpy way. Seconds later, she stood up from the bed and got ready, strapped her forehead protector around her hip, and her hairstyle was a simple pony-tail. Another few minutes passed before she left her room and ran down the stairs. She gazed at her own mother, who was standing in the hall, just by the door leading outside the house.

"Oka-san...." She uttered, wondering if there was more to the scolding she went through earlier. Her mother, Shina Azuha, was looking at her with a somewhat sad expression.

"Listen Shinra.. You're my one and only daughter.. And I can never replace you nor your brother.." She gave Shinra a hug, before kissing her on the forehead, and looking her into the eyes. A smile came across her daughters face. She showed compassion and love for her mother by giving her a hug back.

"I'm heading out now... Wish me luck.." Shinra stated, before she walked out the door. Her mother, however, gave her a simple smile in return. Nothing more was to be said. Minutes had passed and she was definetly late. Somewhat worried about what may happen once she appeared at the tea shop.

"I hope I'm not too late." She ran through the streets of Amegakure before she arrived right before the entrance to the said tea shop. Panting as she took a break, she slid open the traditional door and ventured inside. Her eyes blinked for a few seconds before she wiped the little sweat she had on her forehead. "Now.. Where are they?" She uttered. Scanning the tea shop, she noticed the team she was assigned to, but unfortunately for her, she was the last one to arrive.

She slowly approached them by the table and made her presence known. "Uhh.." She bowed down in respect and tilted her head upwards, gazing at the people before her. For a few seconds, she said nothing, but was awfully nervous. Especially when the silence around the table made things way more awkward, for her anyway.

"My na-- name is Sh-- Shinra Azuha... Pleased to- to.. make your acquaintance.." She stammered nervously, before continuing. "I-- I apologize for being late... Sutā-sensei, Aniru-sensei." Shinra had an apologetic aura all around her face. She was hoping she wouldn't get into any trouble for making them wait, but she wouldn't know.

Though Shika had arrived first she was the last to speak. It gave her time to mull over what her team-mates had revealed about themselves and though she wanted to know more about the people she was stuck working with, her time to speak came around swiftly. Shika cleared her throat. "I'm Shika Yukimura! I'm a Genin and fourteen years old. It'll be fun working with all of you, I'm sure we'll get along amazing. I don't really know your brother Daiki or your father Soha," she gestured to them both respectively, "but that's okay, right? After all, you did tell us to forget our past and all here and I'll get to know you guys as Daiki and Soha, not the 'Chakra Breaker's brother or Nawagi's son."

"Oh, Naname! I didn't forget you," she winked, "not ever! I like sweets too! When I can get them of course... it's so hard to buy things you want nowadays, the streets are just like clogged up with all these workers and people and basically everyone. You can't really like get past them either unless you're like some kinda body-builder or something and they'll get all angry at you too. But hello, the streets are messed already from like two weeks ago or something, can't you gawk at the houses like somewhere else? People have to buy stuff too!" She paused, blissfully unaware of her blabbering. "Did you guys see what happened in Kiri anyway? I've heard things from giant slugs to snakes to even caterpillars but I didn't even get to see anything! Sometimes I'm too busy for my own good..." She sighed. "So anyway, is this all Sen- uh, Daiki? We don't have a mission to go on today, do we? I kinda forgot all my things back home..."

Team 3, orange
Riku blinked in surprise at the news that this was Team 3 'I thought squads were suppose to have 3 members and 1 Sensei.....I wonder what happened to the 3rd....' He thought his curiosity peaked but he decided to keep the questions to himself, he didnt want to bug his new team with unnecessary questions on his first day. Looking up at Satoshi he gives his Sensei his full attention as he recites his name, clan, rank, and likes. 'Wow he was in the Black Watch? He must be pretty strong....Though he doesnt look too tough....' After Satoshi was done, Hanako took up the reins. Riku gave her a friendly and thankful smile for not making him go next, he was still a bit nervous.

Though at the mention of her old team his smile faded 'Shes already lost 1 team? But shes not much older than me.....I guess its not that uncommon, a Shinobi's life is one of danger and risk.' A bit lost in his thoughts, he didnt notice Hanako had stopped with her introduction until she prompted that it was his turn. Riku suddenly felt not only Satoshi's, but Hanako's eyes on him. 'Oh great meathead, you should of thought of what to say instead of gawking like a child at them!' He chided himself mentally, though he could of sworn it was Kyo talking. With his hands stuffed in his pockets he started rocking back and forth slightly on his feet.

"Oh uh-uhh me? Umm....My name is Riku Sashuro, I'm 13 years old and earned the rank of Genin last week. I'm from the Sashuro clan, we're known for our Kekkei Genkai, Fire Release: Soul Fire. Though we're a rather small clan. I specialize in Fire and Taijutsu." He hesitates a moment 'Better get it over with....' Looking away from his teammates, he continues. "Ummm, I dont like to tell others this, but since we'll be a team for hopefully a long time....I have a second personality, his name is Kyo. He tends to only come out if I'm extremely mad or in mortal danger. So....If you suddenly see me crashing through everything....Ya thats him." He waits for a few seconds for that to sink in before glancing up at Satoshi first, then Hanako. "As for my likes. I like training, Barbecue, exploring, helping others....And animals." His tone through all this is a mix of nervous, hesitant, and hopeful

Reyna Azuma, Yellow
Kumo Genin, Team 13
At the Gates of Kumogakure

Reyna Azuma hurried towards her destination. She was finally on a mission again, after everything that had happened during the exams... she hadn't been sure she was ever going to be able to go on one again. Especially not with her team, well, what was left of it...

Clenching her fists as she ran, Reyna focused on her destination. It hurt too much to think of Deidara, of the friend she had lost far too soon. She should have been there... she could have helped... Catching sight of the gates ahead, Reyna glanced around to try and spot Midori. A slight smile touched her lips as she spotted her best friend. The smile faded quickly however, replaced by yet another pang of sadness.

Reyna approached her teammate, her eyes narrowing slightly in confusion as she spotted a young girl standing next to her. Who could it be? A new teammate... a replacement? A deep rage began growing within Reyna and her eyes narrowed even more in anger.

"How dare you try to replace Deidara-san! Look at you! You don't even look like you're old enough to be away from home without your parents holding your hand! Deidara was ten times the shinobi you'll ever be!" Small blue sparks began arcing out of Reyna as she shouted in a rage. "How could you let them replace him?" She said sadly, her voice fading as she looked up at Midori. She didn't have the strength to be mad at her friend. After all, Midori had known Deidara for even longer than Reyna had, she knew full well how the girl felt.

Turning her attention back towards the little girl, Reyna almost sneered as she saw that the little girl looked like she was about to cry. But instead, Reyna simply sighed, defeated... "Sorry... I..." Closing her mouth, she didn't know what else to say.

Shockwave, red
Ryo Katsu
Shockwave,

Ghost ANBU member,
Waiting.

He had a good view point on the branch he was standing on. On the edge of the forest, he and several others were stationed to receive the group that would come from the Frost country, thus out of the dominion of the Cloud. He looked at his right, seeing another member of the Ghost ANBU. Wearing a darker shade of ANBU clothing and masks, that weren't resembling anything but a white pale color, Ryo wondered what each story was behind the few people who were assigned to this mission. It was supposed to be an escort mission, but considering that they, a few Ghost ANBU members had been sent, Ryo wondered who they would need to escort.

Crounching down on the branch, he tried to spot the other members that were present. Slowly his thoughts went to think about what each one had as a story. But considering that they were recruited into the small corps, Ryo didn't assume that it would be that fairly interesting to him. They would be likely the same as his or perhaps just too distant for him to understand them properly. His thoughts then went to how many other Ghost ANBU there would be. In his own somewhat naive thoughts, he had thought only Team 4 was picked out for this. But when he had heard he would be assigned with others than who he knew, Ryo couldn't help to but to feel stupid. As if only Team 4 was such a capable team to be considered for something like the Ghost ANBU.

Satoshi Jun, lightsalmon
Satoshi Jun
Kumogakure Jounin | Team 3

Patiently waiting till both his students were done talking, Satoshi was a bit surprised when Riku had said that he a second personality. It wasn't much of a surprise for Satoshi, as it had been in the boy's profile, but he had priory decided before this meeting that he wouldn't talk about it until it was either Riku's wish or perhaps becoming a problem, for him to participate as a shinobi. Keeping a calm expression, Satoshi considered what he would say about that, as he considered that ignoring it would have an undesired effect. ''I already knew and am glad that you were brave enough to tell us that, Riku. If that doesn't earn some respect, then I don't know what will.'' Satoshi said.

But he then gestured to the field with the obstacles. ''Though I don't mind to continue our nice talk, it is time for the first training. You see here a hordes of obstacles that needs to be taken. Without the use of chakra or any technique. As you might know, a shinobi needs to be fit and capable of holding his or her own in a battle. I want that you both take this course. Later on, you'll take it again after some training and hopefully then we can see how much each of you has grown.''

Grinning, Satoshi would watch how they would need to overcome the steeps two hills. After that they would need to crouch or tiger underneath a net. Only to then climb a wooden wall, with some foot hold spread a bit around. But after having climbed the wooden wall, they would need to try to jump down and land, from a height of two and halve meters. Not very simple if one didn't had chakra. But the meanest of obstacle would be the brick wall. One that wouldn't offer any small help like the wooden one. A wall that was three time the height of a normal man.

''Good luck.''

Katsumi Fūryoku
Kumogakure, Guard Commander
Location: Guard Commander Office
Katsumi stood by the window, gazing out into the streets where the busy and uneasy life of the citizens that resided in the village were bustling around the different shops. But did they know about the murder? The murder of Waki, the previous Jounin Commander and now the previous deceased jounin commander. How ignorant of the situation everyone must be, she thought to herself. Once the police force assembled outside the offices she would begin splitting them up into two or three groups.

Or did she want to keep them in one group? One group, would most likely intimidate the public. They would be less willing to talk, too scared of the consequences and their answers could be false. Maybe it would be better if she took the Cheif with her out into the streets to ask questions, two people would be better than one. Although, they could easily recognize someone from the police force, so maybe just her. She had sent out her two owl summons, told them to keep an eye out on everything and to alert her to any unrest. Dai had reported back that the area she was watching seemed relatively calm, Fuyu had yet to report back.

That was when Fuyu came, she flew in through the window and landed on the perch quite nicely.
"Katsumi, there is nothing amiss in my area. Only small arguments," Fuyu said, she made a cluck sound with her tongue before leaning towards Katsumi. Katsumi smiled at the affectionate owl, stroking her beak and head before the owl summon left the office to resume her scouting. Maybe I will go out and ask the citizens, I have after all not been out in the village lately...

Daiki Shun,
Kirigakure Chuunin | Team 14 squad leader

Listening to each of his squad members, Daiki had kept up a calm expression. He heard mostly what he already had learned from their profiles, but was a bit surprised when Shika began about the situation Kirigakure was presently in. He had a different and more grim view on the situation, but suspected that he also had a different experience than Shika. ''I didn't see what happened, though I must honestly say that I'm glad that I never saw a Tailed beast rampaging around. Seeing the damage, I don't think I would've been remotely brave enough to get near such a creature.'' Daiki said. ''Though our first mission is revolved around that event that has transpired.'' Daiki made a gesture to the ruined house.

''Though not as exciting as throwing around with weaponry or taking down somebody, I must say that helping out our people, with rebuilding houses is what a shinobi at times must do. This small house will need some care and we'll rebuild it together.'' Daiki said with a serious tone. He could understand if the three would like to have more combat training or a mission where they could show their worth, but that was with this mission was for. Showing their worth to the people, in other ways than just being capable fighters.

Some workers already came around the corner, carrying materials and tools. ''And what a timing.'' Daiki mumbled, a bit amused. ''Each of you or together will help out these men and women in rebuilding this house. I want you all to work hard enough that the family who lost their home can move before the night back into it.'' Turning half around, Daiki gave them a smile. ''I however, am briefly needed elsewhere. I'll be back soon.'' Without waiting for his students to reply, Daiki already walked away as the workers laid out the materials and started to repair the damage that was done to the home. The roof would need to be repaired as it had some big holes in it. Some holes in the wall would need to be filled up again with stone and what not. And of course the rubble would be needed to carried outside and piled up properly. Not very combat exciting indeed, Daiki thought as he kept walking towards his next and somewhat short appointment.

Aniru Kazen
Amegakure jounin-sensei
Tea shop

One after one her students seem to be dripping inside. The first one, Takada Mitsunari or whatever, was already there. He was rather loud, annoying and... kind of charming in a strange way. Nazari almost ordered Kazen to introduce herself to her student but she let him take the first move, "A pleasure to meet you as well, my Lady" Tsk, choice of words! She was a woman all right but to be called lady?! "Pleased to meet you too, Takada-kun" She replied with a small smile, her voice dripping with poison. Maybe he was not that charming at all.

Then there was this shy kid Akihiko Ken. Being awfully polite, "Goodnight, my name, as you might already know, is Akihiko Ken, of the Ken Clan. Though I doubt you've heard of us. My family is........ was very secretive. I am honored to be placed under your tutelage and I hope to excel with your guidance." She hated that. Of course Mitsunari had to react on him "It's a pleasure, I'm sure. I'm Mitsunari, of the reputable Takeda clan. Hope you'll do well with me." Maybe this was going to be fun after all. Kazen politely introduced herself to the young man "Im sure you'll do fine Akihiko-kun" She had to bit her tongue to not make a snarky remark, but she promised Nazari to be more mature

Last but not least was the young Shinra, when she walked in Kazen immediately cheered up! A girl! She started to stammer an apology for being late but before she was finished Kazen already stood next to her swinger her arm around the shoulders of the girl "Don't worry, girl, Azuha-chan i take it? Welcome to the team." She smiled form ear to ear.

When they finally sat at the table and it was ready to begin Nazari stated it would be a long night. Kazen looked at Nazari, then from Azuha and smiled, to Akihiko and crinkled her nose, and to Takada and sighed 'It's gonna be a long night indeed' she thought to herself

Tora Hatake
Kirigakure Jounin, Sensei of Team 11

Kirigakure Trainingfield 3

After Kumoga spoke, Tora did not reply, but merely moved to sit on the ground and placed the kunai on the ground in front of her "If that was the lesson, I wouldn't be the target, nor would I be staying still. Targets are mostly on the move, and if they do stay in place, you can be that they wont constantly have their eyes on you." She spoke in a calm look while motioning for both her students to sit down on the grass as well.

"What I was trying to show you is very different, and its an important lesson from two aspects. One is that if the enemy caught sight of you, he will most likely do anything to keep track of all the moves you do. At this scenario you do not need to attempt to trap the target, but instead focus on a way of becoming invisible to their eyes once more." She said and picked up the kunai with her right hand, holding it very clearly in front of both of them.

She then suddenly slipped a kunai out of her left sleeve and held it tightly with her left hand "The second is the reason I asked you to listen carefully Kumoga. If the target was not me and someone else, you would've wanted to go and aid Takeshi the moment you heard him act, correct? Because that wouldn't have been the wisest of moves. At a case of a target spotting one of your team members while you still remain hidden, its best to try and move to a spot from which you can use the advantage of surprising the target from the shadows, while keeping an eye on your team member and if needed, simply attacking from the shadows to aid your team member if he requires help can already give a huge leverage."

Now placing both kunai on the grass, Tora let out a short sigh "Both your tactics were good, but heres a small note for each of your. Takeshi, a single kunai isnt enough of a distraction, as its easy to avoid and still keep a track of you. Kumoga, good use of your hidens, but ensure you keep a close eye on your opponents stance. If I had my legs spread apart your tactic would've worked." She said and then gave both of them a smile "Dont consider these as true failures, but as lessons for future missions. Now, heres another mission for you, and the one who manages to achieve it first will get to go home early while the other one will get punished."

She looked behind her and gave a small nod to two figures who were seemingly waiting next to the entrance of the training field. Both nodded and headed in different directions outside of the training field "I just sent two of my clones to roam the village. You need to track them and ensure they dont spot you for a single moment. After 30 minutes, you need to try and set up a trap for the clone while still tracking it. First one to capture the clone will get to go home. If both of you fail, I'll have you spar and the first one who will manage to keep his opponent stuck to a certain tree I'll mark will win. You can both start now, as my clones have started to go, but they start by walking slowly." She said before moving to sit in a medidating pose and closing her eyes, breathing deeply.

Talking with some clan heads,
Mingling,

A collab between Gerontis and Alice

-----------------------------------------------------------

Summary :
Kiyomi meeting up with some clan heads during the feast, talking and interacting with them.

[spoili]
Kiyomi tapped with her right foot at a shadow, of a nearby table. She wanted to go and seek out some people, but a man with dark brown hair approached her. He had two scars at his right cheek and had a rather stern look. ''Your majesty?'' The man made a bow and Kiyomi wondered for a moment who he was. ''If I might be so bold, I wish to ask you something.'' Kiyomi smiled as she nodded. ''Please, ask away.'' Still trying to figure out who this man was, from what clan or country, her eyes widened as she heard his question.

''I was wondering if you were truly raised and educated by Hiron Hon, your majesty, if you would please forgive me being so bold to ask. But I was wondering when I could meet the adoptive daughter of my nephew. Yet, here I'm talking to an empress''

Kiyomi was puzzled by the question, but then understood it a moment later. This man was nobody else than the head of the Sarutobi clan! An ally of the Hon's, but more importantly, this was somebody who she should get support from. ''Y-Yes, I were. Thank you very, Lord-'' ''Please, your majesty. I wouldn't like to be called lord, but rather just Ling Sarutobi. After all, I'm your humble and most loyal servant.'' The man flashed a warm smile as he then told her something with a rather friendly tone. ''I must say that the rumours don't do you any good, your majesty.'' The man began and his words confused Kiyomi slightly. For a moment, she wasn't sure what he meant with that. ''May I then ask what you had expected of me, Ling-san?'' Kiyomi asked, still puzzled.

''You see, I'm acquainted with Hiron. A good person and I can understand he could educate and raise a fine kunoichi under his care. But I must apologize, I had never imagine that he would be able to raise somebody who can be both inspiring with deeds as with words, your majesty.'' The man made another short bow towards Kiyomi. She felt slowly growing warm. ''I must say that I hadn't expected the Sarutobi clan head to be so bold.'' Kiyomi smile grew. She liked this man. ''Would you like to visit me tomorrow, Ling Sarutobi?'' But quickly Kiyomi added something. She had to think of the lessons and instructions of Meisa. ''Cause I would like to know about... well, a relative of sort of mine.'' Kiyomi said, though she had a hunch that Ling wouldn't mind her losing her game for a moment.

Her words made the man nod and then salute towards her, a grin being displayed on his face. ''Your majesty, I'll be yours to command whenever you wish for a sturdy shinobi and supporter. The Sarutobi clan is proud to see a person raised by Hiron as the one who will lead us.'' With that the two went separate ways. Though it still surprised her, she was curious. Hiron was half a Sarutobi and though Kiyomi had never really anything to do with them, she was glad that somehow Hiron's connection with her made that clan support her. Growing a bit more confident, Kiyomi spoke with a few other guests. She however kept herself not standing too long, talking to somebody. There were a lot of people and she knew that she had to make sure she had to divide her attention, next to make sure she wouldn't be caught talking to some people.

All the while, she would make sure that she kept reminding herself of the lessons and instructions.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Picking up the cake, she carefully went back towards the three that were standing around a small high table. When she approached the group, who consisted out of a 'broad' man, a taller and slimmer man with a stern look and a woman with long blond hair, she smiled as she heard already the reaction.

''Your majesty!'' The man looked serious as Kiyomi shook her head. ''Please, Lord Akimichi-san. Accept it as I've heard you were rumored to be one of the finest tasters of cake. I hope that this cake shows how much I'm grateful to be in the presence of such a honorable men and women as you three.'' Kiyomi made a short lady-like bow, something she had practiced for this feast. The man's cheeks gained a reddish tint as he looked around. A man with a rather serious expression started to smile, his hands at his back, while a woman with long blond hair shook her head. But she also had a smile on her lips. The leader of the Akimichi made a deep bow towards Kiyomi, holding up a small cake in his hands. ''Your majesty, please accept then my service as I'll let you know how much I have enjoyed from this cake. But let me already tell you that your manners and actions are what would me feel proud to be called your servant.'' The man said. Kiyomi smiled. She spoke a bit with the Nara and Yamanaka heads. Asking questions, they started to get into a light weighted discussion regarding the old bond between the three clans. Eventually Kiyomi listened to the Nara head, who had started to tell her a story. One where the woman often had to correct him on some 'small' details.

''And there we were. All chuunin ranked and outnumbered. There were like a whole horde of bandits, your majesty. Ready to charge at us, probably trying to overwhelm us with their advantage of sheer numbers.'' The man paused as he grinned. The Yamanaka woman sighed as she then chimed in. ''There were like eight of them, your majesty.'' ''Shhhh, I was going to tell her this.'' The Nara head replied back. The Akimichi head was too busy with taking bites of the small cake, like if he had forgotten where he was. But Kiyomi was actually enjoying herself. It were conversations like these that she didn't mind to have. It was interesting to meet and talk with some people, without needing to watch herself because they were so evidently against her or trying to find an opening.

Much to her regret, Kiyomi said after the story was finished that she had to talk to some other guests. Politely asking if the three would like to visit her tomorrow, they surprised her. The Nara clan smiled as he explained why. ''We don't see a real need, your majesty. Seeing your actions in the past and your... speech, it is clear that many will support you. Besides, I don't think that too much politics for our clans would be something we three would personally enjoy.''

The answer made Kiyomi smile as she said that she was glad to have subjects who were content with being like that. Promising to the Akimichi head that they would later however discuss about cake and where she had gained her recipe, Kiyomi walked around. She found out that people did not really easily spot her. Even though her appearance and status would be easily to make her stand out, the lessons of Meisa showed their effect. After each conversation, she managed to walk around and stay on the background.

But then she noticed a man approaching her. His eyes told her enough of who this was. ''Your majesty, I wish to compliment you with that fine speech. I am still even impressed that you're not only a fine kunoichi, but also seems to be a capable leader.'' The Hyuuga made a bow, but Kiyomi didn't feel flattered by his words. He had spoken them with a rather neutral tone. She smiled and thanked him as she should. But she knew better. The man reacted cause like almost everybody, he had probably noticed that some of her speech was directed towards people like the Nimatsu clan. Which the man disliked. Kiyomi was well aware of why and how, something she didn't need Meisa for to understand that the man would even have helped her if she had demanded the heads of the current Nimatsu. Somewhere it made her feel bad, as she wanted to see and talk to Kensuke.

''If you would forgive your humble servant, your majesty, but would you accept me tomorrow to visit you? I can understand if you were busy or rather be dealing with something else than politics, as I can understand that they can be tiresome for some.'' The man said, smiling towards Kiyomi. She wanted to narrow her eyes and give back a mean comment, as she understood that the man said that she wasn't really suited for politics, as it was tiresome for some after all. Only masked in a nice phrase and words. Smiling, she nodded. ''I would be most certainly be happy, Lord Hyuuga. Though I must inform you that politics don't tire me. I would be interested to even suggest a more personal conversation. Your clan has some manners and traditions that have intrigued me. I would love to hear where such manners and traditions have come from as they have formed a most noble clan that is known today as the Hyuuga.''

The answer seemed to surprise the Hyuuga, who hadn't likely been able to see her answer in such a manner. For a moment, the man opened his mouth a bit, but not a word left him. Making a deep bow, he held his head lowered while he spoke back. ''Your majesty, you would do me almost no greater honor with such a request. I wouldn't dare to dream to say no to that.'' He told her. Yes, of course you wouldn't. You would likely wish that I would then let you suck up my boot and then kick down your rivals for you. Miserable bastard. Kiyomi's thought were well hidden as she smiled and said that she was looking forward to speak soon with the man. Their conversation stayed short and Kiyomi felt a bit angry that she couldn't say what she thought of people who thought she was so blind and naive. But her time would come, she was sure of it.

While Kiyomi hoped that she could get some peace or be able to breath a few moments without needing to watch what she would say, she noticed somebody approaching her from the left. A young man, accompanied by a somewhat older man. Turning around, she could see the crest of the Senju. ''Your majesty.'' The young man said, but his bow wasn't that deep as formally should be. As such, Kiyomi didn't reply back nor nodded to acknowledge his greet back. It stayed silent for a moment. ''Might I compliment you on your fine speech, your majesty?'' The young man asked, on which Kiyomi nodded. ''Yes, you may.'' For a moment the young man seemed to think about something and then made a deeper bow. ''I must then compliment you on the behalf of the Senju clan. We're glad to see that Konohagakure has thrived under the care and leadership of the Fire Union. We hope that might continue under yours as well, your majesty.''

Smiling a bit, Kiyomi made a smaller bow back as she received his compliment. ''You can rest assure Lord Senju, that I'll continue to strive to keep not only Konohagakure, but the whole nation prospering as it did under the Fire Union.'' Her words made the young man node. ''I'm pleased to hear so, your majesty. If you however don't mind, I would like to send one of my advisors tomorrow to pay you a visit. With the other clan heads and such.''

''It would be much appreciated, Lord Senju, though I was hoping for you to come and join in the talking. Never the less, I'm willing to receive anybody who you deem worthy to send.''

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taking a seat, Kiyomi was feeling a bit tired. But she had managed to talk with most of the guests. Throwing a glance around, she had spoken with most of the clan leaders. Those who she needed to speak and those who had came to her. There were a few who she had been short too, making it clear that it wasn't her that was on thin ice, but they. The feast had made one thing clear and that was that what many first assumed was wrong. Her claim on royalty wasn't strong, but Kiyomi didn't ever consider that to be a problem. Meisa had taken care of the loopholes and knowing how to use any disadvantage against those who would oppose them. Zakito and Hisoka's reputation of backing her up would only reinforce the public opinion and then her own reputation would be enough to persuade the 'commoners'. While she enjoyed her brief moment of rest, Kiyomi knew she had to talk to a few more clan heads. But while she thought of who more were to follow, she wondered where her guests from the Lightning Country were.
