Tokyo Japan - HA Tower
April 9th

On the former grounds of the UA Highschool sat a massive complex of pristine urban skyscrapers rising almost like the tips of a crown with a grand stadium at it's center, its centerpiece "jewel" was the original UA High school building. Here was on display all of the wealth, status and power, of what used to be several schools strung across the country, dozens of hero offices and corporate power of the Hero Association. A venerable City within a city and yet all the same a tiny slice of the Tokyo skyline.

To say it was as awe inspiring as it has shown the current state of the UA would not be an exaggeration. Within it's walled structure was the united might, raining centers and offices of the UA, or at least a large percentage of them, some heroes even stayed on the grounds and their were shops, labs and an assortment of services aimed at providing all the services a Hero could need. But of course that did not change the fact one needs new numbers or that some forms of cooperation and agreements were needed. Tokyo of note and Japan in particular was a massive stretch of land in some regard, to let one run up and down it as they pleased would not serve the UA well.

So a "solution" of sorts was developed by the the HA board of directors and then Head Master Gregori, at the first business and school year the UA would have a grand ceremony, to induct new heroes to summon the various hero offices, to meet up, swap and trade contacts. And most importantly to draw up where a given group of heroes should work and operate. It would be pointless and harmful to just allow the heroes to gang up in one given location, advancement would be pointless, some areas would be unmanned and some would be wasting manpower.

Be it by luck, machinations on the part of Allo and Kaz or the divine hand of a greater purpose, many of those from the old class 1A and a few new names would be grouped up and had a chance to talk one another, some having not seen one another in nearly three years, others being around one another for some time. After welcoming the students, heroes in training in fact, a more casual atmosphere would descend upon the several of dozens of people assembled in this central lobby, carts of snacks and refreshments being rolled out so they could get to know one another before a days hard work would commence... Well for some of them at least. This group would mostly be in South Western Tokyo and the immediate surroundings outside of the city.

Tokyo Japan - ANVIL Headquarters

Overlooking Tokyo bay sat the Headquarters of ANVIL in what used to be a JMSDF Arsenal site, formed as a response to the lawlessness and terrorism gripping Japan before a Military intervention was needed, the new State Police force was on partial display. A parade formation was arranged, though it was a solemn affair, introducing recruits fresh from Winter training to the ranks for the most part, as Misoka stood out for review. Behind her on the arsenal grounds was a converted office space, with the Flags of Japan and ANVIL on full display, blowing in the wind, before her however stood dozens if not hundreds of ANVIL troopers, most in Dress Uniform, with hands clasped behind their backs, the ocean beyond them and dozens of warehouses, hardened bunkers, helicopters and even a few APC's and SUV's. The full might, or what the bureaucrats in suits allowed it anyways. Somewhere out there was her daughter, but she would not take the time to look for her, her calling was much higher than one family, even her own.

Looking out among the crowd she salutes, with a large black Great coat on and a paramilitry style dress black uniform she looks on briefly as a few other senior officers were seated or standing alongside her, depending on their function, not just from ANVIL but from the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice and the Central Government, functionaries for the most part, there to look the part in a show of solidarity.

"New faces and old, those who have came here to lend your strength I welcome you, in our goal of protecting Japan. There is much and more I could say, but I think the Parade alone and our other guests will keep you here long enough, in the days and trials to come, remember you are a Shield of the Japanese people and nation. We withstand the blows to forge the blade so that with it we may know peace.. As of late, situations have forced our hand to act in manners we were not meant, but our orders are absolute. In times of doubt and struggle, even against threats that may push you to the limit, remember your comrades in arms, remember that no matter how weak individually, together we are strong.

We shall withstand any blows that are launched upon us and send these threats to Japan howling into the Darkness, and if need be we will silence those howls as well! We do not fight for money, nor for fame, but for our sacred soil, for lives lost and lives yet to be saved. Trust in your Commanders and in yourselves. May fate be with you as surely as the Rising Sun."

Snapping into a salute, the others in the vast formations do the same, as the activities roll into a review parade and a swearing in for some new Officers, the time would pass in much the same manner as in HA, but with less pomp and lower quality food waiting for them within the Barracks block, orders were posted and squads would be formed. So far Ayame was one of the Platoon commanders for a Rapid Response Force that would Operate in South Western Tokyo and it's outskirts.

Ayame Daichi & Kanna Tanaka

"Hmm.. So Kanna is still with me.. And we'll mostly be here or in Station Twelve..." Thinking aloud and reading their orders, ANVIL mostly operated off of regional training depots and block house stations. Split up in regional basing formations and rapid response units, ANVIL kept it's manpower centralized to a few areas and the HQ, relying on rapid response to Quirk related Terrorism, though more and more they were being called in for normal police duty and quirk enforcement actions. Something that did not sit well with the red panda girl, still as her mother had said, orders were mostly absolute.

Behind her was a collection of sports drinks, bottled tea, bottled water, MRE components, instant noodle cups and whatever snacks and meals the base troops would make within their subunits. In this case it was mostly some sweets from Mimi and Rice cakes from Kanna... On that note she allowed her vision to drift off from the deployment sheet, curious how the other would react to..that bit of news.

For her part Kanna was mostly smiling, looking on at the others, reading the names of those with them, many were the same, a few were new and a few more were people she knew that were in other units till now, but one name of note had the woman in a pleasant mood. After all it was someone who once tried to kill her.

"Ah, now to see if my nose was correct in just who I smelled.."

With those words out of her mouth, the miko picks up a rice cake, munching on it with a bottle of oolong tea. On such short notice it was a shame they didn't have time to cook something, have takeout from the Chinese place, or even the old if not spoiled fare that the used to enjoy in the UA. While they weren't poor the penny pinchers were always stingy, which suited Kanna just fine.

However it did not seem that hospitality was her interest in this new person, so much as hostility, or a test as it were, to see what they were made of.. or so it seemed to Ayame.

Nagaromi Ryushi

The Idle clicking of keystrokes mingling with the background noise ceased for a moment at those words. A lazy gaze underneath a mop head of white hair drifted from a laptop's screen to catch a side glance in response. Returning to the LEDs soft light, a light smile graced the man's face known simply as the White Elephant. Clad in the ANVIL official uniform for a change, it seemed to contrast poorly with his hair and pale skin. If restricting in his movements any, he didn't show it as he reached for a cold can of coffee to give his mouth something else to do. Tipping it back lightly, his gaze drifted lazily across the group before stopping on the pair of wolfish characters. One quite keen of clinging to the other.

HQ is getting desperate, bringing in criminals. He thought to himself.

Replacing the can on the crate next to himself, he was perched on top of a plastic container of supplies much like those scattered around the room. Busying himself with the logistics of the new unit, while it wasn't on the list of his official duties, assisting with administrative tasks was common for him. The idle clack of keys continued after the slight interruption as he revisited the log of numbers and compared them against the current log to his left. There were slight inconsistencies in the more popular items, which was to be expected. But nothing major or worth reporting as he ran through the data, noting all the minute differences or misplaced items. Rather mundane and tedious work, but work that distracted him from the ongoing assembly.

"Anvil... Anvil... Anvil... Urgh-" A small grumble of displeasure escaped Charlotte's small frame as she scrolled her thumb across her phone.

Charlotte's right leg bounced a bit where it laid hooked over the other. Her parasol rested on her lap while she idly gazed through the news on her phone while waiting for Isamu. Nearly all of it encompassed ANVIL or Misoka, or some other political issue, causing a small pout to grace her features. Couldn't the media find something else to write about? It wasn't as if the foreigner even disliked ANVIL specifically, merely that anytime they were brought up arguments and debates soon followed.

Glancing up from her phone, the event was quite busy. It held the practical reason of organizing the heroes into various districts, though it was also a good opportunity for Isamu and her. There was a good amount of networking to do and some possible recruitment for their agency. Charlotte didn't really know the business side of it; that was Isamu's department. However, talking to people was definitely her forte, and she needed to contribute in someway. The girl didn't care for the idea of her name only being attached to the agency because of relations and her popularity. If she couldn't do much with running it, then she could help with the image and interpersonal aspects at least!

And there was always the free treats and desserts for them afterwards, but of course that was a secondary objective.

Meanwhile, Masaru wandered the area a ways away. He knew networking was a good idea, but it was still tiring talking to so many people. Since he was still something of a freelancer, he got a few offers for positions at agencies, and even some offers for a sidekick, though reserved those for "consideration". He wasn't likely to jump in to just any agency, and he certainly wasn't looking for an aide. At the very least though, they would be connections he could use in the future.

Still, as time went on, he could only wonder how long it would be until they would be distributed. That was the primary point of this whole thing, after all. It was a bit boggling to see some treating this as a party. It didn't do much to relax Masaru though. If he wanted to entertain a celebration, it would've been more enjoyable among company he was familiar with. Either way, it would hopefully proceed soon.

"Eh... Ah..."

Murmuring to herself, a rather nervous-looking young woman observed the orders for her deployment. Glancing around, many of the others had viewed the postings and moved accordingly, and though there were plenty searching for their name, as more dispersed she couldn't help but worry that it wasn't there.

Shiori had wanted to help in some way, and though she felt her place wasn't as a hero, she could at the least enlist in ANVIL. Even if it was a bit controversial, not just in the eyes of the public, but within her own family, ANVIL was extra manpower to keep villains from hurting people. After the incidents with UA, just standing by wasn't an option. Still, even though she wanted to help—it was a bit problematic if she couldn't even calm down to find her name.

"You good?"

She jumped a bit, turning to eye the source of the voice. It was a tall boy with dark hair and matching eyes. He appeared built from what she could tell through the uniform. After a short pause, she stuttered out a response.

"A-Ah- Yes! I'm just looking for my name..."

"Which is?" He followed up immediately.

"U-Uh... Sunemizuki, Shiori..."

"Eh... Su-ne...-mi... Oh, you're there... Wait, I am too!" The boy replied with some surprise and a bit of glee. "Oh! Ayame's leading that platoon! Sweet, let's go!"

The boy with some vigor proceeded to jog off in a direction, giving Shiori little warning of the impending run. Stunned for a moment, she quickly shook herself free and ran after the strange man. It took them a little while, mainly as the mystery boy led her down a couple wrong turns. Eventually, they arrived, with Shiori breathing a sigh of relief. The boy's friendly expression signalling to her that they were finally in the right spot.

"Yo Ayame! Kanna!" He greeted the pair before becoming interested in the food fairly quickly. It was only rice cakes and other such budget delicacies, but the boy seemed to treat it like a buffet. Shiori wondered how he would react at an actual restaurant.

Regardless, she got to looking at the others in the group. Most didn't ring a bell, but there were a few who did.

"Ah-! From... the festival?" Shiori murmured aloud. It was hard not to recognize the small panda girl, features and all, and even more so the miko who still held an intimidating stature and aura.

Amaris Alucard
amaris face 3.png

Standing off to the side, was a dark-haired woman who, for once, was wearing a simple Anvil uniform just for this particular gathering. Not one who was partial to these stuffy, prudish ceremonies, Amaris's slightly grayed out eyes fell upon the new recruits standing shoulder-to-shoulder amongst the group. They looked as bored as she felt. She caught some of their eyes, and smirked as pink glazed over her eyes. She raised up her hand and childishly did the mocking talking motion as Misoka spoke.

Then lowered her hand, personally admonishing herself. Shadow Amaris enjoyed her freedom, she was recently noticing more and more. Her eyes swept over all the important dignitaries. None of them noticed a random sergeant's disrespectful motion. Not that she truly intended to disrespect Misoka or anything. As no one was paying attention to her, the woman disappeared into the shadows of the many people gathered there.

Infenri
fenri face.png

Among the new recruits was a pair of siblings with wolf quirks. They had recently been under house arrest for their various misdeeds, and for the first time in 3 years, were given some semblance of freedom. If you consider working for Anvil a sort of "freedom". Not that the purple-haired wolf girl did. But if it was for her brother, she could suffer through anything.

Still, she hated this type of sanctimonious assembly. Supposedly a show of solidarity, united against some sort of obvious "evil" or some other such nonsense. In reality, nothing more than a gathering showing off power and strength. But whatever.

Her mauve eyes were eagerly looking around for any thing that she could find amusing. They caught sight of some more-important looking person who did the mocking talking hand gesture. It was stupid. But enough to make Fenri smirk in satisfaction.

~~

A short while later, while gathered in their particular platoon. Just behind her, Amaris arose out of the taller miko's shadow. She leaped up and grabbed the taller woman around the neck, leaning over her shoulder. "Wass it me? Do I ssmell? Hope not.. that'd be embarrassiing," the sergeant teased slightly, ignoring all decorum and formalities as Shadow Amaris was want to do.

Not even giving the miko a chance to answer, she slid off and was once again gone off into the shadows. It was likely she was talking about the new recruits. Did they have smells that were unique? Her heightened senses didn't really include the sense of smell. Certainly it wasn't the boring one typing away on his computer over there.

Surely it had to be the new recruits. As they neared the food, Amaris creepily rose out of the shadows just behind them. "Boo~~!" the sergeant shouted into the boy's and girl's ears. "How wass it? The sswearing-in cceremony? Wass it fun?" Of course not. "Enjoying Anvil lifhe? Howz the food?" She asked, as a few rice balls drifted off the table atop wispy shadows and into her arms. Where she joined them with blood, she squeezed out of a pack. Only to begin eating as she awaited their answers.

Yosuke Banner.jpg
HA TowerSaizo Banner.jpg
It was time for the biggest gathering of heroes in the quite some time. With the arise of the new Government Program, ANVIL, the Heroes' Association was quickly reorganizing their system. There were easily over 400, maybe 500 pros all gathered in one place, all ready to be assigned a sector. How this was going to affect agencies was a little more complicated. But that wouldn't be an issue for the underdog, Yosuke. He had yet to start his own Agency. It was definitely in his plan, but he hadn't accomplished one important task yet: break top 100. Placing at an remarkably impressive 108th, Yosuke was not done. Even after rank 100, he wouldn't be even close to finish.

His best friends, Heisuke (ranked at 88th) and his beloved, Octavia (ranked 99th) both surpassed him. In fact, all of his former classmates still had him beat. It was something he thought often about, though he didn't let it affect his relationships too much. He had already told them his requirements to start and Agency with them. He wanted to go into business with them. But he needed to prove to everyone, himself included that he was the best of the best.

As he wandered around, searching for the woman with the bird on her shoulder, he could spot many highly recognized heroes as well as some who had been in the game longer and didn't hold a candle to his own rank. It was a harsh world it seemed. In fact, he even had a few heroes come up to him and congratulate him on his success and for some advice. His ego loved this, and of course he'd spout off some nonsense about 'justice' this and 'resolve' that. And there was some truth to what he said. In most cases, his resolve was just greater. But that wasn't something to say to his face directly. It would only swell his rapidly growing head.

It wasn't long after that he spotted Number 65: Chevalier. His old classmate, and someone he knew he could surpass some day, even if she were a hefty 43 ranks ahead of him. Still, his own pride aside, Charlotte was someone he was fond of. While never interacting terribly much in High School, she still had valuable insight in his appearance. In fact, she was part of the reason he had his current design (though the cape was his own addition.) He walked over to her, having lost Octavia in the crowd after using the restroom and gave her a greeting. "Yo, Chevalier. It's been a little while since we've met up in person. How you been?"

~~

A ways away an unfamiliar face to the old class reunion was making waves just outside the building. Just now arriving, the popular Pro and DJ BP-Minuteman was slowly strolling his way through the crowds of fans just outside. He took the time to greet each person, signing auto graphs, busting dance moves, and just being an overall chill dude. It took him longer than it really should have but the musical hero eventually managed to slip past the crowds and wave to them before strolling into the massive tower with one final "Alright be well Y'all! Signin' off!" He moved onward bopping to the beat of his music.

It was one of those boring days in the life of hero work, but still pretty important. He hoped he would be placed in a sector with some form of night-life. It would make setting up shop for a nightclub that much easier.

ANVIL Offices
Mimi Banner (2).png
Misaki was dressed in the standard ANVIL formal attire. On her head she wore a cap and her sleeve was embroidered with the symbol of 'Sergeant.' It was a big event, so Misaki had prepared a small treat for her platoon. There was a basket of pastries and candies, all handmade, clutched in her hand. She looked at the list of those who would be joining them, her eyes falling upon those who she hadn't been acquainted with through her time enrolled at the now disbanded UA High School, namely Infenri Kurogane, Takumi Souta, Shiori Sunemizuki, as well as Nagamori Ryushi. She could see that the both Shiori and Takumi had gone to greet their leader, Ayame who was paired with Kanna.

That left Infenri and Ryushi. In her days at UA, Mimi would have headed straight for the cute wolf girl. However, having already been somewhat acquainted with her and her brother, Misaki figured it would be better to discuss things with Ryushi. The issue now was tracking him down. She eventually was able to locate him inside the offices. He looked to be busying himself with similar office work that she occupies her own time with. She approached the stoic man, and gave a head nod toward him. "Nagamori Ryushi." She said as a greeting. She looked over at the work her was doing. It seemed mostly to be menial paperwork. Logging hours and inventory and other such duties. All as important as they were grueling.

She picked up one of the sheets he had gone over. It was thoroughly done. There wasn't a single letter, dot, cross, or punctuation out of place. As impressive as paperwork could be, this might have been a contender for the most impressive. "Good work." However, she wondered if paperwork was really the best thing to be doing today. They were a team, and it would be important to get to know each other. She took a deep breath. She was usually a girl of few words, however in a position of leadership to some degree she would need to comunicate a bit more effectively. "From your file, you know what you need to about your allies. Don't neglect to teach them about yourself." With that placed the basket of confections on the table in front of him. While mostly sweets and candies, there were a few dark chocolates as well. "Take one." She offered in good faith.

Fuyuki
fuyuki face.png

If there was a gathering if heroes at the Hero Association, then of course Fuyuki Gen had to be there! She would never miss out on such a prestigious, honored occasion! NEVER!

The silver-haired woman strolled around confidently in her beautiful, honorable, renowned Hero Regalia. That is to say, in a common school girl outfit, despite being out of school for years. She wore it like she was dressed as a Queen. It was her pride and joy. Her multi-colored eyes, signifying her heinous power trapped within, glanced around.

That was when she saw her, and the boy beside her. Leaping towards the pair, the Noble Silver savior was a streak of silver through the air. Hitting the ground, she rolled perfectly landing in spot beside the two in a kneeling position. Clutching her arm, she said the words through clenched teeth. "I knew it was you two esteemed heroes; Deep within I could feel it. The raging Golden Dragon sealed in my right side stirred. Those with power always stirr its ire. Despite the agonizing pain, I hold this sensation dear. This burning is my steadfast connection to you Chevalier, Gold Finger!! Grhhrr..!"

Then Fuyuki popped up. "Yo!" She chimed in good spirits, giving them a informal, casual salute. "How's it been? Thrown any villain off a roof lately, Chevalier? Made any ne'er do well beg for forgiveness and seek repentance, Gold Finger?"

"Ah! I heard you were ranking up solidly, Gold Finger! Passed 100 yet?"
Fuyuki asked with a bright smile framing her face. She of course had passed 100 not too long ago, and was immensely proud of that fact. Though, she was a bit sad knowing Gold Finger was still behind 100 when she had done so. She knew he especially wanted to be a well known, respected, high-ranking hero. Fuyuki tended to know these type of things about her fellow comrades in arms. And she could certain sympathize with being a well-known hero! That was her goal as well!

Nagaromi Ryushi

"Sergeant"

With a polite nod Ryushi welcomed the familiar face. Sergeant Misaki Miro, rather memorable for her short file. But harder to forget due to her deadpan stare and monotone voice. She was a hard contrast to the typical Japanese woman. Short, long hair, everything cute and nice, but hiding a demon deep within. Looking now she was the same height as him, and appeared to be larger in frame.

(Perhaps the demon rose to the surface.)

He mused jokingly to himself, maintaining his focus and keystrokes.

In all likelihood it was as she had a foreign background. Or at the very least foreign parents. Either way, he thought her better company than that of the pup without manners who couldn't follow simple etiquette.

"My pleasure."

With a smile, he recalled it had been a while since anyone had complimented his busy work. So long as it got done, most would rather not look into the how or with what quality it was completed. Shortly there after she hit him with a line he hadn't expected. The delivery made it even more bizarre with how a voice so devoid of emotion advised "sharing with others". A chuckle would have escaped him if he were in the presence of lesser rank, but remembering his place his mouth clasped into a grin instead.

"Thank you..."

Leaving his laptop without attention, he inspected the basket from above. Most of the sweets he had no interest in and he thought to kindly refuse the gesture. But, spotting some rather dark looking chocolate and thinking more politely. He lightly pulled from the basket a chocolate shaped much like a panda. Staring at it a moment the focus in his eyes wandered off to somewhere else, but no longer than if he had merely been deciding to indulge himself. Leaning back, he put the panda next to his can of coffee before addressing Misaki again.

"I'll be sure to introduce myself. Sergeant. But right now, it's best that I finish this. I'm meeting with a client soon, so there won't be much time to converse."

This was a lie.

"Unfortunately, work is very demanding." He concluded.

Grinning once more with closed eyes, Ryushi returned his attention to his laptop. Inner thoughts strung to a different tune than his words.

(It's not as if they would remember an introduction. They'd sooner to be back to their trivial lives.)

The only notable thing about him was his families wealth. His quirk was too passive for their line of work to be dependable. His interests either too luxurious or mundane for their attention. Unless they were paired together for a mission there was no need for any of them to "know about him". His imagined "wealth" was all anyone needed to know to make up their minds. Assumption being a beast only second to ignorance in robustness. He would operate with professionalism regardless of the circumstance. He needn't to gain familiarity by appealing to their sensibilities.

Aurora - U.A. Tower

"Tall, brooding, avoiding socializing, and generally just bored... yep your Masaru,"
a rather motherly voice chuckled behind Masaru as a small disruption could be felt upon the ground of his foot work as a rather tall blonde woman headed straight up to him offering him a glass of juice as she held two. Once her offering hand was free she would bring both hands to hold her own glass momentarily as she motioned a polite nod to him. As she approached her hair moved into a collective bun. Aurora had grown quite a bit taller towering over her conversation partner as she continued to smile calm, and collective as ever. Her presence exuded her kind nature causing anyone to hear she battled like a Valkyrie from Norse lore shocked in disbelief though Masaru himself being one of many who knew this to be true having fought along side her on the rare occasion. Just like Masaru though Aurora was a freelancer currently, and a rather aggressive one having done many of her own cases solo, or finding her way mid case into another groups ongoing basically more then not offering to help with whatever info was available. That or being called in to help with more aggressive quirks, or highly tricky enemies.

"So what has the lone wolf Ice King Hozan been up to," she lightly teased with a soft push on his shoulder with her free hand clearly happy to run into a old family face even if it was someone she hadn't interacted with in a long while. Looking around it was impressive to say the least how much her father, Uncle Kaz, and the now retired Principle Gregori had accomplished in such a short few years. A massive conglomerative collection of Japans hero's working out of one solid command center. Every need was met whether it was housing, supplies, gear... the list went on, and on. The mass event was also a good way for new blood to make contacts, or find agencies to join of the old blood, and give said old blood a chance to help the newer generation prepare for the long road ahead. A ever working clockwork cycle that trained those to protect japan from the villains at hand.

"Heh could you imagine if we were the budding generation coming into this setup? I feel like i would be quickly overwhelmed by it all... how's Chiaki been by the way haven't been able to visit her in awhile given the rush of underground issues I've been dealing with lately," Aurora followed up conversing with the ice man clearly not planning to let him off easy without catching up a little. She had a whole day to follow on potential work connections, and already had many from her freelancing. It was rare for her to have a chance to just socialize, and dammit she was going to enjoy it for a moment.

Jettitare - U.A Tower

To say today was suppose to be calm would be a rather misforgiven lie. The whole event was extremely lively, vibrant, and rather boisterous especially to the rather heavy nighttime hero. So much was the day time foreign to him now Jettitare himself wished he could go back in time, and convince Ichirou to go by himself. Yet a promise was a promise, and to be fair their were positives for being here especially having watched the graduating class their were many promising new bloods that could be recruited for Inferno Miasma probably be best to let Ichirou handle that being a more popular face, and socializer. Even though Jets socializing skills had drastically increased thanks to the fire boy, and Mimi alone he still wasn't a massive fan of large crowds... to many blind spots. With a mellow sigh Jet rubbed his face at the thought of Mimi... their relationship having been through some strain recently. With the busy life with the hero agency, and the overwhelming night time crime Jet had little opportunity to work on the issues at hand in his personal life, and the same was of Mimi they both had a nasty habit of bearing themselves with work.

"Keep those thoughts for later perhaps,"
Jet mumbled to himself as he finally started to walk around getting a feel for the event. As he walked around he was introduced to many familiar, and unfamiliar heroes in the business. As he kept his conversations short, and to the point he started to notice a few extremely familiar faces noting Masaru, and Aurora of in the distance to the right, and on his left Yosuke, Charlotte, and a recently new face Fuyuki a girl he had recently met a few cases ago. As much as it was nice to see his old classmates again it felt a bit awkward just walking right up to them. Actually speaking of old classmates where was Ichirou he was suppose to meet up with him around this time. Mulling over his thoughts he sighed, and accepted he couldn't just stand their all day.

1600662398201.png
Rennard 'Ren' Kosaka
Ren nearly faceplanted into a shelve of snacks, before jerking his torso backwards. 'Whew.' He mentally sighed in relief. He snatched a bag of mixed dried fruits off the shelf he almost fell into and went to the front of the store, placing the bag on the counter there. He pulled out his wallet, ignoring the awed silence coming from the girl managing the counter. He glanced back up at her, and paused, his brows furrowing in concern. "Uhm, ma'am? Are you alright?" He asked, waving a hand in front of her face slowly. The girl jerked back with a blush and Ren became even more confused. The girl stuttered out the price of the bag and Ren handed over the exact amount, before taking the bag off the counter and leaving the blushing girl behind.

Once he left the store, he sighed, readjusting the high collar covering the lower part of his face. He hated when females threw themselves at him. Granted, he wasn't really well known, ranking 332 in the hero ranks, and basically unstable everywhere, but he still wasn't interested in them. Girls, to be exact. It wasn't exactly something he brought up in conversation, so basically no one who knew him for less then a few months knew about his sexual preference. 'Oh well. They'll learn eventually.' With his thought somewhat sorted, Ren jumped up onto a fence, balancing himself for a small second before trotting onwards to his destination.

Ren tugged on a pouch at his waist, opening it and dropping the bag into it after taking a handful of sweets out of the pouch. He closed the top of the pouch again and pulled down the layers surrounding his mouth. He nommed on the candy as he walked the rest of the way to the HA, occasionally hopping down off the fence and crossing the street, then jumping back up. He paused in his steps as he saw the large crowd of cameras and people in front of the entrance. Ren mentally sighed and threw the rest of the candy he was holding into his mouth and pulling up the mask, then tugging his collar into place over it. Chewing fast, he hopped off the fence and swallowed right before shifting into his small fox form.

He closed his eyes as the familiar change took over his body, fire flaring up for a second around him before dying down again. Ren's fluffy ears twitched in annoyance at the loudness of the crowd and he trotted forwards, ducking under and around people's legs. People slightly shifted away from the small fox darting between their legs before focusing on it again. A few shrieks of glee from the females in the crowd and he quickened his pace, nearly crashing into a few people in his haste to get away. Ren finally made it into the HA compound, leaving behind the crowd. His tail puffed in annoyance, he trotted through some people before pausing and sitting down in the middle of the pathway. He had no idea where to go. So, being a smart person, he layed down, still in his small fox form and waited for someone to come up to him. They eventually would, it was just a matter of time. 'This place.....is huuuge.'

Hearing a familiar voice call out to her, Charlotte's head turned in the direction, instantly brightening up. Her phone floated out of her hand and stowed itself away in her jacket pocket, allowing her to diverge her attention to her peer.

"Yosuke!" She greeted in turn.

In the "professional" world, it was more customary to refer to each via their aliases. However, Charlotte was always more of a fan of using names when she knew the person. Gold Finger was a friend from school after all, not simply some coworker or acquaintance. Despite that, it was true they hadn't spoken in a while. It wasn't on purpose, they just each had their own stuff going on, not just with work but significant others too.

"Good. The agency's taken off a bit; we have some sidekicks now," Charlotte replied, giving him a wider grin. "And what about you? What have you and your dearest been up to~?"

However, no later that she asked that did a woman come barreling towards them, crashing into the ground with a roll. Though it didn't seem to mitigate the damage all that much, it did succeed in startling the french heroine, causing her to flinch and recoil slightly.

Noble Silver Savior. She was the heroine that bore a heavy resemblance to some of the heroes Charlotte saw on television as a child, and the woman certainly had the energy to take part in it. Chevalier had met her after graduation. Fuyuki reminded her a lot of Masaru albeit far more eccentric. She was a good person to be sure, but did she have to come out of damn near nowhere?

"I catch them after!" Charlotte refuted assuredly before Fuyuki inquired to Yosuke's progress.

Charlotte knew he wanted to climb the ranks, as well that he could get a bit frustrated even if he didn't want to show it. Still, in her mind Yosuke should relax a bit. He just started and was already around rank 100. Given some more time he would get even higher. Though she wasn't sure if that was something best said from her considering she was rank 65.

~~~
Masaru perked up hearing the speech directed towards him. Looking over, he found Aurora, giving her a once over before directing his gaze somewhat upward.
"I'm tall?" He questioned with a raised brow. "Thanks."
Taking the glass from her, he gave her a nod before taking a sip. He hadn't seen or spoken to Aurora in a while, though from what he knew she was doing much the same as him. Occasionally she would partner with others or agencies, but usually she worked on her own similar to how her mother used to.
"Same thing as you, or so I think," Masaru said with a slight shrug before looking onward at the gathering.
She was right about that. The progress was impressive, and quite a leap from what he was prepared to go into. Hero society was far less freeform as it was only several years ago, not that he thought that was a bad thing. It was better that all the heroes were organized in some way, at least so they covered a good basis. There were existing issues with a lack of coverage in more rural areas versus urban, so that would be addressed with this. Still, if he was a newbie, Masaru certainly wouldn't have enjoyed the induction.
"I don't know. I think I'm different from most in that regard, but large gatherings like this aren't celebrations to me. I'd rather get on to the important stuff and have my own more relaxing celebration later," Masaru agreed.
It was too much. The induction, organization, and networking could all be separate events rather than scrunched into one day. Plus it made everything especially crowded and noisy.
"She's fine. She went to go talk to her dad a bit, while I try not to get trampled under all these people," Masaru said, clearly not very enthusiastic about the crowd. "What about you? Is underground literal or figurative?"
Before she even received an answer, Shiori felt a presence behind her. No later did a voice appear in her ear. She heard nothing and no one approaching her, so the suddenness with the proximity successfully jump-scared her. That, in and of itself, was fine. Unfortunately, when Shiori got too excited or startled her, her quirk unintentionally manifested the same as her smile.
"Eee-!" She yelped, her bright, sharky grin baring itself.
If that wasn't prevalent enough, her hands morphed into blackish claws. Her arms clutched themselves to her chest as she turned to stare at the source of the scare. She too was familiar! The fang girl from the festival!
"Y-You're also from the festival..." She commented aloud.
Takumi, on the other hand, turned to the source of fright with a confused head tilt and rice cake in his mouth.
"Hah?"
It seemed as though the boy was less jumpy than the girl. He bit into it with a crunch as he pulled it from his mouth, uncaring of the girl appearing from nowhere.
"Issit supposed to be fun? It'd be fun if we were let out to kick some ass," He answered, before shrugging. "Free food though."
Shiori glanced at his simple response before looking back at Amaris. With a nervous smile, she waved her arms frantically, as if the exaggerated movements would help her limbs return to normal.
"Um... it's nice... but it's a little nerve-wracking though. I don't do crowds very well..." Shiori answered.
Ayame Daichi & Kanna Tanaka
ANVIL Headquarters
@Thaleko @EmperorsChosen
Looking on as Amaris made use of her Shadow, Kanna seemed about ready to say something as the other just as quickly vanishes, talking to the two of the new recruits, taking note of the pair, of the pair she nods. If she recalled correctly they were Shiori and Takumi. Still not who she smelled from before, they were close however, of that she was sure.
"Ah, hello you two, hopefully soon we'll have more real food in here, we plan to make a small vegetable greenhouse as well, that is unless Ayame has any objections?"
"Huh?" Listening in to what Kanna said, Ayame notes the other two, her mind still distracted on Kanna and the two newest recruits. "Hmm? Oh no! That would be fine, I rather we all eat more healthy myself, I was thinking of trying to get us more of the JGSDF rations, but if we all could pinch in a little of our monthly pay then we have much better meals. Station 12 is also near a natural river, so we could get fish out of it as well."
Watching as Amaris ducks out of the shadow, there was also her diet to consider, that the government would not just provide, but there were alternatives among the meat supplies Kanna had found earlier, between the two of them, finding cheap and yet good quality food would not be too difficult.
"We should have a deployment soon, though I can't promise where and with who, it's possible at times we'll need to break up into smaller groups." Ayame says, watching the trio as Kanna nods her head in confirmation. "We should indeed, for now we should relax and organize our unit and take a look at our other home given we likely won't spend all of our time here."
Heisuke Hamada
U.A Tower
Chatting with Jet @Azurian Dream
It was now Heisuke's least favorite time of the year, he was warned about the event and while he really wished he could skip, it would be idiotic to not take advantage of the contacts he could get, besides it would be nice to see some of his old friends again. As he walked in his first stop was the food table, a good place to stuff his face and survey his area to who he could approach, socializing was not his strong suit. Taking a handful of chips, he stood at the table surveying the room around him.
The first faces that he recognized far back in the room were Charlotte and Yosuke chatting up a storm, most likely hadn't spoken in a while, he made a mental note to talk to Charlotte later to catch up with her since he hadn't seen in an awful while but also Yosuke, though he had spoken to him only a day prior. Then there was Aurora and Masaru also catching up, he wasn't going to admit it but it was nice seeing everyone here yet again after so long, like having the whole gang back together if not for half of them going to ANVIL, but that was a whole other thing entirely he could go on about.
Another face he noticed was his good ole training buddy, Jet, though it had been a while since they were able to actually last had a sparring match, both canceling on each other because of their ever-increasing busy schedule. Maybe it was best to check up with Jet before he speaks to other heroes, he was just tired of introductions and fake smiles. "Well Isn't it the dark matter, think I can get a 'selfie' " Heisuke lightly jabbed at his friend, also nudging him at the elbow as he leaned on the wall next to him.
Adelaide Boucher
1600919190016.png
Anvil Headquaters
Meeting Infenri
@Thaleko
Another year gone, another recruitment ceremony that would surely bore the current and new Anvil members, all the same, she could have been doing a lot more to help out her community rather than stand around for the publicists. Standing against one of the corners in the room with one hand holding her coffee and the other grasping her phone. Most of her timeline was filled with her fellow comrades and friends posting about the event and heavily endorsing their organization, though she didn't really care about all that so that made this current event a little worse.
Though she wasn't behind the publicity of it all, she honestly enjoyed working for Anvil, just three years ago after that dreaded day at the U.A ceremony, she made up her mind that the Hero Association was doing more harm than good, so maybe there was a better way to protecting Japan, after hearing Dullahan's Flame after everything had happened, she made the best choice she could make and joined Anvil. Oddly enough it didn't damper her relationship with Ichirou, in fact, it actually strengthened it, she finally found her belonging in life and that made her a lot happier, having Ichirou by her side made things perfect.
So after three years working for Anvil, she was able to achieve the Corporal status, it was one role she was proud to get but she was okay with settling with it either, she wanted to keep striving forward to hopefully one day be on the same scale as her friends, maybe even surpass them one day. Quietly Adelaide surveyed the new set of newly trained Anvil officers since most would be here for the long run, maybe it was time to introduce herself to one of them.
Walking over to the group, she walked over to one that looked the most interesting of the bunch, looking as bored of the event as she was, so maybe she could cheer her up a little by relating to the situation. "Don't worry, today is the most boring day of the year, it'll get more exciting as the weeks go by." Adelaide stood next to the girl, trying not to gather too much attention. "I noticed you smirked at Amaris' imitation, she's great at keeping spirits high at even the most...tedious of situations."
Isamu Yukimura
"Aw man..." Isamu huffed as he finally arrived at the HA ceremony. He'd told Charlotte he would meet her there, but now... "Char's gonna kill me for being late... again..." It'd become a bit of a habit recently that Isamu would be late to talks, meetings, other events. Luckily, he'd managed so far to avoid being late to or missing any dates or special days with her. Few things scared him more than the fury of his girlfriend. Hopefully, she would have found something or someone to keep her busy in his absence. At least a distraction would have helped him.
A late night... Okay, an all nighter... had forced Isamu to have to run home to clean up, redress, and get himself to the event. A fresh hero uniform, his messy hair hidden under his hat, and the determination to find his girlfriend saw the young man running at full speed. He pulled out his phone, briefly shooting the girl a message.
'See you soon '
Charlotte was about as amazing a girlfriend as Isamu could have hoped for, but he would still rather not give her reason to give him the silent treatment or "punish" him later. Well actually... that might be a little fun. "Stop it..." he scolded himself, eyes shutting for a moment as he shook his head to eject such thoughts from his mind. Unfortunately, that forced him to...
WHAM!
"Ah..." Isamu moved back a few steps, rubbing his feet. Not all that long ago, Isamu might have fallen back. He’d certainly become more sturdy as of late if nothing else. He huffed softly, rubbing his head gently as he looked up at what or who he’d run into. “S-Sturdy as ever,” he said as he looked up to find the Blonde Bombshell herself. “Sorry Aurora.” He sighed, at this point giving no attention to just how much she dwarfed him in stature.
Shunsuke Saito
Shunsuke had woken up bright and early to say the least. He'd headed out to the dojo, running through his usual morning work out routine. Lately it had been feeling easier and easier with each passing day. He was barely breaking a sweat anymore. Perhaps it was time to ramp it up again. Thoughts of the day to come certainly found him a little less than enthused as he returned back to the main house to take a shower. Still, Shun was optimistic. He breathed out softly, slowly gathering his thoughts as he toweled off, re-entering his bedroom. As he looked over the sleeping frame of his girlfriend a small grin appeared on his face. It was still pretty early and there was no harm in waking her up, right?
~~~ Later ~~~

Stretching his arms out over his head, stomach full after breakfast with Cupie, following their morning... activities, Shun made his way to the HA ceremony. He arrived in good time, taking time to scope out the crowd. It was important to scout potential recruits. That was what Cupie had told him too. He would't get very far with just the small, practically minimalist, staff he housed at his Hero Agency.

In truth, this wasn't exactly an issue for Shun. He was happy to mingle a bit and maybe see and old face or two. He was just as happy to gorge himself on the HA catering. Why not indulge a bit?

"Hm?" he hummed, looking up to see a bit of commotion in the form of a girl landing in a somewhat boisterous manner before two individuals. Holding a plate with various fruits, and a few danishes, he swallowed down the bite of food he'd been chewing as he perked up a bit.

Shunsuke couldn't help chuckling a bit. The entrance, the eccentricity, and the admitted flare left him quite amused. "I didn't know we were doing superhero landings today," he spoke up a bit as he joined the small group. "Yo! Chevalier, Gold Finger, it's good to see you two. You guys seem to be doing pretty well," he said, greeting his former classmates a bit more properly before turning to look at the silver haired girl. "And hey. It was something like Silver Savior, right? You've been working pretty hard out there!" he added just as cheerfully.

Airi Hirabayashi
Airi had planned out her morning pretty well. She'd gotten in a nice little breakfast, a great workout, and a nice shower. She'd had time to spare in fact. Getting ready had been a breeze leaving her with enough time to whip something small up and head out to the ANVIL HQ... so that she could be bored out of her mind. Airi had luckily gotten much better at keeping her focus and staying up through things that bored her. She'd had to to get through the rest of high school, after all.

Still, as she looked over the various ANVIL members, both new and old, she found herself wondering if... Her mind blanked as a small giggle escaped her at Amaris's actions. Between the slight mocking gesture, the appearance by Kanna and then by two other member, Airi didn't know personally, the monkey tailed girl found herself entertained to say the least.

"Well, there's no point in just standing around," she said to herself as everyone seemed to be either socializing or planning something of some sort.

Airi made her way over to the table of snacks. She hoisted a bag onto it, unpacking a few small boxes of miniature sandwiches. It was nothing extravagant, but Airi did like to help out and add to things where she could. "Sounds like everyone is as busy as ever," she said as she turned around, leaning back against the table lightly. In a world of superhumans, one might not have expected Airi to stand out much in a crowd of people wearing uniforms, but she had fixed her's up a bit to hug her frame in such a way that it might still draw a little attention. Course, that was just Airi. "Especially you two," she said to Kanna and Ayame specifically.

"I guess that comes with the territory of leadership." Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, Airi didn't have to worry about that. The girl hadn't exactly made the attempt to actually progress in terms of rank. Her lack of a forward movement within ANVIL wasn't something that tended to weigh down on her mind. She wasn't there for a rank. "But hey, worrying about all that's a bit above my pay grade, right?" she added, a sort of halfhearted joke to the red panda girl and the Miko. "Although, if the scrappy guy is that eager to fight, I could always go a few rounds with him while we leisurely await orders." This time he joke was a bit more serious, evident by the grin on her face as she pointed toward Takumi who seemed to be oh so hungry for deployment.

Kurogane

Kuro sighed, grumbling under his breath as he listened to Misoka's speech. His ears seemed to twitch in response to various whispers, voices and words aimed directly at either him, his sister, or both. He clenched his fist, venturing to simply ignore any and all things that might have been expressly stated about him or Infenri. There weren't many, but there were some. He just had to keep himself calm. Besides, it was their first day officially. It was probably better not to make waves or start a fight.

Of course, that was just one of many annoyances. Fiddling with the collar of his uniform, he couldn't help but expressed a little frustration. "Why the hell does this thing need to be so goddamn stiff?" Although he wasn't speaking to anybody in particular, it was clear Kuro was not a fan of his current attire. Although, he supposed it wasn't the worst thing in the world. Plus, if it got him a bit of extra freedom compared to what he'd had prior, it was a small price to pay. He glanced over at Fenri after surveying the area. He closed his eyes for a moment, lifting his head a bit. He sniffed at the air, getting a feel for many of the scents in the areas, most new, though with a few familiar ones.

One such familiar scent approached him and his sister, well really just his sister. "Ich- no..." He shook his head. It wasn't Ichirou, but the guys scent was all over this girl. She was probably his girlfriend. They hadn't spent much time together even when she visited the Mizushima household. Kuro looked at her for a second.

"What was your name?" he asked calmly, turning to face her. "Sorry, I know you were talking to Fen, but I got a little curious. We haven't talked much even though you're dating our brother." Kuro placed his hand on his chin, thinking for a moment. "Adele? Adelia? No... It starts with Ade... I know that much." he said, stopping before he could rattle off any other guesses. "Hmm... Or I guess maybe I should refer to you as Corporal?"

Amaris noticed her shape-shifted hands. Then had sudden flashbacks to Cupie letting her quirk go wild with no control and the troublesome situations that it caused back in UA. "You really should learn to control your quirk by now," she said pointing at the morphed hands.

Otherwise, their superior officer grinned at the girl's response. It was always amusing when she got that kind of reaction. She wasn't super high-ranked yet, but it was always fun to torment the "younger" ones. And this girl was as precious as they come. "Ah, you remember," Amaris commented on how Shiori recalled their festival meeting. "Sso, joined Anvil, huh? Why?" she wondered aloud.

She turned her gaze on the boy, greyish eyes flashing pink. "You'll get thhat ssoon enouff."

Her eyes flicked back over to Shiori. Her lips curling into a small smile. "Neithher did I. But I'vve siincce gotten ussed to them... Crowdss can be their own sourcce of amussement." She paused. "Not to worry. You won't havve to deal withh crowdss too ofhten. Mishuns are ushually jusst you, your superior, your comradess, and, of course, you're enemy. Whicsh iz the one you'll primarily be focussed on."

She leaned in, "Sso focussed on, thhat it'll feel intimate. Like you shhare a closse bond unlike any other."

When another voice broke up their conversation, Amaris glanced over at the tall, menacing miko. Hearing what Kanna and Ayame had to say made the vampire scowl and grit her teeth. "Geh, 'healthhy'..." she grumbled, clearly not too enthused herself about what others called 'healthy' foods. This was about when she backed off, taking a step or two back and folding her arms.

Fenri's large wolf ear flicked when she heard a voice speak at her. She swiveled to face the person, staring at a redhead. A redhead who boasted some very attractive looks. It made her hair stand on end, wanting to claw away the attractive female. ..But that was 'natural response' she had built up in her life. Something that social worker said. Her social worker had also told her that she needed to open up and live in a healthier lifestyle.

In other words. Stop being so off-putting, make some friends, and uh relax? Her social worker was basically a therapist. Someone who had been appointed to the "reformed" criminal after her stint as a villain, in order to.. well, reform her, she guessed. That was during the three years she had been given to the Mizushima household. Er, ah, "returned home" to the Mizushima household.

Fenri's ears and face changed shape as she considered what to do. Ultimately she decided to at least try. It wasn't like Fenri was just unsociable or mean or anything. She just tended to be a bit intense.

"Haa~ Is it exciting to give others a thrashing?" the wolf girl questioned, with a smirk. "Good. I'm good at that. Guess I'll have a lot of fun~ Wuff wuff~"

She looked over at the woman who she recognized from the ceremony, who was talking with someone else. Like the woman before her, they were both ranked higher, huh? "Is that so? Well that was certainly tedious." She put her hands on her hips. So these women were her senpais, huh?.. "I've never been into meetings, or other things like that. Stuffy and boring. I prefer action. Or lazing around. I guess I mean, I laze around, if it's not interesting... senpai."

Fenri glanced at her brother as he invaded the conversation. Oh, right. This woman was their 'brother's' woman. "That's my brother!" She chimed happily, smacking Kuro's back. "That nose is as sharp as ever! Senpai smells just like our -brother!" It was still tough for Infenri to consider those people family. But she was getting better and better.

"Hmm.. Very dutiful heroine, huh? Always so proper. Must be a bit exhausting," Fuyuki commented. If it sounded rude, that was unintentional.

The silver-haired woman turned to the voice, spotting the man who suddenly showed up. She couldn't believe her eyes, and her excitement shot through the roof. "Heh?!? I ALWAYS do a superhero landing! Cuz I'm a superhero!!! And they're so. freakin'. COOL!" Fuyuki chimed right away.

"HEHHH!?!?! It's the legendary KIHON PANZER!?!?! FUU-FRIIIIIIIICK! NO WAAAAAAA~YY!" That excitement was very obvious to the small collection of heroes who was nearby. Actually, to everyone, in the immediate vicinity, who could easily overhear Fuyuki's fangirl shouting.

Her heart suddenly stopped. Which was quite obvious by the stunned look on her face. Her heterochromic eyes were on full-display as she stood there wide-eyed staring at him. "Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y..."

"Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y... Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y...."
At this point, the silver-haired female was vibrating as she stammered repeatedly.

"Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YY-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YOUUUUUUUU REMEMBER MY NAME?!?!?! -Ah it's Noble Silver Savior-" She finally managed to get out, in her overly-loud, excited tone, with just a minor correction added on under her breath. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!!!!" She squealed loudly, scrunching up her body, before bouncing up and squealing high in the sky. She couldn't believe it! he had just complimented her! Kihon Panzer -Shunsuke- had just complimented her! THE Kihon Panzer from class 1A!! EEE!

Despite the display, Fuyuki managed to land before him with a dignified air about her, hands on her hips, proudly standing there with a "power stance". "Ah, of course you would know me! I'm your Noble Silver Savior!!! An esteemed rescuer and savior of the poor, downtrodden, and the weak! A distinguished hero just like you! HA HA HA!"

She tugged on Shun's arm. "Hey hey! Lets spar! Spar with me, Kihon Panzer!! Lets spar, lets spar!!" She demanded, shaking him.

Yosuke Banner.jpg
Gold Finger - Rank 108
"Oh well Heisuke and I have started going on patrols together. We make a pretty good investigation duo! Octavia helps us out from time to time, but w're really th-" Yosuke had only gotten a little more than two sentences in with his former classmate and friend when a third party whom he had never met in person arrived. However, he was familiar with her. Noble Silver Savior - Rank 91. He had seen her before on TV. Her whole deal was claiming to be a hero of justice. Which was exactly what Yosuke was. Well in fact, that's what many of them were. The only problem was compared to him, she far better at maintaining that image. A simple power-up quirk was all it it, but that was all that was needed to capture the hearts and eyes of the people.

He was jealous to say the least. And this time it wasn't exactly suppressed by his fondness with others. To make matters worse, she straight up brought his rank into the conversation. 108th. 17 steps lower. What was she trying to say? If it weren't for her fan-like attitude, he almost would have thought she were gloating. But before he could attempt to answer that question, another familiar face appeared before them: This time it was the Grape Hard Head Shunsuke. Otherwise known as Kihon Panzer - Rank 87.

Immediately Miss Noble started stuttering and stammering, as if she had forgotten how to speak entirely. He waited for her to stop, hoping to great his friend. Eventually, he thought he had a good point to interject. "Hey Shu-"

There she went again. It was impressive how much she liked Shun. Good thing Cupie wasn't around to see this. He wasn't exactly sure what she'd do, but it would likely be some way to passive aggressively 'mark' the loveable martial artist. But as if she had intended to get another blow to his pride, she but in with a playful plea for a chance to spar with him. He had just opened his mouth again to speak, and all of his breath was immediately expelled: a physical reaction to the metaphorical gut punch. He dropped into the seat next to Charlotte. "Actually... This might be a better representation of how things have been going..."

Saizo Banner.jpg
BP-Minuteman

Saizo was making his way at a leisurely pace, just enjoying the walk around the compound. Of course this hadn't been his first time stepping in. But as he was keeping his step up, his step caught something he wasn't expecting, as he felt something small and fuzzy underneath him. He tripped for a moment, losing the beat as he quickly looked around in search for what could have been the hazard.

It seemed that he had just stepped right on the tail of a small red fox that was sitting awkward in the middle of the pathway. "Aw shit." He walked over and followed the fox a short bit. "Hey you alright there? Whatcha sitting in the hallway for?"

He wasn't sure if this was a real animal yet or not. It could just as easily be another hero. Then again, taking a nap in a place with heavy foot traffic doesn't exactly seem like the type of thing a hero would do... Or a wild animal for that matter. Honestly, that might just make it more likely to be a hero who wasn't too bright. At least in the common sense department.

"You looking for some help?"

Mimi Banner (2).png

Misaki Miro
She listened to what Ryushi had to say. It was clear that there was things left unsaid. However, she was not going to pry deeper into the matter. Not yet at least. For now there was no harm. She merely wished to get to understand those in her platoon better. She watched as he selected the dark-chocolate panda. While it showed he had more matured tastes, it may have also indicated more, had the other chocolates not been shaped like similarly adorable creatures. But that was all. Ryushi was busy with work. Mimi couldn't exactly say she wasn't guilty of the same thing.

"Alright. I'll be leaving." She said matter-of-factly. With that she moved on, hoping to catch some of the others in her platoon.

As the door closed behind her, she was immediately drawn in to a face she had met only once. As well as a face she would never forget. Mimi couldn't remember her name. Their exchange was only for a brief moment several years ago. But the words she said to her still rang in her ears. Along with Jet's and her teachers, and her friends and parents.

She was perhaps the main reason. She had said Mimi would be able to find what she was looking for in UA. That she would obtain the same enthusiasm and vigor of her classmates. Mimi took her word on it that day. And ultimately she felt that she was wrong. She felt a small tinge in her heart. A momentary feeling of annoyance and anger. It was quickly quashed by her intentions to mute those feelings.

She approached, given how this was a chance to know her better. Along with the others she was speaking to: Kuro and Infenri.

"Hello Kuro, Infenri." She looked over to the red haired girl she had once spoken to so long ago. "Misiaki Miro." She extended her hand toward her. "I don't recall."

Aurora - U.A. Tower

"Ya, ya, ya I hear enough complaint about my own height from my mother enough as it is cold shoulder,"
she chuckled in response to Masaru's rather valid point as she intently listened to what he had to say. Rather none surprisingly Masaru was still the same loner she remembered though thankfully his time with Chiaki had eased him into social gathering in mass. Yet like her it was still overwhelming for one person who wasn't much into the press or limelight aspect of hero work. As the two conversed some more Masaru questioned her underground meaning.

"Ah yes both unfortunately I've been having a lot of request to follow ups on some rather strange cases involving underground drilling operations which at first were believed to be all separate until I helped pinned them all together under one one villain named Junk Drill a rather nasty fella known for dropping a bank here, and there underground," Aurora paused taking a sip of her own drink as she muddled whether to bore Masaru with all this detail, but the small talk was nice with a old friend so why not.

"Yet oddly when I caught him it was on a mark involving no bank, nor to any of his usual M.O of flaunting a warning ahead of a time. He was trying to nab a weapon depo which is strange cause as far as my file built up on him from all pulled sources stats he has no sort of benefactor that would want it. Even more strange was how silent he was for the brief amount of time I got to interrogate him... he was oddly quite as if afraid of something," She sighed her hair staying still with the soft breeze as a small rather odd thud sounded off as she would tilt her head before the impact as Masaru, and her would be met with Isamu. Having unfortunately ran into one of the heaviest immoveable walls in the hero industry Isamu was thankfully not hurt nor floored to the ground by the impact. Softly giggling at the moment as Isamu rubbed his head Aurora turned to him with a raised curiously eyebrow.

"Concentration Away huh? Looks like someone's got the girlfriend on the mind at the wrong time again," Aurora teased as her hair reached out to grab another drink weaving it over to Isamu to help distract from the impact a bit also bringing over a small bag of ice like the mom she was.

"No worries your not the first, and doubtfully you wont be the last either," Aurora chuckled waving away Isamu's worries as she lightly twirled her glass a little being reminded of a popular vampiric video game villain icon which caused her to wonder how Amaris was. Pushing the thought away rather fast she smiled.

"Masaru, and I were catching up want to join us mister tough guy that way you don't have to immediately meet your other wraith, and can cover it with a good catching up story," she winked teasingly as she chuckled. Isamu, and her had become pretty good friends since the school days as she was one of the most usual couple friends he, and Charlette had.

Jettitare - U.A Tower

"Ha... ha... ha,"
Jet laughed sarcastically as he turned to the sound of one of his oldest training partners. However the sarcasm was followed by a short lived grin as Jet pushed Heisuke a little in response. It had been a little bit since the two last had a chance to catch up, or even spar for that matter not all that shocking though for people who had broken into the top hundreds life was extremely more and more demanding after all. Though to be fair minus Ichirou, and Mimi... Jet didn't really have that many opportunities to have a social life with he was a night time hero his schedule rarily matchup with others as it was.

"How goes the fake smiles,"
Jet jabbed dirty into Heisuke's soul knowing full well he was being used albeit still genuine a interaction for Heisuke to get away from all the rival of business interactions regardless a soft laugh revealed Jet had no issue with it as he leaned agaisnt the same wall. Ichirou was running late at this point, and as he was the face of Inferno Miasma Jet didn't need to do much at this point until he arrived.

"As you can imagine Ichirou is late again for a public event. Not sure whether to blame Adelaide or his lack of rest taking want to make a bet," Jet joked as his mist brought back a plate of food forming into a tall stand between the two to grab from.

"How's the solo life been treating you? I heard you have been patrolling with Yosuke lately... is he holding up well? I imagine he's been frustrated lately do to the rank systems recent put out," Jet asked a bit concerned with Yosuke's mental health on the matter knowing full well Yosuke's drive to be the best as anyone else could has a bit unhealthy as of late. As he scooped out the scene Jet was able to locate nearly everyone who had stayed with HA which motioned him to think about the others who had moved to Anvil... part of him missed them for sure, but it was harder to accept Anvils motions of motive.

"Heard from any of the others as of late," Jet asked Heisuke motioning to the half of their class that wasn't here with them.

Interacting: Ren & Saizo

"Yes...... Yes I understand. I am very much aware of her appearance, but Inferno Miasma does not accept heroes solely on their appearance. Is she proficient with her quirk?"

Ichirou's day had started per the usual. Saying good morning to Adelaide and spending what time he could with her before it was time for both of them to get dressed and be on their way to their respective headquarters; her at ANVIL, him at HA. Though he wished the two of them could have had the chance to work together, it was just not in the cards. But at least he had the privilege of seeing her every night and every morning.

The person on the other line had called him as soon as he left his home, with the proposition of a potential recruit. However, the more Ichirou spoke to him, the more he was made aware that his client was no more than some pretty girl who most likely was enamored with the grandeur of heroism... Delusional child... But one day she would learn it wasn't all fame and glamour.

Ichirou stepped into the building, distracted with his phone.

"Sir, at Inferno Miasma, we are happy to give new recruits as many opportunities as possible. However, we are a hero agency, not a modeling one. Inform your client that if she wants to be considered for a position, she must graduate from a hero academy and present proof of graduation. Thank you, and goodbye.

After hanging up, he sighed and put the device back into his pocket. What caught his attention next was a fox laying in the hallway, and a young man looking to help it. Not wanting to turn his back, and not knowing if the animal was dangerous or not, he decided to approach the two.

"Excuse me," He spoke to get Saizo's attention, offering a friendly smile. "Do you need a hand with the fox?" Ichirou reached down and offered his hand to the fox to smell. He took into consideration that this was likely someone's quirk. Whether it was the person themselves, or if it was something like Fosc with Octavia, Ichirou didn't want to be careless about his actions.

Cupie knew she was supposed to be paying attention, and she tried to... but she'd rather be at home with Shunsuke. Whenever she was there, it was nice, peaceful, and never boring. Because of him, she'd been able to get her ass out of bed and get here on time. But, she wished she could just head home, crawl back into bed, and sleep more.

Well whatever.

She searched the crowd, looking for a particular vampire. The meeting seemed to be finishing up, or at least, they had more freedom to wander around and do something. Without Shunsuke to bother, she decided to bother one of the few friends she had in ANVIL. Cupie was bored and needed some socializing, and when she saw the vampire she approached and lightly placed a hand on Amaris's shoulder.

"Sup. Sorry to bother; I'm bored."

Octavia Daulfern

Interacting: Yosuke and people

Octavia exchanged greetings with a few heroes as Fosc flew around in search of Yosuke. The two had separated for a while, and during her time on her own, she spoke to acquaintances, new heroes, old heroes, and generally making good impressions where she could. This was one of the biggest events for heroes, one that she had been anxious about. Why? Most likely because first impressions were everything in the hero world. A good first impression meant connections, and connections meant more work, with more work meaning she stayed relevant.

Staying relevant meant she could assist Yosuke in breaking top 100. Maybe he could surpass her; she'd be so proud of him~

Fosc managed to catch him, and in turn, the crow flew down and landed on his shoulder. Shortly after the bird landed, Yosuke would feel arms wrap around his torso from behind.

"Pardon me for interrupting. I've been looking for you."

Ayame Daichi & Kanna Tanaka
ANVIL Headquarters

Watching Amaris run off Ayame sighs a bit calling out to the other. "I'll make sure you get your blood too! And healthy for us! We don't have the money or the willingness to do fitness craze healthy!" Without much more to do, Ayame eyes over the rest, so far all seemed to be going, well. Turning her gaze to Airi she sighs a bit. "If you applied yourself more and weren't so hostile to higher ups, or rude at least, you could move up as well you know."

It was largely true, her friend had drawn herself into this predicament, though she didn't seem to mind that herself. There was little helping it. Waving at Mimi, she continues her work, for now she was busy herself with planning out the first set of duties they may have, and to decide if they should stay here in the HQ or head on to base 12. "Umm.."

~~

Kanna turns her attention to the two wolves, knowing full well who at least one of them was.. More like both of them. But she does nothing, watching them for the longest while. That would be all she would do for now, watch them. Other than that there were the others here at least,

Humming to herself, she breaks contact for now, studying those around her, biding her time till the call would come in to deploy. Counting up talismans and beads in her hands, she seems to take this moment of silence to work on a few trinkets and crafts, or maybe even some paperwork judging by some of what else was on her makeshift guess.

"Hmm to stay here or to head for Station 12 indeed. I assume another crew or two will be joining us then?"

"Yep! Though not sure who and we likely won't get to work with them anyways."

"Hi-" Charlotte got about as far as Yosuke did before Fuyuki's reaction took the forefront of the vicinity's attention.

She winced a bit, unprepared for the fangirl shriek. Chevalier didn't realize the girl was such a fan of Shun's. It wasn't as if the French telekinetic and Yosuke were met with similar responses. In fact, that first comment might could be seen as a prod, though Charlotte didn't know Savior well enough to bet on that.

The grimace was short-lived as Yosuke sat beside her and spoke. Charlotte giggled a bit, giving him a few pats on the shoulder.

"Oh, I don't think you need fangirls anyway; not with your girlfriend," Charlotte teased him a bit before looking over at Shun and Fuyuki. "Careful! Don't make me call Cupie~"

Saying that with a smirk, whether she was referring to Fuyuki's proximity or Shun staying on task for the day would be left up to them. Either way, her attention didn't drag on them for too long. Charlotte caught a familiar voice come from her side. More importantly, the voice came with another presence.

"Octavia-Ah! Fosc!" Charlotte immediately turned and brushed the back of her index finger against the little crow. "How's my favorite little birdie been~"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Kind of hard to miss, Amazon," Masaru retorted. He could do nicknames too. "Didn't she retire not too long ago, by the way?"
After that, Aurora went on about her recent work. He wasn't necessarily interested in the adventures of someone who called themselves Junk Drill, but he paid attention nonetheless. Regardless, from what she said it seemed like he wasn't very important in the grand scheme of things either. Taking a drink as he listened, Masaru then pitched his thoughts.
"Assuming he wasn't afraid of you, he probably was," Masaru commented with a slight shrug. "You said nothing he did made sense. There's probably something else going on, or someone else doing something. Better watch the depots for a while."
Saying that, Masaru raised his glass for another drink before flinching at a loud thud. Glancing around Aurora, he sighed when he saw Isamu.
"Jesus Isamu." It did look like he collided with her pretty hard. Not to mention he had literally run into a steel wall.
Either way, when Aurora prompted him to join them in their conversation, Masaru glanced at him again. It was an excuse for being late to meet with Charlotte, though he wasn't sure it was the best excuse. It was probably better than none though.
A few more people started to gather, some familiar others not as much. Regardless, the little vampire spoke up a bit, commenting on her control, or lack thereof, her quirk. Shiori glanced back, keeping her hands hidden behind her.
"I-I can! It's just... when I get startled... I don't wig out or anything! It's just hard to keep the form stable sometimes..." Shiori clarified. She didn't want to be seen as the liability that couldn't properly handle her quirk. Either way, it seemed like Amaris recognized her, seemingly curious for why she was at ANVIL. "W-Well... I wanted to help people... And my quirk is strong, so..."
Of course, another question was likely why she didn't join the Hero Association. That was still as Shiori didn't believe she fit the part. Heroes shouldn't be people like her. They needed to be people like Shun, or her step-brother Allo, or her dad. More so beacons, less so monsters under the bed.
Shiori's eyes followed the vampire as she grew closer, commenting on crowds and the nature of missions. Why was she talking like that? They were the same age, so why was Amaris talking like some old veteran watching a private about to storm the beaches? Class 1A was battle-hardened, sure, but--
"E-Erm..." The sharp-toothed smile was brimming again as Shiori stared down at Amaris.
Very, very close...
Thankfully, the prospect of healthy food was brought up and Amaris retreated. This allowed Shiori to breathe a sigh of relief.
"W-Well... Healthy doesn't have to mean bad-tasting. We can take turns cooking something! It'll be cheaper and taste better too," Shiori suggested, the sharky smile diminishing to something a bit more normal as yet another appeared, this one a vibrant shade of pink. "U-Um... did they put all the Class 1A students who joined ANVIL in the same squad...?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I'm not picky, food's food, right?" Takumi commented with a shrug. "As long as it's actual food, not here's a bowl of kale food."

Taking another bite, Takumi glanced over at the wolves and newcomers. His gaze was slightly cold, though not necessarily hostile. It was more like he was gauging the rest of them. A few were Class 1A; the gifted. However, there was a fair amount of randoms too. The nervous girl with sharp teeth, the dogs, the dandy over by himself.

"Hah?"

Takumi blinked a few times, hearing someone refer to him. The girl was fairly built, with a monkey's tail. She was at UA too, wasn't she? Another one of the gifted perhaps, or maybe not.

"Fine by me," Takumi said with a small grin. "But don't whine when I pin you."

Hearing that lame excuse only made Amaris frown at Shiori. The vampire herself had always prioritized good quirk control. But there were people out there like Cupie, and this one here, who seemed to be controlled by their quirks at times, and let "happy accidents" happen at such pathetic things like "being startled". Heh, well, it wasn't like Amaris could really complain about being controlled by one's quirk...

"You.. wanted to 'help people'..?" she mumbled in response. That was it, huh? "Heroess help people," she pointed out. Or did this girl not believe heroes provided any help?

Having backed away at the mention of healthy foods, she raised her eyebrow. Shiori and Ayame, and even the dude, commented on the matter. Amaris had already dropped it. Her dietary needs were more of a nuisance to talk about, and the other teefy girl probably didn't even know them, so no need to continue that conversation.

Feeling the hand on her shoulder, she glanced back. It was Cupie. Over these past few years, after they had gotten over their initial hang ups, the two had become closer friends. That persisted, perhaps even strengthened since they both joined up at Anvil. She was used to this by now; Cupie was often bored. Her lips curled into a teefy smirk.

"Heh. You're alwayss sso hot and cold. Sso you're bored, Hearts? Hmmm..." The vampire put her fist to her noggin to think. "Why don't you meet the new recruitss! No?.." Hm, perhaps not. Cupie could be surprisingly off-putting and judgy. "Oh! I know! Heart one of the new ones!" That's what she always did back in UA, right? "A proper welcome, eh?" Satisfied with her suggestion, Amaris had a smug grin gracing her lips.

Fenri's ear flicked when another female spoke up. It was a woman with a slightly chubby figure. Certainly, when compared to her incredibly slender figure, it was like night and day. "Ah. Hello," she muttered, wondering how this person knew her name. Was that cuz she was in some military organization now? Should she expect everyone to know her? That was weird. Very different than living underground with villains.

Again, attempting to maintain this sociable facade, she extended a hand. The woman already knew her name, but still. "Name's Infenri. Fen or Fenri for short. I'm stronger than I look. Point me at the asshole you want, senpai, and I'll beat him into submission. Think of me as your attack dog -AH, but I'm not a dog! Ark! Grrhr!"

"HUH!?! What do you mean!?!" Fuyuki began, whipping around to look at Charlotte. "Yes! Call her! Call the amazing Heart-Lady!! I've always wanted to meet her!" It always saddened the silver-haired girl that her pink-haired idol went to join that blegh boring organization: Anvil! Fuyuki regretted that decision, despite it not being her own. Peeps in Anvil were infinitely less interesting, and often killed her motivation. Especially if they had the potential to be incredible heroes. Especially if they were from her idolized class of 1A.

"How bout you then, Gold Finger?! Want to spar!?" Her question was short-lived though, interrupted by someone who brought hearts to Fuyuki's multi-colored eyes, as if she had been hit by Cupie's quirk. She slapped her hands up to her cheeks, and popped up on one foot.

"HAAAAAAAAA!!!" Fuyuki gasped, as yet someone else from class 1A showed up. She only noticed because of the woman's extravagant entrance in hugging Yosuke. "It's the idol!!!" She exclaimed loudly. To Fuyuki, anyway, Octavia was an idol. "Madam CORIVDAE!!! OH.MY.GOSH!!! Can I have your autograph! Oh! Sign my tits!" Fuyuki stepped forward, thrusting out her chest. Wait. Could she allow someone to sign her Hero uniform?! Wouldn't that fuck up her own branding?.. Ah, whatever! It was Octavia!!! Exceptions were easily made!!!

Fuyuki eagerly wiggled, awaiting to be signed.
