Naga Dunia Roleplay - A Discord Community​

Some guy in a lab coat stands in the middle of a room that fit all sci-fi stereotypes with his underling: "Whatever you do, never press this button. It will trip the division generator and cause complete multiversal distortion."
The underling, a recent college graduate student that had failed to read the job description on one of the ten sites she applied on, looks at the presumably mad scientist employer she was stuck with: "Sir, why do we even have that button if it would cause a disaster of that scale?"
The probably certified mad scientist gives her a bright smile. "To fight off a disaster of even greater proportions!"
The poor grad looks even more concerned: "Uh... what might that be?"
The mad scientist laughs: "When the true creators of this world and all the others run out of stories to tell! It would be a complete apocalypse!"
The grad student checks her phone, surprised to see that one of the other tech divisions she applied to was asking when she could start. The newly newly employed grad clears her throat. "Well, um. I suppose we should lock up this room so no one can push the button."
The two leave the room, and a comedic amount of locks tumbling signified the securing of the room. No less than two minutes later, a white dog teleports directly on top of the Button of Doom. A bright flash goes across all realms as the histories and locations of the worlds and their people converge into a singular anomaly.

This conjoining of worlds has created a single unstable reality in which numerous races from various walks of life and levels of technology are learning to coexist. Dragons and magic exist alongside futuristic elements and enhanced soldiers, while comic book superheroes have the unique experience of punching aristocratic vampires in the face. A roomba maintains the typical high fantasy adventurer's guild, a knight questions the purpose of an iPad, and cyborgs learn the art of swordsmanship.

Rules and Guidelines

Community Rules
• We are a PG-16 server, no NSFW images or sex scenes in the roleplay, please and thanks. Keep your porn to yourself.
• Swearing is allowed, just don't over use it.
• Don't be a dick. If there is an issue, DM @GM and be prepared to submit screenshots outlining the issue.
• Alternate accounts are not allowed.
• No flashy or extremely rapid gifs.
• No earrape or extremely loud sounds in the voice channels.
• No harassing other players in DMs.
• If you're asked to stop a particular action, stop.
• No promoting illegal actions, links to illegal streaming or torrenting, you can have your outlaw characters but promoting people to do crime in real life is a no no.
• No images or videos of animal cruelty.
• Promotion or glorification of self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide is strictly prohibited.
• No suicidal threats.
• No disruptive or controversial behavior.
• Roleplay is not an obligation, real life comes first. Have fun!

RP Guidelines
• Character death can occur depending on in-character decisions. Should there be a player planning on killing another player's character, please discuss it in a group dm with @GM team and the other player.
• Descriptions of violence/injuries are allowed, but please use discretion and if you believe the content might be triggering, put a Content Warning for what's in the message and put the message in a spoiler.
• When making a region affecting event (for instance an earthquake, blizzard or undead horde) please consult with GM's first.
• There is a maximum of 5 active characters in one location per player in order to keep things organized.
• When creating a new character, consult the @GM team via DM in order for it to be approved. We do not approve of god-tier characters.
• Overpowered actions must have a serious consequence to the character.
• There is a major cool down on ultimate ability use in the roleplay.
• Give people time to react to your posts. @AshenAngel is a slow dinosaur typer, and they probably aren't the only one. #wearenotextinct.
• Teleportation and other instant travel is an ability with use restrictions, the limit being 10 times per roleplay day. Do not abuse this ability in combat.
• Flight is not an instant travel, it takes time to fly from location to location.
• In-character conflict should not become a personal player vs player conflict. Should there be any questions or concerns about in character actions, or if there is an issue with @GM in-character action, discuss in #out-of-character-chat and keep things civil and respectful.

Recent happenings in Naga Dunia:

In the months following the Takopalypse, a peacekeeping organization from the UEA known as Overwatch has begun making allies and establishing connections. Agents of Haos' Arches have been assigned to work alongside Overwatch in order to learn more of the new world they find themselves in.

A crystalline fungus threatened the world with its rapid expansion, causing infected animals to become hostile and erratic, and individuals who were exposed to the spores to enter a comatose state. The crystals also amplified abilities. People who made physical contact with the crystals were quickly engulfed by them and put into a sort of stasis. The Arches of Haos developed a fungicide that was able to break down the crystals and brought people back from their comatose and stasis states. Overwatch proceeded to disperse the cure globally, as well as launch a mission to destroy the source of the crystalline fungus. With the assistance of three Arches agents, Overwatch successfully eliminated the underwater source of the crystals.

An adventurer's guild has opened in the heart of the dangerous Rudinera Forest, run by a rather shocking brother and sister duo, as well as the Roomba affectionately named Doomsday, or Doomy for short. Doomy's hobbies include providing rides for Squeaklings, a group of tiny black creatures that attempt to help out around the guild, as well as terrorizing the timid boar named Chops.

The Kingdom of Torik has placed a bounty on a man called Havoc for the use of magic and disruption of the peace. His display of power sparked the tides of rebellion in the nation as closeted magic users began to protest the laws against magic usage. Agent Reinhardt and his squire Brigitte of Overwatch have begun touring the country on a diplomatic mission, and are looking to participate in the Grand Tournament.

The Unholan Empire sets its sights on the new continent, grabbing land and burning through resources. Refugees from the south have inundated the trade city of Therias, and a rebel force has been organized to hold the line against Unhola across Dorta Dunes. Overwatch had not yet been cleared to act upon their knowledge of the Unholan expansion, but have managed a few covert operations against them, 'kidnapping' a top engineer from the Unholan Capital and giving her and her children a safe home in the UEA. The Reaper and Soldier 76 are wanted by Unhola as a result.

The city limits of Therias have expanded significantly due to a public works project implemented by Lafayette Industries in order to ease the refugee crisis that has been putting strain on the city. Therias University prepares for the largest incoming class it has seen since its founding, calling in a number of well known experts in their respective fields to assist in teaching additional courses.

In the city of Mirenia, an explosion with multiple casualties rocked an elderly woman's estate, and local authorities are asking for witnesses to come forward. In brighter news, a new family run library has opened in the medieval quarter. A small number of individuals from the nearby Unholan occupied town of Kerta have slapped together a small rebel group that has been thwarting Unhola's discrete attempts at expanding into Mirenia, and the police have been alerted to the impending threat. A former agent of the Arches and several members of Overwatch stand at the ready to protect the people of Mirenia, though Mirenia's underworld might not take too kindly to their presence.

Overwatch agent McCree and Arches agent Case established contact with the dwarven hold of Zhufbar during their scouting mission. Here they gained knowledge of the dwarves nemesis, the intelligent and just a tad unhinged ratmen. They earned the titles Deadeye McCree and Depthstalker, respectively, at the outpost tavern for their feats of service. A future diplomatic mission has been planned between all three parties.

Our fall event has kicked off, sending characters into the depths of the buried and forgotten Rudinera Kingdom, where a swarm of talking spiders have taken up residence beside some more conspicuous haunting neighbors.

The war against Unhola has officially kicked off as the start of the revolution has reached Kerta. The Unholan commend center has been blown sky high by Soldier 76 and Reaper.
