Location: Mock Battlefield
Interactions: @Sasha Bliss (Rose)

Yoshio Bakugo casually followed along with everyone else to the open fielded grassy and forested area. After hearing what the final test was going to be he became both excited and a bit worried. Sure he was one of the highest scorers in the previous test combined but this was a team test. He'd sigh at the thought of trying to carry those with less combat oriented quirks from General Studies. This is gonna be a drag... He'd think to himself as he and the rest of Team 2 were escorted to the other side the field to they're base.

During the ten minutes they had before the battle would commence the boy was simply stretching his arms and legs, making sure to loosen himself up and was starting to psych himself up for what was to come. However, he wasn't expecting the familiar face of Red to approach him. He was indeed surprised by it all but a welcoming surprise as her words brought a small smile to his face. "Thanks, but hey who would have expected you pulling a cannon out of nowhere?" He'd scoff at the mention of his dad. "Yeah, most people would think having a pro hero as a dad would be pretty sweet huh." Anyone but him anyways...

He would then stand waiting for the flare to go off.

The Bought Between Attacker Yoshio and Defender Reika

Now that it was decided that Reika would be a defender, she made her way into the base and planted herself in front of the flag. She had a few ideas about how she could keep it from being taken, but she would wait until the time arose. This Medusa could only turn things to stone for so long before they returned to their natural composition. She was thinking about this when the sky lit up. The flare had been shot. The girl took a deep breath, righting her sunglasses on her nose and flexing her hands at her sides. Her heart started to pound.

Standing at Team 2's base Yoshio waited impatiently up until the moment the signal flare went climbing brightly into the sky. With a wide and excited smirk Yoshio Bakugo blasts off from the middle of his base, probably knocking some dust and what not into some of his teammates as he takes flight firing off numerous explosions from his palms. Upon reaching a good ways up into the air and about right in the middle of the mock battlefield the blonde spots the other base in the distance from his vantage point and begins screaming towards the encampment with explosions trailing behind him. He wanted to get that flag as quick as possible and leave little extra time for the other team's plans to hatch.

The girl could see the explosions in the distance which meant one thing - Bakugo. He was already coming in hot and apparently unhindered. It was too fast and he was already so close to the base. Reika glanced around to see who else was there. Don't tell me… Her eyes widened as the explosions drew closer.

As Yoshio quickly closed the distance he could could only see one figure out in the open but he figured there were probably more around somewhere. I'll mark the base for my team and give these guys a taste of what they are dealing with. The rules didn't say anything about going overboard against structures. He thought with a smirk as he turned his palms outwards and crossed his arms. He'd begin to fire off small explosions from his palms which caused him to start spinning in the air faster and faster as he continued to plummet towards the base now appearing more like a spinning drill bit made of smoke. He began to aim for the left tower structure of the base. "HOWITZER...IMPACT!!!" He yelled out as his palm made contact with the tower as the upper half was quickly obliterated by a large explosion.

The sudden impact cause Reika to flinch back, eyes probably as wide as they could possibly go and starting to hurt her face from the incredibly surprised expression she was making. Did he just kamikaze the tower? Holy crap! Who does that?! There was no way he'd be down for long of course. By the time she was clenching her fists to prepare, he was already emerging from the smoke.

Yoshio slowly emerged from the smoke as he stood atop the ruined remains of the tower he'd just all but destroyed; resting an elbow on his knee as he looked down and surveyed the open courtyard with a glare. He had some scuffs from what he'd done but nothing too major. His gaze would fall upon Reika. "Oi, if you just step aside and let me get the flag I'll leave you alone." He'd say as he dropped down from the remnants of the tower and slowly began walking towards Reika.

Fists balled up tightly, she could only watch the guy approach, looking as haughty and snobby as his father did in the videos her parents had showed her. Gross… Was really all she could think about his attitude. But she had not forgotten the way he'd acted with Red back in the classroom, before everyone learned who he was - or rather, who is father was. Suddenly, the attitude didn't seem as annoying. Just kind of sad. Though what was annoying was the frustratingly egotistical way in which he tried to tell her to give up the flag. Because she was too much of a wimp to fight for it? Was that it? Anger kicked in the under layer of villainy in her blood. Reika gently pushed the sunglasses up on her nose to keep them in place - her eyes were already turning. With a ditsy smile, and her head tilted a little to almost make it look like she couldn't even see Yoshio at all, she commented back. "I don't think I'll be doing that." Of course, that flag was just an illusion. But no one but the Team 1 defenders would be able to know that. "That kind of attitude won't get you anything, especially not our flag. Or friends. Isn't there a saying about catching flies with honey or something?"

Yoshio stopped in his tracks as he listened to her words. He was trying to just intimidate her like he had others in years past so that he didn't have to fight them, it was easier that way for both parties. But from what venom was coming out of her mouth he didn't see this girl backing down anytime soon. With a now more serious look an iron chain emerges from Yoshio's palm and begins to wrap itself around his right fist and forearm creating a kind of chain gauntlet. "Fine, have it your way." He'd say before sprinting towards Reika with all do haste upon reaching her he'd go for a punch with his chain covered fist straight to her torso.

"My way…?" Reika smirked, turning her shielded eyes in Yoshio's direction now. "I thought destroying things was your thing?" For some reason, she just could not help the rude retorts coming out of her. Damn, she'd spent way too much time around the WoB. Whether or not it was her taunting and rude remarks, Bakugo came at her pretty quickly, throwing a punch at midline. Probably to his surprise, she caught it with her own right hand. Reika barely had to tilt her head up to cast her gaze on Yoshio's hand, causing the chains on it to start hardening until they were solid granite. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips again.

Yoshio watched as not only was his initial attack blocked but his chains changed to granite. His right arm became heavy as he struggled to hold it up. His eyes flickered up to see the faint smile on his opponent's face. "The hell are you smiling for…" "Det cord!" Upon saying so the granite chains enveloping the boy's right arm exploded freeing up his arm but causing a billow of smoke to emerge between the two.

'Take advantage of every opening'. Her father's words rang in her head. At this moment, he would going in for a poisonous quick strike. Reika didn't have that, or at least not that she was aware of. So she ducked down low below the plume of smoke, simultaneously letting go of Yoshio's hand and striking at his right rib cage with a left hook. She joyously felt her fist strike flesh.

Yoshio felt the sting of the punch land against his rib cage causing him to wince for a moment before his eyes opened wide and reached through the smoke with his left hand where the blow had landed and found his target. His hand gripped around Reika's wrist as the smoke now blew away revealing the scene more clearly now. 'Aggression!!! Give them no time to think!!!' His dad's booming voice echoed in his head as he held out his free palm and fired off multiple explosions from it causing his body to turn and pull Reika along with him as he lifted her up with the help of the momentum and slammed her down onto the ground with the throw. Without missing a beat, the blonde reaches out towards the downed Reika with a glowing orange hand.

Somehow, the girl managed not to let out a terrified squeak when her wrist was captured. Not like she had any time to do so, or anything else for that matter. In an instant, she was spinning and being slammed to the ground like someone had decided to turn this into a pro-wrestling match. She was slightly winded from the impact, but she moved out of instinct. Bakugo's hand was coming for her again. Reika kicked her legs up. First the right, which impacted Yoshio's flank and knocked him forward and out of her way. The left leg immediately followed so she could use the momentum to roll herself back and onto her feet again. A momentary silence ensued while both opponents readied themselves again. Reika took a deep breathe, taking back in the air she was missing from being slammed into the ground.

The sudden kick in his back caused Yoshio to stumble and roll forwards a little ways away from Reika. After slowly turning to face her he too took in the moment to catch his breath. She wasn't half bad that was for sure to Bakugo. He'd really have to start going at her if he was gonna get anywhere at this point.

With a sudden rush of motion Yoshio whips his arms out towards Reika with no warning as chains extend out both of the boy's palms wrapping around Reika's arms and torso effectively binding her. He tugs them tight as he point his elbows to the ground and bursts upwards into flight with his explosions before whipping the girl with the aid of his chains and momentum towards the last remaining tower window. "Det Cord!" He says again as the chains around the girl explode and propel her through the open window into the tower. Yoshio quickly follows after her, propelling himself up to the window and onto the window frame.

Ah, flying. It was… definitely not as fun as she thought it would be. Before she knew it, Yoshio's chains were wrapping her up and they were in the air. It happened too quickly for her to really do anything except force her scales to grow in as she was being released from the chains. It was the only protection she had and while hurtling through the air at a speed and in a direction she could not control, the skin around her body hardened into dark green scales. They were like armor plating, but this was still going to hurt. Luckily, most of her body was aimed at the window. But her left arm, left shoulder, and left foot were just far over enough to hit wall first, turning a normal window into a scenic bay window in two seconds flat. She hit the floor with a loud 'thump'. "Gah…" The girl groaned in pain, rolling from side to side for a few seconds before pushing herself up to her knees. Her left arm and shoulder were throbbing.

Yoshio hopped down from the window frame as he watched Reika start rising to her knees. He briskly walked up to her and grabbed the girl by her throat, slamming her against the wall as he held his glowing free hand back. He gritted his teeth. "Do you really wanna keep going?! Just give it up or you're gonna get seriously hurt!" Yoshio was actually being a little bit serious on that last bit as his expression would soften a bit as he spoke.

The girl sucked in a sharp breath of air as it was cut off, wincing against the pain in the back of her head when Bakugo pushed her against the wall. Despite how the situation seemed, Reika had at least a little confidence in her fighting skills. And his expression only confirmed her suspicions about him. "I think…" She wheezed out, starting to chuckle a little though she didn't even really know why. It was like part of the villain handbook to laugh maniacally when you were pinned down. Didn't that indicate a turning point? Or was it just insanity? She wrapped her hands around his wrist, nails digging in. "I think you're a little too arrogant and need to be cut down." Reika tried to suck in more air. "But I don't think you're anything like your dad." The girl giggled again, giving the kid a full blown, warm as sunshine smile. "That's why I don't want to stop." She smashed her foot down into his and then immediately brought her knee back up into his stomach.

Yoshio's eyes winced at the sharp pain that suddenly shot up from his foot and gasped in pain at the equally sudden knee. Her words had surprised him about not being like his dad in addition to the equally surprising warm smile he received from her. All of this combined caused the boy to lose his grip on her and miss his palm explosion attack with his free hand as it goes over Reika's shoulder and impacts the wall blowing out a large hole.

With the explosion going off so close to her face, Reika rolled to the side quickly, just rolling along the wall until she was out of harm's way. Realistically, Yoshio's weakness was his mental state. But that didn't make her words or expressions any less sincere. Even blew a hole in the tower wall and was so close to it. When Reika came to a stop beside yoshio, she kicked straight out to her left, landing a good hit on the guy's flank and then immediately circling around to get further away from the gaping hole in the wall.

The blonde felt the familiar kick hit his back as the move shoved him towards the edge of the hole. He stumbled on the edge as he frantically waved his arms before collecting himself in the moment and letting off some explosions with his right palm to right himself and spin him around facing back towards the inside of the tower; seeing Reika backed away a bit. He took a moment to process everything that she'd done and said in his head in silence. Did she figure me out? After thinking on it for a few more moments Yoshio looked up towards Reika and seemed to nod as if he understood what she meant before returning a warm smile. "Alright, here I come then...Reika." He'd say with an enthusiastic tone before firing off multiple explosions from his palms as he'd begin to spin rapidly towards her like a spinning top, delivering a hard kick to her torso with the added momentum.

Reika was prepared, totally prepared, until he said her given name. A blush lit up her entire face and she started to stutter out some sort of protest. "D-d-don't say my name so casuall-!" She was cut off by a boot to the chest before she could get the last syllable out. The girl stumbled back a foot or so, reaching up to grab Yoshio's outstretched foot to catch herself. Well, why not? She yanked on his ankle roughly, pulling him in her direction and reading her free hand so she could aim a punch at his grinning face.

Still smiling even though he felt his leg get grabbed after his successful kick Yoshio summons a chain out from his left palm like a slithering snake as he sends it to Reika's right ankle and pulls hard trying to pull her off balance and to save himself from the coming blow. For the first time in a long time he was actually starting to enjoy being in a fight. It wasn't about defending himself from people who wanted to prove they were stronger because of who his father was. It wasn't because guys wanted to look tough in front of their girls by taking him on. It wasn't any of those kinds of things and he was happy to be apart of it.

That sensation on her one steady foot was clearly the sensation of iron chain wrapping around her. It was so much harder to feel with her scales out and she realized it too late. Her foot came out from beneath her and as she went down, her pull on Yoshio's leg pulled him too, forcing his leg to stretch beyond his ability and dropping him to the floor in time with Reika. With a muttered "G-ouch!" the girl landed on her hip and bit her lip to keep from saying something kids her age weren't supposed to say. 'Keep moving. Never slow down''. Her mom's voice this time. Reika rolled over, noticing only when she was leaning over Yoshio's legs that they had obviously fallen facing separate directions. It was stupid to stay in this position since it had no real strategic value but… Charlie horse! Reika balled her right hand up, sticking out her middle knuckle just a little, and smashed her fist into Yoshio's thigh.

Yoshio fell onto his back with a grunt as for a moment he saw nothing but a blurry ceiling. After shaking his head to snap out of it the next thing he saw Reika on top of him but facing away from him. The boy's confused expression went away quickly however as he felt the sharp tingling pain of the charlie horse vibrate up and down his thigh which was followed by a yelp of pain emanating from the boy's lips. The iron chains slithered out from both palms once more as with two flicks of his arms wrapped them both around Reika's neck from behind. He tugged on them tightly as he leaned back and closed his eyes as he tried to choke her out and he spoke frantically. "Tap out, tap out, tap out!" Anyone would be starting to get winded at this point and Yoshio was no exception and wanted to end this soon.

Yoshio wasn't the only one starting to get tired. Reika wasn't the type to have much endurance, but she wanted so badly to be of help to her team, and for some odd reason she really needed to prove some kind of point to Bakugo's kid. Not that she was better, but just simply that… he didn't have to be like his dad - a sentiment that personally struck a chord with her as well. She grabbed at the chains around her neck, trying to get a finger in between the iron and her skin, but it wasn't going well. His voice barely reached her ears which were starting to ring. But she was able to respond with a simple but emotional, "I refuse!" The girl arched her back and dropped down backwards, slamming the back of her head into Bakugo's face.

Yoshio opened his eyes as he heard her emotional scream just in time to see the back of her head smash right into his face. The grip on his chains instantly loosened and they even receded back into his palms as he brought his hands to his face as he was stunned and dazed from the blow. He could feel blood trickling out from his nose.

Gasping for air and coughing hoarsely, Reika rolled off the blonde boy and across the floor, taking a moment to grasp at her neck and pant for a little bit. So tired. Who organizes a fight right after a bunch of tests? Even while she caught her breath, her gaze stayed on him, and she wondered if he'd realized that she'd not taken those sunglasses off throughout the entire fight. She still had a card up her sleeve while Yoshio seemed to be running out. "If it means anything to you…" Another spurt of coughing erupted. "I'm having a lot of fun."

Yoshio rolled over onto his stomach once he started to regain his bearings and slowly stood back up looking, facing towards Reika once more. The blonde wipes the blood from his nose with his thumb and smiles. "I'm having fun too; more fun than I've had in a long time. So don't go underestimating me just yet." The boy says as he rockets himself forwards with in explosion charging straight towards Reika at high speed.

Unable to keep the smile off her face, Reika ended up grinning like mad. Too much fun. Why was this so much fun? The girl pushed herself up to her feet, and as soon as Yoshio came charging at her with his torso exposed, she lowered her head, planning to headbutt him right in the stomach. His poor stomach, she'd been abusing it since they first started.

Yoshio smirked as he didn't plan to just charge in head on from the start. In his mid air charge he pointed his palms towards the floor and propelled himself up and above Reika. "Baaaaka." He said in a childish tone as he pointed his left arm straight down towards her and supported his forearm with his opposite hand. He'd let loose a large explosion this time, about double the size of the ones he'd been doing so far as his sweat had been accumulating all this time. He was certainly tired but still dangerous and volatile.

The moment his momentum stopped, Reika figured something was up. That was confirmed when the kid aimed his hand at her. "Oh crap." She dove out of the way, rolling across the shaking floor as the explosion hit. Is he crazy? He's going to blow us both up! It looked like Yoshio was getting desperate or something, and Reika was freaking tired. Unfortunately, he was up too high in the air, so Reika yanked the shades off her face and focused her slitted gaze on Yoshio's shoes. The shoes hardened into stone, suddenly weighing the kid down more than he could possibly handle. Plus, there was no way he was prepared for that move.

The boy frowned as his surprise attack had missed though the frown quickly turned into a surprised expression as he felt his feet get heavy which made him plummet to the floor hard. He lands on his back once again with a heavier grunt as he looked at his now granite shoes. "What the, but how??" The boy began to struggle, trying to get up from the surprising predicament.

With a light chuckle, Reika puts her sunglass back on and wanders over to Yoshio, looking down at him for only a second before drawing back and drop-kicking him in the gut to further immobilize him. "Yeah… Probably shouldn't underestimate me either." The kick… was probably too much. The villain had come out in her a little more than she expected. Tone it down. But it felt good to be on high ground for once.

Yoshio looked up just in time to hear Reika words and see her kick coming down towards him. The boy flinched as the blow came down and impacted his gut hard. It was devastating enough that it forced spit out of the blonde's mouth and caused him to gag loudly in pain for an instance. His fingers gripped against the wooden floor as his palms begin to glow a vibrant bright orange. The instance of pain that kick brought drove him to anger as he let out two massive explosions from his palms as he yelled out his pain. These explosions were even stronger still as they gravely began to threaten the integrity of the tower they were in.

The tower shook violently from Yoshio's explosions, throwing Reika off balance and causing her to stumble back. Looking around, it looked like it was all about to come down around them. Better bail… The girl lifted up her glasses just long enough to turn Yoshio's entire gym uniform to stone, keeping him from being able to get back up. Immobilized! Woo!

What Yoshio had done had certainly gotten Reika away from him but as he felt the tower shaking violently he started to realize his mistake all too late. He felt his cloths become granite and after all he'd done up to this point he was too tired to even try to force himself upwards. He silently stared upwards at the ceiling as he watched it begin to come down on him. He heard his mom's voice repeat in his head. 'You should really try to make some friends at U.A dearie.' He smiled and spoke allowed, not knowing that Reika hadn't bailed out the window yet. "I think I have mom, two in fact.." The boy laughed happily to himself as he began to become covered in debris.

As debris began to rain down from the ceiling, Reika dodged piece after piece before diving out the window. She'd thought about Yoshio a little too late, too focused on trying not to get hit herself, that she had just naturally reacted and jumped out the window before considering anything else. She was already regretting it by the time she hit the ground. The girl rolled to a stop and then jumped back up to her feet, staring on as the tower collapsed with Yoshio still inside. Oh crap, oh god, oh crap, oh no!

The entire last remaining tower of Team 1's base fully collapses with Yoshio still inside with an orchestra of cracking wood and plunking bits of metal. After the dust settles the mountain of debris offers no further sounds from Yoshio. His right arm and hand simply sticks out from the edge of the rubble, motionless and silent.

From her safe spot in the distance, Reika could see something sticking out from beneath some wood. Oh god. He's not moving. She sprinted over to the tower, climbing over piles of wood and metal until she could reach Yoshio. It's fine, right? He's alright? He still didn't move. Frantically, Rei pulled at the boards, tossing them off the boy until his torso and head were revealed, reaching down to check for a pulse at the carotid artery.

Upon checking his pulse, Yoshio's life signs would appear to be fine. His pulse was still strong though he was most definitely knocked out from the multiple impacts of falling debris and the weight of it all at the end. Blood trickled out his nose and he had some cuts on his arms and some pretty hefty bruising but none of it seemed like it was any worse than the pronounced burn scar on his forearm.

Despite the supposedly superficial wounds, Yoshio was alive. Reika let out a relieved sigh and slouched over with fatigue, literally dropping down right next to Bakugo. So tired… Muscles so sore… "You really gave me a run for my money, Bakugo-san." Rei stared up at the sky, grinning from ear to ear. The grin slowly faded. If her parents found out that she beat the hero Bakugo's kid… that… would not be good. Not for the Academy or for any of the Heroes. Reika; however, would get all kinds of praise back home and with the WoB. Her parents wouldn't punish her, the group may actually respect her a little bit. And yet… something was urging her not to mention it. I guess… I could leave this ONE thing out of the report… She tilted her head to the side to look at Yoshio, letting out another large sigh. Even though he was unconscious, she spoke anyway. "Bakugo-san… I was really worried about coming here. But I had a lot of fun today, and part of that is thanks to you. So you better not have been going easy on me or it'll totally ruin this for me. I'll make sure your wounds are treated as soon as possible when the test is over so sit tight."

Yoshio had begun to hear a voice ringing in his ears as he began to come to. He heard Reika's voice and she was talking about him. She had fun today even though she was worried about coming to U.A. The blonde slowly opened his bright blue eyes and turned his head slowly so that he was looking up at her. With a smile he spoke softly to her. "Hey, you'll get no complaints from me. Don't worry, I give up. I'm in no position to keep going." He kept one of his eyes closed as he was still sore in a lot of places as he lifted up his right arm lazily towards Reika with the hand open towards her. "I'm glad we've both been proven wrong today. Mind helping me up Reika-san?" He'd say with a cheerful smile. Not even the thought of what his father may say or do could ruin this moment for him.

After 10 minutes, the final test began. Students from both sides of the field charged at each other while some lingered behind to defend their flags. Lairen charged in immediately, keeping to the side of the field near the trees. As much as he loved fighting, he loved winning even more and wasting time on anything other than retrieving the flag would just get in the way. However, he loathed the thought of having to face his sister. Sairen could easily win against Lairen by just telling him to stop, so he hoped that he wouldn't come into contact with her.

On the opposing side, Red continued forward when she saw the boy Lairen from her class running alongside the trees. Lairen couldn't see her, but just to be sure, she climbed up a tree. Jumping from branch to branch, she tried to make her way passed without causing to much noise when a branch broke under her weight, landing her directly in front of Lairen on her butt.

"Um oopsies," Red said, chuckling nervously. Her opponent was now clearly aware she was there, but seemingly paying no mind. For a moment, Lairen simply glanced down at her before resuming his run to his enemy's base.

"Hey wait, " Red called out, still on the ground while holding her hand out in a motion that signaled for him to wait. Lairen obliged, stopping just a few steps from the fallen girl and turning back to view her.

"Yes?," he questioned Red, taking a good look at her as if examining her. It took a moment to realize that she was in the Hero Course, but he couldn't seem to remember what her quirk was. Whatever it was, he didn't view her as a threat to his victory, so he decided to spare some time for her.

"Aren't we going to fight?,"
Red asked still on the ground. From her view, it seemed that the boy just didn't care enough, which was just a bit insulting to say the least.

"Get up first before we fight," he replied with a chuckle. The most gentlemanly thing to do would be offer her some help getting up, but Lairen wasn't a gentleman to his enemies, female or not. Instead, he waited patiently for her to rise to her feet.

"Oh, all right," Red said, realizing she was still on the ground. Getting up she activated her quirk, a light shining between her hands, she placed them together. Soon after she pulled them apart an object seeming to come out, once the glowing light was gone, she was holding a 5'7 aluminum bo staff. Taking stance, she started to rush Lairen, thrusting the bo staff in a jabbing method at his gut.

The man watched in interest as a staff was conjured by the girl. He had to admit, it was a fascinating quirk. It wasn't long before she began charging at him, the end of the staff thrusting at his stomach. The attack was simple and didn't require the use of his quirk to dodge. In one fluid motion, he sidestepped left of the attack to avoid contact with the staff, his eyes glancing sideways at the woman as his lips slowly curved into a smile. Noticing Lairen dodge easily, from where the staff was she swung at his side, the staff slamming into him. Despite the heavy impact against his side, his expression did not change. Instead, he seemed almost delighted by the thrill of a fight. "Is that it?" He questioned her, waiting for her to reply with another attack. Red looked a bit creeped out before swinging the bo staff around he and thrusting at his gut again. His hand raised to the expected point of impact, blocking the attack with his hand. It was a heavy hit and one that surely injured him, but he didn't seem to mind. With a glance over at the other battles, it seemed like his teammates were doing well, but he wanted to be the one to win this, or at least show off more than Yoshio. While one hand blocked the attack, the other grasped the staff tightly as his entire body became enveloped in flickering flames. His eyes narrowed at her and his smile widened as he said, "Come. I don't have time to play." Dropping the staff Red jumped back widening the distance between the two, reactivating her quirk she created a water gun on steroids "Try this on" she said with a smirk and shot it at him, the water shooting forward much like a riot hose. Lairen, not wanting to counter the water in fear of overheating, directed his flames into his hands, which were now facing down. Stiffening his body, he released the flames to push himself into the air. Now midair, he moved so that one hand pointed behind him while the other pointed towards her. Without hesitating, he shot out a stream of blazing fire from both hands, one to keep him stable and the other to attack her. Red aimed the water at the fire and tried to fight the fire back with the water. The clash of the two opposite elements created steam all around them, which was thick enough to hide the movements of the other. Noticing this, Lairen ceased his flames and fell back onto the ground, moving around immediately to prevent any attacks. Red stopped firing trying to look through the steam unable to do so. He took this moment to move around her, his steps silent as he approached her from behind. In a one fluid motion, he lifted his hand and brought it down upon the back of her neck to leave her unconscious. Lairen caught her in his arms when she began to fall before placing her gently on the ground, the steam disappearing soon after. The smile faded from his face as he looked at her then proceeded to the flag.

Gathering her bearings, it didn't seem anyone had any objections to her general plan, nor her being an attacker. For lack of a better term as the others went about their own plans, did that make her something of a leader in all of this? Putting her thoughts aside, a mission was at hand, the flag needed to be captured and the enemy team observed, with her radio the positions could be reported back as needed. But for now the capture of the flag held top priority.

Peering through the canopy with her head detached Misoka performs a quick scan of the horizon before plopping back down, pushing her way forward. So far she hadn't ran into anyone and could carry out her snatch plan, but that didn't mean her luck would remain so fortunate for the whole time.

After following along with everyone Sora was already scoping out the terrain and thinking up strategies as well as advantages for their team. Unfortunately a few members of his team were from General Studies so he was unaware of their Quirks so it made strategizing a bit more tasking. Upon arriving at their base Sora took stock of the limited supplies they were given. 'Hmm, comms will be useful though if anyone has an electric related Quirk they could also be used against us….Rope can come in handy…' He thought as he went through the large bag.

Finally when it was time for them to prepare Sora decided to step forward. "Hello, I'm Ryunosuke, Sora. If nobody minds I would like to take the responsibility of leader and/or strategist for this team. For those who don't know my Quirks are Senses Cancellation and I'm also a slight Empath." He stated in a clear, confident tone as his mismatched eyes scanned over everyone. Luckily nobody seemed to have a problem with his suggestion, and the planning stage insued.

Once the flare shot off high into the clear sky Sora was already in place on the close outskirts of their base, he was making patrols just outside the walls to look for any invaders as well as expand his Quirk's radius to each end of the perimeter just in case their was an invisibility of camouflage Quirk on the opposing team. While Sairen was on the upper level of their base and Kaizu was on the lower level as a last line of defense. Of course Yoshio ignored his plans and decided to blast off straight for the enemies base, something he pretty much counted on and planned to take advantage of as a distraction. So far he didnt feel any foreign presence in his Empath or Senses Fail range. Just the nervousness and excitement from his fellow comrades. But he kept a sharp eye on the lookout nonetheless.

Using her head as a makeshift periscope Misoka carries out a recon, calling it in to the others.

"Hey hey. Okay guys, we have one on the outside, one on the lower level and one on the upper, I'm going to try getting in well enough to snatch the flag for one of you, unless I can make a run for it. Well Good Luck."

It seemed the one on watch was Sora, did his ability have a dead zone or was it less than visual range? Or maybe it worked off of hostility. Whatever the case it would be a little difficult moving in on him she suspected. Not that it mattered much, she had a little bit of a trump card in store for him, even if he got the first attack in.

Working her way through the forest, she needed to deal with him quickly and quietly once he showed up, or just avoid him for that matter all together, it wasn't like she was purposely out to hurt him. But if he was left alone he could detect the rest sooner or later.

With her blue flame like aura collecting around her body, the young girl loosens the connection to her arms keeping her eyes and ears peeled for any sudden attacks or movements.

~~~
Sora kept his own senses on high alert as he waited for the inevitable attack to come. It was only a matter of time now before someone from the opposing team would find their base. The question was whether who struck first, him or them. His ear perked up at the very faint rustling of leaves coming from the surrounding forest. His eyes snapped to the spot the sound was coming from….Only to see a Squirrel chasing another Squirrel up a tree. Sighing he slumped forward a little right before he felt someone. There was a foreign set of emotions slowly approaching their base through the forest, he couldn't detect exactly what they were feeling but one emotion stood out. Confidence.
Whoever this opponent was, they weren't scared or very nervous at all and that could be either very dangerous or very reckless. Acting as if he didn't sense a thing Sora continued to make his rounds as they drew closer. He knew by now they had spotted him, but he wasn't going to let the opportunity of surprise escape. So once they reached a good 2ft inside his "radius" he finally activated his Senses Fail. Taking away the intruder's eyesight instantly before turning to where he felt their emotions coming from and making a beeline for them. Once within sight Sora was surprised to find the redhead from before that had the detachable limbs.
~~~~

"Ah that's a dirty trick. I wonder though.."

Detaching her head, the object bobs up and down with it's eerie blue flame glowing. "Ah, I forgot something so I guess it doesn't really matter, you'll fall just the same Ahahahaha!"

In truth half the time her physical connection to her parts was more focused on a form of sensing that she didn't fully understand, even the times her head got too far away her body could navigate to it with no use of sight or sound. But she never used it to attack another person, on the other hand she did seem him the two feet prior now was time to use that strange connection to her parts, regardless if she could see or not in this new state, that was something she wasn't about to admit one way or the other. "Ehehe, Sorry about this Sora-Kun I normally like to help the weak than to beat them, though your power is interesting, you'll become strong in your own way one day~ But for now I have a job to do."

With her head zooming in on him, she has a rather malicious grin to her face, as her right arm fires from her body trailing her blue aura. "ROCKET PUUUUUNCH!" While there was no need to yell the attack, she did it anyways, using what senses she had to guide her arm towards Sora at high speed, her head acting as a form of guidance device from the looks of it.

~~~
Sora expected the woman, Misoka he remembered, to use her Quirk via detaching her limbs. Even her head apparently….Ya that wasn't creepy. What he didn't expect was her having such accurate aim despite being blind, it hardly even seemed to faze her. Frowning Sora made use of his cat-like reflexes and rolled to the left, dodging the propelled fist that otherwise would of made contact with his chest in a very painful way. Rolling to his feet he glared at his opponent, the last remark of him being weak that came from her hitting a kind of sore spot for him.
"Assuming your opponent weak can lead to your downfall Misoka-san, my turn." He countered in a slightly darker tone. Suddenly Misoka would lose her hearing as well as her sight. Though Sora can take 2 senses at once it drained his energy rather quickly so he usually preferred to stick to one. But seeing as his opponent wasn't the average guppy….He had to resort to some more extreme measures.
Taking the opportunity of surprise once again Sora charged straight for Misoka's headless torso, making a small leap into the air he stretched his leg out planning to kick her right in the gut and hopefully knock the air out of her. He would of aimed for her chest but that could cause more damage than he wanted to inflict. They weren't real enemies afterall.
~~
"Ah, but I'm weak as well aren't I? Together the weak are strong, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Only by seeing that, can we become strong. Sora-Kun"
Bobbing her head along to follow him, the severed limb plops down in front of him, smiling. "I'm not limited to one direction." With that her right arm turns in flight guiding in on the tracker head, as her smile turns into wide grin followed by a cackle. "Or one fist." Listening to the air rustling around him, had he tried a jump kick? Either way..
"UMPH!" Feeling the blow to her chest, her head makes a gasping sound, but quickly recovers. "Grrrr!" as her body kneels over from the stomach blow using it's left to grab Sora by the field shirt, her right arm continues along the path as her clenched fist connects under his jaw, actually lifting him slightly, throwing him backwards. As his vision begins to fade into unconsciousness Misoka's own slowly returns. Breathing heavily as she clenches her stomach with her left, her right arm reconnects following suit with her head.
Standing over him the blue aura flames and sinister smirk to a casual observer it would seem threatening, till she leans down to check his pulse. "Ah good! Ahahaha, didn't mean to hit you that hard...hmm.." While still winded, the girl works carefully to prop him up against a near by tree.
"Now for that flag Ehehehe." Observing the following battles she would move in close to the tower and use her head or arm to snatch the flag before running back to base, with luck this would work, informing the others over the radio all she had to do was wait.
Sairen Monoma Vs Marina Matsuyama
Sairen couldn't help but feel disappointed that she and her brother were not on the same team. It meant that she would have to really be careful about using her quirk, if she even chose to use it. It was just a mock battle, but she wanted to do well. After all, if she wanted to be a hero, she was going to have to improve and learning to control her quirk was the first step. Soon, the battle commenced, causing students from both teams to start rushing the other, but she remained close to the base in order to defend. If she didn't have any hostile intent, then hopefully her quirk would be easier to control.
It wasn't long before a girl from the opposing team broke through Team 2's line of attack and made her way straight toward the base. The other defenders were occupied with their own opponents, which left Sairen to take on the attacker. As the girl neared, Sairen recognized her as Marina from the General Studies Course. It was a bit of a shocker that of all people, Sairen had to face someone she had wanted to be friends with. As reluctant as she was to confront her, she also didn't want to be blamed for their teams loss.
Marina was quick, most likely due to her monkey-like qualities, but Sairen still managed to catch up to the girl, running alongside her for a moment. The two made eye contact and with the realization that she wouldn't be able to lose her, Marina attacked by taking a sharp turn at her. The sudden change in direction caught Sairen off guard, but she was able to evade by halting immediately, the body of the other female zooming past her and coming to a stop. The two stared at each other once again before lunging at each other. Sairen prepared to throw a punch at her, but the feeling of something coming out of her arm stopped her. Instead, she dodged the punch thrown at her by Marina and backed away quickly to examine her arm. A blade had begun to protrude from her forearm, ripping her gym uniform. It took a moment to retract, but Marina wasted no time in attacking once more, coming at her with her fist balled. Unsure of what to do and with not enough time to think, Sairen panicked. Blades shot out of her back and curved forward as if to protect her entire body. Marina halted thanks to her quick reactions as Sairen stood there, both showing clear surprise and shock at what had just happened.
For a moment, they just stared at each other. The blades began to retract back into her, leaving the entire back of her gym uniform torn to expose her bare back. Her eyes glistened with oncoming tears as she raised her hand. "I surrender," she stated sadly, watching as Marina simply turned her back and raced to the the base. Sairen turned as well and walked to the waiting area, her hair covering what little of the exposed back as it could.
The final event was beginning, and after her own dreadful performance in the rest of the exams, Takagi was ecstatic to take part in an event that played to her advantage. That dismembered girl's prank and Yuu's own comment in regards to her had cut down her morale severely, but now was the time for her to excel. Of course, she couldn't go all out—there wasn't a need to kill or cripple anyone here, after all. Still, she'd be capable of so much more here than before. Really, so terrible that Yuutsu thought she had to be holding back...
Once again, Takagi hung her head in despair before giving her cheek a light slap. Just as he had said, she just had to show what she was capable of when it really mattered.
As the groups were organized and given time to strategize, her own didn't take the time to develop a plan. Rather, a few simply stated whether they would center on defense or offense. With a smirk, Takagi voiced her own position as well. "I'm going on the offensive," She stated to her team, looking over the opposition. Takagi wanted to not only win in her assault, but to win against one of the more prodigious students. The ones that took the spotlight and excelled in the tests thus far. Yuutsu was on the enemy team, which was unfortunate. He was strong, certainly, but fighting and beating him wouldn't exactly make her feel better from her pitiful performance thus far. Misoka as well, and as much as getting the prankster back for earlier sounded ever so satisfying in her mind, Takagi wanted to aim higher. Setting her eyes on Shouya, she grinned. The other recommendation. He would be a perfect target.
As the signal flare shot up, the attackers on both teams charged, Takagi included. Charging passed the enemy attackers, it was clear since the beginning who her target was. She held a smirk throughout her advance, though no obvious change made itself apparent. By now it was obvious that Takagi's quirk was subtle, either that or impossible to make use of in the prior exams, but for someone who had performed with such mediocrity before, she certainly seemed much more confident.
Eight out of the nine tests were done, and both teachers brought the students to a different location. Here, it was revealed that both classes were to be divided into two teams. They would have to work together in order to grab the flag of the opposing team. Once the explanation was over and done with, they were all given ten minutes to strategize and form a plan against their opponents.
While some were eager to go on the offensive, Shouya decided it would probably be for the best if he stayed behind and made sure no one would snatch the flag from their own base. "I'll stay behind and defend our flag." Ten minutes passed by in a flash, and the battle between the both teams had begun.
At this rate, it was a given that for Shouya and a bunch of others, their Quirks would be revealed and put to test. It was interesting in his mind, and he was wondering who would make it to the base and eventually end up facing him. At some point he was hoping it would be Yoshio, but other than him, there were others who he was curious about as well.
Unfortunately, Yuutsu was on his team. Paying it no mind no more, he simply stood at his respective position, with his radio on. Misoka was already on her way to get the flag, and with her Quirk, it would perhaps be an easy feat.
A serious expression was plastered on Shouya's face. Battles around the area had already begun. People were already fighting one another in order to win. Yoshio had unfortunately stumbled upon Reika, but while that was happening, Takagi came rushing in, towards him, towards Shouya.
Nonetheless, he was prepared. He began exhaling and inhaling slowly. Focused on his opponent ahead, the temperature around him decreased. If anything, one could literally see him breathing. Below his right feet, the ground had become ice, but in the color of pure white.
The wind was almost if not howling, whereas his white hair fluttered ever so slightly. The ice below his feet extended, and literally moved like a snake towards Takagi. Shouya was hoping she would step on it, allowing him to freeze her entire body, or up to her neck, if he ever so wished for.
_______________________
Her opponent faced her, obviously prepared. Unlike her own expression, Shouya's was serious and professional. Takagi could spot foggy breath as he exhaling paired with a chilling temperature. Frost began to materialize on the ground around him. He was preparing to use his ice, that much she could surmise. What would be hard to tell is how he would use it. The quirk was versatile, and his personality differed greatly from the two that controlled flame. Very cautious and tactical. While likely capable of simply flooding the area in a glacier, chances are he would prefer attacks more subtle and precise.
Suddenly, the frost covering the ground he stood on shot out across the flooring and directly towards her. Catering to her image of him, it seemed Shouya wouldn't give her a chance to get close. The attack was fast and low to the ground, but still was rather direct and simple to evade. The fact that neither he nor anyone else knew her quirk gave her an advantage. If Takagi had an accurate picture of her adversary, he was likely to play it safe and compensate for attacks and openings that Takagi wasn't actually able to make use of. It gave her time to test out exactly how much control Shouya had, or so she thought.
As Takagi sidestepped the incoming streak of ice it curved and chased after her, catching a few feet further. The moment the frost touched her heel, it shot upwards, encasing her completely save for the neck up. Grimacing, the freezing cold was more than enough to wipe the cocky expression off her face. As she began to struggle, it was obvious that she was incapable of breaking free. This looked to be a quick win for Shouya and another pitiful loss for Takagi.
_______________________
His ice moved in a beeline, yet his opponent, Takagi was sure to evade it, which she did. However his ice was unique and different. He could do so much more with it. It too, turned in the direction of his fellow student, eventually catching up, and encasing her body with ice.
Shouya's mind was calm and collected. He could see from a distant that Takagi was struggling against it, let alone, surprised by what his Quirk could do. His crimson red eyes squinted ever so slightly, knowing that it couldn't be this easy.
He was never the type to underestimate his opponent no matter who he or she was, or what they were capable of doing. If anything, he was strategic and would always observe and stay one step ahead of his opponents. Surely someone who enrolled into the U.A. Academy through a recommendation could do more than to fall for his first move.
Standing there, Shouya eventually took one or two steps to the side, keeping his gaze fixated towards Takagi. There were no words to be shared from his point of view.
_______________________
Struggling for a few moments more, Takagi had hoped that she could at least get him to take a few steps forward, but Shouya was much too cautious for that. With a sigh, her smirk returned suddenly as her hair begin to sway. "D-Don't want to get closer...? My... so paranoid of a girl stuck in a rock of ice..." She chimed at him, not that she expected him to lose his cool at a simple comment, but Takagi wouldn't be Takagi without taunting and teasing those around her.
Suddenly, Takagi's hair rose on its own, curved downwards and shot into the ice, shattering her encasing to pieces. Fighting against the crippling cold, groupings of strands gripped several larger blocks of ice and used the frosty debris as projectiles to be sent at Shouya. Despite the possibility of gaining hypothermia, his attack at least worked to her advantage in giving her supplies to close the distance. Then again, now that he saw what she could do, next time he tried to freeze her it was doubtful that he would stop at the neck.
As the ice blocks shot at Shouya, Takagi once again charged forward, albeit this time subtle changes appeared about her person. The skin on her hands and lower arms began to tense and harden while the nails on her fingers elongated and sharpened. It was unfortunate, but there wasn't much of a possibility of her incapacitating him without roughing him up a bit. Still, this wasn't an actual fight, so Takagi would make sure to avoid using her claws on him rather than as tools to cut his ice.
_______________________
Her taunt did not change his demeanor, especially when he noticed how her hair moved and penetrated the ice encasing her body like a drill. Once she was no longer incapacitated, she used his own ice against him.
Shouya's eyes were fixated on her hair, but had to focus on the projectiles coming his way. Raising his hand towards them, he simply balled his hand into a fist, shattering the ice projectiles in the air. One thing was pretty clear. Shouya's ability to manipulate ice was much more advanced than to that of the famous Shota Todoroki.
Nevertheless, this allowed for Takagi to get closer. The projectiles were more or less a distraction, or so he felt. He could clearly see that her body had gone through a change. It was likely because of her Quirk.
Even if he could fight her in close combat, he knew that because of her Quirk, it would be difficult, and her sharpened nails could do some serious damage unless prepared. "How long can your body stay like that?" He simply asked a question he didn't expect an answer to.
During that moment, he simply placed his hand on the surface beneath him. Only a few seconds later, a circle of ice had formed around him. The ground basically opened up before rocks of ice blasted through it. As if the surface had exploded around him.
"I'll return the favor." He added, before he tilted his head up from the surface, looking back at Takagi. Ice, in the shape of spears were going straight for his opponent, but not all of them were directly aimed at her, some were likely going to pass by her, and that was intentional.
_______________________
Watching the projectiles explode, it seemed his level of control far surpassed that of what Takagi expected of him. It seemed as though he didn't need to touch his ice in order to manipulate it. That would be an issue. If she wanted to beat him, she would either have to wear him down, which she wasn't sure she could do, or go on the offensive in close quarters. Getting within arms-length however is what was proving to be an issue.
Hearing a remark from him, Takagi let a grin grace her lips. "I wonder... Let's just say you won't be beating me in a match of endurance."
After her counter-remark, Takagi noted Shouya preparing for another attack, though she was ill-prepared for what exactly it was. An explosion resonated surrounding her opponent with flying spears of ice following it. With a click of her tongue, images of the first exam flashed in her mind. Somehow, he managed to boost the ball via some manner of explosion. If he could make use of his ice to mimic grenades and shrapnel...
As the spears closed the distance, Takagi ducked low to evade the one which would have hit her otherwise, which stunted her charge for a short while, however she continued to run as soon as she recovered. Once again her hair began still and straighten along her back. It was the most she could do to create a shield for her in the case that he was planning what she assumed him to be. She couldn't afford to halt. If he managed to pin her for even a moment, he could take her out for good.
_______________________
As expected, Takagi dodged his attack, but that didn't mean she was safe. Not at all. Balling his hand into a fist once more, the spears made out of ice exploded behind her, though she was able to withstand the impact. It also pushed her closer to Shouya himself.
His focus unchanged, it looked like they were going to end up in close combat with one another. Shouya could have obviously done a lot more with his Quirk to keep her away, or incapacitate her in many ways. The only thing he had to be careful of, was her changed body, and lets not forget that hair.
If it could harden itself, then perhaps her body did the same, other than turning her slightly into an animal if anything. "Heh.." A smirk was plastered on his face. She was already underestimating him. Moments before they were about to clash, Shouya had already thought of a few things he could do.
_______________________
Takagi survived the impact and was just short of getting Shouya right where she wanted her. His quirk was powerful and his control impressive, but she prided herself on her ability in close quarters combat. If she could put him on the defensive for once and keep him from using any finishing moves, she could wear him down and win.
As she closed the gap, a smirk made itself apparent on his face. It was a strange look on the thus far serious student. Did he have something planned? Was he underestimating her? It was odd on someone who rarely used such an expression. "Hoh? I almost thought you were stuck scowling for life."
Dashing within arms reach, Takagi launched a knuckled assault on Shouya, throwing quick, precise jabs paired with swipes from groupings of her hair. Utilizing her hair like an extra set of limbs, strikes from flesh would complement cleaves from her main. Like how a boxer would leave them self open when throwing a punch, Takagi seemed aware of chinks in her armor and as such always made sure she had something covering her in the case of a counter.
_______________________
Shouya was slightly surprised by how crafty she was in Close Combat. Using her fists in combination with her hair, he was able to dodge her jabs, fists and what may come in the beginning but something always got through.
His clothes were slightly thorn, and visible scratches were on his arm, his chest, and his left shoulder. Takagi was definetely someone who enjoyed fighting someone up close. Shouya wasn't one to let her throw a punch or always go on the offensive.
A small opening occured, giving him the opportunity to hopefully land a punch, but instead he grabbed her arm, but quickly let it go from the pressure emanating from Takagi. There were many moments where he merely just grabbed her arm, or touched her abdomen.
A mere second later, a jab was coming straight for his face. It was something he couldn't dodge, but thanks to his Quirk he could stop it, or slow it. The floor beneath his feets turned into ice, before an arc-shaped wall of ice came forth, right between both Takagi and Shouya.
_______________________
At first glance, her plan was working. Shouya was effectively put on defense, only being allowed few opportunities to so much as lightly touch her. Still, though he didn't seem skilled when it came to hand to hand like her, his reflexes were still admirable. Regardless, some of her strikes still managed to hit, tearing his clothes or bruising his body.
Grinning, she spotted another opening, square in the middle of his face. Sending a strong right hook at him, a wall of ice intercepted the attack, and though her arm smashes through, it embedded itself within the ice. With a huff, her hair lifted over her head and whipped down at the ice, smashing and cracking what held her arm in place.
As the wall crumbled and Takagi regained her stance, she once more charged with a left hook, fully intending to miss. However, she momentum would be used to follow with a clockwise spin and a back kick with her right leg. With hope the sudden switch of attack would catch him off guard. If she could land a good, solid hit and stun him...
_______________________
The wall did its trick, but she was able to penetrate through it with the force behind her punch. Shouya knew now that she could harden her body as well, just like her hair, and next time, his ice would be a lot harder to punch through.
However, once the wall was gone, his opponent continued her assault, coming in with a right hook. Thats where she was overconfident in her skill. There was a reason for why Shouya had rather grabbed her arm, or touched her on the abdomen and so on.
Shouya could control his ice, and decrease and increase how fast it would spread. At this point, it was nothing but a mere dot on her arm, or on her abdomen. Though over time, the dot was no longer that. It had become bigger, but still unnoticable. It was all thanks to how focused Takagi was in her fight against him.
Her left hook was no longer fast, it was slow, and that arm was now frozen. The ice on her abdomen had spread like wildfire, covering her legs and all the way up to her neck. Takagi obviously used her hair once more to remove the ice that was about to encase her entire body.
Increasing the speed of the ice, and manipulating it, her hair was encased in ice as well, only leaving her mouth, nose and eyes visible to the public. Shouya could see that Takagi was surprised. Did she have another trick up her sleeve?
Shouya was not eager to find it out. He'd rather the test be finished. Static noise came from the radio, before Misoka's voice could be heard. She had taken Team 2's flag and was on her way back. The tower next to them was obliterated by the fight between Reika and Yoshio, whereas the latter had lost.
Or so he had noticed. It was almost if not time for his own fight with Takagi to end as well. "It looks like your team is losing." Shouya abundantly made it clear, before approaching her frozen body.
The woman before her was basically incapacitated. "Just to be safe." He added, before touching the floor beneath her, creating a rather huge Glacier that too, became one with Takagi's frozen body.
Standing before her, with his hands pocketed, he simply looked away towards Reika and Yoshio, before moving his attention back at Takagi. "I wanted you to come up close and fight me. Thank you for being reckless with your actions."
_______________________
Just as her hook had shot at him, suddenly her limb became an unbearable weight encased in a block of ice. The frost spread across her completely in seconds. Not only her arm, but her legs and torso, even going so far as to travel up the back of her neck and encase her hair too. All but her face was left trapped, and aside from the pain from frozen temperature touching skin, the injury to her pride was just as decimating.
Gritting her teeth, Takagi began to futily struggle, though it was clear this time that there wasn't anything the girl could do to break free. Pulling, pushing and rocking what little she could, her casing didn't even budge or chip. So focused on breaking free, somehow, she almost missed what he had said. "What?"
Glancing over at the area around them, what he said was true. Her team was losing, though that didn't matter as much to her. The point was that she lost. Through every single exam, she failed miserably. She could've tried to comfort herself, telling herself that she was holding back and couldn't fight as brutally as she would've due to them not actually being enemies, but chances were that Shouya was holding back as well.
Standing before her, the man was nonchalant as ever. Fully sure of himself. It was as if he predicted an outcome no different from this one. Scowling at him and his remark, obviously she was displeased with this.
"...I haven't lost yet," Takagi stated stubbornly, which sounded rather ridiculous coming from someone in an icy coffin.
She was stuck and unable to move. Her team was faltering and most certainly Takagi had failed in every exam up till the current one. It certainly appeared as though she had more than lost. However, what she referred to was her declaration in the classroom. To her, this was a battle, not the entire war. Though she was sure plenty looked upon her like some sort of princess, she wasn't so spoiled. Any losses or failures she took hard and seriously. If she wasn't fast enough to dodge, she needed to become faster. If she wasn't strong enough to break through a barrier, she needed to become stronger. She wasn't going to cry about how she lost, she would do everything in her power to make sure next time, she won.
Though for now, it was a matter of waiting for the mock battle to end. The victors were all but decided, simply the instructors were required to call it.
Not that long after everyone finished the next test would be given to them. A team against team competition, or well a capture the flag test to be more precise. Much to his surprise they weren't putting Hero's class against the General's class, they were mixing it up which was a nice twist. Yet he wondered if these teams could work together or compliment each other. The last couple of students were picked with him being the last choice for Team 1 where one of them was rather happy about his joining of their team. Giving Reika a smile at the positive reaction, he would join his team as they were led to their tower and given some supplies which was nice but how long were they going to be out here for exactly?
The detachment lady Misoka threw a plan their way which he gave a thumbs up to agreeing with Reika just not him being a defender. Granted he would probably be a good power defender, but he would also be a good attacker as well. "I myself would like to go on the offensive. I can probably keep a couple of them distracted long enough for someone to go and get their flag." he would voice what he wanted to do in this plan not caring who was picked leader, besides whoever stated the plan usually was the leader anyway. One of them had super eyesight and could do illusions, so far they had recon down perfectly, so when the flare gun went off and he heard what was probably that Bakugo kid's quirk going off, he gave a wave to his team and ran out of their tower and burst off the ground with his own quirk.
Landing near their tower he took off running towards it only for him to spot a black haired woman also running at him. He held up his palm getting ready to attack when suddenly he tripped and fell flat on his face. Trying to get up as quickly as possible, the girl still managed to deliver a solid kick to his face causing his head to ring a bit as he pushed her away. As he tried to stand up, he somehow managed to slip on dry grass and fall back on his butt. What was this woman doing? The woman came at him again, so he held his palm out toward hers but as she neared him instead of a beam shooting from his palm, a purple/pink light started charging only to blow up in his hand. This caught both by surprise as it hit both of them sending them flying away from each other.
As he was now a reasonable distance from her, he managed to get to his feet and would look at the burn marks on his right hand. His entire hand was throbbing in pain but he aimed it at her again hoping it wouldn't explode this time, which it didn't a beam fired from his hand and was shooting right at Queen when it vanished. Straight up just vanished. Okay what the actual hell? She wasn't doing anything and he didn't feel discouraged, so he should still have plenty left in the tank for attacks. So why did they just vanish? Was it a quirk eraser? No otherwise he wouldn't be doing anything right now. What was she doing that was causing this to happen?
Pouting he would let her get close this time, trying to activate his quirk for a quick ball of his will to fire at her only for it to flicker but died out in a second. Well good to know his quirk was just pointless near her then, must be some quirk disruption or something. yet when he took a step and slipped again slamming on his back, he seriously wondered just what the heck this woman was doing to him. As she came closer to probably try and kick him again, he stuck his leg out this time letting her run into it, stopping her in her tracks as she made an oof sound upon impact. Grabbing her arm with his left hand, he would yank her forward and ram his fist into her face. Sending her stumbling back, which allowed him to get up and ram into her, only for when he did. He ended up falling on her as well.
Pulling himself off her, with some added effort with her kicking him off. She would jump on his back and wrap her arm around his neck in what was an attempted sleeper hold. Her grip tightened as she locked it in further by wrapping her arms around his neck. Trying to yank her off wasn't working as well as he hoped, so in a desperate maneuver. He bit her arm. Sure enough as his teeth left marks on her right arm, she let go and dropped to the ground. Darting away on the ground to avoid him grabbing her, he followed suit as she got up he started to stumble. Prompting her to run back towards him, yet he caught himself this time and as she skidded to try and stop he reached out and slammed his palm into her stomach. What resulted was him trying to use his quirk and what followed was an explosion again. Sending him tumbling to the ground and her flying and slamming right into the tower.
Of course she started dropping towards the ground, but he burst off it and caught her just before her collision with it. Look at her blank face he could see she was out cold. Probably from the whiplash of smashing into the tower, the explosion most likely also helped. Seeing the burn mark on her stomach region, he felt a bit bad about having to use that to his advantage. Propping her against the tower, he would be informed that Misoka has secured the flag, hearing that he decided to head on back to his team's tower. He still wondered why he couldn't use his quirk fully against her though. It worked but didn't then their was his constant falling.
Hearing Yoshio respond suddenly put the girl in fight mode again, and she quickly rolled from her back onto her feet in a crouched position, one arm pulled back and ready to punch some lights out. Despite the touching moment they were having, she was still trained to fight and she still wanted to win this battle. Luckily, Yoshio actually admitted his defeat and even asked for her help up. Right now, this guy looked nothing like his father or his brother. "S-Stop using my given name." She relaxed finally out of her ready position, but did not offer her hand to the guy. "And… as much as I'd like to help you up right now, you're still the enemy until this battle is over."
Her radio clicked and Misoka's voice came over, stating that she was heading back with Team 2's flag. "But maybe not for long? Plus... you've still got a few minutes until your clothes turn back to normal. Just relax here for a bit and we'll get you up soon enough." Reika gave him a big smile and then pushed herself up to stand before wandering back toward her team's flag. It looked like Ishida was getting back too so she gave the boy a wave and rooted herself in front of the "flag". Unfortunately for Yoshio, she'd left him lying in the remains of tower 2 until the test was over. He could still be seen just lying there in granite clothes.
"Did you have any problems?" She asked Yuuki, brushing dirt and grime from her own clothes. When her scales started to recede, her skin was covered in small burns, bruises, and scorch marks. But overall, she looked alright. As she swiped at her clothes, waiting for Yuuki's answer, her line of sight landed back on Yoshio for a few seconds. Sorry, Bakugo… I had the advantage this time. You and your brother have the same Quirks after all.
Appolline was basically bubbling with energy as she followed her team to their base to plan. Unfortunately though she really didnt know anyone on her team, Marina and Sofie had been picked for the other team. 'I really hope I dont have to fight one of them…' She thought already feeling a little guilty. She forced herself to snap out of it though as she listened to their impromptu leader, Sora. He wanted her as an Attacker, something she foresaw coming given her Quirks. So when the flare whizzed into the air she was a little aggravated when Yoshio ignored their plan and dashed off by himself. 'Boys…' Shaking her head she did her best to ignore him while heading out herself to try and find a more subtle way into their enemies base.
After a little bit of sneaking through the forest-while trying not to freak out everytime she encountered a blasted spider- she spotted a blur of blue and white running to the side of her. 'Hmm…' Deciding it was time to lose her stealthy approach App went full throttle toward the person. It could of been one of her own teammates but she had a feeling it might be the enemy. And she was right….To her utter disappointment as she discovered the blur of color was none other than….Sofie.
~~~~~

It didn't feel like long after the groups gathered to discuss their strategies that the starting flare was fired off. The team didn't really seem to come together with any sort of plans, rather it appeared they were just going to wing it as someone was already flying towards their base with explosive speed. After having seen him in the tests before hand Sofie assumed it was the Bakugo child heading straight for them. Not wanting to be caught by him, as she knew she could not stand up against him or likely anyone from the hero course, Sofie quickly abandoned the base before it became the first battle ground. Sighing in relief, she soon found herself inside the forest that was nearby. "Whew glad i got out of there, good luck whomever has to fight him" she said quietly to herself before putting her own plan in motion.

Moving through the forest she knew she wouldn't have much time before the enemy team would arrive. She soon found her ideal location as she quickly started to work on summoning an illusion, one of her holding their team's flag. After that she would move to a nearby tree and bend a branch back far, holding it in place with some of the string they were provided in their survival bags. She had set up her trap so when someone would go to attack her or try to grab the flag from her all they would do is feel the plunk of the string before a branch would come flying at them. Sofie smirked as she was satisfied with her work and now waiting in hiding for her first victim to show up. Shortly after she did she could hear someone barreling towards her position, no doubt at the illusion she made. Peaking her eyes through the bushes no more than 4 ft away she was surprised to see her friend. Nooo not you App...I don't want to fight you…..maybe if i just stay hidden she will go away. Sofie thought to herself as she waited for Appolline to trigger her trap.

~~~~~~~
App found it odd that Sofie, seemingly holding the flag, had no real reaction to seeing her. 'Ouch….' She thought mentally. Taking the girl's lack of reaction as a jab to their budding friendship. "I'm sorry Sofe, I didnt want to fight you. But…" Sighing with regret App thrust her hand out, her arm extending with it as she reached to grab the flag the other white haired girl was holding….Only to have her hand pass right through it instead. She only had a second to be surprised though as she heard a faint twing before a tree branch came flying right for her face. As it made impact App was stark still for a few moments, the branching sliding away to reveal a pretty accurate imprint of it right on her face.
Scowling the rubber girl shook her head sharply which seemed to make her face go back to its original shape. "Oh now you gone and done it!" She exclaimed with a laugh of all things as she suddenly grinned big. Her sunset colored eyes searching the surrounding area for the real Sofie. She wasnt mad like most people would be, she actually thought the trick was pretty smart, she was getting excited now. Noticing a splash of white that shouldnt be there Appolline launched her hand out once more going straight for the hidden Sofie. Hopefully this one wasnt another illusion.
~~~~~

Sofie quietly waited and watched as Appolline stretched her hand out to try and grab the fake flag only to be met by the tree branch to the face. Sofie couldn't help but giggle softly to herself as she could see the moment App realized it was a trap, but failed to dodge it. Rather instead her face seemed imprinted with the shape of the branch, a rather funny sight as Sofie laid on the ground thinking to herself. hmmm she didn't use her quirk…. What could she be hiding? Sofie thought to herself as App regained her composure as well as a big grin while redoubling her efforts to find the real Sofie.

With a quick declaration directed towards her saying she had done it now Sofie was thinking about how she would make her next move. Though to her surprise another fist was coming right at her, unable to react in time it landed straight on her head. Rolling on her sides she held the top of her head where App had landed her strike "ow ow ow owwww that really hurt App….how could you aim straight at my head?" she questioned in disbelief knowing full well where the tree branch had just hit App moments ago. Quickly getting to her feet she had to be ready to fight, though she was not good in close quarters she had an idea on what might help her win the fight.

Slowly she walked closer to App while speaking "oh App...do we really have to fight?" she said looking remorseful as she looked upon her friend, App probably didn't know much about Sofie's quriks as she didn't App's so hopefully she would fall for her next ruse. Once Sofie was within arms reach of Appolline, Sofie quickly used her leg to try and strike at App's legs to knock her down. She would then start to form a large brick wall in between them before pushing it down to come crashing on App, figuratively. Believing App would not see through her ruse, when she had finished her wall and pushed it over she quickly ran to hide up in a nearby tree while planning her next attack.

~~~~~~~
Appolline gave a small "Yes!" as her hit connected with solid material rather than another illusion. It wasnt a hard hit by any means though, more like a playful tap. But Sofie's reaction did make her feel instantly contrite. Rubbing the back of her head she gave her a sheepish smile. "Well you did hit me in the face with a branch…" She reminded with a "Heh". Although when Sofie started to approach her asking if she really wanted to fight she frowned. "Not really...At least not you-" But before she could finished her sentence App was suddenly falling. Landing on her back the air was knocked out of her as she blinked in surprise for a moment before she coughed and wheezed to catch her breath.
"Why you lil!" She exclaimed scowling now as Sofie formed some kind of brick wall then "push" it over onto her. App had to admit it did look realistic enough to make her flinch, but then she remembered 2 things. One, bricks were really sharp so they couldnt harm her and two, Sofie could make illusions like she demonstrated in class. Suddenly a grin crept over her lips and just as the "wall" would of reached her she shot out her arm just like before, sending her fist straight through the illusion before using the momentum to jump to her feet. Just in time to see Sofie running to a nearby tree.
"Your not getting away that easy Sofe-chan!" She called out before starting to run after the fair skinned girl. After a few feet App used her Quirk to let her legs stretch and propel her upper body forward with her arms open. If her plan worked she would collide with Sofie's back and wrap her arms around her waist. "Gotchya!"
~~~~~~~

Sofie got a little flustered as App called her out about the branch hitting her, "i-it was a trap, I didn't expect you to be all the way out here."Sofie said as she formed the brick wall before Appolline, her flinching making her believe she bought the ruse giving Sofie the chance to escape. After pushing the wall down and starting to run away she couldn't help but smile and laugh some more due to App's reactions to her tricks, she was having more fun than she first thought this exercise would be. "Even though neither of us expected this fight we must still try are best…..If I can defeat someone from the Hero class my future will look that much brighter!" she exclaimed showing off her determination to Appolline as best she could while still trying to get to a better position.

As Sofie continued to run on foot App seemed just as determined to get her saying she wouldn't get away that easy. Not looking back Sofie could see her destination, it was one of the larger trees in their immediate area, if she could just reach it she would be able to begin her next move. As Sofie was almost in arms reach of the tree she felt something smack into her back before seeing the dark skinned girl's arms wrapped around her waist, followed by a quick Gotchya. Sofie was practically sweating bullets now as she tried to squirm her way out of Appollines grip, but couldn't. With a bright smile she turned to App hey... friend...your not mad about the tree branch still right? Right??" she would ask as she struggled against Appolline to no avail.

~~~~~
"Oh no...Not at allllllll…." App responded with a playfully and obviously sarcastic as an evil glint shown her eyes. Refusing to release her hold on the taller girl she decided to activate her second Quirk. Sofie would start to feel the uncontrollable urge to giggle then laugh to the point of tears while Appolline finally released her. "Give up?" She questioned knowing the girl was in no condition to fight now.
~~~~~~

Hearing App's sarcastic retort Sofie knew she was in trouble now. She tried to struggle a little more but before she knew it she was starting to laugh, unbearable so. "hahahahaha… what did hehe you do to me? Hahaha" Sofie asked as she was brought to tears by her own laughter. Soon enough she found herself on the ground laughing so hard when she heard App ask her if she gave up all Sofie could do was nod as she wanted it to stop. When she finally stopped laughing she was panting trying to catch her breath "whew….your tougher than you look App….I'll want a rematch one day." she smiled at her friend.

When Marina came face to face with Sairen she felt a twinge of sadness. The poor girl had been so nervous in their first meeting, proclaiming the want of a new friendship. However, she knew that there would be no justice in denying Sairen her chance to battle. With this in mind she proceeded the battle.

Once the battle was over she had returned to her base. The shock on Sairen face just before surrendering made Marina question. What was the reason for it? It made her curious, perhaps if Sairen is willing to speak to her after the tests were over her curiosity would be satisfied.

Marina arrived at the base and waited for her next test. Hopefully it wouldn't be to difficult of a thing to handle. She sat down near a tree and waited.

With the procedure explained to them by the two Homeroom teachers, Team 1 spent little time idling around and immediately proceeded to planning out their course of action for this final test.

The test itself was simple enough. A game of Capture the Flag. A team needs to steal the enemy flag while and bring it back to their base, while at the same time, thwarting the enemy forces' efforts to capture their own flag. Though this game would differ from traditional capture the flag since the participants themselves aren't your regular, run off the mill students.

Each individual is permitted to use their own quirks, though since this is a test, and since they are students, the applications would be limited to non-lethal ones.

After listening to everyone's inquiries, Yuutsu decided to just play as a support attacker of sorts, softening up the enemy team's defenses to allow his own team mates to intervene and secure the enemy flag. He honestly didn't mind being assigned as a defender either, although with Reika being a part of his team, their defenses would already be considerably good mainly because of her capacity to incapacitate any attackers.

With their roles sorted out, the teachers proceeded to launch the flare, signalling the start of the test.

Judging from the simultaneous explosions in the distance, it would seem that Yoshio Bakugo was already eagerly on his way. The boy seemed too determined to make a name for himself this early on.

On the other hand, Yuutsu calmly walked into the forest, much to everyone's confusion, until he disappeared from everyone's sight. With the trees obstructing the view of both friend and foe, and with the shade they provide, Yuutsu could take advantage of this natural camouflage and his quirk to infiltrate the enemy perimeter virtually undetected.

Despite Yoshio being the greatest threat from Team 2, Yuutsu couldn't afford facing him this early on while holding back on his abilities. If he wishes to save his potential for later, he would just need to rely on the others' capabilities to stop the explosive beast in his tracks.

Not long after he had resorted to guerrilla warfare, Yuutsu spotted a reptilian-like student wearing U.A.'s gym uniform. The student must either be from General Studies, or one of the few in Hero Class that he seemed to have missed earlier.

Anyways, the student wasn't part of his team, and that made him a target for Yuutsu. Focusing his quirk, the gray haired boy created a gigantic fist out of darkness which then lunged towards the Reptilian student to grab him, and possibly drag him inside the forest without his teammates noticing.
~~~~
Kaizu felt really awkward on his assigned team. It wasnt that he disliked the people on it or anything, it was the fact that he was the only one with a Quirk so....Noticeable. At least the other team had the monkey girl, Marina, who made him feel just slightly less like a humanoid Godzilla. Mentally shaking himself he refused to let his insecurities get the best of him. This wasnt a beauty contest afterall, it was a battle! Or at least a mock one...
Following his group to their base he listened to one of his teammates, Sora he remembered from Homeroom, speak up to be leader. Nodding in encouragement he had no qualms with it. He was a bit disappointed when he was selected to be a Defender. But then again he did have some pretty good attributes for it so he voiced no complaints. As the flare rose in the sky to be blocked by the blaring sun, Kai immediately went on alert.
Staying within a 10ft radius of the flag, he was their last line of defense. But soon he heard the others starting their battles and it was starting to wear on him. "I wanna help...." He whined to the open air but he knew if he left his post and the flag was stolen his team would be more than a little angry at him. Luckily his boredom didnt last too much longer as a....GIANT FIST?!? Came hurtling towards him.
Eyes going wide Kai was suddenly grateful for his instinctive reflexes as his tail launched him off the ground and to the side just in time to dodge the shadow fist. A large plume of dust billowing off the ground where the fist made impact. "Yikes...." He commented as his gaze focused in on the cause of Mr. Scary McGiant Fist. Seeing the grey haired boy from his class, Yu-Yuki-Yute? He couldnt remember exactly.
"Thats one hell of a greeting there buddy. Were you trying to make a Kaizu pancake?" He questioned lightheartedly.
~~~~
"Tch"

Yuutsu clicked his tongue as his attacked had apparently missed its mark. He was planning to do all this as quietly as possible. Drag the lizard student into the forest, bind him in chains, rinse repeat if he encounters more defenders.

But as he'd hoped, it didn't go all accordingly to plan as Kaizu's reflexes got in the way of a perfectly executed incapacitation. The guy seemed more irked than surprised, however, when he complained about Yuu trying to turn him into a pancake. While that may have been not such a bad idea in itself, Yuutsu can't cause any fatal injuries so flattening people was out of the question. And with his opponent on full alert now, all chances of stealth had been thrown out the window as well.

"That wasn't my intention, no. Since we can't do anything fatal, I was planning to incapacitate you early on, but it appears you're going to make things harder for me. Very well, then."

As Yuutsu stretched his hand towards the reptilian student, thick tendrils of darkness would sprout behind him and launch themselves towards Kaizu, some veering left, some flanking his right, and some charging straight towards him. It was not the prettiest of applications, but considering that this turned from an ambush to a battle, then he'll use it as long as it works.

Hopefully, a couple of them would manage to latch themselves on Kaizu, which could dramatically reduce his movements, and consequently decide the battle in one fell swoop.
~~~~
Grinning as the guy sent out more shadows at him, this time in the form of tendrils. 'Well at least this will make for an interesting fight...' He thought, getting revved up now. Kaizu glanced to each side of him, he couldnt dodge the ones coming from the front without getting caught by the ones to his left and right. He didnt have much time to come up with a decent plan so he did the first thing that came to mind, he flew....So to speak.
Crazily enough Kai started to run straight for the tendrils charging at him, but about 2ft from reaching him he used his tail to propel himself into the air. Using the momentum of his short sprint to clear the tendrils and land on a low hanging branch to the left of his opponent. He dug his talons into the wood to keep himself stable.
"Whew...You almost had me there." He commented before suddenly using his tail to bash into the side of the tree. The impact breaking the tree in half and sending the top half hurtling toward the Shadow Boy. The falling log was slow enough though that he would have time to dodge or if capable, stop it. It was to serve as more of a distraction than attack.
~~~~
"Dodged again, huh?"

This was starting to get annoying for Yuutsu now as none of his attacks seem to be landing on the lizard boy. This time, his opponent went on the offensive as a tree trunk was launched towards him. Deftly dodging the lumbering log, he launches volley upon volley of swords towards the Kazu.

While it may seem to be just random, uncoordinated attacks from the gray haired boy in Kazu's perspective, in reality, he was leading the reptilian student towards a deeper, darker portion of the woods. Once they get there, the darkness would be great enough to allow him to conjure chains everywhere to bind the lizard for good.
~~~~
"Hup!" Kaizu did a back flip off the branch to dodge the next volley of tendrils sent at him. Pushing his taloned feet off another tree behind him he propelled himself forward to dodge yet more of those pesky shadows. To stop himself he caught ahold of another tree a few yards meters away and dug his claws into the bark making a small line as he spun around the trunk once before landing back to the ground. "Man if I didnt know better I'd think you didnt like me." Kai taunted as she shook some splinters from the scales covering his hand.
Getting a little tired of playing the defense the neon haired boy decided to change it up a bit. Grabbing 2 small but long branches in each hand he did a quick spin for momentum before throwing each one in succession straight for Yu-something. But they were aimed straight, instead they were spinning in a horizontal pattern. He didnt want to impale the guy afterall.
While the shadow user would be distracted with his projectiles he would dash off into the darker side of the forest and sprint forward in his direction close behind the flying branches. Upon reaching his opponent Kai would veer to the side straight for him, hoping to catch him off guard by flanking him.
~~~~
This was really getting annoying for Yuutsu. None of his attacks had hit so far but if there was any silver lining to it, he did manage to steer his opponent right where he wanted.

The lizard boy tried to launch two branches towards him as projectiles while subsequently running to a dimmer part of the forest. It was going well according to plan and if the lizard boy thinks he was going to pull a surprise attack on him had another thing coming.

Focusing his quirk, he would leave an exact replica of himself to deal with the logs while he used his own shadow as a gateway to the darker side of the forest, slipping in virtually undetected. Kaizu would see Yuutsu clone use dark tendrils to catch the logs in midair, and as he pounces towards it for an attack, thinking it's still the real Yuutsu. But much to his surprise, as soon as he prepared to lunge towards the fake, it disappears into a pile of smoke and at the same time, black chains have wrapped tightly onto his limbs, restricting his movements completely.

"Checkmate." Yuutsu says from behind him, a grin strapped to his face as he observed the handiwork he had done.

"Gotta admit that you made it really tough for me, but the moment you stepped into this part of the forest, the result had been inevitable. Better luck next time."

The gray haired boy would leave the student with the reptilian quirk bound in the forest for the duration of the match, releasing him only when a clear winner was decided.
~~~~
Just as Kaizu thought he was going to get a solid hit in, the illusion he thought was Yuutsu dispersed into smoke before his very eyes. Eyes going wide he suddenly felt chains of shadow clamp down on his arms and legs keeping him hanging in midair. "Crapcrapcrap!" He exclaimed trying to struggle out of the chains but it was no use, he was caught like a fly in a spider's web. His off gold eyes flared for a moment as his opponent showed himself but then instantly calmed as he hung his head with a chuckle. "Well dam, and I here I thought I finally had you. Good fight, I'll want a rematch soon though!" He admitted defeat with a carefree shrug then a determined grin. But as the shadow user started to walk away Kai grew worried. "H-Hey your not gonna leave me hangin here are you?? C'mon Y-Yuki!" He called out to no avail as Yuutsu walked off. "Great...."
Luckily Kaizu didnt have to wait too long before another flare shot into the sky signaling a team had won. Only moments after the chains melted back into the shadows and he was free to fall to the ground. Landing on his feet he stretched his cramped muscles for a moment before heading over to the tower in the center where the teacher's were waiting. "I wonder if we won..." He thought out loud but had a sneaking suspicion considering his loss that they didnt. Upon arriving at the tower his suspicions were confirmed. A bit glum he slunked back to his Team who looked just about as disappointed as him.
Sofie had lost the battle but not her spirit as she talked with her friend App. After a short amount of time the two would see the second signal flare telling them the battle was over and to return to the tower with which they all had started at. Sofie would walk and talk with App, unless she ran off ahead to get the flag or just be with her team, if she didn't Sofie would speak to her more "soo App, what did you do to make me laugh so much? was that your quirk?" she would say as she went to lightly punch her friends arm, a little sore about losing. She had fun during the battle but was surprised to see it ended with her teams Win, even though she had lost her fight it seemed her team had won. Happily she waited at the tower for the rest of the students to show up, so they could continue with their classes for the rest of the day.
As she waited she soon spied Marina sitting under a tree by herself, seeing the opportunity present it self, she grabbed App's hand, if she was still with her, and would drag her over to the tree where Marina was. Stopping just in front of her Sofie would smile "Mm-aarrinna, Mind if i join you? ohhh please tell me you have some more snacks, I'm dying for some food." she laughed as she leaned against Marina lightly, hopeing she would say yes to her question.
Bakugo chuckled a little as he'd seem to have startled Reika-san though his chuckle quickly went away as from her words it sounded like she was still gonna leave him there for a bit which was confirmed when she smiled and walked away. The blonde boy started to struggle in the granite cloths as he called out to her. "Oi! Wait Rei..." He stopped himself from saying her given name though saying her nickname unknowingly. "Hamasaki-san! Come on, I swear I'll walk back to the tower!" After a few more second of struggling he simply tired himself out yet again and waited quietly like she'd originally asked.
Once the flare shot up signaling the end of the mock battle and Bakugo's cloths were finally turned to normal he happily rose up from the debris and stretched his limbs from being stiff like that. He looked around to see not only Yuuki and Reika but also an unconscious Queen sitting up against the destroyed remains of a tower. With a sigh the boy walked over to the girl and picked her up on his back; piggyback style. With the unconscious student on his back he shouted over at Reika and Yuuki. "See you both at the tower. Don't worry, I'll bring her back." As he pointed to the girl on his back and started walking through the woods to the tower. He didn't know who she was but she was on his team so it's only right that he'd carry her back as she couldn't do it herself at the moment. Contrary to what his father believes Yoshio actually wants to help people as that's what a real hero does. Those who are only interested in power and gains for themselves are selfish and like villains. Aside from a few very odd pot holes and sudden pine cones coming out of nowhere and almost tripping him Bakugo made it back to the tower with Queen on his back, promptly handing her over to any more first aid or medical personal on standby.
The boy's got some cuts and bruises probably more than most of the other students in the mock battle but it wasn't anything that wouldn't be gone by tomorrow. After finding out the final scores from all of the tests Bakugo would approach Yuuki when he'd return probably with Reika and extend out a hand with a warm smile. "Guess we're tied for best in show. Let's settle this tie some other time though okay, Reika-san kinda did a real number on me." He'd laugh whole kindheartedly. He was now showing more so of who he really was and not simply the spawn of his more infamous hero father.
Upon reaching the tower and clearing the underbrush and forest, she was more than a little shocked. Misoka was fairly sure, collapsing your flag to hide it broke all sorts of rules. While other battles raged on and her team was still closing in, Misoka takes a chance. Venturing out, the flag was partly buried under some rubble, taking her time to fire her left arm off to snatch the flag, she had it.. Great, plenty of people would now be aiming to kick her ass, unless her team was very lucky.
Wrestling with indecision she knew there would be no way she could reach the base at a run, no way she could guide a limb that far and keep control. "Owwwwoo.." Making a strange sound, she does the next best, if not insane option.
Taking her head off and biting on part of the flag, she sets her body off walking behind her, then finds a clearing. Judging the distance, she closes her eyes, head laying on the ground, as her body runs up, field goal kicking her head. "Uwuwuwu!" Tearing up out of fear of losing her body, he head flies through the sky, feeling the impact of a few limbs she sails far and true, letting the flag go as her head impacts face first with the Tower Wall. "Uwwwwwaaa!"
As her head rolls around, she finds something rather surprising as she waits for the rolling to stop, Takagi. "Uwuwuwuw!" Continuing with her sad noise, her body makes it's way through the woods like a blind person, bumping into trees, feeling it's way around, nearly crawling as it did so to be careful. Until it reaches the area of her head. "Over here!"
As her body neared the location, it's hands desperately searched, at first landing on a rock. "No you idiot!" Feeling around the object it seemed to conclude the obvious, before a final few short moments her body lays hold of her, picking her head up and placing it on her neck, blazing her blue flame aura, a smile finally reaches her face as she wipes her eyes.
Venturing back to the tower she finds the Ice user gloating over Takagi seemingly. While she was an enemy they were still classmates and she was at a huge disadvantage. Rubbing her face and head, it was good she had some of her fathers ability, because even with her pain tolerance, using her head as a soccer ball had hurt.
"What?..Err they said knock others out... Freezing people can kill them you know? And I brought the flag back, the flare should fire soon..if it hasn't already, so how about you unthaw her?"
Having just her PE clothes she would have been happy to try warming the girl up with a cloak or blanket, having neither, she hesitantly touches her, unsure if she would shatter like in some movie, rubbing her back in a rather sad attempt to warm her up. Being covered in a film of ice wasn't exactly the same as warming up a fellow student on a cold day, but at least she seemed somewhat concerned about the situation.
U.A. Mock Battleground
The teachers watched their students from afar, having a clear view of the battleground from vantage point. Once Misoka managed to return Team 2's flag to Team 1's base they shot another flare into the sky signalling the end of the 9th test. Descending the tower they waited for the students to gather back to them before announcing the winner. "You have all done very well and we are proud that you restrained yourself enough that there were no serious injuries." Venetica picked up where Koda ended "The official winner of this test is...Team 1!" She announced with a proud smile although she felt sympathy for the other team.
"Each member of Team 1 has now received 100 points to their overall total. Team 2 you have received 50 each for your participation as well." She explained before stepping to the side. "Well without further ado...Here are your results!" Tugging on a large cloth hanging from the tower it fell into a heap on the ground to reveal a digital scoreboard that held all their names and scores from 1st to last.
  1. Yuuki = 695 | Yoshio = 695
  2. Lairen = 669
  3. Yuutsu = 662
  4. Shouya = 649
  5. Marina = 606
  6. Appolline = 570
  7. Reika = 528
  8. Sora = 520
  9. Kaizu = 506
  10. Sairen = 489
  11. Sofie = 444
  12. Red = 414
  13. Misoka = 411
  14. Takagi = 359
"Bakugo, Yoshio and Ishida, Yuuki have tied for 1st place." Koda explained "Takagi, Misoka, Red, Sofie, and Sairen. You 5 have placed last and thus will be attending remedial classes starting tomorrow for the next 2 weeks." He stated with a sympathetic smile.
Afterward both classes were ushered back to the lockers to wash up and change while any student with more serious injuries was sent to the nurse's office for treatment. Eventually everyone would gather back to their classroom's for a rundown on how they could of done better on attacking, defending, planning, controlling their Quirk, ect. 30 Minutes later the bell would ring to signal an hour Lunch for both classes.
Marina stomach began to growl, hopefully the tests ends soon and she could get some real food. She was lost in her own thoughts when Sofie came over pulling along App. Wasn't App suppose to be on the other team? Marina smiled, it was a pleasant sight. She hoped the battle wouldn't change the way some would view others. Power does not always make one influential, nor does lack of power make one irrelevant. Hopefully, Marina will be able to gain the better of all sides by the end of this journey.
Once the girls were close enough, Marina grinned. Questions about food made her even more happy. Finally someone that understands the importance of proper nutrition in order to keep their energy levels going. "Hey girls! Did you all do well? I actually have a little something in my pocket.", she reached into her pocket and pulled out one bag of fruit gummy snacks. "I only have one. HOWEVER! if you give me a moment. I shall save us all from hunger!", she said dramatically.
Marina looked down at the plastic bag in her hand. The warm smooth texture, surrounded by rough edges of sealant. She took a deep breath, "Now." she said quietly to herself. Suddenly in her hands 3 more of the same fruit snacks popped out from the original. Marina smiled happily that they had formed properly in her hands.
She looked over at the other two and held out the newly formed fruit gummy bags. "Here one for each and an extra for just encase. It may not be much but it is better than nothing." Lucky for them the announcements were being made on the results of the tests. Which meant this will soon be over and she can share a proper bag of snacks.
Sora awoke with a painful throbbing in his jaw and cheek. It took him a moment to remember how he had ended up unconscious on the ground. 'That Misoka girl....' He thought with a groan as he rolled onto his back then sat up trying to get his bearings. "Dam...Last time I underestimate someone that can detach their head.." He complained out loud before pulling himself up to his feet. While dusting himself off he looked around to find no one near him and their flag was missing. "Great...Why do I get the feeling I missed a lot?" With a sigh he rubbed the forming bruise along his jawline where the girl had clocked him.
His eyes snapped up when he heard a flare whiz into the sky signalling the end of the test.
"Yup I missed a lot." Hoping his teammates were in at least better shape than him Sora made his way to the tower. He saw Team 2 already gathered there, some looked a little more roughed up than others. Especially Yoshio, it looked like he had a fight with some sort of stone giant and lost. Joining up with them he rubbed the back of his head as he was informed of their failure and Team 1's triumph. Feeling mostly responsible he turned to his team with his eyes cast down in shame. "I'm sorry guys...." He apologized before turning to see the overall scores as they were revealed.
To his surprise he wasnt in the last 5, more towards the middle actually. 'Guess theres a little silver lining.' He thought while looking over everyones scores. Ironically the last 5 were all females, but this wasnt something he was going to mention. He valued his man parts a bit too much for that. But when he saw Misoka's name in the last 5 he couldnt help the twitch of a grin coming to his lips. 'Dont do it, dont do it....' His inner, more sane voice chanted in his head while the much less sane voice begged him to exact revenge. Luckily the kinder side of him won out and he stayed silent.
Once all the announcements were made and they were dismissed Sora started making his way back to the locker's. After changing he was sent to the nurse's office to get his jaw checked out. In which case he received a "kiss" that healed most of the damage and was sent away feeling semi-lethargic. All through class he kept mentally kicking himself for not coming up with a better strategy and for letting the Headless Wonder lay him out within only a few minutes.
The battle finished and Red had awoken in time to make it back to her team after it had ended. As the scores were being presented Red's mood plummeted each time it wasn't her name. By the time her name was called she was already on her hands and knees with a defeated aura. If not for the remedial classes Red would have been a bit more optimistic about the situation.
Once she was back in the classroom she felt her neck starting to feel sore. Laying her head down on her desk she started to think about how she could've beaten him, Lairen.
'Man I could've easily beaten him if it weren't for the fact that I couldn't use any of my good weapons' Red thought to herself. She sat there still a bit disappointed by how low she was on the scoreboard.
The mock battle soon came to an end as a flare shot up, signaling a winner. Both teams met back with the teachers, the twins immediately finding each other. Lairen's protective instincts came over as he rushed to check up on her before the results were announced. He could see her uniform torn at the arm and the back. Upon closer inspection, there were small cuts where the blades had once been, leaving him bitter at the fact that he was not there for her. They exchanged looks, Sairen's eyes begging her brother not to make a big deal out of it. He obliged with a sigh, giving his sister a pet on the head as they not turned to the teachers.
Despite the announcement of Team 1's victory, Lairen's face remained troubled and visually unhappy. His sister, on the other hand, congratulated her brother happily with a light nudge and a bright smile. The touching moment was interrupted by the reveal of the final scores, a sight that made Sairen's heart sink. She wasn't last, but she had to take remedial classes, much to Lairen's dismay. It only meant less time with his sister.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Class was dismissed soon after and they both went their separate ways to their respective changing rooms. Before changing, Sairen hurried to the nurses office, her hair covering her injured back as she ran. It wouldn't make sense to change into her uniform before getting treated. If she did, she'd only get blood on it. Luckily, she was the first one there. She was greeted by the nurse and quickly revealed her back. The wounds were treated equally as quick with a small kiss that soon left her quite tired. As she left the room, a familiar sight caught her eye. Sora. He seemed to be headed in the direction of the nurses office, so she didn't want to interact with him in fear of delaying the treatment of his wounds. Instead, she hurried back to the locker rooms to change into the proper uniform.

Back in class, the students went over ways they could have improved, but Sairen already knew the one thing she needed to improve on. Her control over her quirk. The thought made her sigh deeply, but fortunately, the lunch bell rang, disrupting the depressing thoughts that had begun to enter her mind. She stood up quietly and made her way to the door, hesitating for a moment before turning around. Her feet led her to Sora, who was still seated at the time. "Would you like to eat lunch together?" She said without thinking, her eyes avoiding his out of embarrassment and fear of rejection. Despite this, she wanted to make at least one friend today and the closest one to being friends with her was Sora.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lairen, who had no injuries, changed into his uniform and returned to class. After a while of going over the mock battle, the bell rang to signal lunch time. His first thought was to immediately fetch his sister, but instead, he went to Red's desk with a friendly smile on his face. "How you doing? I didn't hurt you badly, right?" He said, putting his hand out to shake hers while crouching down to her height. "No hard feelings? Why don't we eat lunch together to make up?"
SHOUYA AZUHA
It looked like the victory was right around the corner for his team. Shouya had immobilized Takagi before her. She was covered with ice and he made sure that she couldn't use her unique Quirk. Not so long after, Misoka, one of the offensive player in their team returned. Shifting his attention away from Takagi, he could see that his teammate had brought back the flag.
The victory was assured, or it almost was. Hearing Misoka's displeasure towards his own actions, he merely did dont react expression-wise, but spoke up. "Don't worry, she is merely incapacitated. She can't move, so I've considered our fight finished." Walking up to Misoka and Takagi, he turned around at the sound of a flare going up in the air.
And thus, it was confirmed. They managed to come out victorious in their battle against the second team. "You should be happy that this wasn't an actual fight." He added, talking directly to Misoka. Touching the ice, he closed his eyes for a mere second. Only moments later, the ice cracked, before it was shattered into many pieces. He made sure no harm would come to his classmate.
"We should head back." Turning away, he pocketed his hands and made his way to the teachers for the final result. Once all the students had gathered up once more. Some were battered while some looked fine. Shouya did not look fine at all, but the injuries he had sustained from Takagi were not fatal. They were minor if anything.
Their team had won and the teacher revealed the board with the result. It was from all the nine tests. Although Shouya did not come in the first place, he was more than satisfied to be among the top five. Even if he didn't really care, it was fine in his book. There was a lot on his mind. His red eyes squinted ever so slightly. A flashback of a memory ran through his mind, involving his older sister. "Tch.."
It was not a good memory, not for him at the very least. They were all told to usher back to the lockers and change up. Anyone with injuries should head to the nurse office to heal them, while others could return to class and prepare for lunch if anything. Once dismissed, Shouya left the U.A. Field and made his way to the locker rooms. Changing into something much more appropriate and something that wasn't torned by the battle against Takagi earlier, he simply left for the nurse's office to get his injuries healed up.
However, he was the last one if anything who had his injuries healed. Returning to class, he took a seat at his appropriate place, though it did not take long before the lunch bell rang. Standing up, he approached Takagi. The woman before her may or may not be in a good mood, though it was probably because of the results from the nine tests. "How about lunch?" Shouya was direct, but that was not his intention.
More or less, he had a hard time approaching someone and have a casual conversation with them. Though with time, he would perhaps seem less cold and much more open. Perhaps his time at the Academy will change that.
